2641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: December 11, 2021, 10:40:11 AM
In the end, it was an easy win for Carlsen (7.5 vs 3.5). Nepo made some blunders in 3 games and this has proven to be fatal for him. I did expect that Carlsen would retain his world title but couldn't really imagine that it would be so simple for him to do it.

Yes mate, I thought it will go down the wire or even a draw. But Carlsen took the advantage of every Nepo blunders in their game.

It was one of the lopsided match and it was a complete meltdown for Nepo.

So now, we have no doubt that we is the best chess player in the world in the last couple of years.

Carlsen really took his time to calculate everything when he had a winning position. Meanwhile, Nepo blitzed out moves in critical moments. Before c5, there was the option to play b4 instead of bxa3, but Nepo just instantly grabbed the pawn. He played c5 with some 50 mins on the clock vs 15 for Carlsen.

As someone who is a big fan of Magnus, I am personally saddened by the state of Nepo in the WC 2021. After game 6, he somehow went downhill especially that in yesterday's games, he blundered which gave Magnus a +4.6 advantage which he slowly raked through the game and converted it to a win!

Magnus retained his 5th WC title but props to Nepo for the brilliant games he played. He definitely challenged Magnus and put up a good fight but at the end, the champion still reigned.
2642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you lose interest to deposit and play more..., on: December 10, 2021, 10:35:51 PM
There is no such thing as perfect online casinos because of the many rules and conflicting laws on the location of their players, there will always be accusations some could be valid some because of misinterpretation of the TOS, so I'd to ask all gambling players do you lose interest to deposit and play on the casinos you're playing if they have unresolved cases.

Before someone gambles, it is essential that you read their TOS in order to avoid any further conflict and issues while playing. If you think that you do not agree with a certain rule mentioned in their TOS, I think it is best if you just avoid the gambling website than to push further- prevention is always better than cure.

As far as I know, the forum had already experienced some players who had issues with specific TOS of gambling websites but in the end, the latter won due to its aleatory contractual nature where they are bound with the agreements once the players agree to it.
2643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 06, 2021, 05:01:19 PM
I own different crypto and mostly I stake with them because I am interested in the long return. With bitcoin I am actually doing nothing. Can you suggest any strategies to make even a little APR? I know that I can't stake with bitcoin.

HODL is one of those strategies that will net you income for long-term purposes. Personally, I consider this strategy as one of the safest  and most effective in terms of earning cryptocurrencies hassle free. You just purchase bitcoins during the bear market and HODL it for long-term; you may cash it out depending on your goal or once it reaches the price that you are comfortable with.

Given by the fact that forks do happen, it is inevitable for the denominations of the release of BTC as a reward for miners be reduced. This results to its price increasing in the future which makes this strategy effective for long-term.
2644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice technique on: December 06, 2021, 04:44:00 PM
The game of dice has often been seen as the game of luck which makes many players depend on luck rather than developing skills that can aid their constant winning so am curious to know what are your collection of best dice techniques that have helped you in winning the game of dice.

A technique in dice games? This is something that I have not heard of since throwing the dice simply means relying purely on luck on the odds on what number it will fall on. I doubt that there are any specific techniques that a player might integrate into throwing a dice since everything is just purely on luck. Even if a person does have a technique, I doubt that it will change or be game-breaking to the point that he may be able to predict which number it would fall on.

Like what most people have mentioned, I do avoid dice games due to its reliance purely on luck.
2645  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: December 06, 2021, 04:04:55 PM
In 2021 to 2022
If learn and try to push yourself hard enough.you can be very rich.
Or very poor  2021 to 2022 people will decide who they want be.

By the 2024 everybody must have decidede are they super rich or very poor .

What will you choose ?

I think this applies to any investment that is available in the person. Every year, we make these conscious decisions that will either make or break our current income stream especially when you enter and consider various investment opportunities.

To give you a concrete example, the prices of cryptocurrencies crashed in the market. Though some saw this as a negative outcome, most see this as an investment opportunity to purchase more for long-term HODLing. Now, you decide whether you want to invest for long-term or aim towards a shorter end goal.
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: December 06, 2021, 06:26:18 AM
Game 8 was just heartbreaking for Nepo. I mean, I do understand that people blunder their moves but in this level of competition where the next World Champion title is at stake, blundering a pawn can really turn the tide of the battle. Unlike in game 2 where both players had the opportunity of having the winning advantage, game 8 is another story where someone blundered and the other capitalize on it.

Some mentioned that the commentators (e.g. Caruana, Ashley, etc.) were somehow harsh on the comments against Nepo but again, in this kind of competition, accuracy and patience are the winning key. With two (2) games down to Nepo, I do think that the title is decided already.
2647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $550,000 gambling on sports this month on: December 05, 2021, 05:59:23 PM
Man, I am so shocked that you managed to waver such huge amounts of money in online gambling. Though the risks that you made definitely paid-off, it begs my curiosity to ask you a question- what would you do in the event that you lost your wagered money? What would be your game or exit plan after such unfortunate event?

Anyways, I extend my congratulations to you since you definitely have the guts and the mental fortitude of a warrior in betting such amount of money. $550,000 can definitely change anyone's lives but I just want to give you my word of advice that you must still be careful in risking your money!

Hi, upon checking the website of the project, I noticed that it seemed to lack the documentations for it (e.g. whitepaper, litepaper, or a summary) that would support and explain further the goals of this project. In addition, I was somehow confused on the statement under your "team" page where you mentioned that: all participators are our team members. What do you mean by this statement?

If it is possible, please provide all the essential details for this project to further prove its genuineness. Thanks.

2649  Economy / Economics / Re: Transforming skill to profit. on: December 05, 2021, 05:05:31 PM
Please share personal episodes of how you, a skilled forum member has turned your skill to profit, so other forum members who are in between can benefit from your story.

Personally, I consider it more of an "experience" rather than "skill" as being a newbie on the cryptocurrency world definitely costed me a huge opportunity of earning more.

Last 2017 when I joined this forum, I was privileged enough to participate in dozens of campaign signatures. Since the price of 1 BTC was relatively low compared today, the pay-outs were given in huge denominations. Unfortunately, I cashed out majority of my BTCs on the same year. Upon checking my blockchain record, I saw that the total number of BTCs that I received on my wallet amounted to roughly ~$30,000.

That is why, I uphold the system of HODLing my BTCs for long-term gains. I was too hasty and young back then; though it was a costly lesson, it definitely taught me to be wary of my investments.
2650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bitcoin symbol going to be added to the keyboard? on: December 05, 2021, 04:56:46 PM
Adding the Bitcoin symbol to the keyboard will scream "ADOPTION". The question is where to put the key? I would suggest they replace the $ with the bitcoin symbol... just kidding. However, it gotta go somewhere, what do you think?

Like what @jackg mentioned, the symbol of BTC will most likely be adopted as an "emoji" in the keyboard depending on the operating system. I also doubt that by putting and implementing it on the keyboard that it will scream 'adoption' as you speak.

Though adding such into a keyboard will imply that technologies and businesses have adopted BTC into their system, this attempt will be futile especially that such businesses will put them at jeopardy if the country that they plan on adopting it fails to recognize cryptocurrencies as a whole. Such experience will only defeat its purpose, thereby losing resources to them.

An Indonesian youtuber offers a kind of advertisement for the online gambling site company 1XBET
Kazakhstan man won $2.000.000 on gambling site 1XBET.
1XBET and 1XBIT are the same company?

I not forcing you to watch the video.
below is a screenshot ~~ https://ibb.co/Bn7Pthn
What do you think?

Though I lack the understanding of the learning the language of Indonesia, I do think that 1XBET is not affiliated with 1XBIT, though the latter may have copied and rode the hype of the former to take advantage of such.

After some research, 1XBET was founded on 2011 while 1XBIT had numerous scam accusations against the company. But what @passwordnow mentioned, those two (2) gambling sites have a questionable reputation in the forum- so better avoid it if you plan on betting on those websites.

I agree with this.

2653  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: December 04, 2021, 10:27:23 PM
Is there any proof to show that Omicron already finds it way into USA? Cos all the news I've been hearing about this virus is in Africa, also I don't think this is why the market is down presently, there will be more crypto bans but best advice is to buy the dips, even el Salvador bought 150 BTC in this dip today
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/six-omicron-cases-reported-nebraska-marking-sixth-us-state-with-variant-2021-12-03/

This was literally the first thing that I have seen when I googled "omricon in usa" and nothing more. I am sure you could do a much better research if you want to, but it is clear that omricon is already in USA. We already have it here, and I am sure its spreading every nation in the world eventually.

The problem with finding new variants scary is the fact that we already have covid-19, which means that we already had this trouble before there was a new variant. So, we need to find a solution, a cure that would help us get better. What we can't really comprehend however is the fact that the vaccination does help with these new variants as well, sometimes even better, sometimes worse but still it is better to be vaccinated then not be vaccinated.

With vaccination numbers not growing because of eventually vaccinated all who want to and can't to those who are anti-vaxx, we are reaching to a level where we just need to wait it all get normal and fine, there isn't much we can do anymore.

I'm not sure that the new variant of the -omricon- virus is the cause of the current price drop
because the mutation of the covid-19 case did not only occur at the beginning of last year but did not make the price experience a correction that was too significant as it is now, or because the virus issue has been detected in the US but until now I have not found any news that causes concern that bitcoin will decline due to the spread of the virus omricon

I do think that one factor that must be considered is the time of the season. It is almost Christmas and I have a gut feeling that most people are withdrawing and cashing out their investments given the current circumstances of the world. In addition to the new variant, this also affected the price that led to most people liquidating their cryptocurrencies. I checked the price and almost all cryptos had their price dropped with an all-time low this year.

To be honest, this is a good opportunity for investors to purchase more for long-term HODL. Maximize profits by investing into this price in order to have your investments mature overtime.
2654  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how does it feel to get merit? on: December 04, 2021, 03:30:25 PM
How does it feel when you get merit for the first time?
is there someone willing to review the my post history?

I remember the first day when the merit system was implemented.

Unfortunately, lots of newbies (until now) complain of this system since this became a barrier for most people who wanted to rank-up. Personally, it was definitely a struggle to get my first merit. I used to comment constructive posts in megathreads and complain on why I do not receive any merit. Until I discovered that you should definitely reply something that is short, concise, but straight to the point.

Getting your first merit is like experiencing your first achievement. It boosts your confidence and it also motivates you to do better.
2655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 04, 2021, 06:48:14 AM
The game between the Suns and GSW was like redemption of the latter due to their loss on their first game. I do think that we have a brand new rivalry on the NBA- Suns vs GSW! I am so excited to see them compete neck-and-neck in the playoffs given their exceptional talents and skills as a team.

I would like to also point out that Curry had an off-night during his first game with the Suns that contributed to the loss. While other players on GSW stepped-up, Curry shot like 4/21 on the field but tonight's game is different. He showed that he can bounce back from this slight barrier and be a better player.
2656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: December 04, 2021, 12:35:34 AM
In my opinion, game 6 is definitely the best game yet in this WC tournament where we were able to witness both Magnus and Nepo missing the winning idea in their respective moves.

In the opening, Magnus dragged Nepo away from opening theory in which they just wanted to play pure chess. But around move 18, the former had his back against the wall on that queen exchange and Nepo just missed the winning idea of Bb2 which could have at least given him the advantage of being two pawns up.

This is also the longest game so far which lasted for 136 moves in which Magnus still tried winning the endgame. Nevertheless, it was an exciting match to see where it was a roller-coaster of emotions!

Game 7 ended fairly quickly especially that Nepo was with the white pieces this time. I was somehow expecting him to push harder and try a new opening in order to bounce back from his loss last night. Then again, we saw another Spanish opening by Nepo in which Magnus replied with similar moves which happened on Game 5.

Like what was mentioned on the commentary on chess24, do you guys think that the loss of Nepo in Game 6 substantially affected his confidence in the entire match? While I do understand that it is too early to conclude, but do you think that Nepo would be able to win a match against Magnus this WC?
2657  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature campaigns and taxation. on: December 02, 2021, 11:57:51 PM
I see so many people wearing signatures these days.
How do you state the cryptocurrency income from signature campaigns in your tax return? The tax authorities in Europe want to provide them with a document for the purchase of cryptocurrency, I guess it's the same for USA & Canada with the AML laws.

Currently in the Philippines, our BSP (Central Bank) has somehow remained silent over the implications of BTC and its transactions on the country. Though they are tolerating such transaction, I doubt that this will remain for long especially that its popularity is gaining massive attention throughout the years.

Ever since I started joining this forum last 2017, I have never faced any issues regarding any taxable amount to the earnings that I received. The only problem that I seemed to experience is withdrawing a huge amount in my local exchange and directly sending it to my bank account. Our local exchange had a history of flagging accounts due to 'suspicious activity.'
2658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STEP TO TAKE WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DELAYED BY AN ONLINE CASINO on: December 02, 2021, 11:45:01 PM
I played on casino site some days back and won a  certain amount of money, i was expecting to cash out my money instantly because one of the things that lured me to the site was the fact they offer instant payment. Its been days now and am yet to get my money. Please help what can i do in this case because i am becoming impatient
PS i forgot to add that they are requesting i fill KYC form and i didn't see this before i started playing.

I think your primary remedy is to file a ticket on the casino website if there are any issues regarding your payment.

If in the event that they fail respond or if you receive an unfavorable response, then you have the option of creating a thread here in the forum under the scam accusation board. Usually, some gambling websites have accounts here in the forum (since online gambling is heavily advertised here) and you may talk to their representative directly. If such representative does not have an account here, then I guess the only way to is to just wait and inform other users about your issue; pray that someone knows them.
2659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to accumulate more bitcoin other than buying with FIAT. on: December 02, 2021, 11:35:45 PM
How are people accumulating more bitcoin other than buying it with fiat?

I’m watching videos on Youtube and reading forums and i see a commonality of people saying to accumulate more bitcoin and not to day trade. But how does this work? Or are there other ways to grow your bitcoin portfolio? Can you explain a little bit in detail?

There are various of ways to earn BTC without purchasing it via fiat.

First, you may offer your services and skills for a consideration of BTC under the marketplace. Dozens of people have already created threads where they offered to do something in particular to an individual and the payment is through bitcoin. Another thing, you may also participate in campaign signatures where the payment is usually paid in BTC weekly.

In my opinion, I consider the 2nd method to be the most convenient way of earning but the only hindrance would be your forum rank.
2660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: December 01, 2021, 04:00:05 PM
Game 5 just ended and that was truly an intense match to watch!

The opening and middle game went in favor of Nepo where Magnus back was pushed against the wall. The preparation made by Nepo is just truly incredible but one tempo changed the outcome of the game when he moved his rook to D1 on move 21. That gave Magnus the opportunity to remove the white Bishop and liquidate the pieces which contributed to the attack.

The fact that Magnus withstood the immense pressure, with the black pieces and with the preparation of Nepo is a testament to his name.
