501  Economy / Services / Re: Sr. Member - 1100+ posts - Looking for signature campaign - 0.05/mo on: December 24, 2014, 05:18:15 PM
I currently have over 1100 posts and activity around 450.
I'm looking for a signature campaign with a relatively low monthly post requirement (under 15) or hopefully none at all.
Depending on other terms, I'm willing to accept between around 0.04 and 0.1 BTC

0.05 BTC/month for 10 quality posts
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=875272.0

Sounds great, thanks for the info !

do you have something to work that makes you busy recently ?

You can try coinichiwa signature campaign https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=900703.0 ( 10 per week or 2 post per day )
or Bitmixer.io offering 0.0007 / post without any minimum post

Thanks for the suggestions!
However, coinchiwa needs me to make atleast 40 posts a month and Bitmixer.io inherently requires me to continuously post.
If I was free to post that often, I would definitely have continued with GAW ( 50 posts per month for 0.1 BTC seems better )

505  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Sport Gambling on: November 17, 2014, 04:39:42 PM

You should stop pretending that your evaluation is objective.
If it was objective, instead of being mostly your opinion, you would go into more about why you have omitted certain sportsbooks and given the ratings you have given.
The huge table doesn't mean much either, with it focusing on tiny differences in variety offered.
506  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Sport Gambling on: November 17, 2014, 08:37:21 AM
If you are new to sports gambling and are not planning to bet huge amounts, I'd definitely suggest directbet as it is fast and easy to use.
Other services may become better once you consider the lower house edges they have.

Also, it says his password was recently changed...

Wouldn't be surprised if he scammed and then sold his account.
508  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows [Updated Daily] Trade Safely! on: November 16, 2014, 05:33:08 AM
I understand the idea that someone trusted by DefaultTrust, trusted by the public may not always be as trustworthy as claimed to be

But by making this post, you are claiming that you know who is more trustworthy better than DefaultTrust, better than the public ?

If you want to make an ordered list, use a publicly verifiable algorithm which could be critiqued like : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0
Or, just leave it unordered, don't call your favourite escrows "the big five".

Binding of Isaac.

Got me hooked on Indies and Roguelikes. I hated it for the first few hours and then fell in love with it.

Nearly 300 hours logged on steam, and its a goddamn 8 bit game Shocked

Yup, I'd agree with Shorena.

What do you HAVE to do ? This stuff is way awesomer than I could foresee doing, and you have time to do it.
These stuff may actually help you going forward, especially if you are looking to do something in this field.

I don't sacrifice security for convenience.

Mhm, so you make a new cold wallet every time you want to spend a single mBTC ?
514  Economy / Services / Re: Selling My Signature Space ( Full Member ) on: November 14, 2014, 07:43:56 PM
I am selling my signature space as there are no available spots in popular signature campaigns.

I mainly post in:
 - Service Section
 - Goods Section

And I have started posting in the Gambling section.

My current statistics are as follows:

Activity: 126
Posts: 459

I try to post above 25 posts / week and I do succeed with that.

I will only use a signature for a week and then you can buy it for the next week.

If you are interested leave me a pm or a reply in this post.

Thanks.

Why not look directly at the signature campaigns that are currently available? I find that typically campaign managers will look for higher-level members, like Hero or Legendary status, when people are selling their signature space. There are quite a few that are paying decently, if you decide to check them out.

I'd agree to that.

But surprisingly, I've seen equinoxx around the forums a lot. I don't know how I recognize your name despite your sub-500 posts.

His posts are either very constructive or very scammy/deconstructive (I wouldn't remember your name elsewise xD), both of which are pretty helpful to campaign owners.

Despite that, I doubt exceptions will be made for a full member.
515  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gathering money for a bitcoin party! on: November 14, 2014, 09:22:57 AM
it's over, the birthday's tommorow Sad

Yeah, people don't generally sponsor random internet strangers' parties.

Loans are anyways impossible to get without collateral, why would someone pay when they know for sure they are getting nothing back ? And no, pictures of your party don't count, you could just google "party pictures" if that was your fetish.
516  Other / Off-topic / At what thresholds would you change your Bitcoin security? on: November 14, 2014, 09:19:50 AM
For me,

Under 0.2 BTC  (Under 100$) :- Online wallet, whose private keys are not under my control. Allows for faster transactions
0.2 to 2 BTC (100 to 1000$) :- Paper wallet/Brain wallet with encryption with 10-15 char password.

What are your 'thresholds' ? What should I do if I ever get 2+ BTC ? What about at 10,000$ (20 BTC) or more ?
517  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giveway on: November 14, 2014, 09:14:29 AM
Coinchat.org is an amazing community where you can discuss about Bitcoin or any other topic in general.

Constructive discussion is randomly rewarded, which can be withdrawn or used to jazz up your chat !

However, note that it is NOT a faucet.
518  Other / Off-topic / Re: Forum Signature Marketplace on: November 11, 2014, 01:35:55 PM
Hey,

I was browsing around bitcointalk and noticed that quite a few people sell their signature space. I was wondering if anyone knew of a service that served just this purpose. Like a user could build their reputation over multiple forums and sell it on a signature marketplace. It would be a time based contract or post count, and allow users to rate each other as both sellers and buyers. Does anyone know if this exists or is the market too small to be useful?

I doubt that.

Here is one of the few places where signature advertising is rampant, due to the fact that there is a huge density of possibly interested parties. Almost everyone here has gambled before, or considered cloud mining long back.

If you want signature campaigns on BCT itself, here you are : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
519  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your Internet speed on: November 11, 2014, 01:32:42 PM
Checking in from Dubai.

10-500 Mbps available here.

I take the 10 Mbps one and I get speeds varying from 8 Mbps to 20 Mbps , with upload usually around 0.8 to 1.5 Mbps (advertised is 2 Mbps)

Ping is horrible though.
520  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing bitcoins on: November 11, 2014, 02:42:01 AM
Seems you have had some bad luck.

Make sure to use multi-factor sites.  Treat your private key like gold.   Get it once on USB and Paper i suggest and put in safety deposit box or some very strong physical safe.

With earning more BTC comes risk only you can decide what is worth it for your personal investments.  I would say never invest more then you are willing to lose, that is my saying no matter what is invested in.

Precisely.

Cloud mining, Gambling and all other means of investments are more likely to give negative returns.

Keep it safe on a paper wallet (bitaddress.org is good) and keep that paper safe. Don't gamble/waste any more on the hopes of something great.
