No one watches Floyd exhibition matches specially for boxing fans here. I mean we wanted the real deal, not this kind of fights. And now that he fights John Gotti an then turn it into circus, as in basketball, both benches are empty and went against each other.
Probably yeah, as both continue to talk even even the ring. And I do agree that it's a disgrace to boxing inside, we don't want to see this kind of attack with their supporters or body guards. But then again, this is not a professional fight so what do you expect? As least for the majority of boxers, they trash talk but at the end of the fight they hug and shows respect whoever wins.
Well, if there are sponsors and there is a fight, to begin with, there are still some people who want to witness those fights, but yeah boxing fans here surely want a real deal but the Fiasco will surely make it public and into the news and it surely spread like wildfire, for this isn't this real deal enough, for me exhibition fights are just like boxing with some added rules in there, but it surely looks real enough, but yeah no wants really taking exhibition match more seriously, Lol! Same here. There are a lot of events every weekend and also some interesting stuff to do that even non-title fights in boxing are not my priority anymore so there's a small chance that I'll be watching fake or scripted or not exhibition games. I did see some of the highlights as it will also show up on my social media feeds. Floyd Mayweather fought in a nearly empty arena in the UK prior to this fight so they need drama. I just read that Gotti is now suspended for 6 months which is actually nonsense. 2 months of rest, 1 month of negotiation for a rematch, and then 2+ months of training and that's it. That's fewer months than many UFC fighters are waiting on standby to be given a fight.  Yup! What he's done attacking Mayweather even though the fight is over have surely made him suspended from some boxing matches, for 6 months but for sure 6 months is just a little time or it is just like taking a rest for him, that is why he was really pissed off that he taken the fight to a brawl, this could surely goes public and Mayweather just wants a highlight in his fight and so he has gotten the highlight he wants, |

I really love watching MMA and also boxing which is why when I have seen this thread it came to mind to look into it, and so I have seen the Bellator 297 event and I think I would make my prediction for the main and co-main events, here are my thoughts
Vadim Nemkov vs Yoel Romero
This fight is for the Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Championships and for this fight, the odds are 1.15 for Nemkov and 4.70 for Romero for this fight Yoel Romero moving to incredible weight from his former Middleweight division this is an interesting fight to watch Yoel Romero surely have the durability back in the UFC days and he was never knocked out by any way Robert Whittaker having a hard time with Romero's durability even Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa didn't manage to KO win against him, the only KO lost he has was back in the strikeforce when he fought Rafael Cavalcante, but surely Vadim Nemkov will have a hard time with Romero but if Vadim Nemkov would go directly with wrestling which is the weakness of Yoel Romero then he can go with the Submission win for this so my pick is Vadim Nemkov,
Sergio Pettis vs Patricio Pitbull
Another former UFC fighter and this fight is for the Bellator MMA Bantamweight Championship for this fight, the odds are 2.47 for Pettis and 1.48 for Pitbull, now Sergio Pettis has a great record in the Bellator, and right now it is 5 consecutive fights pretty much Sergio Pettis is good at boxing striking he got a great fight IQ in the standing while Pitbull pretty much has a solid record with his takedowns, for this fight Pettis also has a submission win but the level of Wresting for Patricio Pitbull is really vast for sure for me Patricio Pitbull could go with the wrestling in the start of the fight he will pull this in the ground so my pick is Patricio Pitbull winning this fight,

Yeah, I can say that Gotti is a sore loser. He couldn't even throw punches when Floyd was attacking him, probably getting frustrated and seizing the opportunity to attack Floyd when the referee stopped the fight. Gotti was no match for Floyd's quickness, even with Floyd's age disadvantage. I'm not sure if it was part of the script, but if it was, then I would say they were successful, as people were talking about the fight afterward.

It's interesting that Tim has been on a get busy fight as he is waiting for the Charlo match-up. So another tune up fight for him and I will not be surprised if he can score a shut out win or dominate Ocampo here or win via knockout as he is also capable of doing that.
Anyhow, I haven't heard about Charlo though, although he said that he is ready for June. But I doubt it, seems that the injury will take time to heal as expected. Of course when everything has settled down and he is ready, they might still have a chance to salvage this fight for this year. Maybe December might be a good schedule for them.

I don’t think Tyler Herro makes a difference either way. They’re playing in Denver so they’ve got altitude and the home crowd working against them. Yup! There is no available player for the Miami Heat that could play one on one with the Joker, that is why the tactic of Erik Spoelstra was to let Nikola Jokic shoot and the Miami Heat will not try to defend any of his shots while stopping Jamal Murray completely, because they can not stop Jokic for sure, I have seen Nikola Jokic really was a genius he is the one who is making plays for the team and if he is passing the team is really winning, that crucial pass and his eye on the court was real crucial play for the Denver Nuggets, It is obvious that Denver has the big advantage nobody questions that and maybe Miami will not pull a Cavs and win this series, BUT that doesn't mean that they need to lose the next game. They could still make it 3-2 and then lose 4-2 as well and when you are betting that's all that matters.
I feel like there weren't all that many people who said Denver would be the champions this year, not zero but not a lot neither so it is still a question mark if they will get the next game but whoever ends up winning the eventual season long bet, that will be a good one. I hope that it goes on until the 7th game to be fair, even if Denver wins it at 7th game and not much changes, it would still be fun to watch that, but unfortunately I can't see that happening this series to be fair.

Surprisingly the result of today match is upsetting with Talon sweeping Team Liquid while the other 3 is just a draw. I will bet same as yours if I will be on your shoe since the match up based on the stats should be on the heavy favorite.
Talon is pretty strong on this tournament for having draw on Tundra and Secret while sweeping Team Liquid. I think avoiding Team Liquid bets for now is a must since they always struggling during the early days of the group stage. They will just come back when they are on the brink of elimination same with OG.
That is really upsetting. I never expected Team Liquid to lose against Talon. They have been performing really well prior to this tournament. They lost yesterday but I thought they could recover today against Talon. Maybe I should stop betting for a while and wait until the group stage is over. It is easier to bet when the bracket is already set. Lots of games happening at the same time. I'm following just a few that I am interested in. The way they are playing right now, they are not competitive enough to win in the Last Chance qualifier. Unless they make another good find like they did last year finding Reso at the last minute. But I do not think that will happen again. It was just good luck they found reso in Riyadh masters and immediately had a good chemistry with the team.
I have the same thoughts on Team Secret, and coincidentally they're going through the same process and took in a new offlaner recently. They need to pull off a massive improvement here in Dreamleague before we give them a chance because the other good teams like OG, Entity, and Quest are more qualified to take these spots. Well, they found Reso in Riyadh Masters, so they still have at least two tournaments to figure themselves out and find good teammates. If they fail, then I think that will be the time we can conclude that they will not not survive the last chance qualifier. Since it is extra hard to qualify through points, there are lots of good teams that will be playing for the last chance qualifier. Their chance to survive LCQ is very low. Anyway, that is still long way to go, so maybe they will get lucky again. Who knows. Betting on the draws is tempting as most of the series in Group A of the DreamLeague have gone to a draw after the first day.  We'll probably see more teams split maps until the end since it's all about avoiding sweeps and getting at least the top 4 at the end of the first group stage. Hopefully, that is not true today. I bet mostly on the favorites to win in the matches later and just a draw between Team Spirit and Evil Geniuses. I think the matches later will be mostly one-sided so I picked the favorites to win.  |

From start to finish the Connecticut Sun was on the lead but I can not say that it was a very one-sided game because the score is likely just close for me it was a close game but the Atlanta Dream seems can not make a lead for this game against the Connecticut Sun, and it was a team effort and the Connecticut Sun just got a beautiful spread towards the game leading player was Brionna Jones with 18 points,
Indiana Fever vs Phoenix Mercury - WIN
Close game the Indiana Fever was on the lead at 1st and I really thought that they can win this game for sure but the Mercury just turn the tables around for sure it was a close game for these two teams, lead player for the Fever is NaLyssa Smith with a double-double of 12 rebounds and 29 points but the Phoenix Mercury has gotten the lead and it was because of the lead of Brittney Griner of 29 points,

Although again, I might see the scoring of the judges as somewhat dubious, it was a like 9-3 rounds for me, as Lopez almost clearly won all the rounds for me. But two judges saw it very close though, 115-113 for Teo. Anyhow, it's already a win for him and this is his second weight class to be a champion.

I watched their fight and indeed Teofimo Lopez won by unanimous points over Josh Taylor.
I also saw that his punching speed and fighting IQ were very good, even Josh Taylor seemed very overwhelmed by Teofimo Lopez's punches.

There's only a very small chance that the Miami Heat will come back, but even if they lose in the finals again, they have still done a great job to reach this far. Miami could potentially pull off an upset in game 5, and if they win game 6, then who knows, we might have a thrilling game 7. I understand that it is unlikely to happen, but as they say, the series is not over until the Nuggets have secured 4 wins.
There is very little chance that the game will go back to Miami on Thursday. The Nuggets will not take their chances and let the championship slip away from their home court. They will definitely try to finish the series on Monday night in their home. Some mischance might happen if they let it go to game 6. Once the series reaches game 7, it is anybody's ball game. I am curious about what will be the adjustments on the side of the Miami Heat. They cannot stop the duo from scoring and outplaying their defense. Will they switch to offensive since they cannot stop the Nuggets anyway and just try to outscore them? The only reason they won game 2 was because they had a good scoring night. Maybe they can do that. Try to limit the duo of Jamal and Nikola but also try to outscore them. Their outside shooters should perform well in order for this to be successful. I don't care about embid getting mvp this year, jokic is definitely the best player in the NBA today. He doesn't have a bad game in him. Because of his iq and willingness to play team ball he is almost unstoppable. I think Miami has to double him and tighten in given the 3 point shot open and just hope Denver goes cold. If they play the way they have been playing them it's over.
It is hard to go cold if you have Jokic setting up the play. The cutters are having a picnic against the Miami since they know wherever they are in the court, Jokic will see them and the assist will come. You are right, the map took the full series. Both teams lost their map picks, Vertigo and Mirage. They are quite on equal footing in Inferno in the first half but when Heroic is on T-side, they really outrun Vitality. Vitality has no response to the strategy of Heroic and their defense totally collapsed. Heroic just gave up 2 rounds in the second half. Congratulations to Heroic for finally winning this season. They deserve this win. They were always coming short this season ending in the Semis or coming short in the finals. But this time, they finally lift the trophy. Congratulations to Cadian for revitalizing his career. For me , I would watch Secret games as I still believe they have a chance to get Last Chance qualifiers TI and maybe they will catch that last spot.

She is getting old though which she deserves a good win before retiring. And if I were in her position, I would also do the same. Retire while she is not yet getting the consecutive loss. It would be embarrassing to wait for that time to come.

Yes, that opportunity to climb and challenge the current champ of 122lbs should be prioritized instead of letting his belt be unstripped and now after that incident, he moved up, he's trying to establish his name in this new division. Maybe if, by chance, and fans force the situation to let him and Inoue face each other, maybe if the price is right, promoters will negotiate and allow these two to share the same ring and prove who's better from one another.
It is really a good thing that they have given a chance to Casimero, and I really wish he would stop his antics in doing something illegal in the future of his fights, and because I really want to see a Naoya Inoue VS John Riel Casimero fight in the future that is why I really think if this continues and he keeps on climbing up the ladder we could really see it in no time,
Casimero had been doing his best to create controversy between him and Inoue so that the officiating body will take notice but it seems his action is futile since it looks like it did not create any sense of priority to the boxing authority.
Casimero can just make his way to the top rank in order to make the boxing official notice him as one of the worthy opponents of Naoya Inoue. The moment Casimero was stripped of his title made the possibility of him facing Inoue slim. Unless he made himself to the top rank, I do not think he will have the opportunity to face Inoue especially if Inoue won the fight against Fulton.

Imperial team which are sponsored by Sportsbet.io are really doing great in BLAST Premier now. Their ranking on HLTV is 33rd but still they are having a really solid tournament among teams with much better rankings. I loved their smart ninja defuse in the G2 series as well by the way. There was a really impressive teamwork there and they deserve to be in the semi finals now as well in my opinion.
They have been fighting really well against Heroic so far. But here we are on Nuke again. Imperial couldn't beat G2 on this map despite that great ninja defuse. Right now they are 5-3 behind Heroic as well but let's see. But even if we see Imperial being eliminated they have still done a really good work so far. I appreciate it.
They did great. It was one hell of a round. Imperial was standing their ground, forcing an overtime against Heroic in Nuke. They were down 8 rounds, 7-15 in favor of heroic. It was amazing they were able to win 8 straight rounds. In a moment there I thought Imperial was taking it all the way to the Finals. But Cadian came back to life and took command in overtime and eventually beating Imperial 19-17. On the other match of semi finals, Vitality (2-1) won against G2. G2 won the first map which is Anubis but they got stamped in the second map which was Inferno. In Nuke, G2 was standing their ground on the first half but they were totally stamped in the second when Vitality is on CT side. It will be an exciting game later in the Finals between Heroic and Vitality. I am betting on Heroic to win Blast Premier Spring Finals 2023. |
