Pakistan is not happy because now they are leaking their wounds they lost golden opportunity to win this series and good points in first test now second is already end in draw and most chances third is also going to end in draw because too much rain expected so this series is going to end on just first test result which is clearly not good for them but England is also not happy as now they are feeling they can do some more good after winning first test.
Pakistan might be happy as rain prevented them to be 0-2 which means they are still having decent chances to square the series rather than being already lost the series. The 3rd test is going to be played at Southampton which might be flat surface then there would be a decent chances for Pakistan players to score more and to put England to chase to make them feel the pressure to defeat England. But, England will be a fiery team in home soil and they have improved batting line who may bat like T20 matches even in test cricket. If Pakistan will look for more spinning options then probably they get chances to put England in back foot as English team is always known for struggling against spinners even in home grounds. I also think that Pakistan would be happy with the result in being a draw as it still gives them a chance to at least draw the series which would be a good outcome for them after letting England back into the series with their second innings poor performance in the first test match. Even with all the rain around hopefully we'll see one team win the third test. I only hope that we are able to see the complete third match rather than rain playing a spoil sport. I am sure if the third test match gets played then there is a high chance of it being a close one. Pakistan will try everything to win the last test. |

Why blame the selectors? Dhoni's strike rate was well below average in the recent T20I and ODI matches in which he played. Even when the required rate was very high, he failed to step up the momentum. And despite this, the selectors included him in the squad.
His captaincy, wicket-keeper, batting skills and his finishing style is what made him famous among the people. Whenever India lose a match and MSD isn't part of the squad, people wish that he was part of the squad. There is no denying that he is a legend of indian cricket but I do agree with @Vishnu.Reang, his performance was below the acceptable average. There were others who could have been more productive if they were playing in his place. This was the right time for him to retire with dignity rather than getting dropped by the selectors. |

Dream XI, a fantasy sports company has won the bid of sponsorship for IPL. But the amount they'd be spending is much less than what IPL was expecting. IPL was hoping for something around 300 crores while the largest bid from Dream XI was 250 crore. The long term sponsor of IPL, VIVO had to back away from their sponsorship due to anti Chinese sentiments on the government and public level. While Dream XI do still consist a minority stake of Tencent (about 20%).
The BCCI should be happy about this. During the sponsorship auctions last time, Vivo made a bid of ₹440 crore per year, followed by Oppo (₹286 crore). None of the other brands made a bid worth more than ₹200 crore at that time. Therefore I would say that the BCCI got a good deal this time. Now the question is whether Dream 11 will get the expected returns from this deal or not. The viewership would increase I guess compared to previous years so as there has being no cricket matches for few countries in last 6 months. So fans are awaiting to see them on field and in IPL all major players will come and also since still people continue to work from home so the TV or internet would be on along with the work too. So, I am expecting the Dream 11 would make good returns as well. England team dint got chance to bat as well or say they dint had any practice of batting in this test match. Also, on last day till now it is raining and might just end without even a ball being bowled. It looks like the rain god's have listened to your cries  . I was wondering why England is batting when the match is done and dusted rather than taking rest and going back to their hotels and there is no way a result could be made but it is good time to improve the average of batsman as there is no pressure about a result . Hope we will be able to see the next match without any interruption and if there are signs of rain its better to go for a draw . Pakistan should be happy for the second test, the way they batted first it was pretty clear they would have lost the 2 test match. The next test is crucial if Pakistan wins the third test, the series would end in a draw. No. Check the previous posts. The CSK owner has stated that Mahendra Singh Dhoni would continue to play for them at least until 2022. I am not sure about Suresh Raina and AB de Villiers, but I don't see any reason for them to retire so early when they are earning good amounts from the IPL. Times have changed. Nowadays cricketers are retiring at 40-42 years, which is an increase of 5-6 years when compared to the situation a decade ago. They have taken retirement from International cricket and IPL as per my understanding is a domestic T20 tournament. Hence, I do not see any reason for MSD or Raina not to play the IPL. They can play as long as their body allows them and as long as they are selected. |

Yes, Inhuries may be one of the reason for his early retirement and the other would be not getting to play enough.
