541  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 09, 2023, 03:41:51 PM
As people who have been to school, we must be independent, don't blame the government too often, let them focus on the programs that have been designed, and we must be creative, complaining won't change our lives, take real action right away, even if it looks like a small thing.

One mistake that some people are continuously committing which is also the reason why most of them can't get out of the yolk of poverty is that they blame everything on the government. Even if the government is doing its job to sustain its people, it can't support us our whole lives s we still need to grind and make money through our effort and hard work. We can't succeed if we will just rely on the government which also relies on the taxes of its citizens.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What makes Binance stay strong despite all FUD ? on: April 09, 2023, 11:04:10 AM
It's because there are still people believe in binance and that makes binance keep its traffic or how many people are using their services they can offer to their clients. The team and owner is quite quick in solving some problems like what happened to binance not too long ago.

Binance would't be on top if people don't trust this exchange. It is actually the most trusted exchange these days because of the volume and number of coins listed on it that keeps good traffic. I agree that they sustain a good support system and they quickly solve issues no wonder why traders trust it the most. I believe that Binance will remain on top if it will continue to show good service and performance despite the issues and FUD that it has been facing.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 08, 2023, 04:02:21 PM
I rarely take part in bonus programs, but it is important for me that the draw is fair. The prizes were small, but they were credited in full, and it's cool, it's like a small deposit bonus. Most often, new casinos launch a lot of promotional companies and it is impossible to track their transparency, since the project does not yet have a reputation and only live reviews can prove it.

Yes, that's why some new casinos hired influencers so they can be promoted in different channels that might help them to have users. Before , I heard there are some twitch streamers who promotes some gambling activities . Transparency must be one of the main thing that an online gambling website should focus , no gambler wants to be cheated of course.

There are reputable casinos that aren't afraid to show off how their bonuses and events draw run. They do it through live streams or post the winners in their community. When it comes to new casinos, I don't think streamers are reliable or even providing real or trusted results because they can fake it since they are being paid and their main goal is to promote the casino to attract more players. New casinos would fake even their transparency to gain the trust of most players.
544  Economy / Gambling / Re: Limited in every bookmaker on: April 08, 2023, 03:18:06 PM
Unfortunately, I dont have idea where to make a betting account,
I was limited at almost every crypto or online bookmaker.

If you have losing account on bk88, betnomi, roobet, or even some normal online bookmaker, reply to me here or in your inbox.

I have an offer you can't refuse
First your account may be limited for some obvious reasons such as your country being restricted or your IP may have committed some evil and is banned my many casinos.
On buying accounts that are also not encouraged either ao you should build your casino account yourself so that you can be involved and aware of all the activities on the account, because most bought accounts always run into a problem in the long run, and if you are asked to make verification/KYC it may become impossible to achieve that and at the end, you lose the account and all the funds in it, so you may need to have a rethink about your choice.
A reputable casino will not limit or ban your account if you didn't break any of their TOS. I guess you should have reviewed their rules so you would know if you have violated their terms not unless you're playing with a scam casino that won't allow you to withdraw easily especially if you're making a good profit from them. I guess it's something that you have to double check but if multiple casinos are banning or limiting your activities, the mistake might be on your end.
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: April 07, 2023, 10:22:44 PM
If you want to succeed both in trading and investing, you must first understand all the possible risks that you could face. Keep in mind that you won't only be needing funds as a capital but you also have to invest your time and patience on it. It will take you through different levels of emotions so you should be wise in managing how you feel. The right financial and emotional condition are important for you to make right decisions as you aim for success.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: April 07, 2023, 10:04:23 PM
On the morning of April 7, Twitter officially removed the Doge logo and replaced it with the old logo for this social network, and the price of the Doge also plummeted shortly after. We can see Elon's manipulation of this coin. ..

All of Elon Musk's manipulations around Doge should be regarded as his distraction from the serious business he owns. And today it is more important for him to launch a Falcon-9 into space than a Doge to the moon. For us, any pump is an opportunity to make a profit, and for Musk, it all looks like entertainment.

Elon has made the said coin alive and pumped it through his statements before which attracted many investors even non-crypto users. I think that's something to rely on if we want to buy Doge but it would be a risk. It's originally a meme coin so we can't say that it could remain steadfast in the long run because of its weak potential to stand firm without relying on any personality. It's for risk takers and not for those who are only aiming to make bigger profits with higher assurance.
547  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 07, 2023, 09:50:50 PM
Hi friends, I have some questions for you guys about online casinos

What will you do if you don't know that a online casino will ask you for KYC after winning over 8,000$ on the platform? And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you? Can you consider such a casino a scam?

With my experience in gambling, I already know that most casino will not ask for kyc verification from a user until he or she wins a reasonable amount of money..
But then, if after submitting the exact documents they requested, and meet all the requested conditions, and still, they did not pass my verification without any clear or reasonable reason, then I will clearly consider such a casino to be a scam, there's no two ways about it.

Quote

Also, imagine you get attracted to an online casino because of the bonuses they offer and you open an account and make your first deposit then you didn't receive the promised bonus, is this an act of scam or not?
As long as I am sure that the casino is not a scam initially before making the deposit, I won't casino the casino a scam until am unable to withdraw my money, some bonuses have special links which one must access and register on the site through, failure to use that link simply means you won't be getting the bonus, so it is likely that your friend failed to register on the casino through their bonus link, which can easily explain why he didn't get the bonus as promised by the site.

When it come to KYC requirements, check if the reasons they gave you is valid, why they are not verifying it?
You can already get a hint if the casino is just looking for loopholes not to give his winnings.
Also, the site should have their license before they require their players to undergo KYC. If not, they are clearly screwing the user.

This have happened to me when a casino asked me for a KYC during the withdrawal which I made because of depositing the minimum wager amount along with the bonuses that they offer. After passing the requirements, they told me that I failed to pass it but they didn't provide any reason why I failed. I think some scam casinos are just making KYC an excuse so their users won't withdraw their winning funds.
548  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit Casino loosing value due to Licensing Ambiguity amongst users on: April 07, 2023, 09:31:34 PM
~snip~
Hopefully, when the regulation issues get settled it could translate to a boost for the price and long term stability/ a solid bottom from their investors can grow from.
^ It is so sad to know this issue about them but I hope that it will be settled soon.
Rollbit has been here for years and I don't have a doubt it will make a shady activity (not because I am promoting them). The campaign was still there are they were willing to pay for each participant which means they want to continue their business here.
Whatever the reason, the Rollbit reputation was still there and that is only the license, the most important are they still a reputable casino.

Between having a license with no reputation and no license but having a good reputation I choose the latter I'm sure the majority of gamblers will choose it too, Rollbit has been with us and still doing ok are we going to dump it because of the license when the majority of us here valued reputation than the license.
Rollbit announced that they will fix the issue and they are one casino that will fulfill their promise, so OP's title is not a fact and in the long run, they will eventually get their license renewal.

I think the problem of some casino owner having a good reputation and still lacking a license is that it makes much difficult for them to maintain their business while dealing with authorities, they can continue to exist with those gamblers which may not mind they not having a license.

But what is going to happen when Rollbit needs to transfer FIAT through bank accounts between countries or buy properties? they would find a brick wall, since they could not explain easily the origin of those funds to the governments without being properly registered.  Sad

So it is not only about the sentiment that gamblers could have but also how tough things can go without having the papers.
They might enjoy the services that the casino can provide but being unable to comply with the license requirements of the casino might backfire on them in the long run or worse, could affect their funds in the future. Complying with the licensure requirements is one of the struggles of casinos but we can see their legitimacy and willingness to establish a strong foundation of their casino through it.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 07, 2023, 09:15:26 PM
According to the same article provided by the OP, the fight is not yet a done deal based on “Dan Rafael’s sources are telling him that the fight isn’t a done deal, though the sides continue to negotiate, and that if it does get done, it won’t be June 17.”

I’m still not convinced that these 2 boxer will ever continue this undisputed fight while they still have the best career they can ever have by avoiding each other. I’m sure no one is willing to give way for the profit split since they are both undisputed. Even the most recent news is still doesn’t show any confirmation for dream fight.

You don't understand Crawford if you think he is avoiding anyone.  Dude she'd his promoting team so that he can fight whoever he needs to.  He just wants his fair share of the purse.  But the dude never ducked anyone.  It's always people ducking Crawford no one wants to go 10 full with him.  No one.

Clear enough that he was not that informed on what happened in the past few months or why the first negotiation fell through despite the fact that the fans are already delighted because both camps has commenced their discussion. For the record, Crawford never ducked anyone and he even left the Top Rank just to make the unification fight into reality but even that wasn't enough to get Al Haymon's approval. And regarding about the purse split, Crawford said it himself that he was ready to take as low as 30% because there's nobody to share with unlike Spence who had his promotional camp.

Of course, rumors will always exist about them but I think Crawford is not like other boxers who mock on others just to make noise. I'm sure that he focuses on his training since it could possibly be a challenging match for him. Spence has a good record but I guess Crawford will surely do everything to maintain a promising record. This match will surely be one of the biggest fights this year.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: April 06, 2023, 10:49:56 PM
Only those who has the same religion and political belief will support a certain coin and it couldn't attract many investors because of conflict of belief. As much as possible, I'm very skeptical in projects involving political and religious issues because they could end up unsuccessful in the end. It will be better to invest in projects that purely aims to succeed because of its potential and not because of their religious group or political involvement.
551  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Thoughts sa Exchange P2P transaction on: April 06, 2023, 10:37:34 PM

552  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: April 06, 2023, 10:20:36 PM
Invest what you can only afford to lose especially in cryptocurrency where there's no assurance of when you could gain your target profit. When you buy potential coins like Bitcoin and other top coins, you have to forget your invetsment for a while and expect that the value of your holdings could drop down. Just hold until the bull market approaches which is a perfect time for you to gain profit.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: April 06, 2023, 10:07:22 PM
I have encountered Ludo game in playstore and tried playing it despite having difficulties since I'm not familiar with the mechanics because it's a traditional game . I find it interesting and got hooked on it so I believe that it has a huge potential to be in online casinos. The problem is it's a traditional game so lots of people still have no idea about it and as gamblers, they will definitely just choose games that they are familiar with. Only those who are familiar with this game will be interested on it.
There are actually plenty of traditional games that has a potential to be in online casinos but developers will always prefer popular games to attract players.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 06, 2023, 09:50:05 PM
Every casino that has collaborations with influencers, especially those with influence and big names, the payment they will receive is not small. I don't know exactly, what the mechanism is and how much they are paid. logically, casinos that use the services of influencers or streamers, they have the financial logistics for their part of the casino's marketing, I mean, established casinos have a sound financial condition. therefore, they are able to use the services of Influencers to promote their casino. after all, casinos make huge profits from the gamblers who become their casino customers.

However, if you have the intention to set up an online casino. at the very least, you must have financial logistics that are quite fantastic to finance the casino operations that you have.
Well, if you have worries about being cheated when trying to play at an online casino, you must choose a trusted casino. In our community, there are many trusted casinos that have a reputation. you can explore to find out and gain experience. last question, like the other members said. You can check the age of the casino, looking for all the relevant information. plus, find out what track record they have in terms of reputation.
If the influencer is famous enough, the pay isn't going to be small. If the casino can afford them, it's a sign that the casino has lots of funds. Now the OP ask if where did they get such funds? It maybe from their own pocket or from their investors? A good amount of money is important in a casino business but I think in other businesses as well. That is one of the steps to grow and be successful.

There are many ways to get scammed in an online casino but one of the best thing to avoid all of it, is to avoid signing up and depositing money in a suspicious casino. This forum is a good reference to find out legit and scam casinos. I wouldn't trust any random review sites outside and I think even Trustpilot can also be faked now easily.

They base the payment maybe based on the number of followers that an influencer has. The more followers the influencer has, the higher the funds that they will allocate for it. Since it's part of their marketing strategy, they surely allocate enough from their business earnings to pay for it.
There are still scam casinos that exist until now but compared to the old times, it's now easier to determine whether a casino is legit or not. I agree that this forum is a big help and reference to check the legitimacy of casinos.
555  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Shirt available in SM North EDSA on: April 05, 2023, 10:32:17 PM

556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You are probably a target already if... on: April 05, 2023, 10:15:48 PM
Are you already feeling the hype of Arbitrum airdrop? And you feel like you will never miss out on the next upcoming airdrop like Zksync and StarkNet? This warning message is for you.
This will depend on how our next steps to do. For many or most airdrop participants, joining airdrop like this with huge rewards are really exciting. And most people will not think to buy again the token because they know commonly the hype that will happen. that is why many people will only utilize the chance to get free money from airdrop, but not for buying or investing in the tokens. And we as the people in this crypto world also have noticed how kind of this hype project will commonly drop easily after success. that is why stay careful and wise in joining any new project activities. But the victim may be the new users who are coming to crypto world and becoming so FOMO with the hype. And they enter in the wrong time, leading to get loss after the dropped price someday.

The hype of the said coin seems over and it dumped after the airdtop participants have sold theit tokens which is a usual thing that always happens. Twitter and other platforms can easily be used by scammers so they are also taking advantage of it to fool people so we better be careful in every single click that we do. All of us want to earn from airdrops since it's free for everyone but it is also necessary to be observant and do at least simple research before joining to get rid of being hacked or scammed.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 05, 2023, 10:02:43 PM
How can the gamblers verify that the actual amount of people are receiving the drop or the bonus, if there are no list to verify it?
This won't solve the problem because even if the casino publish the list of winners, there is no way to verify that those winners are real users and not just bots or fake usernames.
To make it as transparent as possible, the casino can partner with a reputable streamer and ask him to draw the winners on a live stream or use a provably fair system like giving each user a ticket number and use the blockchain (transactions/blocks hashes) to determine the winners.
There's no way of verifying those players whether those are legit or not, thing here is that they do really give that fair service to those who do gamble out.Somehow it do really sucks
when you do know that you are been deceived or believing into something which it isnt really just that fair at all but as i said earlier which there's no way to confirm up these things.
This is why it would be always suggestable that we should really be getting involved into those sites or places which does have the most recognition
or having that reputation.

If a casino is transparent, it would have a strong and reliable community that can prove whether the result of real or not. I don't think casinos will provide transparency regarding the winners and it's very rare nowadays. However, I like the idea of having a trusted streamer who would do the draw live for transparency. Through it, gamblers could see transparency and legitimacy which can also increase the reputation rate of a casino.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Existing Crypto Casinos Were Able to Churn Fiat Casinos User? on: April 05, 2023, 09:44:38 PM
...
I think most crypto casinos are still churning out existing customers. I also believe that it is not that easy to get a traditional online gambling user to change their habit. What do you think?

It's why loyalty programs exist. People who spend a lot of money on gambling look for good loyalty programs, and when they are satisfied with the casino in general and the bonuses they got from their VIP level they will stay there. When there is a better offer it's more likely that someone will change their mind.

I don't have a lot of experience with online fiat casinos when it comes to lucky-based games (including slots), but when it comes to sports betting and poker fiat casinos still have a lot more active players and better options/bonuses. I still think that crypto needs some fantastic "only crypto" poker places, but I guess we are far from that.

Lots of gamblers have switched to crypto gambling but in our country, there are still lots of gamblers who prefer to gamble using fiat despite the edges that crypto can provide. The competition of local casinos in our country is too high nowadays but most of them are fiat based casinos. I think people here still have to see the advantages of using cryptocurrency before they choose it over fiat-based casinos.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 05, 2023, 09:32:38 PM
Which one do you think is better and has more healthy growth for a new online casino?

Is it better for a new casino to take their time very slow with their project for the time being to be able to raise some money first and only attract users with banners and small advertisements?

Or a new casino project should go all in on doing advertisements starting from their launch date with everything they've got?
Marketing will make a huge impact on the presence of new online casinos but reputation is everything I have seen in new casinos going massive marketing including launching a signature campaign but stopping it because they lose their steam because of lack of good features and losing their reputation because of the many complaints, features, and reputations are everything if they are going to go all out in their marketing be sure they have what the gamblers are looking for.

Quote
Why do new online casinos struggle? A Few I knew are not doing fine and they had to put an end to their advertising campaigns.
The online casino business is very competitive, newly launched casinos should have something better to offer than well-established casinos, and they should be active in their announcement thread, addressing concerns and addressing issues.

Reputation has a huge point and it is the main thing that most gamblers are looking for. If a casino has a good reputation, it can provide good services and promising performance. People now prefer top casinos because of their feedback and reviews so it is very challenging for new casinos to attract players no matter how hard they try to apply an effective marketing strategy.
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: April 04, 2023, 05:35:20 PM
It's best if the people who expect from the signal know this and start learning more about trading so they don't get their hopes up from other people's signals. I have several times met people who asked what coins they could buy to ordinary friends who could analyze the market. But these friends do not provide a more detailed explanation; they only provide a price position to buy and when to take advantage of it.

Again, if they keep doing that, they will find it difficult to take advantage of it or determine when they can enter the market. It is better to learn about trading because it will surely be useful for them, especially if they want to make trading a source of income.
Unfortunately there are tens of thousands of people out there who think that they can follow someone, and learn what to buy and what to sell and be rich thanks to that. I do not know how we can stop that and all, but I am sure that we are going to not have zero of those people, it is going to keep happening.

In order to get rid of that, we need to expose these signal channels but there are so many of them that even when one is exposed, people say "this is not like that" for other ones and still trust it. I guess there is a thing in some peoples minds where they are more inclined to get scammed, no idea what it is, but that's what they believe in, and that's a trouble.
If they followed someone without learning what to buy and sell, they would have a hard time getting rich or making a profit. They must realize this because otherwise, they will never achieve their target. And when they don't reach their target, they get frustrated and say it's not for me when it's their own fault for not learning. They need to change themselves to realize that what they have done so far was wrong and try to learn from their mistakes so that they will not experience or repeat the same mistakes.

Those who follow and rely on others' signals are those who are lazy to do their own research and study things about trading. We can actually do trading by ourselves but we need eagerness and willingness to learn and adopt kowledge to do it successfully. Relying on others, especially people's predictions and signals will not always work. We must instead learn the basic fundamentals of trading as well as do our analysis of the market.
