421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term corrections could be detrimental. on: January 09, 2024, 01:33:39 AM
(....)
I am very certain about the bullish market season after the halving, and as such my advice to any true crypto/BTC investor who may become millionaires in the next 12-18 months, would be to hold tight and not let any short term corrections stop them or put them out of the market until the duration of their holdings is complete.

What are your thoughts?
For me, I am expecting we will still go higher from now until before the Bitcoin block halving. Try to check the previous Bitcoin block halvings, you will see that most of the price actions upward are happening before the Bitcoin block halving event.
But this time, we are very volatile because of the ETF deadlines, it could affect the market, but still, we must stay positive.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if an altcoin is a scam on: January 03, 2024, 11:13:28 PM
I'd say looking at exchange listing to verify if a project is legit is probably one of the worstrways to determine that.
Exactly and I tend to agree with this, even though listed on a big exchange the chances of getting scammed are still there.
(....)
Include also some exchanges that have listing fees, so for sure they don't care anymore about the project if it's legit or a scam because they only care about the fee they will get in the project, and last part, the users will be affected because these scam projects will just dump to retails.
But now there are some exchanges already improved, they have some research team to verify before listing, but for me it is still better to verify also it by yourself.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China ban people from using usdt on: January 03, 2024, 11:10:34 PM
Before Bitcoin, now USDT Wink
I thought Cryptocurrency was already banned in China? Cheesy
Why now they are talking about USDT where they already banned all cryptocurrencies?

It seems everyone now already doesn't give a sh!t anymore in China, whatever some decision in China, market don't react anymore because for sure people already immune and know that it will not affect anything, no panic anymore.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 03, 2024, 11:04:55 PM
For those of us that are into altcoin signature campaign and have accumulate some in your wallet, what do you do with it since some of them has low value at the moment if you check their current price?
(....)
In my own opinion, if you are getting these altcoins, just sell them immediately, like after you got them, because of altcoins that came from this will just go to dump, the best example was the 2017-2018 alt season.
Another thing let's say I have some altcoins bought and losing some value, sometimes what I am doing is cutting losses, I will sell it then I will buy other altcoins that has potential.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc and eth general trading stradegy best so far on: January 03, 2024, 11:01:08 PM
(....)
And in case of flash crash Im prepared.
Do you have any plans about setting some stop losses @OP?
I'm just curious how you will handle the dumps, it seems difficult for you just to buy every dip forever. Do you have any plans about cutting losses here just incase the price target will not be achieve first or your analysis will go in the opposite side?
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Achieving a goal on: January 03, 2024, 10:57:56 PM
Basically, I have around 25$k to invest, and I really want to hit least 200K$ by the end of this year.
Why not just invest in bitcoin?
I don't think investing only in Bitcoin with that amount of capital will be able to help you with $200k by the end of this year unless Bitcoin reaches 8x the current price, which is around $336,000.
So yeah, OP wants to achieve that goal by trading and I can say it is possible to achieve it by trading only, but the difficult part is when you start trading already.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which blockchain has the highest rated TPS? on: January 03, 2024, 10:51:39 PM
Blockchains like XRP and Solana claim to process large TPS, but that hasn't been proven yet (AFAIK). If there's a blockchain network that can handle many TPS like Visa, then crypto would be on a road towards massive adoption worldwide.
For me, Solana has already proven it before, during the peak we saw drastically how Solana handled a lot of transactions.
What only downside of Solana especially before is the down time of it, one of the reasons why it was down before I think was because of the bots? I'm not sure. But for sure it is already fixed now.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want to make USDT transaction, check transaction fee across chains on: January 03, 2024, 10:47:22 PM
Another platform I can share about gas which is related to OP - https://fees.wtf

But this is only for Ethereum, it will show you historical gas transactions like how much you already spent on gas only, and it will also show the number of transactions, and how much in Ethereum you already spent and converted into USD.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have behaved like a fine wine 🍷 on: January 03, 2024, 01:30:27 PM
In short, Bitcoin was created for the long term, just like basic economics (supply and demand).
Satoshi Nakamoto is just smart because he/she made Bitcoin to stay and have value as time goes by.
Another thing about Bitcoin behaved like a fine wine is because it will make feel you better and will help you to sleep well  Wink
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is just happened on the Bitcoin Market? on: January 03, 2024, 01:08:36 PM
I can say that the reason is the panic of people about these articles about saying Bitcoin ETF approvals will be possible this January.
Since it is still not true, for me, the run will continue until it is proven, that this dump of what happened is only an advertisement for this run.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My btc full year plan 2024 on: January 03, 2024, 04:08:28 AM
you try to do your best by guessing all the prices and these are close together.
But what is called a prediction is just a prediction, there is no guarantee that it will be achieved. But there is a possibility that some of the prices you mentioned will be reached in 2024. We are waiting for the halving to arrive and that will be the point where we have to prepare for the bullishness that will arrive soon.
It's normal, everyone can predict just like what OP said.
I'm glad I saw some predictions that are somehow realistic, not too much, not too less. I'm happy that in the list I can't see any more below $20,000.
With Bitcoin block halving this year, these numbers are somehow comfortable for me, I am even expecting a new all-time high before month of May.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying and Losing My First Bitcoin on: January 03, 2024, 03:54:23 AM
I'm just happy with my first investment because the Bitcoin I bought is still in my wallet like I think it was around 2017-2018, I bought some Bitcoins from my fiat and what I did is store it immediately in my personal wallet so I can assure that I can't easily use it if it's only in the exchange, it's safe from converting it to some altcoins which the mistakes I commonly did when I just first being introduced in Bitcoin and altcoins before.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and the Masses on: January 03, 2024, 03:45:37 AM
How can we bridge the gap between mainstream adoption and the complexities of blockchain technology?
We dont!
The continued appearance of bitcoin in the movies, advertisements, and even in any commercial areas or businesses, will do the work. If people are constantly seeing or hearing about it every single time, it'll  catch their attention. From there, they will do their own research about bitcoin. The blockchain technology is a little complicated than learning how bitcoin works and how to secure it to lessen the risk of getting loses.
We don't need to rush and push harder on the global adoption since bitcoin is doing so well even if it's not widely adopted globally, but that doesn't mean there were no improvements on the adoption, bitcoin has been gradually being adopted more than any governments in any country who's banning crypto transactions. The continued increase of value every year passed is a living proof of it. So, again we should never stress ourselves out on how to spread the word about bitcoin to try to speed things up regarding global bitcoin adoption.
The community or other people must also have a mindset that is eager to teach new people that is starting to get introduced to Bitcoin.
We must think that learning or using Bitcoin is not only for investment but for innovation.
From what I observed, most of the people that getting introduced to Bitcoin are just only for money, they are greedy enough to not learn anymore the basics of Bitcoin or how it works and some are ended being scam because of their grediness.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rollercoaster of emotions. How to deal with? on: January 03, 2024, 03:36:48 AM
Hey everyone, I've been grappling with a question lately and would love to get your thoughts. How much of my monthly income should I realistically invest in Bitcoin, considering the emotional rollercoaster of the crypto market?
(....)
In my own opinion, I don't advise that you need to invest monthly and get money from your income, what I can highly suggest is to invest money that is your extra money, don't use the money that you know you will needed in shortly because we all know how volatile the market is.
So using a money that you will not needed and not too much for you and you are afford to lose it is the best!
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitcoinETF approval will possibly cause much bigger jump than most people expect on: January 03, 2024, 03:34:16 AM
(....)
However, I don't believe a "very bid dump" will happen with a rejection. The big bulk of investor's money are probably waiting for the green light. If the signal won't come, the money won't flow into the market. That's probably the biggest effect.

Yes, me too because we already experienced this before when some ETF filings and we experienced a dump also but as I recall we managed to recover after the dump. So the same will happen but it will be lighter as people already experienced it before and for sure they already know how to react.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: December 30, 2023, 01:41:08 AM
Leisure.
There are some people who are just gambling not because of money, some could be gambling because they have a lot of extra time and don't know what to do, so they decided to gamble.
Another reason could be thinking that their next gamble will be able to win, but lose then repeat again.
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: December 30, 2023, 01:39:16 AM
(....)
Now my question is futures trade is actually gambling? Or how did he lose all his dollars?
For me, trading will be gambling if you trading without basis or analysis or just opening a trade randomly.
Because for me, every trade needs to be planned first before doing anything.
And even futures or spot trading, they are just the same, the risk involved are only different and the type of it.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana (SOL) Where will it end? $80 21th DEC 23 on: December 30, 2023, 01:37:10 AM
It seems like the altcoins on the Solana network have been getting hype recently, I saw on social media that many people are holding altcoins on the Solana network and the price has increased several times. maybe this is what caused the price of solana to rise, let's see how long this hype lasts.
As long as the hype continues, the price sol will go up or have a sideways movement, but it probably can't last long. It seems to me that altcoins on the sol blockchain will not be popular in the near future. Buying it now for the purpose of profits may kill the deposit. I remember once upon a time there was a similar story with bnb.
It seems for me the hype of Solana right now is different from the last bull run, in which it started to reach its all-time high.
What I can see right now is Solana reacted late versus the other altcoins like Ethereum, because as you can see, Bitcoin price action and Ethereum price action is almost correlated with each other, then on Solana, I can say it just follows Ethereum and Bitcoin late already with extremely high price action upward.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 30, 2023, 01:34:38 AM
(...)
My biggest fear is losing my hard earn to something as volatile, vulnerable and uncertain as btc. What's the possibility you invest without losing. Is it guaranteed in this kinda market?
For me, for any kind of investment, I can say that losing is normal, it's not guaranteed to always have profits.
For me, if you are really careful and you want high success. Then you must be ready, go learn first everything, learn fundamental & technical analysis and everything, then study and analyze the market before you enter, but I will say again, still not guarantee.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin ETF is not Approved on: December 30, 2023, 01:32:10 AM
((....)
I can only see a sudden fall if Bitcoin ETF is not approved and you may as well add your input on this. However, from now till 2026 will be promising for BTC as there would be favorable outcome. It is a game of patience.
For me yes but overall Bitcoin is fine, the best example already happened before, remember when Bitcoin ETF was first introduced in the market it was really hype but after multiple times Bitcoin ETF was not approved, price reacted but Bitcoin is not going to zero, and it recovers also.
So for me, with or without Bitcoin ETF, Bitcoin will stay.
