4021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 67,1% of micro businesses do not know what cryptocurrencies are. on: January 13, 2020, 01:42:33 PM
~
Most of the cryptocurrencies have most volatile nature and it does not make them suitable to start accepting as a method of payment for most of the sellers who would want a stable source of payment. of course there are some stable coins too which can be altered to use as a payment method similar to USDT as the price for USDT always remains constant as of the American US dollar so it might give an ease to the shopkeepers to accept USDT payments.

Yet, they fear for doing so because most of those might not even be trusting any such digital currencies. Micro businesses actually are owned by some average financial life individuals and they might not find it suitable to risk their money into the digital coins which are not of much use for them.

This is exactly what's in my mind already.
Those merchants as well as companies aren't sure yet whether they can handle such volatility or not. They could somehow make the payments be converted already to their local currency if they would like to avoid the unstable price pretty much the same way as how credit/debit cards complete a transaction.
4022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: January 13, 2020, 01:36:20 PM
This is gonna be a perfect time to have some ethereum while the price of it is low. You can gain profit into it if you bought it now while the price of it is cheaper. Only sell your ethereum if the price of it is higher than you have bought it. So in that case, you will be able to gain profit. Plus the fact that ethereum is on the top 2 spot in terms of market condition which makes it trustable to invest to.

Well, price is still at dip right now, and it's expected that this year we will see a bullish market and that would surely include ETH to have a good run.
The probably of profit and lose if we buy at the current price favors the profit due to the price is already very cheap and hype is coming for btc halving and ETH 2.0, that two is big enough to help price of altcoins and BTC recover.

Bitcoin just had a bit of a bull run, and from that I think that ETH could follow up in any time now. Its 2.0 should launch around this year now from what I've read recently as from the devs.
Depending on how the feature of 2.0 would have, it might have more increase in price than BTC.

4024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a bullish sign as halving approaches? on: January 12, 2020, 06:40:29 PM
We'll just cross the bridge when we get there. This year 2020 has just began and many more happenings to expect to. Its a promising year and we always hope for the best to happen. We'll just wait and see and prepare to whatever it can bring. As long as we have something to look forward to, all others are bonus.

Btc is bound to reach the highest price of at least 6 digits the only thing we dont know is when. 2020 maybe a great year for cryptocurrency because as you said there's a lot of good things to look forward to including the good news and the btc halving coming up on may all of these are bringing good impact to the market price. For sure there will be another great run for btc this year.

If that is to happen this 2020, I think people will probably be late again to see the market increase in bitcoin, allot of us focuses on short term gain, and I observe even to my friends that instead of a long term hodling, they prefer to sell the bitcoins they have just with the short and small price increase which I find not the best move from the reasons we need to take into considerations just like the bitcoin halving. I do really think that the tension to really matter for a short trade though what is more important are the long term trade that will give us the best profits.
I can't say that they really want to get their gains already, like hodling for the long-term earnings isn't applicable at this moment. Many people would be tired of waiting for another bull run to happen so we can't expect them to just sit around and wait.
As for me, I'll just continue to hodl though.
4025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 12, 2020, 05:57:09 PM
Why not, OP?
Don't let it be just a "feeling" and start finding a job already. You might not want to spend one-third of your life just staring at the computer.
You need something to enjoy at and relax. You should be earning while enjoying life at the same time.
4026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: free advertising for btc? on: January 12, 2020, 05:46:38 PM
Have you ever heard a show discussing bitcoin in their segment good or bad, i think this shows that we are already going in the real world for good and there will be no stopping us, even if trump, colbert, and buffet try to contradict what crypto really is , this is really a good sign, since this show in national TV will make people curious about bitcoin, i hope there will be more of this here is the link and see for yourself
https://www.newsbtc.com/2020/01/12/late-night-host-exposed-millions-bitcoin/

Every exposure will make a significant impact to the bitcoin therefore the more the exposure the more the bitcoin will become popular and the demand will continue to surge. Any TV channel that is talking about crypto currencies or bitcoin will bring a good audience especially if it covered a huge variety of crowd like the national TV.

Curiosity will bring the new comers to the world of crypto so we need to welcome them with all of our efforts so they will continue to invest in crypto and not just visit then leave afterwards. We are unstoppable especially if we unite even if there are few that are against us.

Demand will surely go upwards but not all the time, as what we can see to other countries that banned it. I haven't heard any crypto-related yet in my local TV shows but I quite remember the news then when Bitcoin was attempted to be explained in Ellen D. Show.  Grin
I must say that it depends on the host if we can't expect increase of demands, because some might badmouth it in front of the audience.
4027  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: January 12, 2020, 05:42:00 PM
Just believe in yourself, don't trust anyone even to the most popular person like McAfee. Especially when it comes to cryptocurrency, there is no exact prediction in everything. Also be careful to invest, do more research, and don't live up to your promises. Big amount of bitcoin or money is really a temptation, but we should avoid not falling because it's usually just a lie and it's not going to get anything.

Some people wouldn't help themselves to believe just because the person is like a celebrity in a certain field. We already have Buffett doing the same thing almost and people still believe to what he says.
I could say that some people are really missing out on the word "decentralized", not just to how it is used but also its price.
4028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ruined my account through multiple mistakes on: January 12, 2020, 05:39:48 PM

Saying that "thinking it will rebound" is common for us, that it turn us to greed from the "overconfidence" you stated. Don't be desperate to chase your losses if it didn't work out in the first place. It's just like you put a rubbing alcohol to your wound. That's me when I was day trading, OP. I can't say it was exact but it was almost related to how overconfident I had become just because I had like 3k of capital that day.
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Storing crypto on an implant? on: January 12, 2020, 04:02:44 PM
It is possible actually. I've seen quite few movies already doing some kind of transaction within their own hands only. It's like the hand is your credit/debit card that you would just scan through the card scanner.
However that might take a long time still.
4030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 12, 2020, 03:53:21 PM
So you were one of those hodlers of alts hmm. Well it is uncontrollable anyway. What coins were you hodling? I am curious of it since 2k to 20 USD is quite a sharp decrease.
Well I guess you chose already to invest in Bitcoin. If it is for long-term, keep it. If it is for short-term, you might consider few altcoins again.
4031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the future ?? on: January 12, 2020, 03:42:11 PM
Yes there are really many altcoins in the market and it might even multiply but in the end, you'll probably see only 2% of them survive and the rest would just be dried up and lose its value because they'll be dumped anyway.
Bitcoin will remain as it is. It proved its way not going down to $0 already upon the decade.
4032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is this gift right? Send 0.5 ETH = 1ETH on: December 17, 2019, 04:46:11 PM
Didn't bother to check the site because it might contain malware or something like that, but from how you described the mechanics of the bonus, they are the one that gets the bonus so probably ditch the site and hold your ETH there, mate.
4033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Tips on securing our emails on: December 17, 2019, 02:55:37 PM
Good thing I did one of these back in the days where I was joining few airdrops. I received a fake MEW site claiming to make me view my wallet into their phishing MEW site.
Using password managers could also be great way, but it might vulnerable to spywares that's why I don't use them sometimes.
4034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: December 17, 2019, 02:51:59 PM
You already answered your own question, OP.
Most coins just ended up getting dumped and losing its value. You're just gonna question why do those tokens need to still stay in exchange. I remembered the days I was holding tokens like AION, it went boom for a while but after the ICO, the price just went "meh".
Probably just keep on investing Bitcoin, OP. It's worth hodling.
4035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook's Libra is being reviewed by the US government again on: December 17, 2019, 02:48:58 PM
Could you quote the source of this post, OP? It's all in Chinese characters and I would like to read it. I don't think anything related to Libra would cause any pump to cryptos and also it is still a review since it is gonna be surely an electronic money so these things aren't avoidable. It isn't decentralized currency anyway unlike Bitcoin.
4036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: December 16, 2019, 05:42:40 PM

In short, there were projects that set out goals or roadmaps which arent that  realistic or that can be achieved and with that alone, investors would really have those views that this project isnt really that serious.

One of the factors why they dont succeed and come to think that most scam projects would really have these kind of too good to be true roadmaps which you can already tell that youre dealing with a fraud but
there were legit ones that do ask out such support but they havent done enough on convincing potential investor.

Roadmaps are easily done. It is still sometimes up to the team whether they're gonna really follow the roadmap they made. I am pretty sure that change of plans is quite common like they can't guarantee that they can get the hardcap. I rarely see those project reaching the hardcap, especially that there are fear emerging to some investors already.
4037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 16, 2019, 05:40:23 PM
The most promising source of income is real work and has a monthly salary, and what I mean is that my monthly salary income from real work will be used by a small portion to invest or trade and I do it in stages so I have two incomes because I think Cryptocurrency is the place to get the main income or as a promising additional income depends on those who use it.
and besides that I also participate in signature campaigns or whatever I think can be done and according to my skills because my time is limited by real work.

I can't think of cryptos as someone's main source of income, regardless if they were trading full-time in Binance due to plenty of coins being traded there. How can they sustain their needs financially especially that monthly liabilities are quite annoying? Huh
4038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 16, 2019, 02:01:22 PM
Good luck to bounty hunters and investors though. It was quite a while since the last time that these ICOs popped out a lot in the bounty board. Good thing that these IEOs followed up. While I can't say that IEOs would be better than ICOs since profitability is still at hand, stick to the basics of learning what are scammy projects and what aren't.
4039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think Libra Coin will Win on: December 16, 2019, 01:54:14 PM
People outside crypto like stock investors might not think twice in investing in it. People like me that had issues with Facebook's privacy will not. There would be plenty of merchants inside Facebook after its launch for sure, but are people really willing to drop a single coin to the platform? It will be a good tool, OP. You're right about that, but in terms of widespread reach I think I'll just stick to Bitcoin.
4040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Spouses and Divorce on: December 16, 2019, 01:51:11 PM
there are still many women out there who can understand us as men, don't have to retain women who can't understand what men are saying, my woman never asked me to sell bitcoin or anything, because she knew I had given her enough cash so she didn't have to know about the bitcoin that I have, don't have to sue for divorce just want to force it to sell it, it looks weird

Meh. Sometimes you don't know what's gonna happen once you and your wife are in that stage of life wherein money is gonna be the most crucial part of your life.
I could keep hiding in trading Bitcoin and just put it in USDT so after my death, our children would be able to inherit all of it.
