Sometimes you haiku.
Other times your ass gets haiku'ed.
Regardless, I hodl.

Pfiou. I'm more of a small tits kind of guy but she wears them well!

Alas, I need 100k BTC to just get 'invited' to a party where there are enough 'rich guys' to even have such 'fantasy women' show up!..sure...

I still would not have a shot..but..hey, at least then someone looking like her might 'talk to me'.

Whereas now, if I was to approach to ask directions, w/o such a party invite, I'd get maced and arrested for 'stalking' or some such. (sheesh)

Anyway, little steps BTC Hoard/HODL...little steps....soon! Smiley

damn, looked in the mirror that is a sh*t load of BTC at a 100k price tag and the odds are still long! Sad

worth site may be saying this..unless it is just broken..they usually are pretty reliable...will 'trudge' along and dig into this..pandemic and all another excuse

Just a heads up today is 9/13/2020 and seems my 300mh Baikal cube at least at 8c kWh USD is making over $50 a month again profit. WTH?

Here is the link:

just for some Bakail folk or other units... seems to be x13 and x15 are the algo's unsure of coins yet

not sure if it will last ..but for what it is worth

A spanking new banking paradigm has been unveiled

Money needs no longer to keep people in chains.

J'accuse!

Them's not Bankers! (or I need to bank somewhere else!)

So sad. Sad My view of Bankers would 'brighten' considerably.....indeed!

ROFL !!! ... Tomorrow I will go buy and make my own! <3

But what happens if you lose 1 or the order of them? Smiley ... I guess its a guessing game then... Cheesy Cheesy ... but meh... U probably wouldn't use that in case some kind of house burning accident or something. Cheesy Cheesy

I would 'number' like a1,a2,a3 per washer along with the BTC private key digit or some such or some other method also on each washer as well..in case they got 'scattered'

just saying.

How I look at BTC/Crypto 'each day' to keep 'somewhat sane' Smiley

1) BTC/Crypto is going to dump to 1/2 its value, of the particular day you are doing this mental exercise in HODL mode.

(I don't think, at this point in time, after 11 years it is more than that is likely to drop less than 50% in value after 11 years of real-world use)

Thus, meeting worldwide maximum adoption in the world. (likely mostly majority of use in under-developed countries) and mass adoption being met,

will from then on be acting like a 'traditional investment' and gain...say 2% per year into the future, from then on. Sad

2)BTC/Crypto  is going to 'stay' at its current value, (of the particular day you do this mental exercise in HODL mode) thus meeting worldwide maximum adoption

in the world. (likely mostly undeveloped countries, for the majority of use again) and maximum adoption being met..will from then on be acting

like a 'traditional investment' and gain no more than 2% per year into the future per year in value, from then on. Sad

3) BTC/Crypto will go up 8x/16x/32x as it has done several times since 2009 when it was invented...and mass adoption will be widespread worldwide and

not just a 'niche' adoption, like in the above to mental choices of 1 and 2 above Smiley

Anyway, how it plays in my mind, day by day, in HODL mode of BTC/Crypto/Altcoins, etc, etc. Smiley

Then again, I am HOLD'ing by 'some people view' magical beanie baby fantasy $$$ so WTH do I know Smiley

387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FILECOIN, biggest ico ever! on: September 09, 2020, 05:57:55 PM
I just saw that thread title and i remembered the ico back then with 200 M raised.
I didn't hear anything since then from Filecoin but it seems they are coming closer to a launch now and filecoin futures are already traded.
Personally i would never invest in an Ico that wants to raise such a huge amount of money.
It's just not needed for a software company and probably just means, that there is heavy selling pressure at the listing date.

This is exactly what i was referring. They have a catchy website along with catchy whitepaper and promo that help them in raising capital. But result so far is zero probably they have proposed something that they are not able to develop.
You can take example of MASS, they have proposed which is attractive and team can deliver the product well on time. Always invest in such projects

What the ****, this ico is still unable to launch there product. That's too late now and I dont think this will ever be able to launch.

Can you share details of this MASS token like wts its price and how to mine this ?

Makes no diff to me in the USA we are not allowed to buy into any ICO coin. Sad I wonder how much risk there would be for using VPN to pull this off....naw...

not worth the effort/risk me thinks on this or any other ICO coin.

Is it true that Charlie Lee sold all the Ltc in 2017?

yep
and I bet you bought them!
evidently he did not believe in the project. how do you see ltc in the short/ medium term?

LTC mimblewimble available on testnet soon.

The only reason I am HODL'ing the last of my LTC...I suspect, with setbacks, this may hit Litecoin Core in around Fall 2021.

Brad
Sometimes I like to remember history and philosophy: In Italy there was a philosopher, such Gianbattista Vico, who spoke of history repeating itself. Ltc went up to $ 150 several times, it might come back.

not w/o  more innovation in the coin IMHO, look at defi..you may not like them...but damn they have active and large development from the get go..unlike LTC

currently..that is what is lacking. Sad

Well I have written several times that anything above 10k is not sustainable. I know that I will get Negative reactions again but I will probably still be writing this the next few years.

Glad somebody else see the obvious writing on the wall.

If things go to sh*t further my view is 9K BTC and related crypto altcoin prices and gold going sideways...and thus will do so for years...

I am assuming that the stock market will eventually reflect reality...thus not big on a future of around 0% on bonds and 25% dump in value or more on the stock portfolio

I can't see BTC/crypt NOT acting like gold in such a recession/depression environment, also due to the use of BTC/crypto internationally which will be even more 'dire' than

the USA and again BTC/crypto IMHO at worst sideways in price like gold as a hedge against all this

anyway...that is my bet..the real problem is the 10% unemployment rate which may never come back to less than that for years..robotics, work at home more do' able

now...it is gonna be ugly no matter who wins the white house

anyway, I'm living off (and will adjust) my stocks/stay out of debt/ and next year more $$$ from soc security....so I can afford to 'speculate' on BTC/crypto

But I state this now if Trump gets re-elected I'm gonna up my timeline (of the old nursing home and all my crap gets sold and out of the house in 20 years..

.as they drag me away...kicking screaming to the Nursing Home...so why not pull the plug on all my crap sooner? Just go

and play 'millennial' and sell the house/crap/ and just rent 20 years early...and travel.....I'm not gonna stick around the shitstorm of society that is gonna

happen if Trump gets re-elected..it will be a nightmare enough if/hopefully folks elected to whatever office act in an adult bi-partisan manner to fix this cluster**ck!

...might be the time to take a page from the young folks and get rid of all/most of my crap/house and travel...of course, I probably should do this

now ..but pretty sure .. I'd get off the fence and do above promptly on a Trump re-election. Sad

Life might be a lot better just traveling about the world from bed and breakfast

to bed and breakfast (they have waffles!) a few months at a time in exotic faraway places...watching another 4 years of this Trump Sh*tshow of 'bad management' as

best I could describe such has lost its charm indeed!

anyway why I will HODL....not like I see a lot of really fun choices....and seems silly to put ALL my assets into the stock market and the coming economy

thus HODL'ing as my Go-To Hell plan...big whoop...no change in lifestyle..sh*t on a stick ...let it ride! Smiley

From my calculations (please check)

There are more Siacoin mined a month than the entire BTC made up to this point in time.

Why am I in HODL mode with Siacoin?

Brad

Because Sia is a utility token and is meant to be spent and used within the network at a much higher levels then Bitcoin. Sia has recently introduces some cool projects like Skynet, so I can't wait to see where it takes us.

So as soon as the 'tokens' are released for the SkyNet project in real-world use, you are essentially, with the SC out in the world so far and SC mining at about 1.5 billion

SC a year...suddenly 'poof' the SC is worthless at such actions? (kinda/sorta)? How can anyone 'justify' the current SC price if such is going on?

I mean really? Why am I in HODL mode I ask again? A whale 'sneezes' and sells and the Siacoin is 'basically' worthless on such a dump?

Because Sia is a utility token and is meant to be spent and used within the network at a much higher levels then Bitcoin. Sia has recently introduces some cool projects like Skynet, so I can't wait to see where it takes us.

Of course, if the Sia team manages to implement their plans, this will lead to an explosive increase in the price of this coin.

I don't see this. If all these coins are 'suddenly' sold for use in the real world application above, they have to be worth a heck of a lot less per coin.

or, hell, what am I missing here?

Gotta be more than 2 pizzas, Searing. I have just set the floor market for Fujicoin :-)

Well, it took ONE FRIGGING YEAR of my asking what my 10 million is worth....at least you made a 'floor' on such for 2 Pizza price.

Brad

So what did the stash finally sell for?

I got offered $50 but I think it was from some kid overseas who was gonna say to his newbie friends...' Hey, I got a deal for you! 150,000 FJC for $100.'..or some such...

look at www.coinmarketcap.com and what it is worth..what a deal! That is the trouble with FJC and other Sh*tcoins..like FJC no development

besides 'bitcoin core-updates' since 2014 and at 7 sats..the lowest the exchange will show is that my $10,000,000 FJC is worth at BTC of $13,370.00 USD

my FCJ according to the free site option www.cointracker.io is worth $1,337.00 USD. This is because exchanges no longer dump Sh*tcoins.

So the FJC is un-sellable..unless you want to move it in the manner that I suspect on why I was offered $50.00 for this worthless Fujicoin hoard. Smiley

Gee, who'd a 'thunk' it? I have some 'ethics' it seems!

edit: by the by if use free cointracker site above to show FJC is worthless you have to manually add FJC then sell it and at least you can show your

dead coins on such as being ZERO...as a way to keep track of such. Also, Cointracker above assumes that you only had like ONE crypto address in your

lifetime to figure taxes from. NO way to input, real taxes from mining, etc say on tthe site manually...the free option IMHO is OK...but the paid you get

screwed with very little for $14 a month more than the free option. Otherwise, the site is OK for watching paper wallets if you take 'a grain of salt' on how

legit Bitcoin Forks are in price and Sh*tcoins like FJC. Smiley

Sorry, set-up as an estate...thus needs more than me to get it out of the bank vault Smiley Again, that boat has sailed...anyone can google me in the past and see I have BTC...

Crypto millionaires are becoming more and more every year and this is exactly what should happen.

yep...years ago you needed 1,000 BTC to be a Millionaire. Now around 100 BTC, so I'm hoping for around $20k BTC and then that will be reduced to 50 BTC Smiley

398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millionaires: % of BTC Owned by 100 BTC and above. Achieving BTC Millionaire! on: August 25, 2020, 08:42:42 PM
People who are holding more than 100btc will not go on the internet saying they are such holders, if you expose someone with more than 100btc he will become a target to the hackers, that's why is important to have a low profile, will fewer peoples know who are the real holders is more secure for them.

I think only the Winklevoss twins go screaming everywhere how millionaire they are... But is not the smartest move.

399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millionaires: % of BTC Owned by 100 BTC and above. Achieveing Millionaire! on: August 25, 2020, 07:45:18 PM
Below is a link to the % of Bitcoin owned by addresses and what it takes to be a millionaire in Bitcoin. This is from Bitinfocharts.

An address does not equal an identity, one person can own many addresses, and multiple persons can "own" a single address - like when exchanges hold coins for many people, but consolidate them into a few addresses. I own more than 1 BTC, but I never owned even close to 1 BTC in one output.

If you want to study distribution of coins, you either have to be an exchange, so you can know how much coins are hodled or withdrawn, or you need to make a high quality poll - not simply on this forum or other social media, but with proper scientific method to remove all biases.

Edited a poll for those who give a damn or not..myself..not so much. Smiley (Hard to run a BTC group w/o saying you have BTC) Smiley

By the By, I found the 61.46% quite high for addresses with over 100 BTC, just as an aside. Smiley
