Well, Mimblewimble seems to be in test phase as of today (this month) 10/1/2020! (That was a pleasant surprise...I was more than a bit cynical

that boat would float, in 2020. Smiley

Also a new Blockchain RPG Game with LTC at the core, according to the Litecoin Foundation, I just found out about today. I am currently downloading the game.

It gives you an LTC Address and Private Key for the mLTC you will be tossing about in the Game. Below is the Litecoin Foundation page with the link.

https://litecoin-foundation.org/latest-news/

Here is a www.youtube.com video from I think February 2020 on an Alpha 'look' at this LiteBringer Game, the link is below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0r0KF4ulA0

Again, right now it is downloading (in game I guess) the LTC blockchain as I type this. Would be 'great' if it was a 'decent' game to promote Litecoin!

Now if they would get that Litecoin Bank Card they have promoted on the Litecoin Foundation my entire 'skeptic' persona on this thread will be killed with

a stake though my heart! (Just saying, nothing suceeds like sucess!) Well, I'll post what I think of this LiteBringer RPG Game....please do the same on this

thread. Smiley

Another bit of 'vaporware' I wonder when this will be out? The pumped LTC card!

https://litecoin.getblockcard.com/

Knowing LTC development it must wait in line until Mimblewimble is in place first.

So it goes.

Brad
interesting. This card can be step towards the defi. why not also make a decentralized exchange uniswap style, using this card?

Mimblewimble will be 3 years in Jan 2021..I mean really LTC progress is sooooooo slow.....

https://bitcoinist.com/litecoin-price-mimblewimble-privacy/

also their announced litecoin card of the other month is still not doing anything but 'playing web page' as of now

https://litecoin.getblockcard.com/

I mean merge projects with another coin...steal some devs that way..that is what MMORPG game makers like EA Games do...

https://blog.bitmex.com/bitcoin-satellite/

Quote
Abstract: We have installed the Blockstream Bitcoin Satellite system, a way to download and verify Bitcoin’s blockchain via satellite, without the need for an internet connection. We were able to set up the system reasonably quickly and the satellite connection does indeed have enough bandwidth to keep the node at Bitcoin’s tip, most of the time. We conclude by establishing that although many Bitcoin enthusiasts are likely to find installing and running the system enjoyable, it is unlikely to serve any practical purpose for most users. However, because this satellite based system does have the potential to improve the censorship resistance characteristics of the Bitcoin network and defend against some forms of eclipse attacks, its existence is probably a positive development.

Heh, tempted, but I have not even put up the original Blockstream Thread unit! Too many 'toys' too little time!

Here is some more links in the following message for pictures and prices and such. I also updated the main page for the new unit.

From what I understand from this thread the 'old' unit of 2018 when this thread was made will also be upgraded and useable as well. So that is 'dandy' Smiley

My thanks for Last of the V8's for pointing this out on this thread. I had no 'frigging' idea! Smiley

New poll. Sorry I've been slacking on my WO duties  Kiss

We on WO all really know what is going on ...and how you are making the 'big bucks' on here....with the rubber room/whips and the extreme torture

of making folk (for $$$) endure such while making them read aloud all the WO posts as we post on WO in real-time.....

devilishly clever as a torture and S & M business...well played, well played indeed! Smiley

ack!...the horror! ..which reminds me I have to setup my next *cough* appointment. Smiley

There's an announced halving of block rewards coming this week. Price with the current level of volume is volatile, but over a longer period of time the halving should be price supportive as it will make BTC2 more scarce and there will be less reward selling.

Here's the link to the upcoming block rewards structure: https://www.bitc2.org/bitcoin2-block-rewards

do they double the amount needed for masternodes because of this?

no skin in this game but curious

brad

edit: https://www.coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin2/

up 125% so I'm befuddled indeed. Smiley

Sometimes you haiku.
Other times your ass gets haiku'ed.
Regardless, I hodl.

So the 'purpose' of WO now is to 'taunt' me with 'un-obtainable Women', as well as NOT having the 'huge' pump in BTC/Crypto prices that I desired at the

beginning of this year of 2020. Sad

damn, that is just mean...I mean give me a BTC/Crypto 'pump' to $15k ...and I'd give it a pass...but BOTH....cruel, WO, cruel indeed....Sad

(maybe I need a Cat...Cat people tell me life is better with a Cat...at least you give up the idea of any control in the household with a Cat)...

Brad

Better get checked for allergies first.  Life with cat if you're allergic sucks ass - trust me.

yeah..allergic to cats.....hot girls allergic to me...the wheel of FUD and despair continues...... ;(

can't even engage in my POW miner addiction anymore of any BTC/Crypto in that makes little sense these days...

oh well, I have WO right? So I'm well adjusted right?

What is the big 'scandal' with BTC 2 now? Seems is it down to 21c per BTC 2.

I smell something..not sure what though. Details?

Pfiou. I'm more of a small tits kind of guy but she wears them well!

Alas, I need 100k BTC to just get 'invited' to a party where there are enough 'rich guys' to even have such 'fantasy women' show up!..sure...

I still would not have a shot..but..hey, at least then someone looking like her might 'talk to me'.

Whereas now, if I was to approach to ask directions, w/o such a party invite, I'd get maced and arrested for 'stalking' or some such. (sheesh)

Anyway, little steps BTC Hoard/HODL...little steps....soon! Smiley

damn, looked in the mirror that is a sh*t load of BTC at a 100k price tag and the odds are still long! Sad

Brad

If/when I am rich screwing a few girls like that would be nice for sure, but I don't want to live with a gold digger.

Of course not.  None of us would want to settle down with any kind of girl like that.  Surely, it wouldn't be good.

Sorry...I'm weak-willed indeed! Would 'crumble' like a cookie...Gold Digger or not! (self-delusion is why I was in HODL mode in 2013...so I simply

will apply this to above....delusional or not) Stamp on my 'fantasy' will ya! (Leaves in a huff, kicks end table...)
