3641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys use to record your trades? on: July 11, 2020, 01:43:52 PM
Not sure if I would need any third party software or even a web app for my trades, but if I am really committed to it, I think I'll consider using Excel or Google Spreadsheet and calculate my profits weekly.
3642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: July 11, 2020, 01:37:40 PM

If you don't want to trust others in this market, then don't watch YouTube videos.

It is that easy. Start studying yourself so you will be able to sustain yourself with the knowledge you think you need. Despite using them as a reference, it still means that you trust this videos since you are basing your trading with their strategies. IMO, I guess it is not that bad to trust these videos especially those legitimate individuals but it is better if you yourself can do it. There are a lot of threads here you can read and there are also people that share their movements.

Sometimes you need the knowledge of others because whatever you learn is already learned by other people for sure. Youtube videos aren't so bad to learn trading especially day trading strategy, as long as you're not lured too much into them that you're willing to pay courses. Why spend something when you can get it for free anyway?

Watching YT videos made me learn how does each trading tools work like the Bollinger band which was my first trading tool to learn when I was trying to  get into day trading.
3643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what you getting into on: July 10, 2020, 01:54:39 PM
They're in the top coin in CMC anyway, so it is nice coins to be traded at.
Not to mention that I've been seeing crypto prices and trading it for almost 3 years and coins like ETH never failed me, aside from Bitcoin.
Though alts isn't my primary coins for holding, it is still profitable in my end.
3644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: July 10, 2020, 01:36:31 PM
There were some of those bounties that paid in fixed rates through Bitcoin and ETH before, not fully sure how did all those disappear but I believe that they don't want to risk that amount of money just if the project fails in the end.
That's why they're paying you in tokens and that's why these shitcoins exist.
Unless that the bounty is from a seemingly long-running corporation for more than 50 years and managed to join crypto in here and maybe there's slight of a chance they'll pay in those but who would ever do that.
3645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: July 10, 2020, 01:31:58 PM
The urge, zeal, greed to get rich quick. I really dont understand why people seem to believe that cryptocurrency is a get rich quick scheme. Yea, I know the events that occurred in 2017 could proof otherwise but that was that and no one knows if that's gonna happen again. The trick is, anyone or project that gives promises that are too good to be true, RUN!!!
I am kinda disgusted with that kind of mindset. Let's just all conclude that every single doublers are purely scam, because I think that's where most of the victims fell off mostly.

From project, I think the lack of research is what makes them fall for it. Let's all call it that joining bounties, investing in projects, promoting a product also involves investments as well. Time and effort.
3646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: July 10, 2020, 01:23:27 PM
Bounty is one or maybe the only ones that are very feasible and low risk, even giving decent money (a lot). It's very difficult to only rely on that road in the crypto industry with the current situation, I am more focused on my work in real life, because we know the current situation. Trading & margin and aidrop that I currently do, even though I'm not in a professional class in that field, but it's good enough to do.
It is still risky though in the long-term. Teams do an exit scam after the project ends.
I read a thread before on a short story of being scammed in a bounty that they keep on promising that the distribution of tokens will be given in -insert date as an excuse here-,  then in the end their ultimate excuse would be not reaching the soft cap.
Work hard is gone and think about that in a minute on how much you worked each week, exhausted for nothing.
Bounties are easy to get into but hard to get a move on if it fails.
3647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 09, 2020, 09:07:59 AM
Much better than nothing at all. We just start practicing ourselves to be grateful on whatever profits we achieved. Even if it’s just $1.00 or below, it’s still profits.

However, if we lose on a trade, there’s still something that we can be thankful for. If we lose on something, we learn from the experience and gives us the opportunity to get better in our decisions when trading cryptocurrencies.

This is what I’ve been telling myself no matter if we profit or lose in cryptocurrency trading. Just be grateful.
I am even happy it it was cents  Cheesy.
As long as it is a profit, I'll take it. Better than nothing and the important thing is you're still getting into the ropes quite well.
Too bad that didn't happen for me in my day trading experience, as I earned none and I was still learning tutorials in Youtube.
I think it's normal anyway.
3648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 09, 2020, 09:02:59 AM
Risk is already factor in investing itself, coming from the word.
Even if you invest in top coins like Bitcoin, you're still at risk. There's no such thing as "safe investment" especially we're talking about a volatile market.
It it just that the community hype as well as the content of the coin to be invested is what makes us rid of the mindset of fear.
3649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will it take for crypto payment to go mainstream? on: July 09, 2020, 09:00:19 AM
Well yeah high fee and long length before confirmation but still people use it primarily in terms of crypto payments.
I think adopters would probably use a third party payment system when it comes to these payment method.
That's quite fine for me as long as I can still use crypto for convenience.
I can use it as well in buying Steam credits using Bitcoin.
3650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not participate in non reputed bounty managers campaign on: July 08, 2020, 06:17:56 AM
This is why I tell some people at some threads to look at the usernames of the BM of a certain bounty thread as you can see if the BM is part of the project itself.
I'll never join in one of those campaigns being managed by someone directly from the project.

I believe there's a thread on the reputated campaign managers here in the forum aside from SMAS campaign managers, but is outdated. Hopefully someone recompiles them so people will stop feeding the promotion of these scam projects.
3651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 08, 2020, 06:17:35 AM
Well it seems like it is intended for those who do bounties full-time but I don't think that even bounty hunters would fully cover their day with just staying here in forum.
But it is the bounty rules so people participating with it must follow the rules.

Oh boy, I've seen worse of the rules back in 2017 wherein, the stakes are counted through "threads"  made not "replies".  I left the bounty that time because aside from stress to create a topic, it encourages spam and nobody likes that.
3652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 08, 2020, 06:13:49 AM
Not sure the best site to check where the coin is listed at but you should consider researching, as maybe that coin still being traded in some exchanges.
This is why choosing the exchange a coin gets listed at is also an important part of investing. especially in IEOs.
Otherwise you'll just be seeing that balance of your coin but can't do anything with it.
3653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For airdroppers who can hardly relate on: July 06, 2020, 10:06:27 AM
Well I think that would be enough to make some bounty hunters feeding these teams with fake promises.
That's kinda disappointing actually.
Keeping your head up til the end of ICO but failing the promise in the end.
Good thing I didn't join many of them and I am already over from my fear that some teams or third party would attempt to trap you in their box and trying to bait you into their phishing MEW site.
3654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Happens To The Altcoins If Bitcoin Drops Strong? on: July 06, 2020, 10:03:44 AM
If Bitcoin Crash, it will somehow an effect on majority of the altcoins but I am sure that there are some altcoins that are independent of Bitcoin price since some altcoins were valued in USD thus the BTC value of that said altcoin will just adjust.

I believe that the Altcoin market should be independent from Bitcoin market because it is a separate project and development team.  It is the same as one company from another company.
~
I just checked CMC a while ago and turns out that most of the coins in the top 10 have the same curves in the graphs, with exception of stablecoins and some altcoins like Cardano and Crypto.com coin.
I guess we can somehow say that some alts still perform independently and having their own value and that's like just 1% of the whole altcoins in the market because I scrolled down to top 20 and they still somehow resemble the same curves as Bitcoin.
3655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: July 06, 2020, 09:58:33 AM
Altcoins are steps follower. And the steps that they follow is bitcoin's. That should be the first to make itself to the moon then they are the next.
And IMO, it's not the skyrocketing of altcoins yet and even bitcoin. We current see a small dip that's being made for bitcoin and also the steps follower.
So, if you assume about the altcoins going to the moon, not yet.
Indeed.
And I believe that the "moon" for altcoins might take a while and what I mean by "while" is for a longer term.
Bitcoin's kinda stabilizing right now above 9k and I kinda remember that price stabilization back in 2018 after it fell from 20k.
There just blurred lines between the increase/decrease percentage of Bitcoin and altcoin.
3656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Wallet Address on: July 06, 2020, 09:56:35 AM
Just to share my story long time ago when I was still starting  with the use of altcoins.
I joined some bounties before and it was asked for me to put ERC20 Address.
I used my Coinbase ETH Address, and that was kinda fool of me because now that the token was sent to an invalid address.
I should've used MEW but didn't knew that until late.
Well I didn't regret it anyway because the bounty gave a shitcoin.
3657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm new here,what is altcoin on: July 04, 2020, 06:33:34 PM
Anything aside from Bitcoin, OP.
That's why they're called "alt" in prefix for a reason.

From how influential it is depends on the altcoin as each altcoins have their own specialty such as ETH being used to make smart contract platforms.
Start with Bitcoin first and decide what alts do you want to buy.
3658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: July 04, 2020, 06:31:10 PM
Hi , I have never invested for a project , i need to invest for a project and i have an idea to invest on this project - https://curioinvest.com/car/4
But i need your opinions about this project ? Is it a Scam project ?
Will it be Profitable for me ?

Not gonna bother investigating further.
Seems like the site is straight to the point and the devs should've put their team in the homepage instead of putting it into another page.
I don't know if they're real members of the team or they're just stock photos and people should check those photos if they were photoshopped.
I would say to the OP that he/she should be neutral at this point for now until a thread pops-up in the Scam Accusation board if it has an ANN thread here.
3659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotion management is one of the key to successful trading. on: July 03, 2020, 02:04:53 PM
Trading requires having a solid guidlines and discipline. One of the hardest thing to overcome in trading is emotions because it mostly lead to many losses. This is a bigger problem than trade going against you. An important thing is to  only trade with what you can afford to lose,  accept that trading is not getting a quick rich scheme.  When you deposit money on an exchange, you accept losing it all but also you’ll do your best for it not to happen knowing how much  it will take for you to get that money. Fix your risk per trade percentage  and don't go all in a trade with your full capital. Do not be pushed to increase your trade stake when you are in profit to maximize it or recover your losses. This is the emotion that you should curb to make it in trading.
Your emotion lies on you especially depression, that's why rationality comes in place at these times especially in trading.
The thing is some people have different mindset in trading.
Some bring their emotions and some do not.
Some invest funds that's worth losing and some, at worse, even do loans just to do panic comeback to their trades.
3660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: July 03, 2020, 01:57:27 PM
So you're like blaming BMs here in the forum?
I don't think that BMs are the only ones that should do these.
Remember that their responsibility "manage" the bounties, and not eliminating scams, therefore reducing scam project is upon everyone's will and hardwork, so count yourself as well as someone who should be part of "limit the scams" as you can't stop them anyway.

It's like saying outside the crypto space that your local authorities should be  primarily responsible in finding people with bad intents instead of handling their city.
