381  Economy / Economics / Re: How to developed your capital on: September 03, 2023, 11:44:27 PM
Capital can be developed through the effort we take to increase our savings avoiding the unwanted expenses. For now the best way I followed earlier is just set a target with some timeline. Within that I do the best avoiding unwanted expenses and reach the target. From that point I just use the capital into some investment. From the investment we'll get profit periodically and the same will be further developed as capital for further investment. Whenever we think about investment we should be good enough to limit ourselves from spending which lets us achieve our task earlier than calculated.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope is all I have left on: September 03, 2023, 11:38:13 PM
When bitcoin came to usage people ignored it. It was a free giveaway and people received it free and even to receive it people ignored. Did they thought bitcoin will be this high after years. Whether you trust or you hope, everything is secondary. You buy what is possible and leave it. Rest is history, if things happen good enjoy the benefits else just continue holding. Important thing don't let yourself down that you can't buy more. Keep on learning more and more about cryptocurrencies and you'll get opportunity to earn.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Half of the People in Turkey Now Own Crypto on: September 03, 2023, 11:33:03 PM
Interesting to see how people in Turkey are preferring Crypto over fiat to save themselves from the inflation.
Interesting? I mean, it depends how we want to see this news: if it's interesting because there is a country whose half population own crypto, then yes, it's pretty impressive; if it's interesting because people are buying crypto to protect themselves from inflation then I wouldn't say it's a surprise, it's just a natural consequence.
Well said. This has been happening with most of the country people. Understanding the goodness of bitcoin and making investment or buying it is different from buying/investing into bitcoin by situation. Turkey is a country that is suffering financial problems, and some decisions supportive to bitcoin usage needs to be appreciated. Because people have more other choice, yet they've got into cryptocurrency shows that people have well known about it and trust in it.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 02, 2023, 11:02:34 PM
This was definitely sad to see that this match ended in no results. I don’t know if you remember, but when the match started, there was already a rain interruption. From that time, I started thinking that this match might not have a result in the end.

After the fall of quick wickets at the start, India actually made a good score in the end. I think the match could have been really competitive. People are talking about Hardik Pandya, but people are not talking about Ishan Kishan enough. Both of them saved India from a bad and embarrassing situation. And I bet a lot of people are thinking that if this match was held in Pakistan, probably the match could have seen a result  Cheesy

Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya really saved the game for India. They have a partnership of over 138 runs in between and that made the game very much competitive. The target of 266 runs not easy to chase specially against Indian bowling lineup. We have to admit that Pakistan are not good chasers and if rain had not interrupted the game we could have seen a very intense match. Right now it's a win win situation for both teams.
Your point is correct. If the batting partnership of Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan had not lasted for a long duration then Indian team might not have been as successful in scoring 266 runs. If I am correct it was difficult for Indian team for scoring above 200 runs. Their partnership made match at intense level and it was only when match continued without being suspended or delay by rain that we could have seen who will win the match. Considering Pakistan's strong bowling performance one would have expected same batting performence to be impressive. If we look at their previous performance they had out the whole Nepal of team for almost 160 runs.
In the match against Nepal, Pakistan have set a target of 342/6 runs. When Nepal starts their innings it'll be with big pressure which is the thing that made Nepal loss all its wickets for 104 runs. India had batted first and the scoring got to move on the right track when players stand wicket. Much expected match ending without result is really bad. At the critical situation Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya did an awesome job, if not Pakistan's chance of chasing the target could've got easier.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A typical weekend in sport betting-Why do gamblers still do sport bets? on: September 02, 2023, 10:54:14 PM
What is the purpose of spending on slots and other casino games. Just on the hope of winning we make the bets and we don't know the outcome. Here we couldn't use our analytical skills. Everything is upon pure luck. With sports betting we can have hope based on the information we have got related to the match and the players into the game. In that way sports betting is fair than and gives with the better winning probability based on skills rather than spending based on luck. It is unfortunate that the favourite loss and the underdog winning the match. Such things happen and often sports betting people also try going against the odds which is a way to examine the luck.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 02, 2023, 10:48:22 PM
I would suggest to pay attention also in Arnaldi vs Norrie match live right now. The Italian guy is leading the match 2 set at 0.
in third set he has won one break point and he is leading the match 3-0.
Norrie was the strong favorite of the match... it would be interesting a come back (current odd @6.25).
The favourite of the match Cameron Norrie have lost to Matteo Arnaldi. From the beginning of the match Arnaldi was much focused on making more and more points. This had made him win the match on direct sets 6-3 6-4 6-3. Comeback performance is always good from Djokovic, but the odds never go down. If I'm not wrong he's confident in winning the match and to make the opponent happy he loses tgy first two sets. Djokovic's win against Laslo Djere lasted 5 sets 6-4 6-4 1-6 1-6 3-6.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go above $30,000? on: September 01, 2023, 11:59:53 PM
As of now the market is continuing to move on the bearish path. We should be ready to make the possible investment than thinking of whether the price will bump high or not. For now it is really hard to make a prediction on the price of bitcoin. Days back a bounce happened and the same is connected with the application X and now once again the market have begun to crawl downward. Maybe this can touch $20k or could move towards $30k, we need to be careful with our plans.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 01, 2023, 11:57:27 PM
Nope, thats Andy out! ah I kind of knew that was on the cards with an opponent as
good as Dimitrov.
Big surprise to see Andy out so soon in the US Open and to a familiar foe who he has played against many times and won many times than has lost. Old age may already be affecting Andy, who look like he has already seen his best days in the sport. It looks like the time for him to retire and give way for the other younger talents in the sports to take over. Andy is not the only big name in the sport to be knocked out, he joins Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud. Novak Djokovic moves to the next round and maybe he will win his 24th Grand Slam title.
Age is a big thing. Right now Djokovic alone keeps up his form and stamina overcoming injuries. Andy Murray quite often gets injured and makes a comeback. However he had been playing good in the lower series. He have got the never giveup mind that makes him continue to play amidst the difficulties. Earlier in the Canadian Open he walked over in the match against Jannik Sinner. The young players are really strong and aren't easy to win. In the past they lack experience, now it isn't the same.
Beyond certain age surely the players suffer injury quite often. Not everyone were able to maintain it in a much safer way same as what Djokovic does. The competence the young players were giving will easily tire the aged ones. Andy Murray could take rest announcing his retirement, if not he can spend time playing 250 masters were the competence won't be that big.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 31, 2023, 11:55:02 PM
I believe the Arab football industry is currently developing very well. Ronaldo's arrival brought media and sponsorship traction in and provided a huge flow of money. The latest news due to the arrival of Ronaldo and several big European stars makes SPL have income that has increased by 650%. Even today there are 140 countries that broadcast Arab League broadcasts. This is in contrast to 2022, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced an investment loss of US$11 billion.

Regarding the Saudi teams and Ronaldo, I can say Ronaldo and his team didn't have the good performance we were expecting to see from them in the latest games but according to the official page Twitter page of the Saudi League, Ronaldo is currently the best player of the month is this league.

Based on the performance as a team we can see Al-Nassr down, but on individual valuation Ronaldo stands on the top and the Twitter page poll is the real. In the support to the goals by Al-Nassr team and his personal goal counts were good in numbers. Today we've got the match of Al-Ittihad which tops the table and the leading contender for Al-Nassr based on the previous season.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: India just bought 1 million barrels of oil using rupees instead of USD on: August 31, 2023, 11:51:06 PM

The only reliable alternative as of now for US Dollar is gold. But then gold doesn't have enough liquidity or mobility to be used as a currency for international trade. With every other currency (including Euro, GBP, CNY or JPY), the same issues exist which are present with the US Dollar. My guess is that BRICS will never be able to get to an alternative for the USD. Each of the member nations want their own national currencies to replace the USD and to be used as an international trade currency. it will be difficult to get to a compromise deal that is acceptable to everyone.

The USD was the most needed one to India is my opinion,it may be the exact reason to buy the oil by using their fiat.India can easy print of their fiat,So it’s always easy compared to buy using their holding USD reserve.Mostly all the countries specially the developing country will do of hold the USD reserve for their future. The buying of the goods with rupees also increase the chance of new import to India by the way to spend their rupee which they get on the trad of oil.Surely it was good move by the Indian government. It can be used by some of other developing countries.
This might be good for India, but beyond certain point Russia couldn't do anything with the Indian rupee. It can only make trade with India, so this is just a temporary plan. When something is done from the traditional process it needs to make changes to the economy, if not it needs to make changes to the living of people. Nothing is happening with the move from India, because the fuel price haven't changed as the country is getting it on big discount.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: August 31, 2023, 11:31:11 PM
usually we spend money according to our prestige, this is what makes us stressed. If we only have enough money for one month, but instead want to buy luxury goods, we end up borrowing money from other people or even banks that charge interest, which makes us stressed. learning not to be prestige is the best way to manage money, I totally agree with the first point.

And that's why majority of us are poor, because we don't have the discipline to control our finances. We just want to buy luxury things that if you have to look at it, it's all nothing and we even don't know if we are going to used it or not.

That's why the OP has laid down some tips. I know it's very difficult to really control ourselves not to spend and buy things around. And so it takes a lot of mental discipline to not over expense and save enough money for the rainy days.
Thats true, to show off the status we keep spending on luxury things which isn't really necessary for us. Even with the spending on food we can limit ourselves. If we start eating what is necessary for the good functioning of our body, huge sum of money could be saved. What we do, we eat for taste rather than health and body need. In each and every activity of us we spend a portion unwanted and when we were able to control ourselves change happens. Once we've experienced the difference, further we won't go for unwanted spending and have the discipline in it.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not going to $12k. on: August 31, 2023, 11:25:41 PM
I was thinking it was going to be around $25k-$26k before the end of this month because it wasn't showing any sign of bumping but as of 2 days back it began to go up, just yesterday we saw how fast it went from $26k-$27k in 2-3hrs I suppose.
I haven't seen it move so fast, with all these happening it got me believe that it won't remain at $25k till the end of the month and it will never get close to $20k talkless of going down to $12k. And today's going to be another bump, who knows it might even get to $30k.

Fast up, of course, fast down, well, Sundays usually go down if I notice there is a lot of BTC selling, even with small amounts in the market during that time. but, I think it's reasonable. Yes. today's increase could be a healthy sign for the market going forward and up again BTC price to $50K if possible.

When the price increases, it only proves that there are more buy orders then sell orders. It also defies that the demand to accumulate Bitcoins among the users is increasing. So it’s always wise that when the price is down just accumulate as many coins as you can, and when the price goes up, just sell it to accumulate the max profit. This is followed by all of the traders. So don’t hope that Bitcoins will fall more down in price.
What you've said is the basic trading practice followed by the traders. This isn't for cryptocurrency alone, everywhere this is the same. Price movement of bitcoin is unpredictable. It could go down to any bottom point. In the past when the price was predicted to be around $5k it continued to move slowly and touched $20k+ and later the price touched around $3k when no one is expecting such a bottom. Even now we can't be sure of bitcoin reaching specific price and not lower based on some assumptions, reality could differ and we should be ready to handle situations.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: what a surprise dip on: August 31, 2023, 11:20:28 PM
You said 2020, back then also absolutely no one expected bitcoin could fall to 3k again. So it seems to me that you have to be prepared that it could happen again and the price will make a new bottom. I don't rule it out and I think that if it happens again, it will be a very good buying opportunity.
And taking advantage of that opportunity are also people who have known Bitcoin for a longer time and those who already know that it is the new low that they have seen before their eyes. Meanwhile, people who are just entering the market or at least new to Bitcoin will still have doubts about buying because they think that it is a fairly expensive price. Unless these new people have done a little research into the prices that have occurred on Bitcoin over the years, making them immediately feel brave enough to take advantage of new lows as their opportunity to buy more.
For users who had experienced massive price crash this isn't a big move in the market. For users who see it for the first time doesn't understand whether to buy it or wait for the market to go more bearish. Most of the time users who had missed opportunities in the past tries to make investment through the DCA technique whenever there is atleast some 10% drop in the price. This doesn't affect the profiting much and preparing for the worst market unlike the real market condition helps them overcome any kind of market move.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Constant wins in the casino for several days, then constant losses. Noticed?! on: August 30, 2023, 11:59:39 PM
Playing for many years, I observe a certain series of wins and losses. It looks like it every time! Also in casino chats, a lot of people talk about it.

Most of the time the casino takes the money. But when the winning session comes, on this day many slots give you a solid win, it is impossible to lose. This successful session can last several days.
As soon as this ends, absolutely all slots begin to take money.

How do you win and lose?

This a usual scenario and situation for any gambler. It really happened in most cases.

Personally, I ended up many times in that situation but that's how gambling works and just accept the result.
With gambling we shouldn't expect anything. We should be ready to spend as if we're spending on some entertainment. If thats possible, then you can enjoy gambling. If not, this isn't for you. As said this kind of win/loss could've happened with every gamblers. As said this is the pattern or process by which gambling works, if not the gambling platforms could go bankrupt.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: August 30, 2023, 11:58:50 PM
food price have been rising ever since covid-19 hits, and it seems the inflation didn't even try to gets reduced meanwhile covid-19 already gone.
you just know what it means, it means that some people are having their best day of life getting that additional profits and they're not stopping.
this is the thing with many commodities, they always seek every opportunity to increase their price, even pandemic, then they just never go down or hardly go down.
thats why their price always increase every year and really high at that, i guess things will just get worse from here. the only way is to get more income.
During the COVID lockdown itself there is big rise in the food price, and during those days it wasn't that big as people got shut within their homes. Here other expenses were limited which didn't make the food price a big issue. Now everything have begun to run normally and the additional expenses make it look big. Then onwards people will get used to it and some sort of self cultivation will be the choice to overcome the increasing food price.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 29, 2023, 11:56:06 PM
Two T20 matches gonna be played for the day. One is between Australia and South, other one between England and New Zealand. The odds were in favour of Australia and England, but there will be competence and change in results could happen. After a long good matches to watch. Same as other sports the Red Card usage on T20 matches have come into usage and recently Red Card have been issued in a match. What you think of the incident, whether it is fair to use???
Red card in cricket; Kieron Pollard sends off Sunil Narine in CPL 2023 T20 match
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 28, 2023, 05:43:20 PM
There is no clear favorite in the upcoming Asia Cup which makes it more exciting.
I think this time Asia Cup might turn into a blockbuster contest.

Pakistan is in top form despite a couple of fuckups. India looking good after Bumrah's comeback and mix up with new guys in the squad. Bangladesh defeated India in the last ODI series so they are alright too. Sri Lanka also not looking that bad, The only drawback would be an absence of inform Hasaranga as he got injured i suppose. Weaker link would be Afghanistan but they can beat anyone on their day and we can expect some sort of fightback from them, not counting Nepal atm.
Maybe you are right in your statics, but I have completely different view about this because recently we have no improvement in few teams from Asia like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and now Afghanistan even they are going down in quality with batting with recent series against Pakistan give us all story of Afghani batting how unpredictable and poor they are in shots selections with they need to work on field as well because this is also big disappointment for them, I watch they drop many dolly catches as well.

Bangladesh is also having crises, and they will be also not good as we need them after long time and just read about Sri Lanka they are also facing some issues while their few players are out with injuries and other problems then again we have left only two teams India and Pakistan which can do good, but upset is possible as we have last time in the UAE as it is beauty of this game while we are having this in Asia.
Your words are 100% logical, Bangladesh team has very little chance of performing well in the Asia Cup. Liton Das, an important player of the Bangladesh team, is unable to participate in this Asia Cup due to his physical problems. Liton Das is a good quality batsman. Bangladesh team will be far behind in terms of these batsmen. However, the captain of the Bangladesh team, Shakibul Hasan, is optimistic that the Bangladesh team will be the champion in this year's Asia Cup
Litton Das is one among the best in the batting line-up for Bangladesh. Other than his presence the team have got other batting performers who had played well in recent matches. Shanto, Hridoy, Mehidy Hasand and Shakib Al Hasan. In my view Bangladesh will give good fight against every team. Mostly the lack of consistency can be seen with the team as very few players were able to contribute in a stable way.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? on: August 28, 2023, 04:22:36 PM
What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? Will you give up all your investments and get out of crypto because of this ? Or do you you have even more broader horizon and can wait longer to see the next bull run ?

If that was to happen and we won't see a new ATH in the next decade, Bitcoin's ability as a store of value would be questionable.
But it kind of depends on what do you mean. We might never see another bull run (meaning a sharp increase in price) but we might see e.g. Bitcoin moving up slowly and gradually, not making anyone a millionaire overnight, but beating up inflation rates (i.e. becoming something similar to gold). Such scenario would probably be better for Bitcoin than the bull-run cycles, although it would attract a different type of investors.
There won't be any new ath in the price, but it is possible to see good number of people using it. There is a huge user base that have avoided bitcoin, just because the price is volatile. When the market of bitcoin is stable, those who had been waiting for the market need to make use of the present.

More countries would legalise bitcoin in the future, however the market being run over the demand to supply the acceptance mind among common people will increase. For majority of the people they never understand what is bitcoin. First education and then teaching about the market moves were the best to make a person know about the value of Market being volatile.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 28, 2023, 04:01:24 PM
The match between Abha and Al Feiha is being played. During the 36th minute goal came for Abha from Toko Ekambi. Half time over and Abha leads the match 1-0. Both the teams are in the 7th and 8th position on the points table. Based on the head to head matches played, Al Feiha have won twice, Abha have won in a match and 3 matches have ended in draw. In the first half Abha have well positioned its lead and we can expect this to be winning match for Abha.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Electric Supply to Bitcoin Mining Operations in Laos on: August 28, 2023, 02:37:58 PM
Laos is a small nation that is located in the South Eastern part of Asia. The percentage bitcoin mining compared to the rest of the world is very minimal. Country that is much dependent on hydropower and unable to meet the necessity due to the shortage of water resources and limiting the supply to bitcoin mining operations is not a big issue and this doesn't affect the market.
