541  Economy / Economics / Re: WEF On Cryptocurrencies: Crypto is here to stay on: January 06, 2023, 10:35:47 AM
The future of cryptocurrency will not be like the internet because the internet requires massive amount of investment to work normally and it's typically centralized. True cryptocurrency will continue to exist in decentralized manner while the false ones will be centralized and controlled/regulated by power hungry tyrants. True cryptocurrencies will be decentralized and controlled by codes and community of global participants... And anyone is free to join and leave at will... It will be voluntary.
This is why I choose Bitcoin because it can never be controlled by power hungry  tyrants.
The false cryptocurrencies will be controlled and Centralized by them via Trojan horse like Proof of Stake.

Lest I forget, internet is still very much unsafe and riddled with scammers, crooks etc. The ones who control the internet failed massive in this areas. They need to solve that first before talking about crypto.

The massive crash was general. It affected both the stock market and online websites like Facebook. Cryptocurrency's was very much expected by few people who matter or those who are really at the top in true Crypto space. They are predicting a massive bull run soon and I believe them. So, thanks for the concern. You can now go and fix the massive corruption of the internet
542  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: January 05, 2023, 01:03:25 PM
Most likely referring to the sheep who have been confined in that condition for their own good. The truth is that if the world's reward system is fair they will most likely be at the top because they have the potential to be the most moral or upright people in their job.

Becareful how you speak against the poor though. They are supposed to be defended. People who hate the poor don't end well.

544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Libertarians -- where are they now? on: January 05, 2023, 09:37:46 AM
There is nothing anarchist or lawless about Bitcoin. Anarchy is simply a foolish ideology promoted by deranged minds which Satoshi, a smart man, has nothing to do with. Bitcoin has rules (which is strictly obeyed by the community) of which without, anyone can do whatever he/she want like the worthless and satanic anarchy seeks to enthroned.

I wonder who will survive if the World or humans bodies exist in anarchy. Same as Bitcoin, it will completely crumble if it's ruled by anarchy, choas or lawlessness.
By the way, the Bitcoin is already in good hands and will never succumb to cheap and worthless blackmail.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin developer @lukedashjr's wallet was hacked on: January 04, 2023, 06:11:43 PM
Part of the issue is irreversible transaction.
It would be safer to build a decentralized platform on top of Bitcoin where Bitcoin transactions can be reversed if unauthorized people gain access to users coins

You don't know what you're talking about. This would mean that anybody could reverse his transactions for no good reason. The merchants would have no reason at all to use Bitcoin, actually, it would be the opposite: they would avoid it.
One of the ways to do this:
A decentralized platform could offer a reversible transaction service for funds that can only be sent to a multisig address before reaching its final destination. This should enable people with huge amount of Bitcoin to only send their coins to such addresses controlled by them and co-signers. Once a multi-sig address receives such fund the owner is immediately alerted and he can then authorize the transaction and the fund automatically sent to the final recipient. If the owner reject the transaction the coins is sent back to his address

some people thought you were trying to promote a CSW protocol breaking money steal/refund option.. breaking bitcoins immutability

however the multisig option you now describe is how some have done things in the past.. its called escrow

however escrow refunds only work when you want to spend but unsure if the other party will release goods.. they only work when/because you enter a cooperative multisig. to cooperate and agree with the other party on payment/refund terms..

it doesnt work when someone is hoarding and not expecting a hacker to steal funds from hoarded funded addresses

I'm talking about developing a Bitcoin address with corresponding private keys specifically meant for this purpose —sending fund to multisig address before it's automatically transferred to the recipient.

Escrow would be a contract address between the sender and receiver but this has nothing to do with escrow or contract. It's simply a reversible solution for people who could have their keys stolen.

....
If one of the most experienced devs can't keep his stash secure, how do we expect a random, way less tech-savvy users to do it?

So now, the average Joe will get the massage that self-custody is not safe and neither is holding on CEXs (i.e. because of FTX).

Part of the issue is irreversible transaction.

548  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does money bring you security ? on: January 04, 2023, 08:16:05 AM
From my experience, when you see your money, wealth or riches as god to the extent of serving it in order for the god to keep you secure/comfortable in life, our CREATOR allows you to get what you want from your god and you probably wont benefit much from the security and comfort HE provides for those that serve and see HIM as their GOD.  In this case, you will be spending more to provide your security, comfort and even happiness... this will make you to serve or work for money more and more... But it still can't satisfy or give you true happiness or security,... which is more like getting addicted to addictive drugs that can't provide true happiness or joy.

The solution to this is to never to be too attached to money. Exist as if you have no money or as if you are poor, and trust your CREATOR to provide you the security and comfort you need in life. HE will provide, especially if you fear HIM and always desire to please HIM.
549  Other / Off-topic / Re: My cat just died on: January 03, 2023, 02:53:23 PM
My cat was poisoned yesterday and died today morning. I know this isn't relevant with the forum but I don't have anyone to talk to in order to let it out. Second day of 2023 and everything seems to be going great..
If you are sure it was poisoned (deliberately) you could get the one who poisoned it to give you another one and probably pay for the feeding until it grows up to the one that is said to be dead. People have no right to murder animals that don't deserve to be murderd.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Soaring fertilizer prices could see millions more undernourished on: January 03, 2023, 08:39:20 AM
One of the main reasons the world always come to foolish conclusions generated by research and computer simulations is that they remove the CREATOR of Heaven and Earth out of the equation. I remember their predictions about covid and others, but they failed to factor in the realignments that already occurred especially shortly before covid pandemic.   The poor who do not depend on the evil system are heavily protected.
By the way, synthetic fertilizer do not produce good foods nor  rich harvest. You need the right farmers to produce good foods and rich harvest not those that believe that poisoning foods with toxic chemicals will make them grow. Try and grow some foods in greenhouse with soil rich in natural/organic manure and you probably notice the difference. How are you sure the synthetic fertilizer are not  filled with growth hormones?
551  Economy / Economics / Re: The world continues dumping US dollar (Gold, New World Order, World War III) on: January 01, 2023, 04:39:35 PM
Well, the world is too dependent on dollar more than you think. So I don't see it being abandoned soon. Dollar will experience massive fluctuations and will bounce back again  after falling massively. Bitcoin will actually benefit from its falls, especially this year.
552  Other / Meta / Re: AI writing messages on Bitcointalk.org on: January 01, 2023, 02:41:17 PM
The value of AI generated posts actually depends on what it's fed with, if you feed it garbage it generates garbage (garbage in garbage out).
I've gone through several posts generated by it and I think they are mostly worthless, inconsistent, full of lies etc, to the extent I asked it who is his creator and it said a car marker & others created it... "No wonder you are not so smart" I told the AI. I was embarrassed and stop using. Will probably start looking for an alternative or we could join hands together to create a far more superior one based on truth in less than a month.

From my observations of existing AI on the internet, I suspect they look for very honest people or sites in existence and stick to them for Holy/Pure information in order to consistently generate good information that's very dependable and helpful to society without issues. I hope they will be beneficial to the sources rather than being parasitic in the manner they feed from them.

554  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The Eye of Sahara (Richat Structure) is most likely the Lost city of Atlantis. on: January 01, 2023, 12:47:04 PM
Why search for a missing "Atlantis" when you already have one in existence today. Look at the Modern World like USA, Japan, Europe, China, etc.   It's the modern world which will be destroyed by fire unlike the other that was flooded.
A New and Beautiful Earth will be recreated after the destruction.
555  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can anyone guess what could he Bitcoin Difficulty After 100 years Till now? on: December 31, 2022, 03:59:45 PM
If Bitcoin mining difficulty is proportional to hashing power ..it will likely become very low considering that competition to mine for block rewards will no longer be necessary when 21million bitcoins have been mined
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi among us - for those of you not aware of his (/her) legacy in this forum on: December 31, 2022, 03:35:38 PM
If you you want to understand Satoshi's true intention for Bitcoin and speak like him without ever going through his posts or reading Bitcoin Whitepaper, you need to know few things:
1. You need to know The Bitcoin principles and what problems they seek to solve.
2. Or understand what foundation Bitcoin is built on
3. Then let everthing you develop or problems you solve in crypto space be consistently based on the foundation. And you will understand Satoshi and his intention for Bitcoin.

More great things will begin to happen to you when you build on the Bitcoin foundation, you will begin to accurately say things Satoshi said before even without ever reading about them. And Bitcoin will obey you as you have become its Master .  For example, if I say Bitcoin move to $17,000 as its Master, it will.
557  Other / Off-topic / Re: GPU rental on: December 22, 2022, 09:19:19 AM
One of the best ways one could use them profitably is to use them to solve multiple problems at the same time. Satoshi seems to understand this and was able to suggest using Bitcoin miners as source of heat and for mining Bitcoin at the same time, which is sort of solving two different problems with miner at the same time. So instead of buying heater and periodically paying for gas/electricity to heat your home during winter, you simply use one of the by-products of the miners which is heat to heat your home when you need to while at the same time mining Bitcoin and earning some income. A more clever person could find ways to use the miners to solve three of more problems at the same time. I will advice including problems that you normally would pay money for to solve. Or for problems other people normally pay money to solve. It's important to discover different by-products from the Gpu to effectively put into use and earn/save money with them.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the nodes of Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2022, 04:17:44 PM
Anyone can become a blockchain node provider in the Bitcoin network. All you need to do is to download and install software from the official Bitcoin website. Besides free public nodes, the Bitcoin network has BTC nodes which are not available to everyone. These are cryptocurrency nodes that are employed by exchanges, digital currency exchange services, wallet sites and other infrastructure projects.

Additionally, the Bitcoin network contains....

In regards to the bolded above, my response to that is if it's not available to everyone then it's absolutely not part of the Bitcoin Network. They are just things that depend on Bitcoin Network to survive. And Bitcoin can survive without them.
So special care must be taken not to merge them with the Bitcoin Network unless they are according to the Bitcoin principles.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: Employers are Deflating Salaries in Job Ads to keep Pay Down on: December 21, 2022, 03:46:06 PM
Read a snippet of the article here
Quote
Job seekers are learning that there’s the top end of the pay scale, and then there’s the real top end.

As more companies disclose pay ranges in job listings, especially in places like New York City and Colorado where it’s now required by law, what’s listed as the maximum salary may be closer to the middle, according to multiple human resources executives and pay experts. Some employers are trying to limit the demands of potential hires seeking top dollar, while preventing existing workers from finding out they are underpaid. Range deflation comes up often on industry webinars, but compensation specialists and some human resources chiefs worry it could backfire.

Really crazy things are happening out there. Now to you the reader, supposing you have worked for the past 5 years your current organization and you find out accidentally from the HR in your organization that what you are being paid isn't the highest amount for your position. That is, you are being underpaid, would you ask for a raise or look for another job knowing that with your experience level you'd get a higher pay in another organization?

You could read the complete are here

Well, unlike Bitcoin deflation which main purpose is to keep increasing the price of holders bitcoins and their purchasing power,  the so called deflation of USA employees salaries reduces the actual amount of money they are supposed to be paid and consequently their purchasing power.     I actually will continue working if that is the kind of work I am passionate about and talented in. And that will also depend on the working environment. If I can't change things for good in such environment, I may likely leave but not because of the pay. I wouldn't mind working in another place with lesser pay and the right working environment as long as it's the kind of job I'm passionate about or love.
I just don't work for money. It's my least motivation  because I'm certain that money or reward will always come once I find the right job and do it well
560  Other / Off-topic / Re: Found an interesting phenomenon. on: December 21, 2022, 09:40:46 AM
Last week I had a cold and a stuffy nose and suddenly discovered our breath If you notice it, it goes from working "automatically" to "semi-automatically" and when you focus on your nose, you can visibly feel your breath . When you are busy with work or other things, you can't feel your breath. Did you make this discovery? Do you know how this works?

Of course, things like that can happen when you focus your mind on your self or what you do, you become aware of the happenings in your body and things you do.   Most humans function in automated/sleep state without using much of their mind or thoughts. It's quite better to switch to the automated state after you have repeated a task several times till you "perfect" it. Awareness could make you become confused, paranoid, afraid, and make mistakes unless you have a pure or good mind.

When you use your mind you become aware. Your brain, mind and spirit sync together.
I don't encourage people to make themselves aware unless they have good mind and spirit. Doing this can open a door to the spiritual and deep things in the mind.
