401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: August 28, 2023, 02:07:15 PM
Once I got an opportunity to play a fixed match. Through some signal providers I received the confirmed odds. I don't know how those signal providers got it. Maybe this could be a coincidence. Believing in them I just placed small amount around $10. End of the match it was a winning bet and I wasn't able to believe it is an insider information. So, I never go for big money into such assured bets, because we're believing someone without reason.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the transfers to the Saudi league become a problem for European football? on: August 28, 2023, 02:01:01 PM
This is just a transition happening between two parts of the world. Europe is dominant for football and now the East Asian part have been working hard to improve its position in football. This at any cost doesn't affect the importance of the European League or its popularity. These are the Leagues that have developed the popular stars of football. Now they might've moved to other clubs for various reasons. This could improve football in other parts of the world. Creates opportunity for the emergence of new players who could be tomorrow's Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar. The transfer between teams could never be a problem, this is going to be relaxation for European teams that were suffering financial problems.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 28, 2023, 12:59:32 PM
Gambling can bring great revenue to the governments but I don't see any benefits to the societies,in fact it can only bring really bad things, like in the country where I live from some years where at a certain time a lot of people became addicted in the sense that they could not stay without gambling and they were spending money they could not afford to lose like money they get for food and other important money. At a certain point the government intervened and ban all of the offline gambling while letting only online ones,a few to play,so I don't see any other benefits except taxes to the government while for society can have more harm than benefit.
Gambling is able to generate revenue for many countries where gambling is legal but not for all countries.  Because in the country where a gambling is conducted gamblers lose when they gamble. then the money goes to that country.  People from all over the world gamble especially in online casinos. So the money of different countries goes to that country. It may play an important role for that country but not for the society. Gambling perversely destroys a society.
What you mentioned is true, but the same doesn't contribute to the economy. The real flow is towards the respective gambling platform, being legal in specific countries get a revenue out of the taxation. Specific countries give access to the registration of gambling platforms and gives support from registered trustworthy authorities and games providers. The only good out of gambling happens to the lucky ones. In terms of contribution to the economy in recent years it have turned as a billion dollar industry.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: August 27, 2023, 11:59:23 PM
It is always the do or die thought that makes you end up with empty wallet. When you gamble you'll experience win/loss. When it is winning, automatically we get ethusiastic and try to keep it safe. When we're on the losing side, our minds will think of chasing the loss. This is where we loss control and unable to recover back the lost amount. On such stance my mind goes with increasing the bet value and the same mostly ends with losing the amount completely.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting btc of tuitions payments for College/students? on: August 27, 2023, 11:56:53 PM
Already there were institutions and universities that accept tuition fee in the form of bitcoin. Maybe after years we'll be able to see it in a more common way as an additional payment choice for every students. Acceptance of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were really a great thing considering the future growth. Everything have turned digital and everywhere the dependence on digitization will make bitcoin a more accessible payment with time.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to invest in bitcoin on: August 27, 2023, 11:31:31 PM
There is no specific time on which bitcoin invest needs to be done. Everytime is good for investment, all that need to be considered is the affordability and the time period one can hold. For now it is good time to invest considering the upcoming halving and the downturn in the market. However the patience is the one that pays off with the profit. Rather than regretting later it is good to make use of the opportunity investing with the smallest amount possible.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 26, 2023, 06:47:33 PM
I have no idea why anyone would bet on Afghanistan even though the odds on them were pretty high. I bet on Pakistan and won though the odds were on the lower side, but it was a pretty easy bet.

Pakistan are an inconsistent team for sure, but Afghanistan are even more inconsistent than them. Mujeeb was fantastic towards the end though I didn't expect him to get himself out via hit-wicket.

Rashid's bad form with the bat is one of the primary reasons why Afghanistan kept losing again and again.
As said the inconsistency is found high with Afghanistan team than Pakistan team. This makes gamblers to go with the odds on Pakistan than Afghanistan. Another reason Afghanistan is not that good in chasing, they're good in defending.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman at the tail end gave an awesome contribution and at some point my mind started to think of Mujeeb Ur Rahman to score a century. His bad luck, lost his wicket on hit wicket. Rashid Khan's performance is another reason, but he is good at T20 than ODI.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: August 26, 2023, 04:59:33 AM
~
No government will allow this game to be played. But in many places such games are conducted. If we look at the game of wrestling, there is a scripted game. But still sometimes I get news of some accidents and there is no script written in the game of these animals. Both animals are likely to be harmed in a fight. That's why even though this game is popular, it is not supported by the government. Others consider it a form of animal abuse. But behind the scenes this game is still quite popular. But I have no idea whether this game is run on any casino platform or not.
Cockfight is popular in specific countries, few of which were Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Southeast Asian part. Thailand have got the best fighting rooster and gambling arenas. Every form of gamble that got the involvement of animals will have opposition from the blue cross and other animal support authority. Most of the countries have cockfight as illegal, but it persists and people continue to gamble on it. As said no platform host/conduct events online with cryptocurrency acceptance.

Pakistan vs Afghanistan

So today is the third and the last ODI match. As all of you know that Pakistan already won the series with 2-0. And I think that today Pakistan will win the match. And Pakistan will win the series with 3-0. And Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah will show their power today. So let's see who will win? Smiley
The final match would've got more expectation if Afghanistan have won the previous match. In such situation both the teams could've won one match each and today's match could've been the decider. Based on what you've said, for Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah to show their power toss needs to be won by Pakistan. Afghanistan gave an unexpected competence in the last match, and this time anything could happen. Anyhow I don't think this to be a one sided match.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 26, 2023, 04:17:57 AM
How come you even asked this question? Please forgive me but this is kind of a stupid question. A gambling site is for gambling. It is not a savings account. If you don't have plans to gamble, then your money shouldn't be there.

Deposits in gambling accounts are seldom allowed to be withdrawn without ever making a bet. That's against many gambling sites' ToS. Another point to consider is that inactive accounts in gambling sites are usually locked and deposits frozen. Dormancy has a cost not just in the banks but also in gambling sites. Worse, it could be seized.
These days gambling sites are completely centralized. Holding/Saving bitcoin in gambling sites is really risk involved, because we're depending on third party to have our holdings is not fair. Gambling sites were dedicatedly developed for gambling, so if your plan is to gamble then having funds in the gambling site is good.

As said gambling sites always have their own terms and conditions. Some prefer to withdraw when required, but the same isn't possible as gambling sites have certain wagering requirements to be fulfilled. In between many gambling platforms have gone bankruptcy and some have stopped their services in between. These all things need to be considered when you make a deposit on gambling site for the purpose of saving.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 25, 2023, 11:49:31 PM
Both Lehecka and Korda are getting back into form in this tournament. We will see someone in the final from them the only thing that is worrying for them if they are gonna be ready for Us open next week . I think Korda can reach the final and maybe even win the entire tournament.

The next match would have been between Lehecka and Korda. Unfortunately, Korda had to cancel it because he got an ankle injury in the quarterfinal against Gaquet. So Lehecka is in the final and will play against Coric or Baez.
Hopefully Korda will be fit again for the US Open. It would be a shame otherwise, because as you wrote, he is slowly getting back into form.

I have seen this happening with a lot of players. The players are definitely in some kind of trouble when they face any kind of injury.  And it is definitely a big problem for them. They are just starting to get into form. A player can definitely lose his good form because of injuries. But this is definitely a good news for Lehecka. He is getting a free win because of this. It is still not decided who he is going to face in the finals. But he is definitely going to take the free win.
The walkover from Korda have confirmed the win of Lehecka into the finals. The second semi final is the only match left in the ATP Winston -Salem. Coric is termed to be the favourite against the player Baez, and this is going to be the first encounter between the two players. For the finals it is going to be Coric, lets wait for the end result and sometimes match will be a fighting than one sided.
The match between Coric and Baez have begun and Baez have won the first set 6-3 and leads the second set 3-1 which means the higher chance of winning is with Baez. Everyone were predicting it to be a final between Coric and Lehecka, now it looks different. Baez have taken medical timeout which is unexpected and this could be advantageous for Coric.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 25, 2023, 07:28:46 PM
Ronaldo have come up with his contribution. In the 38th minute Ronaldo have scored a goal on the open net. First half of the match have come to an end. Al-Nassr leads 2-0 and based on the statistics Al-Nassr is at its best in ball possession. Based on the shots on the target and the corners played Al-Nassr could've scored atleast 4 or 5 goals.
You can say that this is an important match for Al Nassr, considering that Al Nassr has so far not gotten any points. And again this will be the first point for Al Nassr in this season in SPL. Yes, that's right, Ronaldo was the difference in this match. The first goal was scored by Sadio Mane, as well as beautiful assists from Ronaldo and Cristiano Ronaldo's header goal, making AL Nassr 0-2 in the first half.

My prediction is that Al Nassr will add another goal in the second half, seeing from the statistics of the first half, Al Nassr has 70% of the ball with three shots on target and nine shots off target. This proves that Al Nassr has mastered this game.
As predicted one more goal have got added to Al-Nassr. Once again the goal have come from Ronaldo at the 55th minute. This time the goal have come with the support from Brozovic and Ghareeb. A perfect goal on the open net as Brozovic makes a long ball to Ghareeb and he sends it to Ronaldo who makes it a goal. The goat is back to form.

Two other matches were played parallel to the Al-Nassr vs Al-Fateh match. One is between Al-Shabab and Damac, other one between Al-Taawoun and Abha. Both the matches were without any goals.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 25, 2023, 06:37:36 PM

In a few moments we will watch the match between Al-Fateh against Al-Nassr and in this match Ronaldo and his friends must steal 3 points if they want to get their first victory in the saudi league competition. In the last 5 meetings between the two, Al-Nassr really dominated with 4 wins and 1 draw. It's clear that even if it's an away game for Al-Nassr they can definitely win it. Apart from that, if we look at the confirmed formations from Al-Nassr there are the names Otavio and Laporte who are Al-Nassr's new recruits and this will mark their debut. I don't think Al-Nassr needs to win big in this match, they just need to win 0-2 to be very safe to get full points.
Al-Nassr have got good line-up, but they're not at their best over the past two matches. Sadio Mané have made the first goal for Al-Nassr and this could be the first win for Al-Nassr. The expectation on Al-Nassr is high and I'm sure Al-Fateh is a strong fightback one. The team that is predicted to be the top contender along with the Al-Ittihad is now trailing on the points table. Ronaldo is at his best, and the defeat on the first two matches is a complete disappointment.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: August 24, 2023, 11:29:51 PM
~
I'm rooting for Pragg to win a game against Magnus, but given that he (Magnus) hadn't won the title yet, he's pretty much prepared to take this win and seal the deal.
Personally i would like to see Praggnanandhaa winning the tournament, he is the youngest player from India to reach the Chess World Cup final and hopefully he win win considering he has defeated Magnus Carlsen when he was just 16, the first two matches went for a draw and tomorrow's match will crown the winner and it is going to be a time control game.
That was much expected, but this time he lost the match against the great Magnus Carlsen and secured ticket to the FIDE candidates tournament. In the tie breaker Magnus Carlsen is dominant and Praggnanandhaa can feel good as he had beaten world's leading Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana to reach the finals. A boy who looks like the next door guy making the entire country look his moves is really great.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 24, 2023, 11:11:09 PM
I would like to take into consideration four levels of contribution in a match by a star player, and hope to see from everyone's opinion how their contribution would go to affect the outcome, odds of a game and the bet after the game is concluded. These four levels include:
*playing part of a match,
*playing a full match,
*being substituted out and
*being substituted in.

No star player is agreeably just a placebo effect on any team, and unlike Ronaldo and Messi who have influenced their new teams to attain new feats, they are expected to perform excellent service in the positions they are signed for and nothing less of that.
I don't think this is just for the star players but the team also is very important in a match making one odd to be bigger than the other that is mostly depending on the past matches. If a big team is playing with a small team then we expected the odd of the big team to be lesser than that of the small team. The small team is always given a bigger odds making them to put more effort to there winning. Most time when it's obvious that the big team will beat the small team, they are always given  small odds to complete.
The teams performance is much considered, however if a star player is in the squad the odds will surely have small difference from the regular odds. As said it is true that the leading team will have smaller odd against the trailing team. However if there is a star player the trailing team will also have better odds. This we can see with most of the sports. To know the difference we need to watch the odds variation on live betting.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Stay Safe and Avoid Scams When Gambling Online on: August 24, 2023, 11:06:42 PM
Find a trusted gambling platform. Big number of gambling sites were available. It have become an easy task to choose the reputed and the trusted one that provides good number of games. Whenever you enter the platform it is good to look the Url to confirm that you're into the right destination. Go through the terms and conditions and play accordingly. Know your limits if you doesn't want KYC. Don't use VPN and gamble which may land you in risk as the platform doesn't support gambling from specific locations and the usage of VPN.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 23, 2023, 11:42:19 PM
Big disappointment at the Caribbean Premier League. Out of the 6 matches so far, 4 got washed out. Today's match is between Jamaica Tallawahs and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and there is a good chance that this one will also get washed out. I was looking forward to see Brandon King, Imad Wasim and Dewald Brevis in action today, but weather forecast is not that favorable. We can't blame the organizers as well. The franchise T20 league calendar is packed and they are being forced to move their schedule every now and then.
The match have begun and SKN Patriots were in trouble as they've lost 4 wickets scoring 50 runs in 7 overs. Caribbean Premier League is one among the most watched T20 league. For Jamaica Tallawahs Salman Irshad have taken 3 wickets. Ambati Rayudu who had been match changer for CSK is in Jamaica Tallawahs and in this match he had walked back without any runs.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't wait for the bottom without buying in the Dip. on: August 23, 2023, 11:35:58 PM
No user or market analyst is able to predict the precise outcome of the match. Everything is some sort of assumption, coincidence, comparison with the previous year's price movement. Everything is on a cyclic process, so it is good to have a target set for buying rather than waiting for the bottom price. This could end up missing the opportunity to invest/buy at a better price.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to verify license Numbers? on: August 22, 2023, 11:50:41 AM
Most of the gamblers look for the trustworthy functioning of the platform. Everyone look for a licence to operate and rest is much concerned on how the platform operates. Every platform used to have its licence and other authorities to which the platform have registered on the bottom of the homepage. Earlier gamblers have never thought of these licence and all. Later the license details on the platform and getting enrolled particular authorities gave the platform more value and it becomes a trust sign.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 22, 2023, 11:39:01 AM
It would have been better if Pakistan batted and bowled instead of batting because they are already in a lot of trouble. Pakistan have already lost 3 wickets which put them under a lot of pressure especially with Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan not at the crease, Pakistan team is under more pressure. Pakistan are not scoring too many runs today, Afghanistan bowlers are bowling very well and Pakistan are under good pressure. Although there are wickets in hand here, if Pakistan can improve their batting, runs will be possible. The two batsmen at the crease at the moment Agha Salman and Imam-ul-Haq will not be under too much pressure if their partnership holds up. Right now Pakistan have lost 3 wickets and scored 54 runs in 13 overs, Pakistan should have scored more runs but not due to poor batting performance.

LOL.. nothing seems to be going well for Pakistan. They lost their 4th wicket. 16 overs have been completed, and already their top order is back in pavilion (Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Agha Salman). Opener Imam-ul-Haq is still at the crease along with Iftikhar Ahmed. Mujeeb Ur Rahman has taken 2 wickets, while Rashid Khan took the wicket of Agha Salman with his third ball. Pakistan is struggling against Afghan spinners. And they have a really long tail, with Usama Mir batting at no.8.
Pakistan have lost their 5th wicket and they're in complete struggle. The runrate is found to be 4rpo and Pakistan have scored 112 runs in 28 overs. Imam-ul-Haq is at 45* runs and vice captain Shadab Khan have come to the crease. Pakistan could've thought of making good target and for that reason chosen to bat first. Afghanistan previously won the ODI series against Bangladesh and lost the T20 series. Maybe this time Afghanistan could win the ODI series against Pakistan.
