shows network hash already - who's mining already before the launch?

The announcement says the pools " will be ready few hours before launch time for pre registration". Maybe they got the wallets early and one started mining too soon.

it would show up in the pool stats but there's no block found, block finders, etc

Indeed Cheesy, ok, i will NOT mine this one... it is already scam before it started. Again a newbie account too, so we all know what that means.... only one post....

it's been sitting on block 140 for the last 15 minutes...

not sure why there's hash showing

when they run out of coins it will be the end of "Civilization" as we know it...

LOL

R.E.M.? Smiley

Six o'clock, TV hour, don't get caught in foreign tower
Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn
Lock him in uniform, book burning, bloodletting
Every motive escalate, automotive incinerate
Light a candle, light a motive, step down, step down
Watch your heel crush, crush, uh-oh
This means no fear, cavalier, renegade and steering clear
A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies
Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives, and I decline

and I feel fine!

1407  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: May 16, 2014, 07:45:42 PM
that is what they've been quoting right from the start - better to be realistic than lie like so many of these companies do then incur the wrath of the public.

for $44/mhs (scrypt) I don't mind the wait and plugged it into my calculations when making the decision to buy or not. To be honest I don't mine LTC or Doge so I could care less about their difficulty levels 10 weeks from now, I mine mostly new coins that have large upsides.

the scrypt  miners are slowly inching down toward the $100/mhs mark so it will take a quantum leap before they get to $44/mhs but may by the time these units arrive - regardless - time will tell.

It won't take a quantum leap in order to jump from 100$/mhs to 44$/mhs. You are comparing GPU-s to ASICs, not ASICs to ASICs. Last year in bitcoin mining we had a very rapid decline in prices. I'm expecting that too when it comes to scrypt since more companies will release their own chips very soon.

by who?

give me one example please.

and I'm not comparing gpu's to asic - I'm comparing asics to asics....

you can't even begin to compare gpu's to asics - it's like comparing goats to cheetahs

how about the value of the first blocks? i hope it's not like 0 or other retarded number

What is your expected delivery date for your scrypt miners from MAT?

between 7/21 & 8/15

Wow, thought it'd be sooner.  Quite a ways off.  Usually a good rule of thumb is if it doesn't ship within a couple weeks, stay far away.

Well, good luck with that order and hopefully they come through in that time frame.

actually I choose not to spare you - specifically Smiley

Come on man.
Everyone appreciate your effort but you can create new topic where you can voice your concerns about lightningasic business practices.

This thread is about 30MH miner and instead of talk about that we are reading moral lessons from a guy who isn't even a customer.
This might raise questions who are you paid buy.

YES you are paid for this posts.

sounds like you work for them, but regardless I do wish them the best of luck.
1416  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: May 16, 2014, 03:34:22 PM
well I do not work for the company, but I do have two scrypt miners on order and Marc told me they would be at the Vienna BTC Show next weekend showing off this new machine and he told me it would be mining there so people will be making videos of the unit hard at work and marc told me they would too very soon.

Not hard for a scammer to tell you they will be at some Bitcoin conference or other. It proves nothing at all.

In fact I have seen another scammer use exactly this technique: "I will be at so and so Bitcoin conference next week where you can see my hardware mining". Turned out to be a scam.

Why would anyone pay without first having proof??

not only will they be there - but be there exhibiting their unit and of course you are welcome to stop by their offices in Denmark - others have.

people will have pay first after having done what they consider to be adequate due diligence and be first in line to receive the most cost effective miner made to date.

Smiley

I would say the fact that you were the forum member who started the other thread advertising this manufacturer (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=609277.0) is unusual to say the least...

Are you associated with this company?

no

How come you're the only one hyping them up then?

So far they only have one pre order customer(you).  No one else in the forum has ordered.

how do you know that no one else on the forum has ordered? do you work for them?

I'm not hyping them - I'm merely posting what I know to be facts at his point in time. The pictures are a fact - the video is a fact.

they're attending a show next week with their miner - that's a fact.

I have two scrypt miner on order from them - that's the extent of my relationship with this company aside from doing my due diligence on the individual involved and their backgrounds before ordering.

I figured I'd just share the news with all of you - although it seems there are some that really don't appreciate me sharing it and have been down right hostile and accusatory - and I can't figure out why - because I've never done anything to any of these people.

I wonder why they feel so threatened by the existence of a new piece of mining hardware - perhaps they have some sort of hidden agenda?

Doesn't their hostility make you wonder too?

If you want to believe I have some sort of ulterior motive - that's certainly your right, but I invite you to come visit me in my office in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and look for mining hardware or any indication that I work for this company. Far from it, I'm just an IT guy with a regular job who likes to mine and like computer hardware and happens to like the company I chose to provide me two pretty fast scrypt miners soon.

what's wrong with endorsing a company you believe in and have faith in - believe me - after being jerked around by a number of chinese scrypt miners - these guys are a breath of fresh air and it's refreshing to know real business people are involved in the industry who understand how to treat their customers., instead of a bunch of shysters.

Trust me - I was really holding my breath the day I wire transferred off my deposit to Denmark but over the past several weeks I've come to have faith they'll deliver - hey - if they don't shame on me and there will be no worse critic than myself - but for right now - I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I also say really nice things about Simon at Hashra - I've bought several items from him and have one of his new 24 MHS units on order which I hope to have by the end of the month. I endorse him also because he's been straight up with me, honest, communicative and not beyond answering some tough question I've had for him.

flipstyle

just for the record these guys have delivered lot of Gridseed units and a friend of mine took delivery yesterday of the 90 MHS unit - he's in germany and it's up and running today.

it aint the gloom and doom you espouse but you make some valid points....

my suspicion is that the units are lte and for reasons unknown to me the owner 'jack' is afraid to post the bad news - but some news is better than no news....

perhaps it's just the custom in china but when i worked for Motorola our chinese business partners were always very up front about delays.

thanks

it's about time they fessed up....

strange though - I have a skype conversation I'll post where Jack says : "all units have been shipped" which I'll post later today.

so what makes anything think they should believe you guys now?

yea - "The Troll" as you called me aint goin way and even though I was ready to send you the money for a 30Mh box I wouldn't but a system off you guys if you were the last mining company on earth....

Karma's a Bitch Aint It. Smiley

If you read my latest post, i said we shipped everything we had in stock, and for the ones we didnt yet, we compensate.
Please stop  posting hate in our topic , you are welcome to say your opinion, but not same stuff 10 times / day.
All our customers will be happy in the end.

Trust me - it's not hate at all.

It is constructive criticism - every word I wrote could have been avoided if YOU had just taken the time to let these people know...the people who sent you their money and 'were promised shipment in 3 to 5 business day' a status update from you.

Whether you realize it or not $3,500 IS A LOT OF MONEY to a lot of people and they deserve the truth. I can only hope you guys have learned a valuable lesson and that is this: just be honest with your customers in a timely fashion - in the end they respect you for that - it's that simple. Don't wait until the drumbeats of discontent can be heard around the world and potentially damage your business.

I wish you guys nothing but success - seriously.

Do you realize that on this forum if OP does not respond within 5 minutes all hell is unleashed ? SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM , MY ROI MY ROI MY ROI

Yes it's true people on here have patience of a 1 year old child.

Did you purchase anything from LightingAsic ?
No ?

Then please spare us Smiley

actually - people have been waiting nearly two weeks....

and no I did not purchase anything and won't because I don't like being lied to my companies I sent money to prior to delivery.
