1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If btc might lose the support then solana to watch next on: March 05, 2023, 07:29:09 AM
Just in case if I will do trade on Solana right now, maybe I can do a small buy the dip below the $20 price because right now, I can see is the $20 here is strong support where right now it is acting support and anytime it can be tested again.
So maybe a wick below $20, could be a  good long trade entry.

1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Willing to invest on bitcoin but having some challenges. on: March 01, 2023, 03:42:26 AM
I live in an iland called MINAMA, over here there is no electricity, major road, or boreholes we all use the water from the river and it's affecting us, but that's not my problem,  my problem is I'm not always online on this forum because there is no light and no were to charge my cellphone so I always manage my battery. The only place am charging my phone is my neighbor's place, now am tired of going there to charge my cellphone, so what will I do so I can be more available on this forum?
(....)
There are a lot of ways to learn. If you want to learn you will always find ways. The best example for your case is you can download some lessons like videos/articles/e-books so that will be available offline, using less internet could help to save more of your battery.

About Bitcoin, since you are beginning, it's tough early. But if you are just consistent and dedicated it is really fun to learn how Bitcoin works or what really Bitcoin is. It's really high advisable to learn the basics first, read, listen, and watch lessons on Bitcoin, it will help.
1423  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance - where is it located? on: March 01, 2023, 03:39:10 AM
Most of the companies are just like this, they are just buying some virtual office or address so they can be registered as a legit business. There are a lot of businesses just like this, they have an official business address but no physical office or headquarters.

$12B gone in less than 60 days. The outflow till end of February is bigger, that report was published in January.

Trust or don't trust Binance, the reminder is important as "not your keys, not your bitcoins[/url]. If people let Binance and CZ hold your keys, you don't have your bitcoins.
Exactly, even how huge or famous an exchange is, there are still a lot of possibilities, the best example of that is FTX Exchange.

And also there is really some FUD spreading, which some FUD targetting competitors or some are targeting entirely cryptocurrency which they will use top exchanges for that.
1424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with profitability on: March 01, 2023, 03:23:22 AM
As an experienced day trader, or a scalper, if you have $1000, what profit will you be looking for? Also what amount is your stop loss? What leverage would you prefer to use?
(...)
Risk management comes here. If I were in your situation, I will always use the 10% rule. This means for every trade you open, it is must less than or a maximum of 10% of your capital/available balance is the size of your trade every time.
And about the risk: reward ration, I am always doing some always 2 or above on that.
1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How is DeFI exactly Decentralized ? on: February 26, 2023, 11:50:31 PM
Just take an example of using a centralized exchange when you need a lot of inputs about your personal information during signing up, and when a centralized exchange asks you to undergo to Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process, it's really a hassle.
But on Decentralized Finance (DeFi), you just need your cryptocurrency wallet then no more signups, KYC, etc. And in just few clicks you can open trade position with leverage or you can exchange your cryptocurrencies to other cryptocurrencies.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana was recently down, again! on: February 26, 2023, 11:46:10 PM
I am losing hope in Solana started of what happened during the FTX Exchange tragedy, Solana network seems always have downtime, look at now, even bear market, they still experience downtone which as I remember before, their downtime/s was during the bull market which is somehow expected to happen, but now? Seems no.
1427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I've been scared to invest in bitcoin on: February 26, 2023, 11:43:27 PM
(....)
My question is this, is it possible for bitcoin to be completely immune to volatility in years to come?
No one knows what will happen to Bitcoin in the future, so I my answer here is NO.
Volatility in Bitcoin for me since beginning is already existing and I belive it will continue in the coming years especially if the market cap or volume that exist on Bitcoin will be no changes at all.
1428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is no way to know unless I ask on: February 26, 2023, 11:41:50 PM
(.....)
I don't think this is a stupid question to ask on this forum so please take it easy on me if this sounds stupid, because, Bitcoin is decentralized, any possibility that insurance can cover something decentralized? Or you gotta give it up?
If you hold your Bitcoin personally or you are using such wallets that are non-custodial then I believe there's no insurance at all for your Bitcoin.
I haven't heard of some insurance on Bitcoin but I am not sure if some centralized platforms offer this such exchanges.
For example on centralized exchanges like Binance, they have this Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU) which is a emergency insurance fund for their users, you can read more here: https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/secure-asset-fund-for-users
1429  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: February 25, 2023, 02:22:23 AM
$20,000 here is the nearest. I'll go with $20,000. The $20,000 level now is an extremely significant level for Bitcoin right now. If you take a look at last month or when we start to trading above the $20,000 level, it became strong support, multiple times Bitcoin tested it but it keeps bouncing above $20,000.
So for me, $20,000 is the strong level here plus its psychological support.
1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i want to know about velo coin on: February 25, 2023, 02:18:52 AM
This is my first time seeing Stellar altcoins built on the Stellar network.
I can also see that the all-time high of this altcoin is way higher! If you take a look at the record, the all-time high is $2.07 and the current price is $0.01204 which is around -99%.
I can see that just incase this project will become successful, the ROI here will be huge, for example, this will be back at its all-time high price.
1431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traffic will jam if bitcoin pumps on: February 25, 2023, 02:13:19 AM
But, then many of this people do not understand that, bear season is the best time to buy and wait for the bull season, buying  when the price is lowest and waiting to sell when the price is at its peak is better than buying when the price is already going up and hoping to sell at the peak.
(....)
And this is another reason why the price of Bitcoin is going parabolic during that time, people are doing FOMO and they just press the green button with panic. We already experienced this in previous prices of Bitcoin or previous bull markets.
I am curious if people will learn lessons that they will realize it is much better to accumulate Bitcoin during the bear season.
1432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your bitter-sweet experience in trading that you can't get over. on: February 25, 2023, 02:08:57 AM
(....)
What are those bad and good experiences you've had ever since you started trading?
Bad is when I started trading I didn't learn basic things like basics analysis on charts, supports and resistance, and risk management. Because I agree that I lost a lot during the early days of my trading but the good thing that I experienced was gaining a lot of lessons.
1433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Would you Describe Yourself As A Day Trader? on: February 25, 2023, 02:06:03 AM
Day trading involves risks, and every day trader knows that they need to have a level of risk tolerance. While risk-seeking day traders can take on massive risks in the pursuit of huge profits, risk-averse day traders seek to reduce the amount of risk they would encounter. As a day trader, how would you describe yourself? Are you risk-seeking or risk-averse?
(.....)
I can consider myself a day trader also because I do trades with this kind of timespan.
Being a day trader, it's difficult because from time to time you really need to watch or observe the price action, and through that, you will able to analyze the market.
The risk here for me still depends, based on your risk management and/or risk:reward ratio.
1434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gave investment advice to my grandfather. on: February 25, 2023, 01:46:50 AM
(.....)
My only question to all, was I able to give my grandfather the right advice??
For me yes, but if I were you, you need your grandfather first to educate what Bitcoin is, not only for investment so he will understand what he is investing in. Because if it's just your will or you are the only one who understands it, it's useless.
So that he will also know what he is getting into it.
1435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 24, 2023, 02:18:05 AM
I have seen a report today that in 2022 crypto payments showed an amazing rise. People are really accepting it and giving the value as they are giving to fiat payments.
(....)
There are already a lot of businesses tried to accept cryptocurrency for payments for their businesses. And accepting cryptocurrency to your business is made easy because there are already some platforms or software that will make it easy for you, like payment processors for cryptocurrency.

And take note also that there is some businesses that started to accept Bitcoin at the beginning but later on, they suspended it because of high volatility. I can give example is Steam before, they started to accept Bitcoin but later on they suspended it.
1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for gifting bitcoin on: February 24, 2023, 02:07:51 AM
(....)
Or bitcoin should only be given to those who can truly invest and yield profits.  Can you gift bitcoin to random people who may not make profit from it.
Using Bitcoin as a gift for me is more likely we are introducing Bitcoin to other people like advertising because let's say if you give a gift to a person who doesn't know Bitcoin, he/she will become curious and that's the time they will research what is Bitcoin, how it works, etc. Or even they will start to keep asking questions about Bitcoin to you which for me is a good act of promoting Bitcoin to other people.
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: February 24, 2023, 01:43:00 AM
Hi guys, Is it too late now to buy BNB? Or can we expect huge price drop in this year?
I think that the FUD about Binance's stablecoin BUSD was the chance to buy a cheap Binance Coin (BNB). Since for me, it was complete FUD, and BNB price really dumped due to that.
After all, Binance is still here, FUD is FUD, and we already have a lot of experience with FUD on stablecoins just like Tether before.
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield Farming -- Is it still a thing? on: February 24, 2023, 01:36:20 AM
I believe this is still a thing, yield farming also is one of the trend platforms on every chain network especially now that there are a lot of new networks, layer 2 or layer 1.
With the trend of NFT, I believe some volume from yield farming also transitioned to the NFT market.
Consider also the current market condition which is I believe most of the TVL of every DeFi platform decreased due to the bear market.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussing the upcoming market on: February 24, 2023, 01:32:07 AM
I was able to observe the growing of the Arbitrum ecosystem, a lot of numbers changed for the past few weeks on Arbitrum, you will see the Total Value Locked (TVL) increase and surpass Polygon (MATIC), and you will see also the inflow of stablecoins to Arbitrum network also increased, and the best news was also the daily transaction a few days ago on Arbitrum surpassed Ethereum.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where Do Lost Assets or Coins Go? on: February 23, 2023, 01:15:10 AM
I remember before on FTX Exchange, they have this service to recover coins if you just sent them to the wrong network.
Let's say you supposedly send USDT on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) but accidentally sent it via the Ethereum network or other networks, they offer it to recover but with some charges as far as I remember. I don't think some centralized exchanges also offer this. I saw on Binance article, that you need to contact them about this issue.
