How do you manage to find videos with above 400 views and actually relating to the topic? I think you meant without, not with. To answer your question: I'm TMI BTCITW!

Mmm today I learned that if you take a microwave, disable all of the safety features, make a crucible and stucco it in graphite, while you can melt metal in it, it spews radiation everywhere.
It's just microwave radiation. It's not actually "radioactive" Says the guy who said, "It's art! It's not actually a "coffee table"."

Sadly America is doing a great job at exporting this kind of stupidity across the world, I'm afraid this is nothing new but it does piss me off, just because somebody says something you find offensive doesn't give you the right to arrest them or ban them from saying it and if you do think that you're a fucking tyrant, children have no rights.
Happens all over the world, not just in America. Shame they abused their kid in such a way. What future would this chap have had he been not taken away from them? Maybe the damage has already been done though? Saddening either way. But, there's still hope that he'll grow up to be a translator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0j2dVuhr6sHe'll probably grow up to be this translator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-DxGoIVUWoGood news! Received this: and I replied with this: I'll forward your request to our public discussion group, since the money we donate ultimately belongs to our donors, but I'm not sure they will approve to qualify you, since the purpose of our group is to raise bitcoin awareness by convincing charities who otherwise wouldn't consider it to accept it on their websites.

Let me know what your opinions are of this one. From her website: http://www.elsahammond.com/2013/11/funded-by-bitcoin/I am fortunate enough to have converted a few pounds into Bitcoins a few years ago, and the value of these is enough to fund a small but not insignificant portion of Elsa’s campaign. Sadly, Bitcoin 100 would be viewed way outta bounds if we endowed this particular noble cause. Perhaps BFL's http://www.bitcoindf.org/ could do something for her. ~Bruno Kucinskas

Am I able to nominate a non-profit to be a recipient?
Bitcoin100 is not a structured organization, ad is owned and run by donors and anyone else wishing to help. So everyone is free to nominate and contribute. http://www.theroadhome.org/The Road Home accepts Bitcoin donations through a coinbase widget right on their donation page. On their Give link under Make a Donation, they have it split between cash donations on the left and Bitcoin on the right. They provide emergency shelter and run a winter shelter. Any idea when they added bitcoin donations? I'm also curious as to how they decided on it. This should answer your question, Rassah: http://www.meetup.com/Utah-Bitcoin-Community/messages/boards/thread/39924902Yeah, it looks like just after Thanksgiving this year. Does that disqualify them? Or is that recent enough and have an appropriate non-profit mission? Nah, I think it's still ok. Besides, December isn't a real month, since a large chunk of it is eaten up by holidays and vacation time Learning that December is not a real month, I also approve of this endowment. ~Bruno Kucinskas

And another one: Dmitry, A Hat for Harold ( www.ahatforharold.org) is a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Silver Spring, MD and has just begun accepting Bitcoin. Is Bitcoin100 still donating $1000 to nonprofits accepting Bitcoin? If so, I would like to submit A Hat for Harold. Thank you for the consideration. Sherri Sherri is a Seventh-day Adventist, but upon pursuing the site, I see no mention of, nor links to the religious org, which is good. I feel we can safely assume that Sherri will use all donations via any and all means to the utmost good. Now, I need to knit a hat. ~Bruno Kucinskas

I remember this, and there is no problem with this org whatsoever.
Rassah, please take care of this one ASAP. Thanks, bud.

Thank you Bruno. BeVolunteer has a "$1000 max per day" account with BitPay. Rassah, it would be awesome if you could split the amount into two transactions for two days. Thank you! Ente Was curious as to why, but figured it out--in case some other wants to donate on the same day, Bitcoin 100's $1,000 endowment via BTC would prevent them from doing such. Thanks for the heads-up, Ente. ~Bruno Kucinskas

I am starting again to contact NGOs to accept Bitcoin as donation option. [..] Hereby I get the things in my own hands now! *throws gauntlet*
Ente
Time flies like an arrow. It has been more than one year since I contacted an NGO close to my heart. I was in contact with the Board of Directors, with BitPay, discussed things with Bruno since 04.July.2012. Now finally, I am happy to announce that BeVolunteer, the NGO behind BeWelcome, accepts Bitcoin as donations! Some of you might know Couchsurfing? The biggest hospitality community, bringing together people from all over the world. They turned for-profit some time ago. Here comes BeWelcome, a registered non-profit NGO, community-driven, democratic, fair. And a pleasant bunch of people to hang out with. Which are over 50.000 members, by the way. http://www.bewelcome.org/donateThe Bitcoin donation option has very low visibility indeed. I already asked to add a logo, and linked to http://bitcoin.org/en/press. Can someone confirm these logos all are under public licence? It surely took a long time. This is a happy day for me. Ente edit: here comes a curious donation method. It was decided (via voting) to immediately convert the donations to fiat. Donating itself happens via https://bitpay.com/m/528203/checkout, which is linked in the donation page. I'll suggest a regular, static Bitcoin address plus QR there. I remember this, and there is no problem with this org whatsoever. Rassah, please take care of this one ASAP. Thanks, bud. Wow I've been looking for a good place to donate some BTC to. Where do the meals get passed out? and we have seen enough (press, photos, etc.) from OP to know this is legit? thanks and good luck going forward, I'll donate if it seems legit, I have to finish reading thread and hopefully get some responses.
You won't have to read this entire thread. http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-homeless-charity-seans-outpost/http://seansoutpost.com/

Yep, still here and not going anywhere. I know I've said it before but if not, there's a first for everything. I assumed I knew how bitcoining worked but I was very very wrong. Knowing the full ins and outs of bitcoining is like trying to find the meaning of life: it is what it is. I have however devised a plan that may or may not work. If it does, cool. If not, oh well. Because of how much of an ass I am, if anyone wants to keep me off a topic, donate to the addy in my siggy and I'll back off. If you're new here and don't understand, I'm known around these boards for flying off the handle at a moments notice.

Just came across this after a conversation with Phinn. Awesome thing you guys are doing and I am shocked that $1.25 stretches that far, amazing.
I sent some meals your way. Have a great New Years.
