481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [TRIP] TripCoin | Hotels, Airline tickets, Car rental - Cashback | Rewards on: August 24, 2015, 07:37:44 PM
I do not know why accused us SCAM.
Introducing the project that has real business application. It is also a response to the real needs of the users reservation systems. We act as the official business of reputation, and all registration data were made available.
The system works in a test version.
We will provide all the source codes when you run the finished version and after extraction of all coins. Coins will not be able to buy, the only possibility of having coins will return part of the funds for the booking and activity from our partners.
I greet and thank you for your comments
We would appreciate your opinion and suggestions for TripCoin and its functionality.

Thank you kro55 for accurate opinion.

Because the probability of this being a SCAM is 99.99%.  Don't worry, I'm sure there will be a few fools to send you some bitcoin.

all is good, i min?
i have test this solution :  This miner is for pool mining https://github.com/mbkuperman/cpuminer-multi-opencl/releases

Yes you are mining.  You can put your address into the field on the home page of the pool and lookup your statistics.

i have run BBR and i have this message:  Status: Failed to initialize core
it is strange before i have not problem synchronization

The blockchain might be corrupted.  Did you shut down BBR daemon with the "exit" command last time it was closed?

If you're using windows rename the boolb directory in c:/users/yourusername/appdata/roaming to something like boolbold and relaunch the open-cl miner.  If it loads up and starts mining you can safely delete the old folder containing the blockchain.

On linux the directory would be .boolb

hi
what is the best pool for BBR?
Thanks.

With the difficulty as low as it is solo mining is a good way to mine.  Just the other day I hit two blocks in an hour using MBK's open_cl miner on a laptop with an Nvidia card in it.  A few days before that I hit eight blocks in about five hours on a box with two R9 280's.  Then I went hours without anything. But then I hit a bunch more blocks.  If you're going to pool mine I would use MBK's http://bbr.mbkpool.info/ to help spread the hash and because they have contributed the open source open_cl miner.

This miner is for solo mining https://github.com/mbkuperman/boolberry-opencl/releases  It requires you to download the Boolberry blockchain.

This miner is for pool mining https://github.com/mbkuperman/cpuminer-multi-opencl/releases.  Just configure with your address and start mining to one of the pools listed in the ANN

Where can I go to find the boolberry hashrate both current and historical?

There is a stats page at http://boolberry.com/state.html but it is currently not working.  It has current stats when it's working.  Chainradar http://chainradar.com/bbr/chart has current and historical charts.

Just started solo mining. Why do you find shares for solo mining? Haven't found a block yet but have like 34 shares, just not understanding why it shows that. Just to show you that miner is actually working?

I don't know why it shows the shares that don't find a block. But at least you know you're mining.

When you find a block you'll get a line immediately after the share that found it like this:

2015-Aug-21 09:27:23.852124 [miner 0]Share found 239790212, <28d3b69656cc4e619bb925a308c99ae3f43bf17265f07e1ea30e903000000000>

487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $10 in Bitcoin. What coin should I invest in? on: August 22, 2015, 08:33:31 AM
Save the bitcoin and don't buy any altcoin.

I downloaded the wallet and it syncs very fast. I have heard that CryptoNote has a large blockchain. How is this possible? Is it a SPV wallet?

If so what are the advantages/disadvantages?

Boolberry utilizes blockchain pruning which speeds up the sync times.  crypto_zoidberg incorporated some significant changes from the original cryptonote code.  More so than any other cryptonote coin.  crypto_zoidberg is considered to be one of the best cryptonote developers.  They haven't posted in some time but I'm sure they'll be around some time in the near future to give everyone an update.

For now the difficulty is low and it's a really good time to mine solo.

I know some of yuse guys want all coins to fail but at least try it before you embarass yourself with incorrect comments. This aint halves every 10 blocks coingen.

This is definitely a coingen coin.  Why are you always making posts defending these shitcoins?  Is it because you're involved?  Don't bother answering because the answer is obvious.

Is there an updated blockchain torrent for this or do we need to synch from the beginning?

Thanks

Not even going to bother with escrow?

If escrow is a concern, I can definitely arrange for one.

I know that you're not a new account and have a good trust rating but you would probably get more interest if you did.  I'm not questioning your trustworthiness but I just believe in using escrow for these types of offerings.

Dear Community,

We have been watching this thread for a while now. The reactions of the community are various.
It is impossible to react on every question there has been asked in the passed few weeks, thats why we have chosen to react to the community as a group rather than individual.
We have been meeting, mailing and calling with several possible investors. At this moment we don't have any promising results to share but we are awaiting feedback from several parties. We are trying to keep Checkcoin on the most important exchanges and we appreciate any help with that. The community of Checkcoin should not be afraid that the Team of Bitsend will ever leave this project before finishing it.

We will come back with a detailed update within 20 days.

Kind regards,

Bitsend

Lmfao

Fixed it:

Dear Community,

We have enjoyed the luxuries that the bitcoin we scammed has provided us. The wine and women were just what we needed.

It is impossible to provide the details of our drunken orgies with groups of young women due to the fact that we ouselves don't remember the details.  We drank only the finest champagne and dined at only the finest restaurants.

We have been meeting, scheming and devising a plan to repeat our scam but we need investors. At this moment we don't have any firm details of our next scam but will keep you updated on our progress.  We are trying to make as much btc as we can with as little effort as possible.

We will come back to scam people out of their btc within 20 days.

Kind regards,

Bitsend

This coin sounds good for me. The Franko guys used to be trustworthy folks. BTW don't listen to the "pure pow" freaks. A mixed PoW PoS coin going to be fine. ...also please ignore the ETH shills Smiley.

Four of the top five listings on coinmarketcap are pure POW.  There is nothing "freaky" about success.

With Ethereum going POS after a year, I also kind of like the idea of staying POW rather than just following the same path. If so, I really like the idea of smooth reductions slower over time.

Oh yes, the annoucement should be pretty soon. Things are getting closer! Smiley

No need to complicate things with trying to incorporate POS code into a new platform.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS [CRE] | SHA256 | SIDECHAIN | NEW BLOCK-DEPOSIT FEATURE | OFFICIAL THREAD on: August 13, 2015, 09:57:26 PM

Coming plans are among other things:
1. Creating a distributed decentralised exchange, integrated into the wallet. If it works as intended, it will be a first ever for any cryptocurrency.
2. Doing the same (distributed and wallet integrated) for pooling, integrating mining and a deposit market into the wallet. A deposit market is central to the coin, once deposits starts to have a larger influence. That will happen gradually, starting in the coming month.
3. A sleeker version of the wallet, where bitcoin integration can be disabled, if you don't want the bitcoin functionality or don't want to be able to claim bitcoins. This will be similar to so called SPV clients in Bitcoin.
4. In parallel with the functionality described above, work on getting the integrated Bitcoin wallet updated with the latest development will be done. This is necessary since the continual development in Bitcoin needs to be integrated into credits.

All good things.  Good to see things moving forward.

I didn't understand few things , mates. Which algo will be mining and when do we start that project.
The concept is interesting to me...

As of now we are sticking with the Dagger hybrid used by Ethereum. (GPU based) Many people are requesting we change to whatever algo they own the most rigs of, and I understand that reasoning, I would definitely want SHA-256 if it was based on what I own the most of.

Before this can launch we need a few more team members. We know people that can do this, but we also need them to have free time and to be available.

blockexplorer: node buildbot: python (Team members)

Not essential as we can do this, but could use pro web design and a smart contract guru.

Once we have the team finalized we will be a lot closer to launching.

Note: team members would be paid in EXP.

Good, there is no need to change the algo.
