1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 09, 2023, 10:51:55 AM
(....)
If you don't have the money yet, maybe because you are jobless or still in school, do not let that be the reason to be out of Bitcoin, there is more you can learn that will help you in your crypto journey.

Money is coming, but be prepared by learning about Bitcoin, you will be in safer hands with the knowledge you would have acquired.
People must always think this. Because from what I observe most new people who are coming to the Bitcoin space are greedy, they only want easy money, they don't want to learn what Bitcoin is because they only think is easy money. Very bad move for newbies I believe.
Having good knowledge on Bitcoin will help you to make money depends from your goal, so everything must be learn first.
1302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if CEX do not have BTCs? What is being traded then? on: April 09, 2023, 10:48:41 AM
Usually when the CEX do not have BTC and their customers want to withdraw their coins, they will frozen the customer coins and accuse something, then they will ask a time to proceed further investigation or they will make your transaction pending and the reason is security check.
(...)
This is very common especially when you withdraw a large amount in just a single transaction, especially those exchanges who got low trading volume and are really scamming their users.
There are already a lot of cases just like this especially when an exchange uses their customers' balance for their own benefits.

Always think that once you deposit your funds to an exchange, it's not yours already, you are now just holding numbers from your account.
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question about Freezing of account on: April 09, 2023, 10:44:21 AM
(....)
Ive asked her regarding their suspicious data leaked. She said that she was just copytrading the trading input of her whale friend and they were doing it simultaneously like if the other one is doing that time she also entering the same value or entry price and hence exiting on the same target price. So basically copytrade. Maybe this is the suspected thing of the exchange. But asking for deposit to verify or cleanse a freeze account? How is that even valid right to remedy the suspicion. They should ask for an evidence or any proof of their allegations instead.
If this copy trading is being done manually by your friend, I don't think a particular exchange can detect it as copy trading with somebody else.
Ask your friend if maybe the API keys of her account are being used on some 3rd party applications like for some bot to automate the copy trading. Ask also where the funds from his account came from when she is depositing to the exchange.

EDIT: I saw it was just a phishing attempt, but my above scenario could be possible just in case that this is true for some exchanges.
1304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 05, 2023, 01:59:42 AM
In the past, what I did was joining 2-3 signal groups and buy/sell according to their instructions. However, I realized 2 points.
(....)
For traders, both their own analysis and trading signals can be helpful tools. Your unique situation and trading style will determine the best course of action.
I experienced this also, where before I do enter a trade that came from a trading signal, I am verifying it first and try to analyze it first as my second opinion.
While some traders may prefer to conduct their own analysis exclusively, others may prefer to use trading signals as a starting point.
1305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 05, 2023, 01:54:23 AM
The best thing to do how to convince other people is not to force them or not give false hope.
I can say, we need to give them first, advice and caution. As with any investment, it's crucial to urge caution and promote ethical investing. It's critical to emphasize that they should only invest money they can afford to lose because Bitcoin, like any investment, carries risks.
1306  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: April 05, 2023, 01:51:52 AM
A breakout could happen once it crosses the $30k market price which could create a new market resistance. Problem is, what if the other way around happen? Once its price fall down to $25k it might continue falling because nothing supports the increase happened this year.
(....)
I'm tired of $28,000 Cheesy. As of now, we are back again above $28,000. I believe this is far better, I am happy even though we will not see $30,000 these coming days, as long as we stay above $28,000. I feel so safe when we don't have a lot of dumps happening.
$30,000 is a magnet here, we don't just need to hurry.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading eggs with bitcoin! on: April 05, 2023, 01:44:23 AM
I can't wait for Costa Rica country will follow El Salvador which will start treating Bitcoin as legal tender, which means Bitcoin will become a currency that is accepted by a government as payment for debts, taxes, and other financial obligations is known as legal tender.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto world without CEXs...How would it be? on: April 04, 2023, 12:58:08 AM
Centralized exchanges are one of the biggest contributors to the cryptocurrency market. But without centralized exchanges, crypto trading would be decentralized, which could have several implications for the industry. For trading and investing in cryptocurrencies, the ecosystem will become more experimental and possibly more flexible.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 04, 2023, 12:54:26 AM
For sure, it's another April fools' joke. You know Elon Musk, since before, he really making fun of Dogecoin.
I believe that after this, he will do it again. For sure a lot of bots made a lot of profits for this, I believe that there are a lot of bots waiting on every tweet of Elon Musk and these bots are auto-buying dogecoins.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What crypto porfolio trackers are people using? on: April 04, 2023, 12:48:55 AM
I've been using an excel spreadsheet for years and I've finally decided to use a tracker app.
There are lot free cryptocurrency portfolios right now, basic ones are:

https://www.coingecko.com/en/portfolio - Coingecko
https://coinmarketcap.com/portfolio-tracker/ -Coinmarketcap
https://www.cointracker.io/ - Cointracker (With premium features, you can use the free plan only)

The above list is good because they have mobile applications which are synced from their web dashboard. I just switched to coin tracker, I think this is a good tracker because for me right now compared to coingecko and coinmarketcap.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you still strong holding btc on: April 04, 2023, 12:37:30 AM
(....)
I want to ask if you also  keep holding btc?
and the reason I hold btc is because I believe the price of btc in 2024 will be high and there will be no more btc prices like now.
It seems we are the same reason. Additionally for me, is because of the upcoming Bitcoin block halving. Because of what I observed and compare all the past Bitcoin block halvings, I can see that Bitcoin is starting to pump before the Bitcoin block halving event started. So for me, I am maybe too early but it's ok as long as I am not late.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync Era Mainnet launch on: April 03, 2023, 02:14:34 AM
(....)
So Im sharing this too for those who missed the airdrop. Ive seen some dapps built on their network already supported them like mintsquare, orbiter finance and syncswap but there are more. What we should do is interact on these dapps as possible to be eligible on potential airdrops like zksync. Also you can share some you have tried. Maybe I didnt chrck that out yet.
Airdrop for new blockchain networks nowadays seems overrated. I believe that when zksync will do some airdrop, maybe the amount or cost of it will now be low compared to previous airdrops like Arbitrum or Aptos.
We still don't know what will be the basis of zksync airdrop, some are telling by a number of transactions, and some are by the total amount transacted. We will never know.
1313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: April 03, 2023, 02:12:04 AM
This is the best example that trading is also a difficult job it involves money and it will eat most of your time. There are some people who are underestimating people who do traders.
The worst part is trading will eat most of your time and sometimes you can't guarantee that you will have profits.
So, overall, we must have to balance our time when we are trading and we must manage it also.
1314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not about to give up hope. on: April 03, 2023, 02:08:53 AM

•What lessons can we learn from your experience?
From my own experience, I can say the first is to have a clear investment strategy: Develop a clear investment strategy based on your financial goals and risk tolerance. Second, keep emotions in check: Emotions can often cloud judgment when it comes to trading cryptocurrencies. Avoid making decisions based on fear, FOMO (fear of missing out), or greed.
Stick to your investment strategy and be disciplined. You just need to master and be consistent.

When it comes to investing, it's important to be careful and think about the long-term. Cryptocurrency or non-cryptocurrency related,
this is because the market can go up and down at any time. By staying up-to-date and making wise choices, people can increase their chances of making more money and reaching their financial objectives.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is controlled on: April 03, 2023, 02:00:53 AM
Since most of the major altcoins move up or down at the same time as bitcoin, aren't they all controlled? How does it work?
I believe that it's just correlated with Bitcoin. As you can also see that Bitcoin's dominance against all altcoins is extremely high, so what's to expect? Expect that it will be the common price action of most of the altcoins.
Some actions could be, after Bitcoin pumps, altcoin follows. And once Bitcoin go for sideways, most of the time altcoins will pump.
1317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone using Price Action to trade full-time? on: April 01, 2023, 09:57:56 AM
I really admire OP for this. Because using a basic strategy or indicators or tools is always a good thing for me, as I am not a fan of too fancy technical analysis like there are a lot of lines or indicators on the chart.
I believe that basic indicators just like price action will really be effective, you just need to master them and have dedication.
1318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2years of trading! on: April 01, 2023, 09:55:25 AM
(....)
Actually, a newbie won't bother to read some long pointers and advice. Let them experience the actual pressure of doing trades as for sure, if they are really serious, their experience will make them a better traders in the long-run.
I don't agree here. Only newbies that are careless and irresponsible will do this. I am even not agreeing about "learn from your mistakes" where you can do better before you make those mistakes. So, for me, it will always be to do prevention first.
Trading is not a joke and it involves money.
1319  Economy / Speculation / Re: The US government sold 9800 bitcoin on March 14 on: April 01, 2023, 09:52:55 AM
(...)
(....)
I am not sure if the timing is correct, as I think we will see another leg up, but... they have much better traders and insiders than I am.
For sure they can even make a lot of profits besides selling those Bitcoins once this will happen. They can easily manipulate the media and spread some news just to pump the market and for sure, I agree with the insiders here which is really make more profits for them.
1320  Economy / Speculation / Re: What about the little increase? on: April 01, 2023, 09:50:29 AM
(....)
The Bitcoin market was in for a lot of dumping before the new year. However, we have seen the Bitcoin market start to grow slowly at the beginning of the new year as well as a new housing market of the year.
(.....)
It's been already 1 quarter of the calendar. So for me, it's indeed that we are already bullish right now.
I am not really expecting another low or even dump before $20,000 this year. What I can see is a very long sideways.
Bitcoin is already testing $30,000. I am expecting the $30,000 very soon but after that pullback for sure.
