521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When does eth exceed the old bitcoin in market cap become #1? on: May 02, 2019, 03:03:17 PM
The eth/btc flippening used to be hyped a lot more and it became really close to actually happen.  It may happen in the future because ethereum has more usecase with tokens and smart contracts.  The safe bet is to invest equally in both coins.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you start crypto gambling? on: May 02, 2019, 02:59:16 PM
I started crypto gambling by betting against friends directly without using a casino.  Think the first thing I bet on was an NBA game.  I ended up losing Sad but don't worry it was only around 10 dollars at the time.

My first overall gambling experience I can't exactly remember,  I know I participated in a few raffles and other similar contests as a child though.
523  Economy / Exchanges / Re: scam exchange on: May 02, 2019, 02:42:31 PM
Its really easy money for scammers.  They no longer have to put effort into their scams.   Cryptocurrency has become their playground and they absolutely love that crypto transactions can't be reversed.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tech Savvy Student Steals $7.5 Million in Cryptocurrency on: May 01, 2019, 04:13:48 PM
He got off too lightly for the amount of money he stole.  He will probably only end up serving 5 or 6 years as well.

This guy ruined peoples lives permanently and just blew their money on stupid shit.  This guy deserves a harsher punishment.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good idea? on: May 01, 2019, 04:04:58 PM
There are still a lot of questions to answer.  How much are you willing to spend on advertising and on what platforms?  How much inventory will you keep in stock at a time? How will you handle refunds and returns?  What separates you apart from the competition?
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium 1000 $ is a dream to everyone ! on: May 01, 2019, 03:56:31 PM
Oh my god after the fall down of etherum from 1400 $ to 200 $ what do u think of the soon futur of etherum?! .. my opinion is etherum will get to the top again it's normal when it's so down with every other coin or bitcoin.. can i use patience as a smart solution to get rich with 4 ether now !
Ethereum has a bright future ahead, if you think 1000$  price of ethereum is only dream think again. My prediction for eth price in the coming years will be 5000$. Better to buy and hold eth if you want x1000 in profit.

$1000 is still a low amount and can easily be reached again. $5000 looks to be a good prediction for the future when bitcoin hits $50k.

Right now is the time to buy, this will probably be the last chance to get really high gains from crypto.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: May 01, 2019, 03:44:31 PM
People are afraid of change and are hesitant to move to something new.  A lot of people in the crypto market talk crap about any coin that they do not own.

Most new projects will fail but there will always be a few that get those crazy high returns.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: May 01, 2019, 03:39:18 PM
It does have the potential to filter out potential hackers and scammers but I still think it does more bad than good.  Crypto should remain somewhat anonymous, if not that you might as well just use fiat instead.
529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: May 01, 2019, 03:36:45 PM
I'm starting to think that these stories are completely fake just to scare people from holding crypto.  Banks and government have done much worse so I wouldn't put it past them.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is a Bitcoin Millionaire on: May 01, 2019, 03:33:56 PM
Many crypto billionaires and millionaires spread their btc among many different addresses so they won't appear on any of these blockchain rich lists.

Satoshi is regarded as the biggest bitcoin holder with an estimated 1 million bitcoins from the early mining days.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: Which industries don't need blockchain? on: May 01, 2019, 03:24:49 PM
Most industries don't need a decentralized database.  The only real use I see is for currency that isn't controlled by any single person.  Everything else is much better served by a centralized database that is much more efficient.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum back in number 2 on: April 30, 2019, 03:03:43 PM
Ethereum is also back to #2 in coinmarketcap as you see, for sure it will increasing up again and lot of people always waiting for the pumping up in ethereum very important to hold and wait before it grow up faster.

of course, because ethereum is one of the best altcoins even though it has experienced a significant decline but there are still many people who believe in the future of this coin for growth because this coin will be used by many users and many new projects that use the ethereum platform the coins they made.
Don't be too proud of it dude, many potential altcoins are starting to arrive and that is a tough rival for Ethereum. maybe we will find Ethereum back to number 3 or below in top marketcaps, the cryptocurrency market is full of surprise, and you have to know that

I doubt it, none of these "competitors" have enough to compete against eth.  Ethereum does over 6x the daily volume of the 3rd ranked coin, ripple.  Eth has the largest decentralized support network with GPUs all over the world.  Eth is not going anywhere along with bitcoin, these two are the most widely accepted cryptos.
533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of 1 Satoshi rise to $1? on: April 30, 2019, 02:58:31 PM
1 Sat = $1 means an exchange rate of 100 million USD per bitcoin. That is something which is very unfeasible, under any circumstance. Right now, the total world wealth is estimated at around $300 trillion. In case the exchange rate rises to $100 million, then the wealth from Bitcoin alone will be 7 times the total world wealth.

Haha, thanks for laying out these numbers for the newbies.  OP asked a ridiculous question.  At most and I'm talking very far in the future, I could maybe see 1 satoshi being worth 1/10th of a penny.
534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I dont think beginners should start with airdrop anymore on: April 30, 2019, 02:54:23 PM
The bitcoin airdrops are still worth a decent amount of money.  As much as people shit on bitcoin cash it was some free money so maybe we should be thanking Roger Ver on some level, lol.

The erc-20 airdrops were always a complete scam.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 30, 2019, 02:50:06 PM
Most people can't make a consistent profit from trading, don't give people false hope.  Bounties have always been a scam and a complete waste of time.  Even worse when you give over your personal information for a few pennies.
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach $100,000? on: April 30, 2019, 02:41:47 PM
100k is a steep hill to climb.  We should concentrate on getting back to 20k before we even dream about 100k.

100k does sound small compared to Mcafee's 1 million dollar prediction though, lol.
537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi came out with bitcoin2.0 would you use it? let`s say he used his keys on: April 30, 2019, 02:38:13 PM
so that would be enough for you? If I moved coins out of this address 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa you would trust that I am satoshi? (not saying I him just using a hypothetical situation)
What if someone found satoshi and tortured him for his keys? if someone is driving satoshi`s car, does that make them satoshi?

perhaps we should see 2-3 of the starting addresses move coins, would the re ensure you? and a post from the satoshi bitcoin talk forum account?

Your right, someone could gain access to those keys but they aren't Satoshi.  A lot of speculation about Dave being Satoshi and since he is dead someone may be able to find those keys someday.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: April 29, 2019, 02:48:49 PM
Even a lot of these casinos that claim to not do KYC might make you do one if you deposit a large amount or win a large amount.  Thats why its important to only play with a small amount a time and never send your whole stack to one casino.
539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mental health awareness friends on: April 29, 2019, 02:42:14 PM
There is still a strong stigma around mental awareness and many people do not take it seriously.  Trauma has a profound effect on us and our brain is an organ that can have issues just like any other part of our body.  People pretend like they care when someone is already dead but when asked for help beforehand very few will lend a helping hand.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this another drama ? on: April 29, 2019, 02:36:04 PM
He is back to shill some half-baked obscure projects as well, so I guess he is running out of doe and is back for a nice pay day. Too bad (for him) that people have learned their lesson back in the 2017 and are not listening to him anymore.

Guess Mcafee blew all his money on cocaine and boats.  This guy doesn't have much longer to live so he really has a "fuck it" type of attitude.
