481  Bitcoin / Hardware / Every Vendor is a Whore on: July 25, 2014, 09:01:56 PM
In case you did not know or were a newbie - every vendor of mining equipment is a whore - bar none.

the only one with any sense of business morality is Gaw and MAT

Everyone will sell you equipment at what they tell you is the best possible price and the price will drop even before the equipment arrives on your door step even if it only takes 3 to 5 days.

Get used to being treated like a Jon because they all lie in order to sell you equipment then drop the price on the equipment even before it arrives on your doorstep and then when you ask for a refund of the difference they go dead silent.

it's whores market - show them no respect because that's what they show you.

I knew it was a scam the minute I didn't see a Moon Unit being offered. Now, if you'll excuse me, I gotta get back to my The Crypto Zappa Project of Inventions.

Estonian Scammers aren't familiar with Moon Unit Zappa

they're still playing Elvis...
487  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] MoonAsics - Scrypt ASIC 240 to 960 MH/s - Scheduled for August on: July 22, 2014, 07:36:09 PM
Yea, i've been watching this thread but seems the MoonAsics guy hasn't bothered responding to anything anymore...

That and given the OUTSTANDING efficiency of this from a brand new company - I'd have to conclude scam as well. Plus they only take BTC, so no refunds.

Mods please close this thread

why? - the mods have not closed any threads where there's bashing of companies going on that have actually delivered miners - so why close this - it's best to keep the scams in public sight so no one gets duped.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 22, 2014, 06:57:42 PM
I will offer some simple advice...

google UK lawyers and contact one.

If you get 50% to 70% of your money back from a lawsuit you're ahead of the game because you can buy more right now with that 50% to 70% than your originally paid for.

hire an attorney.

I'm not a customer of theirs, but I've hired attornies on other countries in the past when I felt I was getting screwed.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] New VIAcoin pool [REWARD][DDOS Protected][0% fee][Fast payout] on: July 22, 2014, 06:50:27 PM
the coin has fallen flat on it's face - not worth mining - all profits were taken in presale - great for presale people tho.
490  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] MoonAsics - Scrypt ASIC 240 to 960 MH/s - Scheduled for August on: July 22, 2014, 06:25:59 PM
Slightly off topic - But I avoid preorders at all costs as well... But GAWMiner seems to have a promising new scyprt miner coming out called the vaultbreaker.

I used a CC so can get my money back if needed.. Would never do preorder unless I knew I could dispute or charge back.

I have no stake in GAWMiner btw, just a friendly "for your information" plug. Hopefully steer people away from this sham.

I would concur since at least gawminers has a history or delivering on time but then again you're kind of stuck because by the time they're delivered there will be machine priced cheaper with more hashing power - it's simply inevitable.

*Bubbleburst* Well my decision was based on the fact GAW CEO threw down the gauntlet and promised his miner would ship out before and be better than the KNC miner. So, I'm really just trying to get ahead of the curve and be an early adopter....

Not sure if it will work, but it was the early adopter of BTC that made the bigger profits. Hoping for the same with the Scrypt ASICs.

I'm sure he will beat KNC, but I pre-ordered two 250MH Mining Asics Units and spoke with the CEO today. I expect them mid august. It sucks to spend then wait...and watch as coins drop in value and difficulty rises. The only good thing in this whole mess of an industry is that there are so many new coins where there's an opportunity to make some money. The day ig sitting back and mining the same coins for weeks on end are over!

best of luck - I have a hosted A2 there (at gaw) and it's been a great box.

492  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Asics Technologoes - 6 THS Bitcoin Miner - First PICS! on: July 21, 2014, 10:32:40 PM
oh plueeze - you clearly have a ulterior motive to magically show up after a few weeks after no activity and attempt to discredit the company.

please - just go somewhere else to try and hurt their sales... because that's clearly your motive. just come out and admit it...

The only entity that's hurting MAT's sales is MAT themselves.  They still haven't proven they possess a working machine.

prove it!

scammers DON'T  get on flights and attend conferences.
scammers DON'T sign deals (that are verifiable) with chip manufacturers
scammers DON'T answer the telephone
scammers DON'T have their profiles and pictures on Linkedin and Facebook.
scammers DON'T invite people to their offices for visits and then welcome people into their office.

and that's just for starters - there's a hidden agenda here by the trolls...

no doubt about it....

BUT SCAMMERS NEVER SHOW A REAL TANGIBLE PROOF WHEN ASKED and they will say, promise and do ANYTHING else just to get your money!

My personal opinion is that you guys either resell of work for KNC miner....and the other resell Spoonfoolies...

I've been in touch with Marc from Mining Asics numerous times - in fact weekly and I know I'll have my machines in a few weeks - probably by mid July.

good luck fellas

Uhhh.... It is July 21st. We are passed the middle of July.

just like I said - probably...no biggie - Marc explained the time window to me when I placed my order and he explained the time frame to me again last week.

after having lived though a rushed release of a machine from someone else that caused me a lot of problems - I'd prefer to have it right than a little sooner. Smiley

I'm not concerned at all.

it's blatantly apparent that you have some some sort of hidden agenda so why not go elsewhere to grind your axe and spew your drivel since you're cyber stalking my posts...

So next phase is to checkpoint the wallets and recompile everything and roll that out to all the nodes.  We're getting close boys and gals.

and a listing on bittrex for the initial obligatory dump to occur after the inevitable price rise...
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] [VIA] ★ Viacoin ★ ~ the future of digital currency ~ ★ on: July 17, 2014, 06:31:11 PM
odd how the devs have been totally silent...

no mining - no updates - just an empty wallet where a bunch of coins were purchased and no distributions yet...

things that make you go hmmmmm....

are you prepared to make an apology when the dev continues to give updates and the coin turns out not to me a scam?  hmmmmm

no apology will be necessary since I never said it was a scam I just said what I know to be factual

have you gotten your coins yet has mining started has the deposit wallet been emptied?

do you personally know or have you met any of these people do you know where they live so if they have an absconded with your money you could at least go throw stones at their house??? do you at least know their real names?

trust me when I say that I really hope this turns out to be a great investment for all of you and I am looking forward to mining the point no one more than myself understands better that risk reward and return go hand in hand and the higher the risk typically the higher the reward I hope it works out for all of you
