Eth was bound to happen sooner or later, or another coin as such. Been hundreds of alts trying to be the next BTC. All I know is mining this coin (eth) or its clone, is a dream compared to BTC. I still believe bitcoin will rule in all ways for quite some time. But as halving approaches price will have to go up or btc miners will be dropping out like fly's... which could get pretty interesting. Bitcoin is here to stay and will ALWAYS rule them. Why ? Read this, https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/features-from-the-most-popular-altcoins-are-planned-for-bitcoin-1463675591Good read man, exactly. Both coins are probably pretty good investments right now btc and eth..... but btc has room to grow in many useful ways, just got to get the core devs and the miners on the same page (and investors) lol

g.soil.exe - Getting message " synchronization failed" "block downloading cancelled" (requested)
also, seeing invalid Markel root
So is safe to assume my wallet is not going to sync?
Just test mining soil again. All was fine before.
Also, hashing on supr seems ok.
Edit: now I no longer see any miners on supernova??? mine or others. supr having issues? or has this forked?

Hey gang, just lightly mining this coin and am trying to use the web wallet... when updating my account on Suprnova it says invalid address? is this an old chain address or test net etc? the one generated in the web wallet. k, not sure lol THX If the address starts with "Ts", it is a testnet address. MainNet addresses start with "D". You need to go to add wallet > create new wallet > advanced options and then uncheck testnet Hey yes it did start with TS" THX will try what you said EDIT: Yes that did the trick, all good now! THX!

I've been trying to install the windows wallet, but when running gexp.exe, it runs about 8 lines then stops at "starting server". I've disabled antivirus, ensured windows firewall isn't a problem with udp 42786, and also allowed that port in the router......... something seems to be halting gexp at this point, and I cannot find out what it is. If i run the wallet and look at the console, it says "No running gexp instance found, launching integrated console." Has anyone else had this problem (and figured out a solution!) Yes, same problems here. I have tried all the tricks I know with no luck. It all started about 5 days ago, or was the last time I send coins successfully. I tried the suggestion and method by revel" Which is pretty close to some things I had tried, but again no luck. Ok, if anyone has a trick we're not aware of let us know Running on Windows 10, all has been fine until about 5 days ago. May try on a W7 system.... PS: running v1.35 and it still loads and then stops (or at least seems to be just sitting there). Even tried creating an entire new folder (apps/data etc. ) It seems to be working now..... v1.3.5, made 3 send tx and all made it to the exchange. The gexp is updated and running as it should. I left the chain data folder alone in the apps/data. I launched 1.3.5 from its new folder and launched my old wallet from its folder and its working... so for now ill take it lol (and the coins I had were showing this way - note: when I first deleted the chain data folder from in apps/data, my coins did not show in wallet*) Will try to make sense of it all later Thx

Mm, imagine ethereum and sia working together ..... Now that would be a match made in heaven I suppose its conceivable as both are still developing and growing.....

Logo: hmmm? both have a neat look.... will have to think but leaning on the first as its cleaner looking and simple. And I agree with the little neutron balls or whatever... maybe center them up and then see? As far as EXP price,,,, it has not slowed me from mining the crap out of it

Holy Sh*t Is right lol.... This is already fairing well for the coin. OF course I am mining this algo, which is the best ever

americanpegasus Hey glad to hear you got a piece of the action. I certainly think you have made a good investment in Sia. Despite the previous technical arguments, This coin based storage, continues to develop and is and has been moving forward in the right directions since launching. Also I was fortunate enough to participate in the initial mining successfully. Which went well I might add Thank you for you comments and input. Good Luck, don't think you will need it though.
