1000^th ODI - India

Today India is playing against West Indies on its first ODI of the series. Through this India becomes the first country to play 1000 ODI matches in international cricket. In the year 1971 ODI cricket was introduced. In the very first match England played against Australia, the match was won by Australia. In the year 1974 India played its very first ODI cricket and lost to England. Till date India has played 999 ODI cricket matches. The results are furnished below.

James Rew and James Sales have helped the team back on the track to some extent and now England have reached a score of 185 runs losing 9 wickets. Compared to the beginning of the innings, at the end England have managed to score good runs. This time the final is in the favour of India, but we can't come to a conclusion on this. Well... I disagree with you on Jagmohan Dalmiya. He never got a chance to play international cricket (although he represented one of the most famous clubs in the Kolkata local competition). Still, when he was the president of the ICC he undertook major measures to boost the popularity of cricket in associate nations. And he was the one who first proposed to include cricket in Olympics. But his downfall started in 2004, when UPA won the elections in India. Srinivasan-Pawar combination captured power and they reversed the policy to popularize cricket. The mafia was in power for one decade and they pushed back the sport by at least 2-3 decades. The damage they did will never be undone.

And we also can see that even the cricket board are being controlled by non-cricketers or businessmen, right? That's where the actual problem lies.

Have a look at the Bangladesh cricket board for example. Has The President of the Bangladesh cricket board ever played cricket? Like ever?

With a dominant performance against Australia, India reached the finals. This shows how well organized and strong their infrastructure is. As a result, India became the first U19CWC team to qualify for four consecutive finals.  The youngster did an amazing job and deserve to reach the finals. Indian fans are looking forward to their 5th championship win. If they succeed, it will boost the morale of the senior team as well.

One of the biggest revenue source for IPL is the television right. If PSL wants to be succesful then they should stop telecasting those matches on free platforms. They should also work on piracy. Star india has been very successful in stopping piracy. It is practically impossible to watch IPL on any free platforms now. A few years back you would have easily watched those IPL matches on most of the free platform.

If there are very few teams playing cricket, then the ICC is also responsible for that. They killed cricket in associate nations when Srinivasan-Pawar cabal was in power. Everyone knows what happened to teams such as Kenya and Canada. After showing a lot of promise, cricket died out all of a sudden in these countries due to lack of support from the ICC. And what happened in Zimbabwe also needs to be blamed on the ICC. They are still supporting the corrupt cricket board members, despite receiving proof that the funds are being stolen.

Sad news. I have nothing against trans athletes (and generally against trans people), but I think that women with a male body have an advantage over women with a female body. This is supported by the statistics and by the fact that there are many successful trans women, but I have not heard of any of the successful trans men. Perhaps the ideal solution would be to allocate a separate category for transathletes.

Currently, we have some good number of cricketing events around so just because of this we have very few peoples watching this PSL and no one talking about this even I just check now this year some good number of channels and apps are showing this live which is good but still need some better marketing and exposure which is possible by time to have some better updates and information about this event right now I have not watched any match of this season due to my schedule but reading some good updates about few matches and today just few hours ago Lahore beat Karachi in very interesting match with Fakhar Zaman done maiden century of this season and now Karachi is at bottom with 3 loses out of 3 matches and Multan is leading table under Mohammad Rizwan by 2 wins out of 2 matches.

If the political situation is stable then Afghanistan will produce great talents if not these players will move to other countries to earn their living, i have played with and against many players from Afghanistan in the UAE playing for clubs and some of the players i came across have the potential to play for the national side.

The pitch is really slow for batting and the bowlers will determine the champions or a special batsman who could tackle the pitch.

Uh, so let me understand this, a bomb blast that happens in Pakistan and Pakistan is really unsafe for any touring team, and amazing happens in New Zealand, in a mosque, on Friday, at the time when people goes to pray, and Bangladesh cricket team were supposed to go there, most probably would have been killed as well if they reached there in time, so it is not an issue at all, right??

I don't mean that what happened in Pakistan is ok or under the circumstances, this should happen, obviously what happened in Pakistan was very bad and obviously, Pakistan has security issues, but bro, come on why different for NZ...
