How much gas should I be using when sending transactions? What is the ideal amount? Is 1 gas equal to 1EXP?
Seems the default 90000 works. I tried different increments up to 20000 then gave up and plugged back in 90k lol. It works  Definitely 1 Gas does not equal 1 EXP I'd be broke if it did lol Thanks for the in put. I still can't send though, getting the "Could not unlock account: error: Decryption failed: MAC mismatch." I'm definitely entering the right key, anybody have some advice here? EDIT: It finally worked, strange. If I don't have any more problems I'll consider it total user error  Ya I got that same message but I think I was just entering the wrong pass lol, all good now. I just type a little slower |

Finally my test EXP (1) to Poli posted... about 30 mins. to do so... maybe I need more gas? lol At least these Ethereum based clones give us old GPU miners something to play with  |

The same thing happened with me on Ethereum, but never understood this until you shared your experience here. That means the more EXP you have, the double the gas right? Ya or something like that lol |

Because Sia absolutely needs more uploaders, much more than it needs anything else. What is the way/ways that you let people know of Sia's existence and capability? Tell your friends. Tell your Twitter/Facebook/Google/etc followers. Make a buzz. Above all: If you like/believe in the future of Sia, then use Sia!! There is still much to be desired from the Sia wallet. But, by using Sia actively you signal to hosts, developers and everyone else monitoring the network ( http://explore.sia.tech) that there is activity. Critically, as you gain experience you're in a position to help new users. Dropbox experienced exponential growth in its early days, much by utilizing social network (referrals). There's a new Sia users each day, but some leave due to simply issues with the wallet, firewall configuration etc. It is important we help these users, as each one of these early adopters could translate into hundreds, or even thousands, of users a few years from now. Yep, and I think the ones that may have left due to snags or frustrations with wallet will be back as development progresses. hopefully we will see thousands of users via early adopters in less than a few years lol  |

Excuse me, but this thread is mostly geared at the development side of Sia, not debating 6 year old P&D schemes etc. that everyone knows exist with all coins on any market... Please move along, I feel your wearing out your welcome here . Lets emphasize everyone is welcome here. Vulgar language is not however. I think any topic is open for discussion, as long as its related to Sia. If its about the price and trading of Siacoin/fund, then there's a trading thread exactly for that. Exactly  of course everyone is welcome here. Lets keep things realistic and on topic. But the vulgarity is a nonstarter. |

Ho Ho Ho looks like Santa is coming a day early? lol look'n good Just wait n see how things are come the 26th Dec after Santa has been n gone dude. 3 Month BTC Futures contracts expire on the 25th. Lots of strong hands have a big vested interests here and it is likely them who have brought BTC up and parked it here for this event. This rise from $300 has been on steadily declining volume, except for the (fake) CNY exchange volume. Looks like this post by MatTheCat may of been spot on |

I recommend buying at least 10-20 million now while price is low, then you wont have to ever worry about those "pump and dump groups", you can only win if that's all your concerned about is the coin value. Right now the price of Sia is not that important, other then anyone can begin using Sia for storage at a very very low cost. Why sould price be not important. Yes my son and I had fun working on that project together and Fuji was the lucky coin best part is anyone can mine with CPU or GPU, so was easier to explain and let people try it for a first mining experience. Hey everyone! Merry Christmas! Lot of news to catch up on in here, wow. Was just reading this article, http://dcebrief.com/bitcoin-alternative-dnotes-announces-company-launch-and-book-for-small-business-owners-in-2016/A special thanks again to Dnotes and Dyna for the help they provided in regaining control of this account "MMNC" which was hacked and stolen early this past spring. The help provided was enough for one particular forum member (shorena) to take notice and put a little faith in my efforts to prove I was the original account owner. With that help and from the friends here in Dnotes forum, and a couple of other forum members I was eventually able to get it back! But it all began here from a web screen shot of MMNC in this thread, with my btc address displayed. Thank you Dnotes and Dyna for finding and providing that, forever grateful.
