3821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters and Investors, Who values Cryptocurrencies More? on: March 10, 2020, 06:08:05 PM
Lol the answer is clear, we all know that bounty hunters only want to dump and make quit bucks and investors want to make profits too but they can hold longer than bounty hunters, to say the truth they both want the same thing,
I feel bad sometimes to those investors rooting for a project but due to some bounty hunters just deciding to sell and dump all the tokens gave, the opportunity they took were almost useless. Can't put into statistics on how many bounty hunters do we have right now out of all users in this forum, but it seems like we have a lot because pretty much the coins made in projects dries up most of the time after just almost reaching the exchange that their coins were listed at.
3822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum going back to under 200$? on: March 10, 2020, 06:05:36 PM
Does anyone know what is actually driving the price down? Is it the terrible economic situation in general with Covid19 or what is it.
It is obvious that crypto isn't seen as a safe haven when the stock markets are tumbling. I'm being killed on both sides at the moment...
Some are claiming that it is due to the current outbreak making people selling their coins immediately for the various purpose of buying the needs to survive this outbreak. Pretty much many essentials to this outbreak like face masks should pump in price so this might follow.
Although I don't support the idea that the current outbreak directly affected the price, it is just one of those correction we're always experiencing especially for Bitcoin.
3823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is no different than a fiat currency? on: March 10, 2020, 06:03:15 PM
They're both currency that can be used for something, but both have different aim. Fiat tends to be like the usual medium these days for payment, of course. I do not have the belief that ETH could do the same as fiat and even if it becomes like contender for it, Bitcoin would be more appropriate alternative than ETH.
In terms of potential adoption, Bitcoin would have more of that than ETH.
ETH has different goals so we can't just as"directly" compare these three that easily.
3824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: March 09, 2020, 04:55:48 PM
This is why I don't really tread too far in communications in people. Why would they require a "deposit from you to get the issue resolved"? That is just indeed adding alcohol to the wound you made. I wonder how many people fell for these stupid trap.
Avoid telegram if there's more of an alternative reach to these popular platforms like their official e-mail if they have any. Although they might link their own Facebook page, I don't recommend people to have a communication there. Many pages are faked so easily.
3825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 09, 2020, 04:40:42 PM
That was really nice, OP.
Good thing that they're still interested even though the price is unstable, because pretty much that's what causes most of the people's emotional swing especially when they're holding a lot of Bitcoin, causing panics that just hurts the market as well as themselves up to disappointment and regret.
What was/were the topic/s in the seminar though?
Do you plan on making another seminar for older people that are quite enthusiastic in technologies though?
3826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 04, 2020, 12:40:39 PM
~
Yes many country forbid accessing porn site, that doesn't mean they don't use porn sites.People try to use porn sites anonymously so if porn sites accept bitcoin it will be good for bitcoin also for users.Because most of the people don't want to share their personal information, like card number, vcc and name.If they can pay in bitcoin then users will be more safe.So I think accepting bitcoin will be positive more than negative effects.
I think VPN is still possible for those causes, but I don't think they're gonna be so pursued to it that they'll consider making subscription to the VPN they prefer. We can consider that restricted countries to porn sites as like the weakness of the implementation of Bitcoin to porn sites. How many countries are out there that currently restricts these kinds of contents? I don't think that there's quite a lot of it. Well like that we can almost buy everything through digital means, it isn't gonna do any negative impact to Bitcoin at all.
3827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH price, bears took control? on: March 04, 2020, 12:35:43 PM
It is just almost a global correction to the price of the coins and we shouldn't be surprised of that. Bitcoin did the same thing also like it was at 12k, but it dived down to 7k then made a rebounce.
I am aware that ETH 2.0 is upcoming, and it could probably bring back those people that gave up and cashed it all out causing a possible increase in price, but that is merely my ownn speculation right now. We're not yet in the middle of the bear, and actually we might see another bull run soon.
3828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: March 04, 2020, 12:32:50 PM
It is great actually to have an escrow but too few would consider paying for an escrow service, because pretty much it is due to their own budget plan for the project. There will always be scams hiding in the shadows in the bounty board. A reputated BM could reduce the possibility of getting scammed in bounties, but that doesn't eliminate the fact that everything is still in the hands on those who manage it. Having an ETH payment is quite nice, but most bounties pay through stakes.
3829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about the next alt coin? on: March 03, 2020, 05:10:46 PM
It would be nice also to talk about the previous and it might have the same effect as talking or writing something about the next alts. The aim you're trying to point anyway is focused on investing in the blockchain. Talking about the next alt coins might be a lot riskier than you thought because it would involved your speculation to the said project. It might backfire on you if your audience found out that the "next alt coin" that you're talking about is just another waste of time for them.
3830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Random coin picks experiment on: March 03, 2020, 05:08:18 PM
It's kinda okay of a strategy, OP and now you're saying that you're not gonna depend on merely speculations and thoughts of people from twitter, but still treading way too far in random coins would pose a lot of risk for ya. I put a specific delimitation or boundary to where the randomness of my thoughts to invest at circulates, not like I invested truly in those coins. I am just having plans for it yet.  Cheesy
Anyways, I can't still recommend you any coin since it is pretty much the same that the other people pick. I would be looking forward from your update to this though.
3831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull and bear market. on: March 03, 2020, 05:04:25 PM
If it is literally earning something then it is obviously bull run, because of course due to its price. But when you're gonna ask the overall picture if you can earn even in bearish market then yes, absolutely. It is the cue to take opportunities to buy more coins that you love to hodl. These two trends kinda have the most effect to long-term hodlers/traders as they wait for such trend reversal always as they take the opportunity to buy at dips then sell at peak.
Personally me, I am kinda slow to react at bearish market because of the mindset of a possibility for "more" opportunities.
3832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Github on: March 03, 2020, 05:01:44 PM
I don't see why would projects would even bother posting their Githubs if it is gonna mean to be at private at first. Too bad private repos don't count because that could help you somehow if the devs have past projects. However you can see anyway their contributions over the year, depending on how greenish each days are so that you'll know if it is an active project or something that doesn't get any development over the month.
3833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: February 26, 2020, 11:56:53 AM
Well what a save for someone.
The outer part of the investment universe seemingly just looks like 80% wasteland like there are quite few projects that you can invest legitimately without getting involved to any schemes. I see people posting their contact numbers in billboard with the hope of someone investing into their shill project, and it is poisoning the minds of the investors to start having fear of investing to anything, and it could also hurt Bitcoin in the way that they'll see that it is even decentralized and nobody is in charge of their losses.
3834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin declined 3% as the coronavirus spread in italy on: February 26, 2020, 11:52:38 AM
It is a no if it is only for Italy. Some people claimed the same for China, since everyone seems to panic due to the virus spreading. There could be just a whale exiting for the mean time in the market.
If there's gonna be effect from the virus spreading, it should also bring price surge because people could probably have invested their money into crypto so that they'll be able to pass it to someone.
3835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto whales hacked, lost $15M BTC and $30M BCH on: February 26, 2020, 11:49:20 AM
That's kinda scary. Good thing that I don't hold that much of funds in an online wallet, except for cases that I need to cash it out or buy something for the provided services like buying credits from certain platforms or even buying mobile phone credits. This is why I don't really feel safe in online wallets, even if 2fa is enabled. Hackers don't sit all day waiting for prey. They're just always there behind the monitors planning something anyday.
Consider investing to hardware wallets, it isn't that 100% security but it lessens the possibility of having these losses.
3836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Support Deposit and Withdrawaals in Hongkong on: February 25, 2020, 02:06:33 PM
As one of the top cryptocurrency exchanges I think the Binance has a lot of plans with it comes to expanding their exchanges a lot of good news adding different altcoins in their exchanges form the news..

There are so many reports I heard 15 fiat currency are also added from Binance this February and still continue to grow, Already Binance has a good reputation from different communities and i think this is one of the top exchanges that could be for long term. The Binance CEO is pretty active for sure the exchange is going to get a lot of partnerships from different companies.

That's quite nice, OP.
I didn't know that there was like restriction like these yet at some exchange. I've known Binance for quite some time now, and I believe that there will still be plenty of possibilities it could reach out to other countries. I've never heard these kind of reach to other exchange yet like Bittrex and the ones I even first traded at, EtherDelta.
3837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin boom or burst ? how to analyzed? on: February 25, 2020, 02:01:11 PM
You can just see and analyze if it bursted or boomed. You should be aware OP that Bitcoin is unstable to its value due to how global it is. Everyone around the world could just invest at the same time leading to a possibility of the price pump, now unless you can see those then you might be able to analyze a bit but that's purely impossible.
You can't just analyze it with a naked eye and an open mind. You can just make a speculation and prediction to it, the same way as how the news articles put their headlines quite often.
3838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 25, 2020, 01:52:01 PM
That's right there are many lives that is saved by bitcoin. there are donation sites that will go through different charities that will be truly helpful to others, and online payments is one of it's pros like in wuhan china, there are a huge risk to acquire the disease by touching the money that has been exposed to the virus, and i also watched that there are some scumbags that are intentionally spreading the disease by spitting everywhere, like in the groceries, the buttons of the elevator, there are special place in hell for them.

Well this isn't really directly connected to the spread of Corona, but I even see some people here donating Bitcoin to those who needs it like in one of the threads I've read here in reporting users spamming.
The point is we really need people to get into crypto as much as possible before the supply even depletes in case there will be many whales that are gonna arrive, so that it wouldn't just increase the demand of the coin as well as its price but also we can have wider reach to everybody around the globe.
3839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when everybody buys the bottom ??? on: February 25, 2020, 11:58:57 AM
I can see an unimaginable pump in a coin, but probably it is gonna be in a slippery mountain wherein it will surely just dip to the bottom in no time, assuming that the bottom was solid $0.00. It could be either a dead coin or something that resurrects over and over. In the end, there's no point into investing in it because probably those large buyers would sell at one point in the end, making the price plummet.
3840  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin ATM's fees and their price rates ? on: February 25, 2020, 11:56:20 AM
Hold on, OP.
How would you be able to get into an ATM if Bitcoin is illegal at your country since September 2014? Here's what I read in a Wikipedia page:
Quote
Financial institutions are not allowed to facilitate bitcoin transactions. In September 2014, Bangladesh Bank said that "anybody caught using the virtual currency could be jailed under the country's strict anti-money laundering laws".
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory#Bangladesh

You should consider what you're doing, OP. Bank doesn't seem to welcome crypto so better avoid it.
