501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: November 27, 2023, 11:19:51 PM
For now, perhaps the $7 payrate is the highest. However, if calculated per week, the tumbler campaign only pays $175 per week. The sinbad sig campaign promises bigger payouts with a maximum payout of $225 per week, and the highest weekly payout is held by mixero with a maximum weekly payout of $250
If you look at the required post count and the payment rates for the traditional ranks (no merit ranks) then the Tumber.io pay rates are the real deal for someone who doesn't post much. I don't know how long the campaign will last, but most people obviously prefer longevity of the campaign vs. very high pay rates that could just last for a month.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Avado or Daapnode for staking 32 Eth on: November 27, 2023, 09:56:02 PM
If you decide to purchase either of the two, you won't need much technical knowledge to run it. It's more like plug and play with a few clicks, which an average user can do. Like you said, some seems to be more expensive than the other, and it might be for a reason

The documentation about the two is readily available on both sites and Ethereum.org
1. https://ethereum.org/en/run-a-node/
2. https://dappnode.com/en-us
3. https://ava.do

In case you have any burning questions; their more active online communities can also help you out. Ethereum's community decided to move away from Bitcointalk sometime back, so you will find those who are so much into the developments happening in the Ethereum ecosystem there rather than here.

503  Economy / Lending / Re: $30 Short term loan on: November 27, 2023, 09:30:30 PM
But you already have another active loan which is yet to be paid. Isn't it discouraged to have multiple loans? I think I remember someone who tried to get multiple loans, and they almost tagged his account.
I know it may seem a small amount, but this is a disaster waiting to happen. You may fail to clear up the multiple debts in time and mess up your account, which isn't something good.
504  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Geld in Blockchain on: November 27, 2023, 02:12:51 PM
The transaction does not exist or is invalid according to different block explorers. Where were you sending money from?

Can you also share the email address that sent you the message? It could be a fake message.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: TheMinerzCoin mining on: November 27, 2023, 02:05:31 PM
It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator.
This part got me cracking up  Grin

Yep, all the other older cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin were never decentralized. Here is the first one ever. The creators of these coins. Do they even put any effort to be original these days?
506  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam or not ? Transer funds Require Top up on: November 27, 2023, 12:59:19 PM
thank you for your answers guys.

i will be more careful in the future  Smiley
If you are not sure about the site or exchange. Always ask here in the forum before you deposit any money or start using it. And do not just trust random online people who offer you "investment" ideas

is there a place where i can report this website ?
You can start by reporting it to the domain registrar (Namecheap, Inc.) so that it gets taken down.

507  Other / Meta / Re: offordscott - ban appeal on: November 27, 2023, 11:25:44 AM
Did you got already in touch with the Account Recovery Team ?
If not you should be try it again or maybe you you missed something that it takes so long in your case !
Maybe @Cyrus can be looking about that thing and why there is nothing new about your banned Account.
Can the accounts recovery team do anything about the bans? I thought unbanning was exclusively done by the Global Mods and admins. In this case, OP's account wasn't just locked like Harizen's account was if I understand well.

Have you ever staked your Bitcoin address?
Stake your Bitcoin address here
This could help to prove your in control of the account. (Now)
Nope, he never staked any. They only way of proving ownership of the account would be for the admin to look at the IP logs before, during and after the alleged hack and also proof of ownership of the email address used for account registration.
508  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] No KYC "Automated" Prepaid Cards are now available on Stealths on: November 26, 2023, 10:47:35 PM
There is no need of making multiple Announcement threads. I just saw an older thread of your service, which I think had some good engagement in it. The forum rules do not allow this unless if you plan to lock the other thread.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: WTB: Solana/XMR // Long-Time Trusted Member (Escrow Welcome) on: November 25, 2023, 11:55:31 PM
If escrow is used, you pay the fees.
The old positive feedback you have means nothing. Your post history is questionable, and You are the one who needs the Solana/XMR, so why should the seller bear the escrow fees?  Roll Eyes

If you receive an offer, I will be damned.
Hard Luck.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Short BNB on: November 25, 2023, 11:44:28 PM
He didn't.
Also eToro is still the most trustworthy of all the possibilities to short BNB which is kinda telling.
Most trustworthy? Tell me the metrics you use to determine if a platform is the most trustworthy. Personally, I don't like how brokers like Etoro operate. They have far too many limitations for retail traders, including subjecting them to tedious KYC verification.

I would rather use another crypto exchange that has BNB perpetual futures listed on it. There are quite many around.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Importing seedphrase to Coinbase wallet on: November 25, 2023, 11:31:09 PM
I needed to use a specific dapp and I didn't have so many options. Trustwallet's WalletConnect never works properly.

What Dapp are you trying to use in particular, I could help explore some other noncustodial wallets to see if they support it,

I have seen people complain about trust wallet in the recent times too, including the functionality of some Dapps.
512  Other / Archival / Re: NeuroticFish, on default trust, using trust feedback to side with a known abuser on: November 25, 2023, 11:21:46 PM
When you are having a problem with about anyone in the community, then maybe you are the problem. Have you taken your time to think about that?
I won't blame you that much if you are still a teenager, perhaps the up bringing wasn't that good, but if you are in your mid-twenties and above, then you clearly have a big issue.

@digaran, let me advice you. If you continue like this, you will have more DT members giving you negative trust and it is not just helping your account if reputed members on this forum are giving you negative trust. I will advise you to just mind your own business and not thinking that DT members are bad.
Good luck advising him  Grin
513  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: November 25, 2023, 10:31:14 PM
Yeah the duration of the campaign is still questionable, I curious why they didn't open for new slots in the old campaign where I participated. There must be a reason, I hope the old campaign will not be paused lol.

The problem is when the campaign become long term, the competition to join turns really high than present.
The new campaign is more like a promotional/seasonal campaign for a new product introduced by the service. Such campaigns usually don't last long. I think I have seen this happen before with FortuneJack signature campaigns.

The old campaign will stay on unless otherwise.
514  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: An Email from TradingView claiming they are airdropping $TRADE Tokens on: November 25, 2023, 08:59:37 PM
What the, so there is no difference between e-mails sent for the tagging features before or do the scammers use some code to mask the message? If it is the former then it would be really weird. I don't see how difficult it is to provide a template for something like that. Just a quoted message from the members tagging you will do that, including their names or something similar. Really an odd choice imo, good thing they solved it quickly.
Yeah, the sending email address is the same.

Let say Bitcointalk can send you a notification email every time a member mentions you, but in that notification message it displays all the post you were mention in. What the scammer does is to mention you in a post but this time round the post is advertising his malicious airdrop or token. Now, any average user who receives the notification may think it's directly from Bitcointalk because the sending email address is official.
515  Other / Meta / Re: harizen - ban appeal on: November 24, 2023, 12:43:33 PM
How far with this case? There was never an update.

Was the member unbanned, or the mods just let it be and the person appealing the ban gave up?
Personally, I think OP was genuinely innocent and got hacked.
516  Other / Meta / Re: offordscott - ban appeal on: November 24, 2023, 12:38:28 PM
I am still looking for help with this. The ban really hurts. If there is an admin who is willing to spend the time to dig into this for me, I will be extremely grateful indeed.
This is crazy. I think mods ought to do something about this. There is another member that was in a similar situation like you. He even tried to prove that he is now in control of the account by writing to the account recoveries, but they never bothered to unban him

This is unfair. At least mods should look at this thing case by case, otherwise innocent members are going to be banned for good.
517  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can government track us. on: November 23, 2023, 10:22:19 PM
Based on what you posted here, I am assuming you are not happy about that 30% tax, and you are looking for ways to get past it.  From what I know, yes, Government can decide to track you if they want. All they have to do is to force those crypto exchanges to comply with the countries KYC/AML policies and also request the exchanges to hand over customer data of Indian Citizens to them and since you may have KYCed in some exchanges, they will have all your details and will know who you are or where you are. They will have all your financial records, including how you were evading the tax.

For example. Recently, Kraken was requested by the US to hand over user that to them - raken Warns Users: Your Bitcoin Trading Data Is Headed to the IRS
518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can we avoid tax on crypto trading in india on: November 23, 2023, 10:03:39 PM
So there are two things, avoiding tax, and then evading tax. One is acceptable in some places, the other is a crime and can make you end up in prison. If you want to avoid your Country tax. Then it's better you move to another country where they don't pay crypto tax (there are still many of them) become a citizen there, set up your accounts and start happily trading.
519  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: November 21, 2023, 11:45:48 PM
I'm jealous lol! It's been 6 months since I asked to change my username to the admins!  Grin
Sometimes it takes a very tong time, but just hang in there and don't give up. Help me count. How many months were those, minus the time he waited after sending PMs?  Cheesy
520  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: November 21, 2023, 11:25:52 PM
So Symmetric (ex. Ratimov) went to the full length of lodging a request with a site administrator just to change his username? AFAIK this is the only way it's possible to be done outside of being a VIP (50 BTC donation).
And it was granted just like that? Uhhh... Weird but ok.  Huh
I know a handful of members who were able to change their usernames upon making a request to the Administrator. It's not something automatic, but it's possible if someone making the request has valid reasons even if they were not VIP. From the administrative point of view, I don't see anything odd. From a user point of view… Well well well...
