3761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to trade the usdt market on: April 08, 2020, 04:16:24 PM
I don't really advise you to tread too far in exchanges as some of those might end up listing shitcoins as well as faked trading volume.
What exchange are you trying to point that charges 10 USDT in withdrawal by the way? I still haven't heard exchanges having that rate so far.
If there's anything I can recommend to you, it would be just Binance, OP.
3762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burning on: April 08, 2020, 04:02:53 PM
To your second to the last statement, you're practically pointing to how demand works and I think that token burning won't help that and it would just make it worse. If it still doesn't live to its own value, then I don't think that token burning is a way to pump the price (though I don't want to describe it as pump), because if it just ends up getting dumped in the end, then it's pointless.
3763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 08, 2020, 04:00:13 PM
I don't think that you "should" but you can invest in USDT especially if you're day trading a lot.
A long-term hodler like me won't bother to do that.
I don't really advise too much for people to stay in stable coins because in the end they might just lose their values in the end, and that's far more worse than losing into an unstable coin that would just regain its value in some time.
3764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin revolution on: April 07, 2020, 02:44:31 PM
I do not understand why people are falling victim of these ponzi scheme, common sense alone should tell you that there is no way someone can give you $1000 per day, even the Corona package in US is not per day. It can only be greed that is driving these victims of these Ponzi
Opportunities and FOMOs.
Add up to that greed word you mentioned. People would try and try to find any profitable means.
If there's any circumstance that I can't understand from them, it would be their reasoning of why they invest at something illogical like "Oh double my money per week seems legit.".
3765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: April 07, 2020, 02:41:22 PM
I was curious if given the opition would you or would you not get all pay in 100% bitcoin.
As of this moment, I think that most of us here will choose not to be paid in Bitcoin right now but in the future maybe some will do it.

I see two reasons why most will not choose Bitcoin as their form of payment especially in salaries.

1. Volatility - we know how volatile Bitcoin is. Today your Bitcoin's worth is $100 but tomorrow it can be halved or at the same time double. For some people, this is a bit risky because instead of having USD they choose to be paid in BTC and what if the value of Bitcoin lowered then they will receive a lower wage compare to if they just choose to be paid on USD which is less volatile.
2. Acceptance - not all establishments are accepting Bitcoin right now and it will be more hassle for them if they will choose Bitcoin as a form of payment because they need to convert it and then withdraw (unless they will transfer it to their cards). Now all establishments are accepting fiat currency so they will just accept USD as their payment instead of BTC.
Well outside crypto, I don't think that most of the companies will anyway.
In freelancing, I had read that crypto are paid to some platforms and that's quite nice. There are some online wallets that would allow people to convert BTC to local currency like my country uses, although I don't recommend anyone to use it.
New Zealand kinda allowed the salary payment, iirc starting September 1, 2019.
3766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Crypto - Part 2 - Content Creation Platforms - Earn from Writing on: April 07, 2020, 09:52:45 AM
I mostly read steemit among your choices but there's quite plenty of other article sites I read at.
Earning from writing like blogs and articles would be quite a work to start-up though, and I can't manage to earn a single cent from it just yet and I would like to thank the OP for writing a tip on how to earn from your own writings.
I think the most difficult part of earning from your writing is finding audience, like there's millions of articles to read at.
3767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 07, 2020, 08:05:25 AM
I was once a participant in Julerz12's campaigns long time ago, and it went smoothly.

There are quite many escrows services offered here and I am still confused why do some devs still don't use escrow in making a bounty campaign. Some said that they weren't up to the service charge but it just doesn't make any sense why they still had the thought of starting a campaign.
Not using escrow just makes the campaign less trustworthy but not fully untrustworthy unless it is solely ran by a reputated person in here.
3768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: April 06, 2020, 06:40:52 PM
Good job, OP.
There was already an incident of Yobit scam here, so I think the devs should be wary of that.
I am not sure if devs would be able to read this compilation that the OP made, it could be applicable to bounties sections because pretty much users or BHs would be able to stop promoting projects that would surely wanted to get their coins listed in these exchanges you mentioned.
3769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: April 06, 2020, 06:38:26 PM
Duh. A lot of people are converting BTC to their local currency right now due to the panic. It's either that it is a coincidental effect for cryptos especially Bitcoin where it plummeted down to 4k before or corona virus truly affected it.
We're starting to recover anyway so can we please stop posting more coronavirus & and its effect to cryptocurrency threads?
3770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance charity launches with $1million donation. on: April 06, 2020, 05:21:57 PM
Binance has been far being mentioned in the news lately and I am quite happy with that.
They even bought CMC if I can recall correctly, where it should surely eliminate shitcoins getting listed as well as those coins with fake trading volume which I wasn't aware of before.
I was looking for quite sometime to invest into their coin BNB, and I might consider buying one soon.
3771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fastest ways to multiply Bitcoin on: April 06, 2020, 01:07:23 PM
I don't think there's really "multiplying" BTC, even if it done through trading. We're just having those kinds of incremental increase hour by hour.

In earning more BTC, I don't do multipliers nor gambling in casinos. I am already happy to trade it to various crypto coins (except shitcoins ofc).
Faucets were like 2010's, and it isn't profitable anymore as before.
Freelancing is quite an applicable way of earning BTC also, plus you're putting your skills into application.
3772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 06, 2020, 12:59:53 PM
Neither of the two because I already sold quite few of my coins before the pandemic even happened. I would love to buy but there's isn't just any way to buy Bitcoin without the use of credit cards which I don't have an access to.
It's now going above 7k and I am yet expecting to be disappointed tomorrow after that minor increase we got.
3773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first BTC ATM in Nigeria on: April 06, 2020, 12:29:02 PM
It's quite nice that we're still seeing more development even in this state of the market.

I've been dreaming on having more Bitcoin ATMs here in my country although there are couple of ATMs here but those aren't within my reach and it is quite inconvenient for me to go to the metropolitan area just to buy and sell Bitcoin.
3774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Satoshi theory? Deceased or alive & well on: April 06, 2020, 12:25:29 PM
Does it matter in the end?
He/she could be the person next door in your house. The person could be just living his normal life that you wouldn't see that he knows something about Bitcoin.
If he is alive, I am sure that he is visiting this forum frequently as a guest.
I don't think that even me as an individual would just abandon what I've become part of and I'll always come back whether it'd be for nostalgic purposes or any other purposes.
3775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert Kiyosaki believes in Bitcoin on: April 05, 2020, 08:05:15 AM
Not only that, there are many people and businessmen who believe in Bitcoin. In my opinion, Tesla's CEO Elon Musk believes in Bitcoin and crypto money, but does not express it clearly. Even the most recent Bill Gates said he had changed his mind.
Unfortunately, we cannot reach a place with only these views. For us, larger-scale developments that will affect daily life
I believe that Microsoft used Bitcoin for purchasing their products before, so I am not surprised that Gates kinda supported Bitcoin.
I am not sure the place that we're aiming here, but as long as we can use it to send money to other people as well as invest into it, then I think we're already at our destination here in crypto. Maybe we're just looking at the price all these times, that's why we're still aiming for higher.
3776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Corona Virus Scams on: April 05, 2020, 08:02:55 AM
It's disgusting that some people consider the pandemic as a new way of earning money. Although, cyber scamming isn't widely spread in my country, there are many people trying to make money out of others misery. Often they sell silly anti-coronavirus staff like badges, pendants or useless not medical masks which can't protect you from the virus.
Well you can't expect people to not find any means to steal. There will be always people acting like that regardless of how centralized a system is,now they're using a decentralized asset now to scam.
I read also those scammers here trying to sell fake cures and fake donations. Good thing that there weren't any people trying to scam me in my actual email, because pretty much I use junk mail when I am signing up to an untrusted sites.
3777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price drop 40% we thing causes "Corona virus" and world economic problem on: April 05, 2020, 07:54:00 AM
Corona virus just affected some portion of crypto space, but not the whole market itself. Some portion of this would be just the panics of people exiting the market due to the need to buy their needs as the lockdown is being done.
Many country, from what I've heard, started to quarantine their paper money to avoid the risk of further spread of the infection. I think people are stuck to cashless methods like Bitcoin and bank cards to buy their needs especially in those with a total lockdown.
3778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: April fools! Buy Toilet Paper Token! on: April 01, 2020, 12:09:07 PM
That's quite funny though for an April Fools Joke. I hope everyone read the "Wipe Paper" before trying to invest though. Would there be also an Ethyl Alcohol token in the future, because pretty much it will go to the moon overnight.  Cheesy

I am quite happy that we can still break some ice in the market, out of those panics happening right now in the market like Bitcoin is kinda on its downside right now by -1%.
3779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: April 01, 2020, 12:09:03 PM

3780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 25, 2020, 09:03:15 AM
That's quite sharp for a spike in the charts.
I never expected that there would be more scammers rather than criminals using Bitcoin like those people in the dark web that uses Bitcoin to buy illegal stuffs and services.
Since anonymity comes in hand in Bitcoin, this is pretty much half unsurprising already. Like there would even be paid course I saw in a banner out here to teach how to use Bitcoin while you can use the internet to learn it by yourself for free.
