I think everyone will need to resync their wallets (pools and exchanges) too the new chain created by Suprnova.
Any transaction made after Supr's chain took over will be gone more than likely. I don't see how there is another way except to wipe all with a new fork and relaunch.... this is a mess.
But for now ill go with what I do know... Suprnovas chain/pool is the one to be on now.
I will wait before I send any BTG to yobits etc. until we know they are on the new chain. Just store your coins on Supr's pool wallet for now I guess lol

I'm mining on suprnova. Wasnt aware there was a problem. Started mining about block 499450 or so. All my rigs seem to be running ok, but suprnova site has been lagging badly and balance hasnt been moving much last 2 hours or so.
Anyone sure whats going on?
Things changing by the minute. I'm staying on Suprnova... appears his chain is to be excepted... we'll see? |

Yes but if he gives up his chain for the devs with the original chain... then all work there will be lost. He will resync after stopping pool and rejoin the original chain and as miners come back online they will be on the original chain... now this could repeat itself if the hash is not spread around  And yes I will be screwed out of my work and mined BTG thus far.... EDIT: this just in on twitter So it seems the dev's reconsidered... And the chain is valid...

why is windows wallet from https://bitcoingold.org/downloads/ not synchronizing ?  8 years 44 weeks behind , Jan 3 year 2009 0 active connections to bitcoin network Have 10+ other wallet for other coins , all working perfectly , only this not working Very frustrating  its basically the BTC wallet all inclusive....  |

thanks for the free money BTG not sure wtf is going on but on paper am more than a bit richer  (you guys gpu mining this stuff or what yet? I don't GPU mine (ASIC) but curious about how it is going.....seeing's how I seem to have a 'stake' from the fork now) LOL, not sure exactly how that happened. Lets hope its spendable |

Yep here we go: statement on Suprnova:
Be aware that there's currently a chain-split happening and suprnova's chain could be "declared" as the wrong chain by the dev-team. However, it's the longest chain so usually it should be okay, it's advisable to not invest in mining until the devs give out an official statement. (Watch Twitter)

Suprnova tweeted and now "his" pool is on the wrong chain, so BTG devs are telling him. It appears his pool took over and created a new chain... hell ought to keep it with the miners lol and all other pools had showed orphans as a result from that point... so not sure what will happen but looks like no one has made any money now Start a new coin. Most pools have stopped mining except supr it seems, but whether or not now he keeps it running is yet to be seen.

Ok, it appears now that the mainnet has split into 2 chains... this is lovely. Probably because supernova has been raping the network and probably has the new chain now .. inadvertently a 51% take over lol (maybe)
but one thing is for sure... we got a problem Houston!

Well after all the bullshit getting this thing launched, albeit a little late... I fell asleep and woke up on couch an hour after launch lol Anyways all good. Hashing away just fine now with about 7000 h/s just as I had expected I would. Still got some hashing on Electroneum too Screwy launch  EDIT: Now I am learning there may be a blockchain issue? lol geez BTG GPUGOLD IS DOWN All they have mined so far has been orphans! lmao |

Its moving along. Was at like 2200 a couple hours ago. So maybe by 11pm est I can mine lol Meanwhile with their premine they are most likely running up the difficulty. Got a feeling this wont be a typical launch that way |

I will mine BTG as long as it pay's the electricity cost and I keep forever, once the mining rigs quit paying for their own electricity, then I'm done with BTG.
Now your talking my language lol I have all sorts of pockets of mined coins... waiting.... all I have invested is strictly - the mobo's PSU and cards etc. Just want to grab a few of these. I mean my rigs are making money right this instance. I kinda hate to switch them over for BTG but I cant resist seeing what the results will be |

Reading these posts, I begin to understand why BTG is down 37% on Bitfinex now, and was down 44% a little earlier. Just a rough launch, I take it.
YOBIT.NET prices mean nothing, there is a complete disconnect between PRICING this scam shit-coin, and what MORONS will pay for it, The price and futures has NO BEARING on reality, and honestly the people who trade don't give a fuck about reality, they all run on the assumption of the "Greater FOOL" that some dumb-ass, being dumber than them will buy at a higher price. All these DUMB asses that trade BTG future will end up holding the bag of shit. Can I ask you a question? um why are you even in here in this BTG thread... seems you have nothing invested nor plan too.. so? lol just wondering what it is... I plan to mine when its mainnet etc. Selective reader R we? I have said all along since early October I have been hacking this source, I have all the proxy's working, I have the block-chain now 99% complete, I have all the miner's tested. I would say this is "little bit" of suspicious. *Continuing eating popcorns .. so they got about 30 minutes to get there Block 499407 and start hashing on our favorite pools lol not sure where we are now... block The first pool most likely to except shares will be of course the BTG Gold Pool... naturally They stated 7 UTC time. It was more than 4 hours ago... Ya I know I have read 2 version for the UTC time but 7pm has been consistent  |
