Hi Sorry for the delayed reply.
This site is an imposter.
Hummer Miner's legit site is http://www.hummerminer.com/.

Two 'newbie' accounts fighting it out on which is an imposter. Sheesh.....do some proper research and have someone on Bitcointalk review your units with a decent account\!

PM me whoever is real. See my Legendary status on Bitcointalk. I've been on 7 years and have a 24+ Trust rating and have done escrow and reviews before.

IF you are frigging legit....send me a unit of whatever size or flavor of BTC/Crypto you prefer and I'll vouch for you on here.

No one is gonna pay attention to newbie accounts....it is full of scammer sites.

You need a proper review by someone that is long term and legit on Bitcointalk.

Private Message (PM) me for details on working something out for a proper review.

Brad

I agree - someone above newbie status and that has been here for a year or more at least needs to review this. too many newbie accounts pushing hardware does nothing for gaining confidence of the forum members.

yeah I was just tweaking (BOTH) scammers on this thread the OP and the other guy the OP said was a scammer....obviously ANYONE would have replied to anybody on here
this
with SOMETHING even if it was an email to a salesperson to start a conversation. So thus, this is a scam..I mean if your trying to push a product this is 'sales 101' also never
believe ANY ASIC product of any BTC/Crypto flavor unless the 'Coindesk' site does an article on such. I mean they have been known to 'beg' for a new product for news stories.
That has been my recent rule of thumb....a couple simple emails and you have exposure here on Coindesk or any of the many Youtube videos or channels like Voskcoin...I mean frigging really...Voskcoin would reply within a day for 'legit' ASIC NEW product info and his youtube channel has 100,000 subscribers...etc ...this is not that hard to do. Smiley

So without doing ANY of the above, which would probably take less than 20 min to toss out to the above...it has to be a scam...no one with 'real' products are that stupid.

I suppose I should not feed the 'fake' ASIC mnfg's with posts huh? Smiley

486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: May 17, 2020, 07:41:03 PM
Is there a paper wallet for SIA?
If so, is there a lighter and easier app (similar to Coinomi) for importing the paper wallet?
Since the core portfolio is very heavy and takes a long time to synchronize?

No paperwallet for Siacoin that I would trust.

Also, the Siacoin Wallet by Sia-Tech kinda sucks. (1) When you have something come into your wallet from another address it simply shows the transaction ID
not the siacoin address the amount came from. They should also have the Siacoin address on the main page for that amount so you don't have to go further down a
2nd or 3rd wallet page to find the info. I mean the transaction ID is on the front page, big whoop put the receiving and sending addresses there as well.

Also why not have the Sia-Coin stats page for the explorer on the wallet as a button as well? A lot of info on sia-stats could also just show up on a page...unless
as I suspect their explorer function for the sia-stats is so slow this is unwieldy.

Anyway, last I looked at those was issues that I thought were frigging less than elegant.

I'd stay away from the paperwallet though...Sia-Tech last I heard says it is NOT supported.

487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: May 13, 2020, 12:44:48 AM
Why they are migrating to BitGo wallet? I feel that step is illogical for them. IMO, Foundation that wish to develop the unique ecosystem must definitely to  be stick to the own wallet.

important info in the same paper:

"Starting Mimblewimble testing

Litecoin recently posted a progress update on the cryptocurrency codebase’s Mimblewimble integration, claiming that a testing framework had been built and codebase integration had started. According to developers, Mimblewimble should be running on the Litecoin testnet by the end of the summer".

too little too late and bad timing with coniv-19 pandemic...what has it been 2 years since they proposed this? Great ideas, but dev wise little progress.

Also can't they do more than ONE modification of the code? Imean other 'tweaks' vs just all in on ONE major fix for years?

Also the usual 'lack' of PR and push compared to other altcoins.

Not too impressed.

I also would be with my OWN money that 'testing' will take another year.

sheesh.

Brad

Brad, I am not convinced by your arguments.

however for the ONE modification I am not sufficiently aware.

I think that some altcoins have room besides the King BTC.

To sum up my frustrations above in a more 'overall' level...lets just say that the amount of PR and or hype and or 'movement' of more than one coding issue with improvements

on LTC to me leave a lot to be desired. With the exception of SegWit most stuff like the non-ever Debit card and mimblewimble seem to take years to get up to snuff or moving.

Other altcoins just seem to leave LTC in the dust. So ..not too impressed as of late, as LTC is still 'assuming it is silver to LTC gold' when the sh*tcoins BSV and BCH have seemed

to take over that spot, at least price wise. Also more than 90% of LTC development has been just copying BTC code..I approve of mimblewimble...but the lack of any urgency or speed

in getting things out or even getting info out on this coin is lousey. Indeed most NEWBIES know much more about BTC and BCH and BSV these days and when I try to explain LTC

they are less than impressed.

Just saying, you'd think for a coin where the founder is known this project could get a bit more 'traction'

also, above has been this way since I first started mining LTC in 2014...

end of rant

489  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB Obelisk SC1 miners...with pump willing to pay more now :) on: May 10, 2020, 09:18:14 PM
With the current BTC/Crypto/Siacoin Price Dump I'm still looking to buy Obelisk 1st Gen 3 board units. A 3 board would be 800gh at 750 watts.

Also any 2nd-4th gen Single Board (2 slots) units at 550gh @450 watts or 2nd-4th gen DUAL card units (both slots filled) at 1100gh and 900 watts.

Not offering a great amount..but placing a bet that BTC/Crypto/Siacoin will come back and this is a long term IF such comes back of 'hopefully' under a

ONE year ROI.

To be truthful, you can take my bet and just mine them and make do what I'm doing as a long term bet.

or

You can sell them to me or someone else and takes the BTC/Crypto/Siacoin or whatever at these prices and HODL.

Me, bored, pandemic and all, ASIC miner addicted...stuff to do.

Hopefully...either of the above will get us to the same place, but if you are tired of hosting these units and have your ROI already and wish to sell

contact me. Check out my Profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=99165 my Trust Rating is 24+ been on www.bitcointalk.org 7 years 1 month.

We can do 'handshake' deal and/or escrow.

Also, remember you 'likely' can get a better price off of eBay if you want to wait..this This is always the case for most ASIC equipment of any flavor..just to be upfront.

Whatever you choose, sell or keep and mine them, we all better wish for these BTC/Crypto/Siacoin or whatever flavored crypto coin to pump in value or none of us

will be 'sweating' mining or buying this Obelisk equipment in 20/20 hindsight...we will have way, way worse problems than that! Knock Wood!

anyway, PM me if you need to move some of these or even some parts of either model above

later

490  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: May 10, 2020, 09:03:47 PM
well...was this just something of a whale dump in order to take advantage of Coinbase crash? or Is it something as simple on how a big miner (or group) is trying to slam down and get out other miners to capitulate before halving to get more mining control. Like Bitmain mined at a loss for 3 months to try the BCH pump/dump scam?

lastly, hell...we may find out that BTC/Crypto prices are a  'precursor' to the Stock Market Dumping big time due to more reality of Covid-19 Pandemic....BTC/Crypto seems to drop dramatically in price ..just before the Stock Market dumps etc, probably because BTC/Crypto is ahead of such curves in that has 24/7 trading.

We will see. Chump or Champ. Moon or Doom. Boom or Bust

BTC/Crypto: Always Drama! Sad

491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL]Prohashing – Professional cryptocurrency mining made simple on: May 10, 2020, 08:55:49 PM

Need to add Siacoin...those miners are still out there and profitable. Just as an aside Smiley

Blake 2B

Obelisks run Blake2B-Sia since the Algo Change. The network is 5.5PH I think it is.

Blake2B-Sia would be nice if added to Prohashing.

Thanks

Yikes, flash crash, more shenanigans. Guess the big boys aren't done accumulating.

All those folks having to shut off their S9s still have next month's data hall bills to pay.....so much for their HODL plans. :

My guess, in general, is miners pushing this sell to play it safe with halving 2 days away..due to real-life economic plan ahead issues...

then everyone else piled on. Day Traders, your mom, etc. Panic/Panic/Panic.

But what do I know according to Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize winner in Economics..this whole BTC/Crypto thing is doomed to beanie baby bust.

Then again, I'm too dumb to know any better. (I think Paul Krugman has been claiming this since around 2014 at least)

Moving on through the Zen of Cluelessness is how I roll. Smiley

Brad

(soothing the balm of BTC/crypto addiction) Smiley

I´m about to puke..

We dont deserve this 2 days before halving..

I could not agree more. This 'sucks' to be 'eloquent' about it all.

Great timing with the halving here in a few days, the Pandemic, and the USA Tariffs, etc.

Sorry you had to go Joe007 ! That 6800$ Bitcoin short was painful but I'm sure your still in the money...
Enjoy the ride playa  Shocked Shocked Shocked Cool
https://cointelegraph.com/news/new-bull-market-signal-bitcoin-bearwhale-vanishes-as-btc-hits-10k

in the article it states this however

From September 2019 to April 2020, Joe007 realized $61 million in profit. In the same period, all other whales on Bitfinex realized a $25 million loss. Joe007 outperformed all traders listed on the leaderboard combined by $86 million

it also states

His departure came after a short contract he placed when Bitcoin was hovering at $6,800 hit $20 million in unrealized loss, resulting in a $15 million loss on paper for the whale. Joe007 realized a $5 million gain in April, reducing the total figure by 25%.

So he still came away with at least 50 million on his bets/profits before the last bet at $6,800.00

sh*t....Why can't I be wrong, yet still right?

Any corrections welcome...but this is what I got from the above article.

WOOT 10k!

But I need to see like 10,300-10,400 to break out of the bear since 20k..

I need $11,000 BTC for obvious reasons. (do the math).

IF someday we were stable over that price by whatever amount...my 'clutch butt cheeks on BTC price' would be eased quite a bit.

But I will probably be caught in FOMODL at around those prices, it is how I 'roll' Sad

Blockstream has a 'spendy' satellite solution.

I assume OuterNet that I highlighted here would still work just fine, as well as any other 'homebrew' versions.

here are the interesting links on such and speed increases
