3921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNING THE GAME AGAINST BAD PROJECTS on: January 24, 2020, 05:06:44 PM
Seems like you're playing it safe, OP.
Although I can't assure you that, you're in the most profitable game right now. You might miss out opportunities to invest in some project.
Hopefully IEOs doesn't fail the same way as ICOs did in the past few years.
3922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Okay. What is the main factor that boosts Altcoin value? Popularity or Tech? on: January 24, 2020, 05:05:04 PM
For some stable coins, it is pretty much all these articles that you see in the internet. One of these would be Steemit that I saw most people insert a link when they're trying to share their thoughts about a particular coin.
It is a blockchain-based anyway so I am not surprised that many crypto hodlers would use that for their blogs, although it doesn't mean entirely that blockchain is all about cryptos.
3923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 03:44:40 PM
It's possible but it is gonna be hard.
In terms of adoption, Bitcoin already has the most of adoption worldwide already.
Some altcoins would seem like that it is gonna be candidate for replacement of Bitcoin, but in reality both are aiming differently.
I remembered back in the days when people tend to ask often if ETH would replace BTC soon.  Cheesy
3924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum set new High in this Year on: January 24, 2020, 03:44:33 PM
It seems likely, although I don't want to look into its upcoming 2.0 though but it might cause encouragement also to investors to buy now. I am not that looking into too much projects especially the IEOs bounties popping up lately but seeing them using ETH primarily seems a better way than making their own shitcoin.
3925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Coin Design Help on: January 24, 2020, 03:41:35 PM
Well I guess there isn't much to suggest but probably you should consider getting photoshop for these.
I am not sure if GIMP would be sufficient, because it is free unlike Adobe Photoshop.
Good luck for the projects though, OP.
3926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 24, 2020, 03:28:46 PM
It will always need more development.
OP, when was the last time you saw a flaw in Bitcoin?
Think of it as like a business that continues to get new franchise worldwide, it expands and gets further reach.
Are you aware that even your Chrome browser gets new update, but from how you look into it, it looks perfect already right?
It's the same way as Bitcoin. It continues to be developed.
3927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying real estate with Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 02:17:25 PM
This makes wonder whenever it's possible to buy real estate with Bitcoin?
This topic has been brought up before, as I remember seeing at least one other thread asking this same question--and I do find it an interesting one.  I do recall seeing someone selling their house on bitcointalk a few years ago.  The OP provided pictures and all, though I can't remember which country it was in.  And in another thread someone mentioned a huge real estate sale that happened with bitcoin being the payment method.

But those cases are isolated and rare to the best of my knowledge.  I don't think there are any real estate agents or mortgage brokers who deal with bitcoin routinely, nor do I think there's a huge demand for that service.  People barely spend bitcoin on little things, and the number of people with enough bitcoin to purchase a house or land is probably very small.

And besides, I see bitcoin as an investment more so than a currency.  Buying a house with bitcoin would be like buying one with gold or stocks.  It just doesn't make much sense--that's what fiat is for.

I remember the title of that thread posted here in BTC Disc. board. I think the title was "Selling my house for crypto".
There ain't even a sign of even selling lots in here using crpyto, not even in the signs of "For Lease", and highly doubt there would be a single one.
I've read here in my local news headlines about the implementation of blockchain-based that helps people buy lots. I never heard from it since, and I wouldn't expect it to be brought again anyway. This one doesn't utilize Bitcoin though.

3928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 02:10:55 PM
It doesn't really effect that much to Bitcoin, OP.
It is the same question as how do we affect the price of Bitcoin while hodling any amount. It is surely all about the demand and supply most of the time.
It is gonna be expected like usual for the price to increase, and due to globalize access to Bitcoin to most of the countries, it causes instability to the price.
3929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 02:05:26 PM
I've been seeing milk tea here in my city, left and right. It is kinda getting crazy actually.
Implementing Bitcoin payment kinda sways into my mind, since most people buying milk tea here are high school students. Well let's say almost all of the Generation Z.
I am not sure if they're gonna be interested in paying in cryptos though, but hey it wouldn't hurt to make open an alternative payment method anyway. It's Bitcoin, there are no taxes to it unless you're planning to cash it out.

PS. I live in the Philippines and I believe that milk tea is such a hit here.
3930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Central Bank Says It Hasn’t Banned Crypto on: January 24, 2020, 01:53:44 PM
Back in July 2019, there was like a proposal made to ban crypto however it seems like it changed to this.
I guess it is better to be like that, rather than banning it.
This seems like people would buy Bitcoin through personal transactions. I am pretty sure this is like an initiation of the government to make their own coin, but let's see how it goes.
3931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Away of this scam Coin on: January 23, 2020, 05:20:08 PM
That's kinda deceiving for me.
Those percentage in green looks like an candy in the eyes of the investors.
I don't even know that coin so I guess if I could do some research, my mind would be change and it will be the same thoughts as what the OP is trying to say.
3932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gonna sell my stock assets and invest in these top currencies. Suggestions? on: January 23, 2020, 05:02:33 PM
You're fine with those. I am gonna try to look into BSV and BCH, as people tend to like word those coins positively but hey it's up to us in the end. It's our portfolio anyway.
3933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Crypto - Part 1 - Top Websites to Find Crypto Jobs on: January 23, 2020, 04:58:03 PM
Due to these platforms, I believe that more companies will start to adopt crypto salaries soon enough. I wouldn't be surprised if the company where I'll work in the future would do that.

Anyways, it is a well written article, OP. The compilation of the sites is nice as well as providing a screenshot to it. Too bad, my time can't be allocated to these due to how hassle my schedule has been. I would like to visit these sites after everything   okay, but I might consider reading the reviews of the people regarding of the proof of payment.
3934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value starts with people's attention? or with its technology? on: January 23, 2020, 04:04:15 PM
It's both.
People will invest their fiat money into it regardless if they want to use it for its technology or its value.
It is increasing the demand as it is.
Although I am here for both, but majority of it would be the utilization. On the other side, I still manage to earn some from hodling Bitcoin and I keep the habit of doing so.
3935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 23, 2020, 04:02:15 PM
For now, I can't say that I am ensured that my money is safe regardless of what wallet I am hodling.
It isn't because of the safety that I am having issue of. I could just isolate it in a safe if I wanted an almost 100% security, but the thing is the price is volatility. Unless we're already having plenty of adoption of Bitcoin worldwide, but I don't think I am yet comfortable with the volatile nature of Bitcoin.
3936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stablecoins Promote the Mass Adoption of Cryptocurrencies? on: January 23, 2020, 03:34:48 PM
I don't think it will.
Common people won't get used to these stablecoins like USDT even if it gets adopted.
It's like that everyone uses credit card as well as debit card in some sense.
We're getting slow adoption of Bitcoin anyway, so I don't think we need to look into the other side anymore.
3937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 23, 2020, 03:27:47 PM
It should be the same as Bitcoin.
Just looking recently at CoinMarketCap where it made a loss of -2.41%, as well as Bitcoin losing by -3.18%. It is quite large gap, but both are experiencing the same thing. It should get at least a bit of bull run.
3938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Use of Altcoin. Do you know any altcoin that has so much potential as use case? on: January 22, 2020, 05:51:44 PM
No.
I am sorry but I haven't heard any altcoins that goes outside the internet yet.
Bitcoin is the always the coin that gets the most utilization when it comes to payment. I just read a thread recently about the OP looking for XRP payments, and from my research, it just showed few services that accepts it.
3939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would it take for XRP to become widely used as a payment method? on: January 22, 2020, 05:49:22 PM
Never saw a lot of XRP getting accepted here in my country and I even doubt that it will be adopted here for the next 10 years due to Bitcoin's slow adoption to merchants here.
On the other side, I researched some establishments or online services that accept XRP payments. I still don't have any experience with these service though.

3940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You CANNOT trade successfully without RISK-MANAGEMENT on: January 22, 2020, 04:13:11 PM
I found lots of threads here on the reasons for losses or the ways to earn in the long term.

What types and methods of risk management you use? Any software? What risk limits do you set?

Every trader should be aware of risk management before picking interest in trading. Preferably taking courses on risk management should be considered an important part of understanding the act of trading. The diversification of assets is one of the ways to avoid losses although for the cryptocurrency industry, this technique is been misunderstood.

Assets that are related aren't worth diversifying since the market performance is directly influence by the same factor. Trading multiple altcoins is more risky than trading bitcoin or a particular Altcoin.  The whole concept of risk management is to avoid losses therefore anything that'll result to more losses than profit should be avoided by all course.

~

Maybe taking courses is the missing part of my journey in trading, hmm. I just jumped into some random tutorials back in the day and did straight trading, although I agree that alts are riskier because they're pretty much drying up pretty quickly due to a lot of selling pressure rather than Bitcoin where there are pretty much many long-term hodlers.
