381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID GAMES TOKEN CRASHES on: November 04, 2021, 08:10:10 PM
it's not the last time when someone uses hype to create token and take money from investors. if people give their money so easily scammers will try again and again.
It's just because he trusts anyone he sees too much, so the gift is also solely because of his belief and trust in everyone so that scammers really like this for the sake of using it to take other people's money.

It's not like that. It's not about trusting anyone or anything.
It's about making money as quickly as possible and getting rich overnight. You see how these tokens like safemoon, safesun, shiborg inu, akita inu, shiba inu, and the list goes on, continue to rise from their least and have the (unexpected, temporary) potential to rise due to which people fall for these shit-meme tokens. I'd never advice anyone to invest more than 1-5% of their capital in these coins as they're all like Chinese items, if works, will run till the moon, else will die in the evening.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are panic buying right now! on: November 04, 2021, 07:44:55 PM
@OP, it wasn't panic buying but IMHO a counter move by one institution to beat another institution's short. BTC was going high so quick that it needed a correction because there were very big order blocks with lots of liquidity available downside, due to which they took the liquidity and in a very small timeframe, other institutions broke their silence in driving the price back to a new ATH. Correction is a part of everything, nothing can go straight up or straight down.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Making the most from this bull run. on: November 04, 2021, 07:23:19 PM
metaverse project and NFT is making good run lately mabye we can consider them for get profit in this bull run or optional investment.
I am currently considering some coins to increase my investment and will not left behind in the next few months to withdraw some profits.

what do you think about memes coin, are you interested this time?

Metaverse is absolutely a very new term for those who have never heard it, but it had been in the making since AI was introduced and virtual gaming robotics was being given priority.
It is absolutely blood pumping for the newbies who are learning this new technology and it is also helping many projects boom hard. But FYI, I'd also like to add a caution here that I personally invested in some projects and even after doing complete in-depth research about them, some of them (the so-called Metaverse projects) turned scam. Some ran away with the money, some sold off badly (squid game was the recent example) and some didn't deliver anything due to which the investors dumped their tokens. So be very very careful when investing in these projects and only invest what you can afford to lose as during this bull run, the number of scammers has gone way higher and so is the number of scam projects.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID GAMES TOKEN CRASHES on: November 03, 2021, 11:45:00 PM
I was asked by a colleague to invest in that coin so to make a "fortune" out of it. I said "no" because I was skeptical about it from the very beginning and thought it'd be better to say away. With all the hype surrounded, I even came to know that they were mostly able to "buy only" and couldn't sell their coins at pancakeswap which means the team either locked the selling part and only allowed the users to buy after which they pulled the rug and investors' minds got their bells rung, but till then, it was way too late as the devs who were making excuses like "they wanted to save the project from scammers" and blah blah blah just did their part and stole millions of dollars from the investors who blindly invested under the effect of hype.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coins that are more expensive than gold on: November 03, 2021, 11:33:48 PM
@OP, did you go insane when you tried to compare Gold to these coins? I mean, Gold has its own place and it is touchable, a worthy asset due to its scarcity and though it's not performing well, it can only be compared to things like Palladium, Platinum, Silver, Copper, etc. because they all fit under the same category Gold comes from, i.e.; Metal. And even if we talk about the marketcaps, Gold is ten times that of Bitcoins and even if BTC takes over, both of them can't be compared due to the fact that BTC is a volatile asset that can only be held digitally but the same is not the scene with Gold aa it can be possessed and worn, liquified, hardened, shaped, etc. In short, comparison of these two asset classes is not possible.
386  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: November 03, 2021, 11:19:48 PM
It's been a long time not sharing my gambling activities on Chips.gg Cheesy
recently I'm really feeling something fun on HackSaw provider, after several times getting some nice wins on several gambling platforms, Today I tried my luck on Chips.gg and yeah I got a nice win on Stack 'Em by HackSaw provider, replay is here: https://replay.hacksawgaming.com/?roundid=362382472&partner=620&language=en

--snip image -- https://i.ibb.co/nj4jwt7/hacksaw.png

Hey roycilik,
I really enjoyed watching your session over here man. What an epic win that was with such a small bet, you've got super luck with yourself, a phenomenal one I must say. Wink
Have been trying my luck on slots since few days but never got lucky to get even a 100x and watching some of you guys doing so great with these games is making me a bit jealous.  Cheesy

My local exchange is also has converted a system for small amount of crypto to their token native, so is actually help for us to drain out a small balance into one currency and get good amount of money.

Now that you have said this, I kinda remember that binance also has similar feature to convert small / dust amount of crypto into bnb. Probably its a good feature to have at chips but in this case dust amount would be converted to chips but atm chips doesnt have any value yet  Undecided so it might not be possible to implement it at the moment

Why don't they either knock the doors of an exchange with these chips tokens? Or can't they give these tokens some "value" themselves as it is their native one? It would then not need the gamblers to look for options outside.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: November 03, 2021, 06:56:26 PM
Mining can be profitable only when you can afford a place where you get cheap to zero cost electricity (try to go green by using solar electricity as well). Even with low number of equipment in your rig or a single miner, you still can profit if you are a part of a pool because then only will you be able to generate anything out of it as you won't be able to produce a full Bitcoin block with that small sized rig anytime soon.

Holding is risky as well, but it depends on what you are holding and when you entered. If you bought BTC at $45k and sold at $30k after holding for a long time and even saw $65k in between, then that's the type of risk you must conquer. You are also at risk if BTC never manages to get back to the current prices (hardly possible but who knows), and if you choose a shitcoin just by "keeping up with the Joneses", you'll definitely lose more even after holding it for a long time.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with leverage on: October 30, 2021, 08:46:28 PM
Leveraging out the markets is definitely not an easy thing to conquer (and can never be). The most important thing that comes to my mind when I leverage trade is that, I must keep my mind under control and not to lose confidence that my trade will go in profits if it's in loss already, because then, either I'll add more margin or increase the leverage, then remove the margin and then add more USDT in the position that I took out. Leverage trading is no less than gambling IMHO (or call it dice in other words with the odds being selected here as leverage).

Patience and control over yourself, keeping leverage to limited and understanding the highly volatile nature of markets, using some part of the capital and not going all in, even if not tight - stops must be there and even a TP.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice against plako or slot on: October 30, 2021, 08:32:05 PM
Thats why we are seeing lots of type of games in the market because it does basically means that there is indeed a demand with those games and it just turns out or just pretty obvious that demand on dice is way higher than with other games but well it is true that this is
truly mattering about users or peoples preference because there are things which do entertain us the most which isnt really that interesting
on other people which simply means that its a matter of choice and interest of someone.

TBH, if you carefully check out, almost all games of a type are the same (for example, Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Blackjack VIP, etc.) And it applies to other games like Bacarrat and Roulette as well. The only difference here is that, there are some minor changes made to the minimum and maximum bet values needed on those tables each. Though, there are some other live games including poker, wheel of fortune, and many which give us a breeze when played because most of them are different from each other and we see something new there.

Now to the OP, I hate dice and plinko both. I just love Blackjack. Wink
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Willy Woo: Bitcoin ‘Almost Certainly’ Reaching Six-Figures in H1 2022 on: October 30, 2021, 08:08:33 PM
Institutions are taking great advantage of all the collectible BTC they get whenever a correction takes place. With MicroStrategy adding additional 9k BTC stash to their treasury during Q3 alone, I believe these institutions are highly optimistic about the future of BTC and are not here just for the sake of their monetary benefits. If such accumulations will continue like this, a 6 figure won't be an issue for BTC as when it can get over $65k again after breaking back under $29k, anything is possible for BTC to achieve.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Converting Neteller/Skrill to BTC? on: October 30, 2021, 07:14:45 PM
I don't know much about Neteller, but I've personally used Skrill and would warn you against their cheap tactics at charging you very high fees whole you transact there. It's better to find a forex site, use Neteller/Skrill to deposit there, then deposit through Bitcoins and then withdraw all using BTC. You must first ask and confirm this with their customer support whether they allow withdrawals in crypto or not? If they do, do they allow complete withdrawal of whatever is available on your account or you will only get it proportional to your deposit types.

And I guess your thread belongs to "Exchanges" section.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas? on: October 30, 2021, 06:58:16 PM
TBH mate, I don't think you'll see a price hike on Christmas as I've generally seen people selling out their BTC during this fest. Though, the market sentiments are very much pointing towards bullish trend continuing its way till a few more months and even some indicators such as exchange to wallet ratios, btc supply available in exchanges to be way less than before and institutions not looking in the mood to sell their BTC but are actually stacking up more in their bags.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Making the most from this bull run. on: October 30, 2021, 05:39:38 PM
I went through palle11's thread - Don't lose your profit unnecessarily
I thought I must create another thread to share on what do I think about the next 2 months in crypto as well as what to do to get out with maximum profits once we end up trading this bull run.

I believe that these 2 months are going to be extremely bullish for mass crypto, thanks to mass adoption, institutions which are diversifying their investments as well as media and especially Governments of those countries that have thought and regulated or are in talks of regulating crypto in their respective countries.

If you believe in a project and you know it's microcap and has a lot of potential, don't just give up on it once you see 2-3x. I've got an example for you here, know about Bloktopia?
I'm not endorsing about it but it gave more than 250x to its investors till now and still not stopping. Who knows you may also land on a coin that may give you a life changing opportunity? When you buy a coin and if it doubles in price, simply take our your capital and let the whole profits be in play. Who knows what your destiny will fetch you?

I also invested in PinkPanda and was in 20x profits but waited for longer and didn't sell, so my profits halved. Then I bought O3 and it dumped which is why I'm also on my journey to making something huge this year.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: October 30, 2021, 05:11:49 PM
You are right that profits once gone are lost and those profits as well as that time won't be back again. Whatever comes will be the future profits and the past profits once lost can't be justified. I take 50% profits plus the capital, and let the remaining profits run - that's my way to keep the trade going and even if I lose a bit in the trade, I'm ultimately the winner because I already took out my capital and some part of the profits. I support your thoughts on taking out profits on time so not to regret later.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BITSLER.COM , Sent Over 300$ USD / Huobi: Heco-Peg USDTHECO Token To Bitsler.... on: October 30, 2021, 04:54:45 PM
I just read your reply properly and through out. Bitsler is proper big online crypto casino. With loads of customers and I even think it is legal and regulated OR AM I WRONG? All proper regulated and legit business should do the best for their customers. Because shit happens... Also the thing is that they can get the coins whenever they actually need them and they arent like they got no money. They could just cover it as its still in their wallet which is in their posession. I got a bit confused when you said ''You gotta be nice to them and soft'' Im nice and soft to my daughter because shes only 6. But this is a big gambling business , no one should ever have to beg and should get best support possible from sites like bitsler and others.

The fact (or the problem) here is that, it's nobody's fault, but your mistake which caused you to land in this situation, else why would you be talking about bitsler's support?

Be it your daughter or any professional business, you must be knowing that if you want to get your work done (like asking your daughter to sit calm or asking this big business), you need to cherish them with some love and care. Seriously, nobody is asking you to get into their shoes, just stay calm because it's your money and you committed a mistake. And I hope you won't repeat this in future taking this as a lesson.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to the price when all the bitcoins are mined? on: October 30, 2021, 04:13:47 PM
If BTC continues to establish its place between all those high valued stocks and even goes beyond gold and other valuables, I believe the demand will definitely skyrocket considering the limited number being reached and then, if people get used to this, then BTC will definitely make unbelievably new highs we can't even think of (maybe even Satoshi's dream comes true).
These are all hypothetical statements and will vary based on a biased mindset about this question because if it doesn't go like we believe, then BTC will not be worth what it's now and be dumped. Here, we all are just speculators and crypto works more on beliefs than money.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins economic growth is enormous in India | Amazing Future ahead on: October 29, 2021, 10:44:05 PM
The growth of crypto in India completely depends upon the type of regulations the government and their set of crypto monitoring committee brings. If they are too stiff in their regulations, Indian exchanges might face a problem and as jackg said, may flee from here and sit with their business somewhere else. Same belongs to the citizens of India who'll either stop using crypto by the fear of losing their money just the way they did when RBI gave ultimatum to everyone to simply close their crypto dealings and leave it asap. There might be more than 100 million users of crypto in India, but there is no real number that can justify that how many of these 100 million users are active investors or are trading in crypto currently.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Nigeria to finally launch Enaira today on: October 29, 2021, 10:04:50 PM
The best cause I see for CBDCs is that, usage of cash i.e.; paper money will be very much reduced which will save enough paper as well as environment too as trees and various other resources used in the making of these paper money will now be relieved. This will help us fight global warming that's killing the temperature everywhere due to nature being played by human for his own benefits. I believe this should have happened way before already but thanks to crypto that opened the eyes of sleeping banking systems and governments, people are now seeing a change in their old traditional banking system and services. Now Nigerians will go digital as this eNaira will help a lot of people understand what is digital money, which will also help crypto for more adoption.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders always learn to leave when the ovation is loudest on: October 29, 2021, 09:47:05 PM
@OP, I see the opposite of it, not for a day trader but for a long time hodler. It's like we see waves working in trading and crypto also experiences the same in terms of price spikes. When a 200% is seen, a day trader would normally be much happier and quickly square up his position and take out his profits as well as capital, but a wise trader would either let the whole position run or just remove 50% of the total (which means 100% capital after reaching 200%) and make the profits become the capital, let the position run till the reach of the vision of that wise trader goes.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest issue with Bitcoin wallets? on: October 29, 2021, 09:17:50 PM
1. What are the features that you feel that are sorely missing?

I believe these wallets must provide us 2FA facilities like phone call, sms, Google Authenticator, etc. to make the security very tight.

Quote
2. What are your biggest issues with specific wallets you're using, or with BTC/cryptocurrency wallets as a whole?

Some wallets change addresses constantly and I believe it's good, but to some extent where people like us need a single address to be shared, it is not something I'd prefer. Yeah definitely it helps maintain privacy, but come on, are we really that private anymore?

Quote
3. What's your favourite wallet and why? Is it the user interface / user experience, colours, specific functionality, habit, perceived trustworthiness, something else?

Electrum, it's a habit to use it and I'd call it an extremely simple and sober way to get known to crypto in a simplest way, so I use it.

Quote
4. What changes would you like to see with the wallet(s) that you're using?

I'd like Electrum to give an in-built exchange (through a third party exchanger) be made available so not to let me send coins to an exchange and waste my money on fees, but charge their commissions and let me trade inside.
