481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell me Secure Mobile bitcoin WALLET Please on: January 27, 2016, 04:03:07 PM
Guys i m looking for the most secure android bitcoin wallet with fallowing features
1.Complete control over my bitcoins-Only i should have private key to my wallet nor the wallet providing service like coinbase.

2.Easy complete backups-Even if that wallet service got hacked i should be able to recover backup on another service.

Please tell me if such wallet exists for android.

Electrum is good in all its security features as well as accessibility. You can go for it. Have a try with electrum, sure you will feel its better than other wallets that are found in the market. Blockchain wallet also good. The best option found in blockchain is that it gives suggestion on various traders with whom we can make trade based on the trusty feedback from various users.

Electrum is available on android? Because I am pretty sure it's not.

Mycelium or Copay.

Copay doesn't lets you have the keys, they provide a seed now but I don't know how to use it to extract the keys. I had some problems with it recently and I wouldn't recommend it until there's a way to get the private keys out.
482  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Experiencing problems with Payza withdrawal by bank transfer on: January 27, 2016, 03:29:41 PM
It already shows completed on my account. I will update this thread as soon as I get the money in my bank account, but it should all be good.

Good to know, so do you just deposit BTC in your account at payza and withdraw it in your bank account? That sounds as easy as doing it with coinbase but they're not available worldwide and I am guessing payza is.

How much fee do they charge for the whole process?
483  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need feedback about my "gambling" site. on: January 26, 2016, 05:41:26 PM
Hey, 3 weeks ago I launched www.FaucetGame.com

It's been doing great since launch and now I'm looking for feedback, to see if everything is in place.

So far, I have added 5 games. BlackJack, Dice, Slots, Wheel and Plinko.
I'm not a gambler myself, but I'd appreciate if I could get some feedback, on how can I improve the site, which other games to add, etc.

Appreciate any feedback, good or bad.

I just saw it but couldn't get pass the adblock warning, which makes me wonder, is it a gambling site or a faucet?

Because gambling sites don't have ads, people will not deposit to watch ads while playing.
It's a gambling faucet. You get free satoshi and you play and increase your amount (It's rigged so it favors the player, not the house)

The only reason there's adblock, are the ads I'm running there. That's all Smiley

Ah okay, then ads are vital because that is the only source of income you have. Sorry I got confused since this is a gambling board and your site more or less belongs in Micro earnings as it is a web based game and maybe you'll get more feedback if you ask this question there. But it looks good, so GL with your site.

485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be Satoshi's opinion on blocksize debate ? on: January 26, 2016, 04:43:06 PM
His first opinion would be to don't spread fud that without hard fork bitcoin will be dead and trust the core developers for they will make it good as they always have.

People should make note and start using quttera.com or similar services before clicking on a link or use virtual environments to open links which you're not aware of. Especially if your bitcoin wallet is on the same machine.

There are 7.24 Bitcoin Matched.

The lay bet works great with horse racing, it is actually easy to tell which horse will not win than choosing the winner.

Don't fall for fuds. Read, research and make your own decisions, I believe in bitcoin and that it has a bright future.

thank you bringing the contest here in the forum but my question is, why do we need to enter our full name on the site? email address i think is enough for it. can i use fake personal information?
Good question. Makes this seem more like a mail-grabber than a real contest. Going to look the site over.

The contest in itself seems unreal to me, all they ask to do is join and share the link, nothing is mentioned about how will they choose the winner.

Seems to me like free way to advertise, in the end they will choose one of them as winner with a fake name.

tl;dr I am not joining.

https://forum.z.cash/

ive noticed one of bitcoin dev has launched Zcash thing coin. very cool forum template to be honest. but beside that there is nothing there.

i will never know because i won't click that creepy link.....

That seems to be a legit forum link. I've found the same link on the zcash blog.

To OP:

I don't think that this early alpha zcash (zerocoin) have too much impact on the current bitcoin prices.

I still went ahead and checked the link for nasty things and they say its potentially suspicious.

Whatever that means.
491  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin newb, Just made a Coinbase, ID Verify? on: January 25, 2016, 03:22:21 PM
Hey guys, I've been on the board for a while Im a Bitcoin Newb, and finally figured out how bitcoin works and what-not.

I made a coinbase wallet, put my bank info on it and it takes 4 days to get funds in the account. Should I ID Verify the account? Should I add a backup credit card to get funds faster?  Is it safe? I thought the whole purpose of bitcoins was to be anonymous. Also is there anything else I should do and is coinbase a good wallet to use? I like the iOS app and website looks easy to use.  Just want to know from an experinced bitcoin user.

Thanks.

Its safe and almost all the exchanges require you to fill KYC forms and submit IDs for verification, if you want to buy anonymously then you'd have to find someone to trade with cash or find trade partners/exchanges that offer other payment methods which doesn't include banks but they're unsafe, so its best if you buy with Coinbase.

Also would it be best to use blockchain.info as a middle wallet to make transactions and use coinbase as buying bitcoin and selling bitcoin back to checking account? Or would I be better off going with circle?

Any help would be great thanks!

Blockchain.info is a web wallet and is NOT recommended to store larger funds with, you should read and learn a few things about wallets and cold storage in general before hand. Circle is similar to coinbase and they're not exactly wallets but more wallet service providers.

This is a good read about bitcoin wallets: http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-to-store-your-bitcoins/
492  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: restore electrum wallet from seed issue on: January 25, 2016, 03:08:45 PM
Did you had any transactions after that? Is the wallet showing the address which contains the funds?

If the light is green as you say it is, even after changing the servers then that means it is completely synced.
493  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: some faucet website are racist on: January 25, 2016, 03:02:50 PM
Maybe its time you guys move on from faucets, they're literally a waste of time.

And in their defense, running a faucet is not easy, they barely make enough to run the faucet and they're being targeted by bots which means most of the faucet amount they pay comes from their own pocket.
494  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Experiencing problems with Payza withdrawal by bank transfer on: January 25, 2016, 02:12:07 PM
Better move this to scam accusation IMO,cause there were no replies from Him since months and the last one ws in the thread below. If he is ignoring it then its likely scam.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1255449.msg13025411#msg13025411

What is that has to do with what OP is asking?

The problem OP seems to be having is with Payza.com, not with any member in particular.

@OP, try contacting them on FB: https://www.facebook.com/payzaglobal/ or Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Payza/

Since it is public, maybe they will respond there faster.

What you guys expect in the SA-ENG test match? Is SA worth betting at this moment or is the match heading towards a draw?

Want to place some bet on it but confused..
497  Other / Meta / Re: Things not against forum rules but frowned upon by community! (Beta!) on: January 23, 2016, 01:26:53 PM
-snip-
Some enterprising folks are circumventing the begging rule by making the subject of the beg an altcoin, thereby hoping you will pay bitcoin to buy their worthless coin.

I see.. I don't visit the altcoin section at all, so didn't know about that and I doubt they can be stopped or negged for doing this.
498  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any way to get BTC back from an unused wallet? on: January 23, 2016, 01:11:46 PM
There's some contact info on their page here: https://bit29.com/sy/web/contact see if you can call them up and maybe just maybe they're legit and you get your coins back. But I doubt it and in which case I would suggest you post this in scam accusations section with proofs, so others can be saved.
499  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cheap international calls via letsBrik using Bitcoin on: January 23, 2016, 12:55:06 PM
Nice site for people who make a lot of International calls, if the voice quality is good i.e. I rarely make any but will try it if I need to in future. GL with your services.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Receving payment in Bitcoin. client pays with Visa ? on: January 23, 2016, 12:47:31 PM
Afaik there isn't such a service which will automatically turn your card payments to Bitcoin, you'll have to do it the old way, receive payment with visa cards and find an exchange and convert them to bitcoins yourself.
