1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain networks with zero incentives survive in the long term? on: July 30, 2021, 04:34:08 PM
In my opinion, incentive does not necessarily have to be in monetary form. You could automatically/manually reward participants who solve some problems like merely running full nodes regularly and honestly with "Points"   While those who solve important problems can be reward with Network native coin. Participants could be occasionally ranked up based on their contributions/rewards.

The right incentive is really necessary for proper decentralization
1442  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Website with copy & paste rebuttals to common critiques regarding Bitcoin on: July 30, 2021, 03:55:29 PM
Interesting.
Does the community have a way of ensuring that all answers are absolutely correct? Maybe by via evidence-based voting... meaning participants can approve or find faults in given answers by upvoting, downvoting or "neutral-voting" based on evidence collected for from Satoshi statements, from Bitcoin whitepaper, early Bitcoin software etc?
And I guess it would be better for a question to have multiple correct answers for people to choose from.

Hope it's really open source. Bookmarked
1443  Other / Off-topic / Re: If we Model what actually contributes to the increase of the disease("Covid") on: July 30, 2021, 02:15:47 PM
One of the solutions to avoid being part of the disasters contributed by others is to establish a society that is independent of the societies that are the source of the disasters. The New society has to be far from the rest and MUST be guided by the CREATOR of Heaven and Earth. It will be society that loves the CREATOR and people. If you Love the CREATOR, you wouldn't abuse/misuse HIS Creations nor displease HIM. The society will be a Church/Isreal and will be governed like a Church. It will be protected by a superior shield or bubble from the FATHER(The CREATOR) and it will have no such disasters
1444  Other / Off-topic / If we Model what actually contributes to the increase of the disease("Covid") on: July 30, 2021, 01:51:46 PM
If we create a model that shows what actually contributes to the increase/decrease of the disease("covid") and other disasters... what the model will show may shock you.  You will always notice that whenever humans begin to misbehave, the disasters increase and when they start loving the disasters dicrease.
Once people understand how delicately interconnected nature is, and how humanity (who is suppose to be in charge) upset its balance, you will be ashamed of humans.

Now, imagine if this is very transparent... that is, whenever a person start contributing to the problems, it shows clearly on a giant screen which can be access publicly. If we have technology like that, I theorize that as those who contribute to the problem begins to show on such screen, people will rise up to harm them, just to stop the disasters.

I think such tech that accurately proves this^ can be created but many won't like what they see. It will be terrifying to watch.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reaction to hear about Bitcoin Fact: No Team and Automatic on: July 30, 2021, 10:44:51 AM
....
So I Will Really Want To Know And Hear About You People That When Did You Know About this Bitcoin and What was Your  Reaction??
And Also If Anywhere im this Post I said anything wrong or any mistake So You Can Also Tell me I Don't Mind.

Note: Sorry For Mistakes And Sorry If Anyone Mind.

One of the things that excited me the most is how global participants run Bitcoin together and achieve consensus in decentralized manner. I've always fancied that kind of collaboration (collaboration without necessarily knowing each other) even before I knew about Bitcoin.
The automation works abit like how factory workers work on things that are routinely sent to them to work on by automated machines/systems.
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you create NFTs on Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2021, 10:16:03 AM
Is there any reason why it can be done with color coins: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Colored_Coins
I think if color coins is possible on Bitcoin Blockchain, NFTs on the Blockchain should also be possible.
We could start with basic NFT on Bitcoin blockchain
1447  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we really heading towards hyperinflation or towards deflation? on: July 30, 2021, 09:55:59 AM
Your own version of "deflationary" shouldn't be confused with "Deflationary Currency" Or currency that reduces in supply, which is exactly what Bitcoin does.
I think Inflation can occur when demand for basic goods and services exceed supply. So if you are printing alot money for particular goods and services esp those that are in high demand, make sure you reproduce enough of the goods and services (without compromising on quality) to meet the demands else there will be inflation.
I think you could experience deflation/decrease in price of luxuries or things people don't typically need, during financial crisis.
1448  Other / Off-topic / Re: Naming Conventions of Altcoins in 2013 on: July 30, 2021, 09:20:20 AM
Probably noticing this for the first time.
In my opinion, a better way of naming Crpto Network would be: Name without coin attached to it (or Name with Coin + Network... like "Bitcoin Network" ), you could simply Have Name with Coin attached representing the native currency of the Cryptocurrency Network...

Eg: A Cryptocurrency Network could be called "Eden" while the native currency could be "Edencoin"... Eden represent a Nation, with native currency "edencoin". The native currency doesn't necessarily have to have name with "coin" though.
If a Cryptocurrency Network uses "a name that has coin" like BitCoin, you could add Network or something after that, like Bitcoin Network which could also be called Bitcoin Community/Nation.
1449  Economy / Economics / Re: Which area will develop after the epidemic? on: July 29, 2021, 04:39:02 PM
After the epidemic? Personally, it seems to me that this is only the beginning, even if we can defeat the coronavirus, then where are the guarantees that we will not face another virus.

Wish they could tackle the diseases the way they are trying to tackle the environmental issues in our world. You encourage humans to live more healthy, natural and moral lifestyle just as people are encourage to use clean/renewable energy sources. This will definitely help the body fight the disease naturally. I wouldn't be surprised if people are expecting to take the vaccine and continue living life as usual without changing for good...that would be like artificially fighting environmental issues in our world without getting people to change their behavior
1450  Other / Off-topic / Re: Yoghurt on: July 29, 2021, 03:50:04 PM
I actually like it sour with no synthetic chemicals, sugar etc. I wouldn't mind natural/healthy sugar or sweetener though.

If I could make mine from freshly extracted milk without adding anything, I would like it alot.   Things I read on yogurt labels discouraged me from taking them atall. They made me abit sick back then whereas I took them for their health benefits
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19, Lockdown and repercussions on: July 29, 2021, 03:29:05 PM
I just stumbled upon this photo. You can easily notice that most European countries are doing relatively well, except for most Balkan countries, except Greece. Unfortunately, Russia, founder of the Sputnik vaccine, isn't doing so well.

Russian users have already explained this. There is a lot of hesitancy in Russia against the vaccine and they are probably the only country where there is an oversupply of the COVID vaccine. If I am not wrong, less than 20% have received at least one dose of the vaccine in Russia. On the other hand, countries like Argentina mostly rely on vaccines imported from Russia, and they have managed to achieve a vaccination rate of close to 50%. And the rates haven't improved in Russia, despite the recent spike in infections/deaths.
one of the barriers to vaccination is the amount of fake news circulating in the community. there is a lot of fake news deliberately created by irresponsible people so that people are afraid to receive vaccines. maybe this is what is happening in Russia right now, and of course it is also happening in many other countries.
It's true what you say is also happening in Indonesia they are spreading false news about the impact of vaccines on our bodies,
Of course this is very disturbing because some people believe in it,
After all, the government of each country needs to overcome this so as not to cause chaos

Wonder what kind of news people spread in the country about the vaccines. Are you sure there aren't some truth in them? I hardly hear people complain about the their bodies reaction to the vaccine thesedays compared to the early stage of the vaccination, maybe they are becoming scared of what people would say considering how hostile some are becoming toward the vaccine fear mongers.
A cousin once complained seriously in the early stages after her vaccination, but these days people just say everything is fine even before you finish asking them how they felt after taking the vaccine.
1452  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever NFLsytle kicked a dog head running toward you? on: July 29, 2021, 10:39:11 AM
If you didn't trespass and you were innocent of the crime the dog probably suspected you committed, then it's OK to act on self defense especially if you can safely defend yourself.
If you don't want to make mistakes then use a form of defense that's effective but doesn’t cause injury or death. You never can tell, the dog may be doing that to secure its community or for your sake. Imagine if the dog was a human security officer who is simply doing the job a community assigned him/her to do.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coca-Cola gets into NFTs for charity on: July 29, 2021, 10:13:44 AM

The world's most popular soft drinks giant, Coca Cola has made an official announcement of getting into NFT (Nonfungible Tokens) to raise money for Special Olympics International. The NFT collections, created in partnership with digital designer Tafi, were “inspired by video-game loot boxes” and contain “hidden surprises” available only to those who purchase the artwork. A three-day auction for the Coca-Cola branded NFTs will commence on July 30.

“Each NFT was created to celebrate elements that are core to the Coca-Cola brand, reinterpreted for a virtual world in new and exciting ways,” said Selman Careaga.

NFT is the latest trend in cryptocurrency and many companies are rushing to adopt the idea.

Hope the meaning of the "hidden surprises" is what I'm thinking. Just wish it about safe things though.

I'm actually very much interested in NFT considering how much physical and virtual products can be backed by it in very decentralized and secure manner
1454  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you save your money? on: July 29, 2021, 09:53:22 AM
I sometimes imagine what will happen if everyone rushes to buy real physical gold... the price will rise and other industries that depend on gold for making things will have to pay more to buy Gold.  By the way, our population is too high for gold usage to be sustainable when most people start having and using them regularly.

What do you do if you have lots of gold in times of scarcity or during serious crisis and no one has anything to sell to you in exchange for the gold? Do you eat the gold?
From my calculations, the problems I highlighted above can be solved or prevented with Bitcoin or better cryptocurrency. You can have secret locations of foods you hide somewhere encrypted and stored safely in decentralized manner for future use. You can use your cryptocoins to buy foods hidden in similar manner from other members within your local (or even international) network.
If you want, your private keys can be printed on precious metals like gold or something physical that can preserve it... and stored, given to someone as gift or Sold. People could also have the secret info of where the foods or other basic goods are located to unlock and pick them up.

So, I would recommend having basic good things that you can survive on with your community if you are cut off from the rest of the world. Foods, water filter, things for filtering the air (like mask,), herbs, first aid equipment, couple of modern gadgets, mosquito nets, etc. This can all be hidden safely and their secret locations saved physically and on your devices... You can give/sell to others the locations where they can find the hidden goods for their survival.
Wish this could be solved in "cave man's way" but you need to consider others who may be too used to modern tech.

1455  Other / Off-topic / Re: What was the price of btc when u had your first btc/satoshis? on: July 29, 2021, 08:55:08 AM
I never really paid too much attention on the price when I initially bought it for a service. I think I began to be interested in the price and understanding abit about the fluctuations when I joined crypto communities. I'm fairly sure it was between $900(or probably abit less) to $1000+ per coin when I started trading and betting on the future price on exchanges.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Banking senate hearing (at one point hinting at going after code commiters) on: July 28, 2021, 05:31:04 PM
This is actually one of the reasons we should protect the privacy of programmers, especially the independent ones who are mostly involved in good open-source autonomous projects that entities feel threatened by.
You could build systems that really protect their privacy while still able to hold the programmers accountable for their bad behavior.
1457  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another new phase of Convid-19 due to unvaccinated people on: July 28, 2021, 04:50:52 PM
Lets forget rights here, the future of man kind is threated  maybe what the people need is mandatory vaccination because its the unvaccinated  that will be the source of reoccurrences of the virus.

You think if all the unvaccinted are isolated to stop the spread of the disease then the future of mankind will no longer be threatened by the disease or new ones?
In my community I'd focus more on healthy lifestyle and keeping the human body strong enough to fight and defend against any kind of disease
1458  Economy / Economics / Re: Which area will develop after the epidemic? on: July 28, 2021, 04:25:14 PM
What kind of development, Economic, cultural, etc?
Anyway, I remember when China used to be seen as really poor country where people were only allowed to ride bicycles or something until they probably begin to behave more like others especially in the area of economic development and all of a sudden other countries begin to see her as a serious threat. I remember the country always making it clear that it is not interested in meddling in other countries internal affair, that all it's interested in is economic progress. So, what's happening now? Is the country meddling or not? I haven't notice anything too concerning yet, maybe until the country begin slander other countries or try to prevent them from moving forward in the right direction.
1459  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 28, 2021, 03:38:44 PM
It has nothing to do with being rich or poor. The rich could aswell be taking big risk if all his/her money is invested in Bitcoin at once. I think what is important is to invest part of your money or what you can afford to risk/lose, whether you're rich or not. Don't put all your eggs in one basket in an uncertainty world.
1460  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your projects for the next lockdown(s)? on: July 28, 2021, 10:30:33 AM
Learn to make things that can keep you and your family/community alive during serious global crisis. You can also buy if you can't make them.... but make sure they can last long if they can't be sourced locally, so that they can sustain you through out the crisis period.
I would advice people not to depend too much on things they can't easily make themselves... They should think of local alternatives that are abundant and safe to use.
I always feel it will happen suddenly and many will be unprepared. They are simply living their lives as if everything will eventually return to normal.
