1521  Other / Off-topic / Re: Business Strategy in Entrepreneuring on: July 14, 2021, 03:51:24 PM
Business Strategy is one of the most critical components of any business. Any entrepreneur who is thinking constructively about their company will want to create a timeline. A timeline will help a business grow more fluidly and will start off on a better foundation. When it comes to creating a timeline, it is simply taking your objectives, giving them a budget, and range date for completion. It is my recommendation that you do not overextend yourself. Always make objective decisions based on the data that you have collected.

Once your timeline is created you will have a game plan of how you want to go about achieving your objectives. Having a game plan makes you more knowledgeable, and ultimately more confident. I believe that it is ultimately confidence that will drive one to achieve their dream. Every great person achieved many failures in their lifetimes. It is, however, those failures that made them achieve success.

Creating a timeline is what an entrepreneur or a service provider should do at the beginning. What are your thoughts about it?

In my opinion better to allow everything to happen according to will of our CREATOR, unless maybe HE is the ONE who plans/writes the timeline(or it's according to HIS will). Just keep yourself clean and prepare, and Ideas will come and be completed at the right time, especially when they are destined to come and be completed. But when you use timeline or things like that you could be forcing ideas into your head,  making mistakes, delaying completion dates or even rushing & completing with wrong/substandard solutions.
Always have pen and paper around you to write down ideas just incase they come whenever they are destined to come to you.

You need to ask always for ideas, and things to be done at the right time according to HIS purpose and they will come at the right time and be done at the right time. It's also very important to be pleasing to the CREATOR for HIM to communicate with you and move you to work when the time comes.
1522  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Brainstorming: cryptography-backed job applications? on: July 14, 2021, 03:19:29 PM
Job openings are usually filled internally first, before they even go out to the public. Here in the UK I believe its law to actually post it regardless of whether it has already been filled internally. Using the Blockchain or other solutions might be interesting though, I've never really thought about it being involved in the application process. Personally, I'm not a massive fan of how applications work anyway, with companies now looking to diverse employees, there's probably going to be a lot of bias involved regardless of the way its implemented. Also, while you may come up with a solution that works quite well, convincing recruiters that they don't need access to the entirety of the persons background, skills, and personal details would be difficult, when they can right now legally ask for that.

Interesting. I suspect something like the bolded happens here too. That's one of the things that really discouraged me from applying for jobs back then... Plus you hear shameful things like "you need to know someone to help you secure the job" or  "you need to pay certain amount to certain people" or "your parents or civil servants uncle could help".    I normally weigh some of this option and end up deciding to own or establish my own business back then. Besides I never really like working with people who don't deserve their jobs, no matter how much you pay. It should really be based on merit and the bais needs to be reduced as much as possible.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptophobia, causes, effects and solution. on: July 14, 2021, 10:47:43 AM
One of the reasons for the phobia is intentional/unintentional rumors and spreading of lies mixed truth or outright lie about Bitcoin or true crypto.
I see lots of hypocrisy in the lies. They accuse as if national currencies are better, safer or even moral. I believe, Bitcoin is more moral than Fiats if you considered the fact that it's transparent, decentralized, immutable and does not violate human rights.

Few days ago, someone told me that she heard or read from video/audio/article that Bitcoin will be one world currency and was meant to be use to monitor (and probably control people or something).  I simply told her such tyrannical system would prefer fiat-like currency for such monitoring and control. It'd would be difficult on Bitcoin as it's decentralized, transparent, privacy-friendly, anonymity-friendly , etc. It's a currency system of free people, that is why few who understand it are embracing it. The highly corrupt and those obsessed with power and controlling others tend to hate it unless for selfish/evil reasons.

It should be used only by people who have good reasons for using it and can use it safely.
It's a work in progress. Its technology will be used to save lots of humans during serious crisis and during the reign of lawless tyrants

1524  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore, the banking industry, and Bitcoin on: July 14, 2021, 10:05:42 AM
I wonder who will then need Bitcoin and decentralized tech more between the two nations. I would go where it's really needed the most and use that to fight corruption where people are humble enough to accept they are corrupt.
The world is in the power of the wicked one. No one is good, not even one.
Every Worldly society is in the Evil System... Remember  "Matrix"... it's deeper and worse than that
1525  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you call Betting in your culture? (continue here) on: July 14, 2021, 09:44:32 AM

Betting is called = Taya meaning to risk or to gamble either Money , Experience or reality because Bets does not only exist in money but also in many things that we can risk and spend in our lifetime.

But about if it is bad thing? no because it is our free will and our own desire, as long as you are not affecting others life ? then just go with iit.

That is not the Betting I am referring to.  Choosing the right unknown or staking something valuable on the right unknown should be simple meaning of Betting. The right one could be determined "randomly".   Have you observe referee ask two players from two opposing teams to choose the right side of a coin that will be used to determine who takes the favorite parts in the beginning of a game? What the referee made them to do was bet and the favorite side was determined through lottery or coin flipping in the air... There is nothing risky about this.

Depends on the level of risk. Risk can be very minimal hence it doesn't qualify as gambling unless it's maximum risk. If mere risk is gambling, everyone on earth would be considered gambler because we take risk regularly. Risk has to little to be considered safe by World's standard. It'd be pretty hard to find zero risk.
1526  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Brainstorming: cryptography-backed job applications? on: July 14, 2021, 09:13:20 AM
If you want a cryptographic solution that's simply based on merit, i would probably develop it such a way that applicants identity won't matter that much. Applicants can be completely anonymous, as long as their true identities have been verified by reputable ID Company that's in no way connected to the hiring Company. I don't need to know their identities which should be hidden to the interviewer for unbiased assessment of applicants qualifications or scoring them blindly without knowing any of them.   The results will create lots of surprises because interviewer won't likely be decieved by appearance or favour people who don't deserve the job.
I will blindly test the applicants(who could also be occasionally randomize during the tesing stage) to know who can solve list of complicated problems related to the fields they apply for . The best solutions get the job. Will also consider applicants reputations and past works.
I think i will use a scoring system that's is based on finding faults in applicants answers. And there will be list of rules on which the scoring will be based on. Those with less fault will be given the jobs.

Agreed, you absolutely want identity blinding to remove biases. Also, applicant assessment using tests is supposed to be bias-free.

I'm not sure about reputation and past work. This is something that needs to be handled since it is what human resource staff would expect. But how to avoid biases here? For example, if the applicant wants a job at company A, and has a past work reference from company B where there is some proximity between A and B, one could expect that there would be a higher chance of being chosen.

A way of blinding past work and reputation while keeping information relevant for determining the qualification would be great.

I think reputation entails knowing how consistently honest a job seeker was in recent past (maybe past three years). I will assume all responsible employers would be looking for honest people to employ.

I will probably focus mostly on the position of responsibilities handled by the job seeker in the past and how honest he/she was in the position. I may even go through what he/she says in public to see how honest he/she is or was.
I think you could still mask certain words that could create the biases(esp identities of harmless things society/people are attached to) and also keep the job seekers anonymous

1528  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you call Betting in your culture? on: July 13, 2021, 04:16:33 PM
Ofcourse, I'm aware that gambling is prohibited by certain society or religion(like Christianity)

What source are you using for that information? It is inaccurate. Christianity is concerned about gambling due to the dangers it poses to individuals, families and society, but gambling and games of chance are not prohibited by Christianity.

I did not mention gambling in my post. Gambling to me not equal to Betting. Gambling is taking big risk.
But if by gambling you mean taking big risk or being financially reckless in Betting or other things, I can guarantee you that GOD's Words does not encourage that. It's immoral hence a sin.
Bet but don't gamble.

Once again, we are discussing Betting, not gambling, so beware of blasphemy.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the birth of Bitcoin triggered a revolution in accounting? on: July 13, 2021, 03:59:25 PM
Quote
  • 1.Transparent:All accounting information is transparent, anyone can check them.
  • 2.Equality:All bookkeeping nodes are equal, there is no difference between them, and everyone has the same status.
  • 3.Shared:All bookkeeping nodes share bookkeeping information, and all record all information in the ledger.
  • 4.Immutable:When the ledger information is confirmed by consensus, unless a 51% attack occurs, all ledger information cannot be tampered with.
  • 5.Holographic:Bitcoin ledger can not only record the transfer of funds, but also record the transfer of information, integrating funds and information transfer.
  • 6.Decentralized:The Bitcoin ledger is a common accounting by multiple nodes and maintains a ledger together, so there is no center.
This is my opinion, what about you ?

Interesting.
But number two not really necessary as long as all/most participants run full nodes and take part in full network consensus.
In a fair model that easily scale, certain participants can choose to control multiple full nodes of different sizes to guarantee continuous data availability and to enable any kind of participants (most/all participants) run customizable full nodes that will hardly get too large or difficult to download/run. With this, anyone can still equally participate in full network consensus, whether you control multiple full nodes or just on mini full node. and Bitcoin ideals/principles are still preserved
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A DEX Project Based on The Avalanche Protocol----Pangolin on: July 13, 2021, 02:53:44 PM
I wonder how they'll determine who gets the governance token. And I suppose you need to have the token(alot maybe) in order to take part in governance... But if you don't have the token, you can't take part in governance, right? Yet "Crypto fans" will still call project with that kind of governance model decentralized.
A truely decentralized Crypto project should simply require you to download your full node to take part in proper consensus/governance just like Bitcoin otherwise it's not True Cryptocurrency project and definitely not decentralized. This can be easily proven.
Such governance model should never be relied on as decentralized.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a true decentralized currency? on: July 13, 2021, 10:54:17 AM
The whale manipulates its value and is so easily manipulated. Is this decentralization?

I guess you mean whales manipulate the price.
Well, the price is based on demand and supply...so certain people would try to exploit/manipulate this for selfish reasons and to the detriment of the Bitcoin community/users.
If you allow Bitcoin to have a robust internal and fairly independent economy, and/or have better decentralized mechanism for checking price manipulation (which creates extreme price volatility), we wouldn't be worrying much about manipulation.
Besides, I wonder what currency/asset can't be manipluted if you allow people to attack/exploit it without being penalized.
Even Gold price seem suppressed and that sounds like manipulation to me, yet gold is fairly decentralized.
1532  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 13, 2021, 10:13:04 AM
Cryptocurrency is a new trend in the modern financial economy, and it is an Internet-based medium of exchange that can be traded using cryptographic functions.
The decentralization and transparency of cryptocurrency makes it free from government supervision and control, and it is the owner who controls own wealth.

Ofcourse. But combining the Transparency and free from government supervision sounds counterintuitive. One of the purposes of the transparency is for network participants (which includes government) to publicly verify transactions while taking part in consensus or governance.   So, true cryptocurrency network is the true or right public network unlike what we have with fiat currencies systems.

That's the kind of network/system a honest and transparent government ought to be using. So, I think it's right and moral if the fiat systems is truely decentralized, transparent and public.  Besides, it's hard to abuse your power on well decentralized and transparent system with good rules/principles.

A crypto based government can easily print cryptocurrency out and distribute like they print and distribute paper fiats. There will be more transparency and accountability in Crypto printing

Most common stressor is an anxiety that people commit suicides or worse depression and this problem must be addressed by the specialist person that's study how to calm and meditate the behavior of people who experienced this scenario. Mostly happened this case is where in the school that a kind of people who are very loner they are prone of this case cause they are problematical person that's why every school has a guidance counselor to settle down and calm the student

https://adaa.org/understanding-anxiety/depression. This link is about anxiety /depression

I don't understand the bolded part very well, but I guess it's trying to say that lonely people mostly experience depression and anxiety?
I don't think it's true assuming that what it means. Maybe the depression causes people to be lonely rather than natural loner are depressed people.
I actually enjoy being lonely, doing very useful things alone . Mingling with noisy people, especially those who spread hopelessness, fear, pessimism, etc made me feel depressed and defeated back then. Whenever I'm alone I became rejuvenate and happy.
Hardly experienced that since I found the TRUTH.

"Loneliness kills", Being alone and lonely is completely different.

When someone feel that loneliness then they are facing some kind of mental disturbance which can be a small thing or big thing.

But many people don't know how to get out of it, so they get into a depressed state and the extreme reaction can be suicidal thoughts.
Ofcourse. And you can still be surrounded by people and still be lonely if you don't get what you desperately need.
Depression can hit someone who loses something he/she puts all/most of his hopes in especially if he/she thinks there is no way out of the situation. I think if people gather around the person, identify the problem, give hope and also show love, by probably providing a good alternative to the lost things, that person will quickly recover once he realize there is hope and that he/she is loved.

A true nomad wouldn't depend too much on heavy centralized/stationary power sources for running his own business. You always anticipate break down or "refusal/denial of service" from people or power source, so you try as much as you can to have efficient and mobile alternatives you can easily take anywhere with you.

I actually can go to anywhere I want without really needing any centralized or stationary power sources to power my devices and businesses. I try as much as possible to avoid running business that demand too much concentration of power source or reliant on centralized sources. This is what people like me would always calculate in much part of their lives while making decisions.

Part ^ of the reasons I don't like luxurious properties and things I don't need at home or in life generally.
1535  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: July 09, 2021, 05:06:28 PM
Investment doesn't necessarily have to be in things that offer immediate financial benefits. You could also invest in your education(good education) , or invest in improving your talents. you can then use what you learn to benefit others and earn a living
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak Calls Bitcoin a "Miracle," Says It's Better Than Gold on: July 09, 2021, 04:11:32 PM
According to El Sol de México, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak called Bitcoin "the most amazing mathematical miracle" during the Jalisco Talent Land Digital 2021 event.
He also believes that this index currency is more valuable than gold. Because gold is not scarce enough:
"We keep finding gold. One day, we will manufacture it in factories."

Even if the 70-year-old tech entrepreneur does not personally invest in this leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, he is convinced that the cryptocurrency will have a special place in the future.
Wozniak has been a staunch supporter of Bitcoin for years. In June 2018, he said he would like the currency to become a global single currency.
In December, he launched his own cryptocurrency company, Efforce.
During the recent event, the legendary computer engineer said that artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) could change people's lives for the better.

I doubt the artificial gold will be of thesame quality or of thesame value as natural Gold. Maybe call it Clone of Gold or something.. More like how you have Bitcoin and many Bitcoin clones which look similar but are not exactly thesame. So real Gold, as real Bitcoin will remain scarce and can't be counterfeited
1537  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you call Betting in your culture? on: July 09, 2021, 03:36:09 PM
In Philippines there are so many names for it or terms it would depend on how and what game would it be.
For betting I think it would Pusta when you are betting on something,
And now the famous term when it comes to cockfight is Talpak.
And also gambling or betting could also be called Sugal and the heavy or addicted to it are called Sugarol.
And it isn't considered as a bad thing at all it just depends on how you would handle it.

Interesting. But I'm actually talking about betting not gambling (taking big risk). Ofcourse, I'm aware that gambling is prohibited by certain society or religion(like Christianity). Gambling is actually immoral but what I'm referring to is Betting, Prediction or Lottery, they are actually not immoral if done in moderation or with safe games/competitions/event. It's OK to use betting, lottery (casting lots) to randomly distribute prize/values to winners. I still don't see anything wrong in that. But it's not ok to gamble or take big risk in betting, lottery or prediction market, those are gambling actually.
My Religion is ok with Betting or casting Lot, if done right

1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the statement that Bitcoin is a private digital currency correct? on: July 09, 2021, 10:35:05 AM
It's clearly a public network/currency and not owned by a single person just as natural resources like Gold and other precious metals is owned by all rather than being privately owned.
It definitely doesn't make sense to ban Earth's resources like Gold just as it does not make to ban Bitcoin. You could probably only ban it if it's privately owned
1540  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin be infinite? on: July 09, 2021, 10:08:18 AM
Unlimited in what way? You mean the total supply or something else? I have seen a figure that looks like horizontal 8 used in representing infinity but don't know what that's really about. Is that what you mean by infinity? Hope you can explain what you mean to help me determine if it's possible with Bitcoin.  Just hope it's not about Bitcoin supply.
Yes, I am not referring to the total supply, because this is known and the maximum supply cap is set. I want to know its value, can it be infinite, thanks for the reply to make me understand now.

If by that you mean what society and people can use Bitcoin for is infinite then I would agree to some extent as long as it is used for good alone. Afterall it's decentralized and has can be freely used by free people without limit unlike centralized systems.
One of the features that can be used for lots of things is the private keys. You could absolutely use it for lot of things including locking your door and other private properties and truely feel safe because nobody but you knows the keys to unlock them. I have never really like the centralized digital locks.

But if you mean the price going up continously without end, that will also depend on whether it can continue to be useful without end
