3621  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BREAKING NEWS! Philippine Central Bank Widens Cryptocurrency Regulation on: January 27, 2021, 04:18:28 PM
.....
Sa akin lang, this tight regulation destroys the purpose of decentralization.
Well, nagsimulang naapektuhan ang decentralization noong nagsilabasan ang mga centralized platforms kagaya ng coinsph lalo na nung na-patronize natin ito. In a way, tayo din ang dahilan. Kung mahilig ka naman sa true P2P transactions, hindi ka naman masyado maapektuhan ng mga ganitong regulation.

This is true.

The purpose of cryptocurrencies is because of its decentralization- which is free from any outside control.

3623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So how do i make daily20- 40$ here ? on: January 26, 2021, 05:49:04 PM
Simple doeble instructions to make small money daily 20-40$
? Whats most easy way ?
And its small money specially if we look how expensive is life  20 $ is very small daily

What are the simple doeble process to follow to make it

Just a word of advice before you start your journey in this forum: change your mindset about earning money in the forum.

If you seek to earn money but you joined this forum for that primary focus, chances are you will not be earning any. The purpose of this forum was created in order to share and learn about the basics of cryptocurrencies. By deviating from this purpose, you are hindering yourself from learning the basics and the knowledge about it. In addition, if there were a way to earn that amount of money, then I guess you wouldn't be asking that question.
3624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 26, 2021, 05:27:50 PM
After reading this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5311851.0 I got curious about people who died from heart attack when winning a huge amount on lottery and I'm quite surprised that there are so many documented cases about this situation. And will give you only pic so its up to you guys if you want to read all the articles that you can find on google, just search "lottery winners who died from heart attack". I feel sorry about their situation since instead of being lucky they turn out to be the most unlucky person by the time they hit the jackpot since they die without enjoying it.

If this luck come to us guys we need to chill out and save our hearts,  Grin We need to enjoy our wealth so don't get panic to enjoy the winning amount.

Well I guess they pretty been hit with that jackpot..

Nevertheless, what is the use of money if you're not even there to enjoy it in the first place? I remember I watched a video where a father won the lottery. In an orderly and calmly fashion, he informed his kids slowly that he indeed, won the jackpot.
I guess when that adrenaline hits you, you may be too overwhelmed about the situation which can lead to premature deaths. I just hope this does not happen anymore to anyone.
3625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if internet connectivity gets terminated on: January 26, 2021, 03:13:27 PM
I doubt that this can happen. So I try not to even think about it.

Yup, I really doubt that this would happen as the internet became the backbone of almost everything that the world has to do especially with its processes.

To be honest, along with the current technological advancements happening, the world will most likely shift to a cashless form of payment in the far future. Bitcoin, along with other altcoins, will play a huge role on the transactions as well as to the next generation of investing.

In reality if the internet connectivity gets terminated, my bitcoins would be the least thing that I will be worried about.
3626  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarism whitepaper --https://ypro.finance/ on: January 24, 2021, 08:11:54 PM
Yes, you are right. Its our fault. The source of text should be mentioned in our document.
You should be more careful before making a whitepaper, if you want to be serious in this matter, you need to do it professionally, don't just copy and paste, we know that current projects often make mistakes from their whitepapers, therefore the source is very important if you want. use that content.

There have been many WPs that I found before, the beginning is the same as yours, even all of them were copied without explaining where the source came from.

I personally think that the essence of plagiarizing is causing it to appear that you were the one who originally created such thread, but in fact, you stole/copied it from a different source.

Even if the whitepaper contained sources, but if you copy-pasted without even changing a single word/phrase from where you got the information constitutes plagiarism. Posting the link and indicating the source on where you copy-pasted the information cannot remedy the fact that you made it appear that you were the one who made such statements.
3627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 24, 2021, 07:45:42 PM
Crypto is ruled soon by sec and goverment its not goodw

Make your cash and get out of crypto
Pepple dont like regulated things fuck rules and regulations crypto is freedom if the goverment start fuck woth our bitcoins and crypto then its not good

We stay for using cash

I think the government sees the positive impact that cryptocurrencies brought to the market. Their only job is to balance the advantageous and the disadvantages of using cryptocurrencies due to its anonymity.

In addition, while I do understand that regulation is what the government strives for, I doubt that they will take full control of the cryptocurrencies sphere. Its decentralized nature is what makes this very attractive to most business owners and investors due to its high volatility which can be perfect for investment opportunities.
3628  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: January 24, 2021, 06:47:00 PM
Now that there is already a vaccine , could it be the end of covid- 19 virus? How are you after one year of covid-19 pandemic?

Hopefully that the vaccines that were created will significantly decrease the people from acquiring the Covid virus. But given its wide-scale damage caused globally, this will take a long time until the virus gets eradicated completely.

Take Polio virus as an example, it became a global pandemic in the 1940-1950s which killed at least half a million people.1 Although a vaccine was successfully created, the virus still exists today but in very limited quantities.

The creation of a covid vaccine in such a short amount of time gives me hope about the future scientific research that may solve the cure for HIV and cancer. I do hope that this would start the journey towards a scientific breakthroughs of other viruses that may be curable in the future.

3629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 24, 2021, 06:07:17 PM
Once again after so many years in which I last gambled, withdrew some of my funds to purchase online skins in Dota 2 and I subsequently bet them (skins worth $50).

In the first match, I won $25 from my initial bet which garnered my total winnings to around $75. In a Haily Mary attempt, I bet all of those skins in one match to the team that I was confident in them. Long story short, they loss the game from a best of 3 series and lost all of those skins in the process. Well, maybe gambling is not just for me.

I'm cutting my loss in gambling, last December I loss a lot before new year, I was taking a chance since Bitcoin is growing and hoping that I can double or triple my Bitcoin but unfortunately luck is not on my side on those days but I believe I can recover my loss, I just need to be relax and be a responsible gambler and go back to enjoying the game like the good old days.

Before I used to gamble my bitcoins but I realized that their value was so high that I am depriving myself of earning extra funds if I just HODL them instead. I highly recommend that you save your BTCs as their value is extraordinarily high.
3630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin will remain stable at this price? on: January 24, 2021, 03:17:19 PM
For some time now I have been seeing the price of bitcoin fluctuate between $30k to $40k.If it is stable,I think it is possible to make a good profit. But, I wonder if the price of Bitcoin will suddenly go below $30k then many people will lose money and if it goes above $40k, I think it's possible to make a huge profit.

What are you thinking about this?

I remember back in 2018, prices of bitcoin were stable around $4,000-$4,500 and that price stayed for months. After the last quarter of that year, its price significantly jumped and skyrocketed from $4,000 to $20,000 but its price dropped significantly after such increase.

I do have a feeling that the price of bitcoin will become stable at this range. One of the possibilities would be that this will be the new price floor as it may increase further in the few months to come. Hence, I highly advise to HODL and to sell at ATH for maximum profit.
3631  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Same scammers, different tricks on: January 24, 2021, 07:57:56 AM
so the best advice is to stop opening unrecognized mails.
Yes, Even those scammers use some tools to check who are opening the email and who are not. And thus they frequently keep sending who open it. So better to not open. But we are all very curious when we see something like this, Smiley (because we are human)

Always such email is risky and it will more risky when it carry a link or a file. So always don't brother to visit the link or download the file.

Every time whenever I check my emails and the contents of such contain links leading to like a giveaway or porn stuff, I blatantly ignore them.

Just a question though, was there a time that you guys received an email containing a link and such link was really a legit giveaway or website? I'm really curious as I only tend to ignore these kinds of links given the number of scammers nowadays.

On a side note, it is always better to post these kinds of threads to at least inform newbies and naive beginners on what to avoid.
3632  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 23, 2021, 08:18:22 PM
I remember seeing a post that before the mass production of the vaccine, people were already started selling vaccines under the dark web for like thousands of dollars and some were selling it for bitcoin.

To be honest, you can almost purchase at least everything under the dark web. You can all sorts of things, services, and products their ranging from weird to contraband and terrorizing stuffs. I just hope some people are not actually purchasing and trying all of these things.

3633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: January 23, 2021, 06:51:31 PM
Given the current situation of the pandemic, business owners are opting to establish illegal gambling facilities to at least help them with their situation. But the pandemic alone does not justify their illegal gambling activities especially that they lack all the required licenses and permits to do so.

What do you think ?
Should they make reforms before shutting down the whole thing ? I think this could benefit people and the government as a whole.

The government needs to formulate ideas on how to at least combat unemployment and job opportunities given the pandemic. People are resulting to illegal activities due to the situation that most are being laid off by the companies. In addition, tax rates must also be adjusted given the current situation. This will benefit both sides in the long run and until countries have adjusted to the pandemic.

3635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvest initial investment, or keep profits? on: January 23, 2021, 01:10:03 PM
<snip..>

Diversify your investments by allocating your money into different investment mechanisms available.

While investing in bitcoin may be profitable due to its high volatility, there is always that possibility that the market may crash and its price may significantly decrease without any given notice. I do suggest that you keep the profits and re-invest your initial $5,000 until it profits again.

I also think it's ideal if you invest your money into stocks and bank notes. Focus always on long-term in order to at least maximize your profits. I learned this by experience where I failed to invest into stocks and its price suddenly increased after a few years.
3636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to buy and to store bitcoin on: January 23, 2021, 06:02:11 AM
<snip...>

I would personally recommend purchasing BTC if your country offers a local exchange that also provides a local wallet simultaneously. There are lots of hardware wallet being sold online which I do also recommend.

In addition, there are various online exchanges (if a local exchange is unavailable in your country) that are trusted and have been used by people ever since. You can purchase BTC there without any fear of being scammed online.
3637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: January 22, 2021, 06:51:05 PM
My father almost bets and purchases lotto tickets everyday.

Based from our experience, my father won twice in two (2) separate occasions in getting 5/6 numbers from the jackpot. The first time he won 5 numbers, at that time, he chose the numbers based on our respective birthdays in the family. But on that day, he changed one number from his original list (which turned out to be my birthday) and replaced it with another number. Unfortunately, the winning jackpot contained my birthday on it! I remember the regret on his face when that happened!

On the second time my father won, he let our nanny purchase the lotto tickets using the random draw from the machine. He believed in what they say 'beginner's luck'!
3638  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] 1xbit.com withdrawal blocked (0.97 BTC locked) on: January 22, 2021, 06:28:02 PM
Man, I am so sorry for your loss.

It seems like lots of users have been experiencing other issues and this issue with 1xbit. It is just appalling to see that people are losing so much amount of money and the team is intentionally neglecting these concerns and reports. Is there any way to report such website for appropriate action? That amount of money OP can feed thousands of family here in my country and it is just really sad to see it being taken away selfishly.
3639  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Location of Bitcoin ATMs in the Philippines [will update from time to time] on: January 22, 2021, 05:23:30 PM
I'm really curious, meron na bang naka try and personally naka experience mag cash-out sa mga bitcoin ATMs dito sa Pilipinas? Curious ako kung kamusta yung transaction speed or kung parehas din ba siya kung paano ka mag cash out using our local wallets.

Pero it is good to know na continuous ang pag laganap ng mga bitcoin ATMs dito sa bansa. The more na dumadami mga ATMs dito, mas may chance din na lumaganap ang cryptocurrencies dito sa bansa natin.
3640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sales of bitcointalk account must be discouraged on: January 22, 2021, 11:47:46 AM
Not just discouraged but more importantly, prohibited.

Selling of bitcointalk accounts should be prohibited due to the several reasons you mentioned. Lots of sold accounts are subsequently banned, if not, applied negative trust so I really do not see the reason on why people purchase these accounts.

In addition, lots of forum members are constantly checking some accounts that are alleged to have been sold/bought. Nevertheless, I really do think that selling/purchasing of these accounts should be absolutely prohibited at all cost due to its destructive nature in the forum.
