@eXtremal

@eXtremal

I've had ~600 sol's at pool for over 24 hours and received 2 x 0.01 payments, The day before I received 0.6 ZEC for the same time period....

I haven't changed anything and diff hasn't gone up x58.. So..............

Account : http://coinsforall.io/#!/coin/ZCASH/wallet/t1TaUJh6gxUXaWtadtJGTRSzk327oLF4CCE

I'll just keep re quoting this until I get an answer, Thanks.
Have you tried to PM or email him? with the details. Rather than blowing up the thread lol  Grin

I would guess eXtremal is really swamped with work but it seems he is chipping away at lingering issues, including inaccurate payments.
ok, good luck  Wink

Follow up on the new Genoil. 4.2 Seems there is no big improvement on the new cards running the silent in zcashclient 2.0.

The big deal is, The new Genoil does run on my 7950's, 7970's and 280x's and even runs on old little 7790's and 7870. So, and on the older cards... not only does it run, it doubles the hash from the current non silent found in 2.0

Ok.... will report back after a couple hours. See if it crashes or hangs,,, stales etc.

Please eXtremal... get the new silent when ya can.

This is all preliminary btw   Grin

Why not using genoil version 0.5 ?the newest build
Hey well? I didn't see the .5 lol "yet" I am trying to  keep tabs on a lot of miners/pools, but I will look. Genoil versions change a lot  Grin
THX

EDIT: That genoil .05 came out 5 hours ago lol, but thx for the heads up  Grin Grin

I've been running/testing the new genoil 4.2 silent army on 2 x 7970's and my hashrate went from 13 to 26  per card! (53 now)  so far no crashes or hangs...

eXtremal PLEASE INCORPORATE THIS NEW SILENT ARY ASAP INTO YOU MINER

I want to test this and continue to mine on your pool  Wink

I am doubling my hash with it on my older cards that will not run the current version in you miners. I have not tried on my newer miners presently running older version  in zcashclient 2.0 (silent)

well what goes up must come down,,,, someone was pumping it lol

I managed to sell .036 zec a @ 3.25 BTC  Grin a quick $70.00 or so.... now it way down in 10 mins amazing

Edit: well now its going back up  Huh

@eXtremal you should probably explain how the payments work in your 1st post. too much noise here.
Ok!

ZEC bounce on Poloniex! Who sell today for 0.8BTC? Smiley
Why did I sell  Embarrassed What is going on... should gave waited lol oh no!
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 45 sol/s on RX480) on: October 31, 2016, 04:22:28 PM
ZECMiner from Genoil speeding of 7970, 280x has 24-30 Sol/s. Please optimate zcashclient miner, 7970, 280x with zcashclient miner has only 13-15 Sol/s
Now that would be a great improvement! I get 13-15 as well and have 3 x 280x and 4 x 7950's and 2 x 7970's would  be great to double those.  Smiley

I have not had much luck with Genoils miner. Not sure what I am doing wrong with it. Tried on 2 x 7970's, starts and crashes as soon as pool connects and starts hashing.

But I am quite happy with zcash client  Wink

I have been receiving regular payments 5 in all starting about 15 hours ago. I can see my miners on the stats page, even though one is not showing? It appears the stats page is being updated intermittently and is not real time, which is ok for now.

My miners have been running for almost 24 hours since I rejoined the pool. I have not had to reboot any of them since.

My point is: The mining software is stable, more so than what I experienced using the various versions of nheqminer.

The payouts are flowing to exchange wallet in a consistent fashion once minimum is met.

For all intent and purpose,  the system is working. Better than my experience mining on NH.

Man the miner stats page is looking good.... I've been so busy I just now am looking at it lol

Finally see my hash vs pools... looking spot on!  Smiley

silentarmy just made some updates, can you incorporate? https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy
Hey that's a nice upgrade. Not sure what others get but on silent army with a 480 8gb I am getting a solid 24-25. So..... this update would push it too 39?  I am all stock
Ok, see if eXtremal can squeeze it in lol hope so
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 45 sol/s on RX480) on: October 31, 2016, 02:57:08 AM
I just wish we had pool stats. Its gets old running to the back room and shed to check and see if miners are still hashing  Sad
Just restart miner every 600-900 sec.

On Windows you can use something like that bat...

@echo off

echo:

set executable=zcashgpuclient_silentarmy.exe

set runforseconds=800
set restartinseconds=5
set /a counter=0
timeout 10
:start
start "zcashgpuclient" %executable%
echo:
echo The software will run for %runforseconds% seconds
timeout %runforseconds%
taskkill /f /im %executable%
echo:
echo Restarting the software in %restartinseconds% seconds (%counter%)
timeout %restartinseconds%
set /a counter+=1
echo:
echo:
goto start
Hey just saw this, I will check it out  Smiley
THx!

almost was scared to experiment lol, as of now I have not had to reboot or touch any of my rigs for 7 hrs.... and sol rates are steady

Yeah! got my first payout from pool  Shocked  Cool  Wink

And my current balance is increasing as I decided to keep mining and take a chance, cause I luv eXtremals mining software so much!

I hit the minimum payout based on only 3 hours of mining or so, taint to bad,,,, just took a day and a half to know it lol, not eXtremals fault

Cool Beans~

THX eXtremal, will be watching for my next one.

Some asking for help with mining issues, if you can post your .conf files info.... maybe we can spot something. Outside of that if you rig is up to snuff and your(AMD) drivers are current, then you should be hashing. Kind of cut and dry right now using eXtremal zcashclient.

I am using 2.0 with the silent army on some rigs and the standard miner app with the rest.

Remember silent army appears to not work with 280x and below.

also make a note of you latency...  just curious as to what role that plays in sol rate if any? I would think, lower is better  Roll Eyes
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 45 sol/s on RX480) on: October 30, 2016, 09:52:15 PM
Look,

Its my belief that the dev here eXtremal is the real deal and will develop this pool along with his very impressive mining software  Smiley His name looked familiar,,,, so did a little checking and now I see some of his past work and contributions to crypto software's with other coins, Mainly XPM

I'm a upset and frustrated with everything as much as anyone else.... but as of now I do not believe any of this is a scam. Just a dev perhaps a "one man show" doing all he can. Going to give dev some time to straighten things out. If we get paid then that should be enough. I am still hashing at a good clip now with half my rigs using silent army without any notable issues or crashes on either miner.

Ok, eXtremal, keep at it, try to get us payouts as soon as possible and get us some good user stats on the pool page!  Wink

Keep us posted!  Smiley

Need  windows  vista  miner
Download a cheap W7 sp1 64  iso. somewhere or borrow from a friend and install. You don't even need to activate. Just turn off all update features, and your good to go lol assuming your drivers work, which if a vista system then 7 should find most important ones.

Now why did the dev disable the address look up showing are balances?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh  wtf weird

EDIT: Apparently he does not want us to know what he owes us.... but this is the last straw, going back to eth  Grin

Will keeps tabs on this pool and others... like I said I do like the mining software.

Just for the record, silent army is hashing fine for me with 380's and up. Does not work on 280x's or 7970's, and 7950's for me anyways. My one rig with 3 x 290's and a 390 went from 65 sols to 113 using silent army. Other rigs showed the same type of increase. All are hashing fine. However, when the pool goes down intermittently as it does, I have to restart each miner or the sol rate drops upon reconnection with pool. That applies to even the zclient running with no silent army. A lot of baby sitting!!!! Bout ready to go back to ETH until all pools get it figured out and the payouts get much larger and sprout is over.

I think this whole launch everywhere really sucked! and the coin devs did not do their homework and launched hastily resulting in many headaches for all of us as well as this pool operator.

My only issue here is no payout yet which is almost .002 ( now that part of pool is not working,, the address lookup, just glad I wrote it down ) so who knows I may never see it? My fault perhaps for jumping ship to another pool, but with that said I did get paid after hitting .001 from the others. That is an issue here. Need to lower payout and hopefully get rid of the 4% fee, that's unheard of. Plus the price of this new shitcoin is below BTC and dropping like a lead balloon vs the mining payout (fractions)

-I do like Silent army (awesome sol rate)

-I do like the sol hashrate from this zclient 2.0 as compared to other mining softwares

-pool needs a lot of work and real stats
