900k huh? Ive never met a whale that was this compassionate about small investors! If you really had $100k worth of THC why would you care if they raise the collateral?

You know that you can only setup 1 masternode per IP, would you rather setup 9 masternodes or 45?

Masternodes with high collateral bring more devoted owners who care more about the long term sustainability of the coin, if a masternode is only worth a couple hundred dollars than people will come and go and not care about the coin really.

So this was basically a launch of a fresh chain? There was no fork off of the original bitcoin network right?

Questions from whitepaper:

"The premine is for 500,000 BITG, or 2.4%, of the total supply"-ok great, np i guess, some may say FU right there but im more optimistic than that

"This 500,000 BITG equates to 200 masternodes. 160 of these masternodes will be distributed to the community"-So all of these (160) must have already been sold, how much were they sold for?

"including the 10 team members. 14 masternodes will be distributed to the initial team members, each individual receiving 0.5-3 masternodes for their efforts in creating the Bitcoin Green blockchain."- So there are 10 team members then?...and still anonymous

"26 masternodes will be reserved for development costs, exchange listings, awareness campaigns, partnerships, and promotion of the Bitcoin Green mission."-This is what gets me...that's a lot of masternodes, I get it that devs have to provide for their families and exchange listings are pricey but these node addresses have to be completely transparent for everyone in the community to see. Also who has the say in where these funds go? Will these nodes always be there for the sole discretion of the dev team? Won't the 5% gov block reward compensate for some of these cost in the future?

As far as the specifications of this coin there really isn't anything new or exciting, it's really just another POS/MN coin. But the team has done a pretty good job at branding it and presenting it in a way that people can relate to, even the most novice investors know that bitcoin mining sucks up a shit ton of electricity.

There is a lot of potential here but I would need more transparency from the initial team.

Just keep your coins on the exchange for now, know its risky but the exchange will take care of the swap for you. Exchanges are way more secure than they used to be and under close scrutiny/watchful eye. Don't worry

There will supposedly be some kind of nodes based on DSS score, L2-L5 nodes..? Something like that, I have been trying to find more concrete information about it.

The recent closure of the Iagon is kind of discouraging as a Dragonchain investor....I get that the SEC has not been clear on things but as an investor I want to know that what im investing in will go through and i wont get my coins refunded to me weeks later.

No worries, DMD holds its price in BTC very well, it has ever since they upgraded to masternodes, back in 2015/2016 we we saw lows down to 20-40k...now we are nowhere near that, DMD has good price stability in the long run.

Kind of discouraging not going to lie, the DSS was one of the main selling points of participating in the pre-sale....so basically you guys are saying that you will still be incubated but just won't do your ICO through dragonchain?

Also what about the new KYC, I had already went through it on Dragonchain, now I will have to do it again through some other 3rd party?

 

You are right but I don't really think that means that much though right? How often do you hear of people begging for their coin to get listed on poloniex anymore? I haven't traded on there for over a year, most people totally boycotted them back in spring 2017 when they literally were pushed to their limits and had to disable the chatbox and kept people's coins hostage for months.

Many people thought they were the next exit scam, it takes a lot of time to rebuild that rep, it's getting there though with the Circle acquisition.

Aside from that ETC probably has more of a foundation as far as support from big money rather than EOS, Waves, or Cardano.....Tron is just a joke and is extremely way overvalued, the only reason so much money is in that coin is because newbs don't know any better and like it because its cheap USD wise.

Price has been fluctuating around a solid floor, the chart really looks good right now, if your on the sidelines looking for a solid masternode coin with a good foundation BWK is a great choice.

One could potentially buy a MN and be way up on their investment really quick if an uptrend starts (low risk high reward chart IMO)

Always DYOR but all those coins that are like 500%+ on masternodes online have little foundation, BWK has good foundation

I'm bullish but it has a lot of competition now, I wouldn't expect it to just dominate all the DEXs out there.

But being a protocol coin is a big plus, a lot could be built on it....key word COULD.

Sounds to me like the only problem right now is the price.....why do people continue to mine even if they already ROI on a coin they are paying more in electric than actually mining ya know?

Tron isn't that different than many other token economy coins out there, I don't see what the big fuss is about?

It probably just gets more hype and attention from people on youtube and twitter is all. These markets are mostly driven by hype, when you get down to the fundamentals there is no reason why Tron should be valued more than older projects like Komodo or Waves, both of which have been around longer and have more tech to offer.

This isn't really true, when a coin gets to a certain point it isn't really controlled by the developers anymore. I think you mean supply inflate or deflate?

When a coin launches it will have a set distribution model written into the chain by code. Say 5 coins per block from block 1-500 then 10 coins per block from 500-50000 (just as an example)

Now that version of the chain (and wallet ect) will be up on github, if the devs just out of nowhere wanted to change those numbers they would have to modify the code and put up a new release, after that its up to the community if they want to download that new release with updated code.

If a majority of the community does not update then that original blockchain would remain ongoing with the original code.

This is why you hear the statement "The strongest chain will win", developers only have control to a certain extent, they need the community to be in consensus (agreement) with them to push their releases. This is a big reason why forks happen.

A lot of them may be legit but there are so freaking many of them now that I would bet only 10% of them will be successful, go check out an ICO listing website, there are literally 100s of ICOs in the pipeline, its become so saturated now that I just can't help but laugh

There you go, all info you need is above, you can now encrypt the wallet, which isnt saying a whole lot but the company is more focused on getting the protocol ready for enterprise use...not tailor a wallet to the avg crypto holder.

Yup all the signs of REAL adoption are there, and there is probably a lot that we still don't know about as far as partnerships and deals.

What leaves me flabbergasted is that this is the BIGGEST milestone in the projects history. To finally roll out the protocol across a distributed network and be able to present it to businesses as a real decentralized solution to record keeping.

Yet there is no change in volume, price has actually been going down and there is no new activity on twitter besides the normal supporters.....but I will continue to hold my FCT because I am well above break even (since the BTC i invested is worth so much more now) and because I truly believe that when the wider majority of crypto speculators finally see whats going on with factom it could make for a speculator frenzy.

But I guess at the end of the day from a long term speculators perspective, people will be making entries and will have to burn factoids....so hopefully in time price will reflect that. We will see.
