I want to play online casino which has the following criteria As others already said, I also think that best approach for you would be to look for yourself. Of course, a shortcut could be to go to casino comparation sites like casinocritique.com (it's not my site btw, it was advertised on the forum).

Nicely done, sir! I've bookmarked it and I've also done a complete save, just in case. It will be a very good source of information for many, and being so simple it could go very high in search results (maybe ref links is the next step? j/k) Maybe theymos changes his mind and then you'll be able to also link ANN pages from bitcointalk. One can hope...

I've developed a unique approach to not only recover lost or stolen Bitcoin accounts I need a more powerful computer or funding to acquire one. Quite a lot of bullshitting coming from this newbie that seems to have discovered brute force attacks and decided to get an AI compose a service-like essay about that No, you don't deserve anybody's trust nor money, and no, this is not a real service you could offer: * Bitcoins are meant to be kept in wallets, not accounts * Bitcoin accounts are accounts on websites (exchanges and such). And they will most probably block you fast enough when you start trying to brute force them

Am I missing something or the x64, i.e. most modern computers, are not affected by this? And the old computers may not have UEFI.
So.. am I missing something or this is actually not much of a threat to really care about?

If this could be possible it will be less stressful than the above option but how do I get a tails USB ? Have anyone tried it before? To share the experience
Yes, I've tried it, actually even a couple of times. I had difficulties in installing other software, but Electrum is there already, so you have a good start. You have to boot from the USB, you need to enable persistent storage at every start, you have to disable network at every start and I think that you have to add electrum to persistent storage. As documentation, tails os website has a lot of useful doc/tutorial, also the blog I've linked in my previous post covers a lot, including what to do to create the bootable stick (which is imho the easiest step).
|
|
|
One way that might work easier (somebody more knowledgeable should confirm) is to boot from a Tails USB and at boot time select (in offline mode settings) to stay without network (now the default is with network on). It's not my blog, I've found it on web search, but one of the last images on this page shows what I want to tell. Of course that if you want to use it for air gapped wallet you may want o enable persistence and so on, hence still things to learn and check.

Share your thoughts, would you do this if you've a very deep pocket?
No. Not at all. If I'd be rich I could easily go to better countries than El Salvador - maybe not so nice weather, but for example much better schools, roads and medical system. Even if I'd pe much poorer than "very deep pockets" (but still not poor), there are much cheaper ways to get El Salvador citizenship (I've seen on twitter even ideas to get married there, lol). However, El Salvador is not in my top10 countries I would want to be citizen of, and this pretty much sums it up.

[Voting 2023] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆

Could this mean that in the next cycle we will have more mining power coming in, to take advantage of this drop in difficulty? Or does this normally not happen?
I even have the impression that sometimes (I don't know how often, I don't watch it that closely) some miner(s) turn the gears off in the last days/hours before the retargeting to help lowering the difficulty for the following two weeks. Of course, I can't tell for sure it happens for real or it's just a feeling.

I voted BTT and I'll also explain why. I've seen BCT and BTT a lot, but imho BCT can be easily mistaken as misspelled BTC, hence I prefer BTT. (as in BTC -> BTT) ...and lol !! to WO as option

Does this make sense or am I missing something?
No it doesn't. Sorry. First of all, the paranoia is too high in this equation, as Stompix has already mentioned. Then, you seem to misunderstand how bitcoin wallets work and this can easily get all your investment lost before you figure that out. So, instead of working with X's bitcoin account and Y's bitcoin account, just get yourself a hardware wallet, create a new seed and write it in steel (3 copies for geographically separated locations), recover the wallet from the seed (to make sure it's correct) and send the bitcoins there. You can even reset the hardware wallet afterwards or keep 0.0001 BTC on it. From this point on it doesn't matter at all (from finances point of view, obviously) which of the N persons will no longer be alive. Whoever has the seed backup (any of the backups or any copy you left unguarded!!) can spend, no matter the moment in time.

OP, your question and example are not great. Afaik in most countries oil or other resources from under your property actually belong to the state, not to you. Plus, nobody will give you twice the market price for bitcoin, they will just buy what is available.
Even more, it's cheaper to seed some panic and make some sell than buying at double the price.

I wish people would stop using blockchain's services at all and thus force them to redesign that block explorer, it's so limited an annoying to navigate I wonder why do some exchanges still link to it. Mempool is far more ease to navigate and far more intuitive.
There were days blockchain's explorer was the one offering more info and more intuitive data and the rest were not. Sadly, they are long gone. But that's why I took the time and patience to tell the steps. By checking for themselves people can see how easy it is on mempool.space and maybe next time they can look it up themselves.
