561  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 1oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seat on: September 14, 2015, 05:12:07 AM
Why is it referred to as a "seat"?

Thanks.
562  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS] ANACS Graded Casascius Silver Gold Coins [UPDATED 12SEP15] on: September 14, 2015, 05:03:05 AM
Will beat any competing prices!

Your prices are wild, man. Two weeks and no response...time to drop those prices.

How are you coming up with these prices? You're asking BTC1 more for the MS69 all silver as compared to the MS68 silver - for what reason does the MS69 command such a greater premium? DO you know how many mint state versions of these coins exist? Nearly all of them. They'v never been "circulated" they've never been pocket change, there's nothing unique about your mint condition, straight from the roll Casascius coin than mine or anyone else's!

I'd pay BTC1.30 for an all silver.

563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: September 14, 2015, 04:54:39 AM
I have been waiting for 2 days now for signature payment.
Really when you think that you will be paid and you don't get in time sucks.
Better is paying bi-weekly when the payment is delayed, waiting...
Btw, Coinut doesn't pay weekly, you get paid every 8 days instead of 7. GL hope you get paid soon. Tongue

Since everyone here is a pro at getting paid...and only posting so they can get paid, I think it's time to move this thread to a place more appropriate - like bitcoin, economics, services discussion (because this is talking about earned bitcoin) or micropayments...cause no one's really earning that much on a daily basis.

565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NSA KNOWS on: September 14, 2015, 04:42:09 AM

Also, think the following: if you are so scared to show that you use Bitcoin, what will happen in the future, when a large part of population will use it?
Will they all pretend to be still using dollars? Cheesy

What will happen? The NSA will have a harder time doing anything illicit with the information they're tracking, because the more people that use it the greater the protest if something illegal happens from the government agencies.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: Our financial problems are derived from money? on: September 14, 2015, 04:36:15 AM
Saying that our financial problems are derived from money (because it is debt) is like saying our murder problems are derived from bullets.

This analogy doesn't make sense. Debt isn't to financial problems as bullets are to murder problems. And I don't know of a better analogy using murder and bullets (it just doesn't work). But debt is the root of the financial problems in the world. If no one borrowed (literally, fractional lending too) we wouldn't have the same financial problems...we also wouldn't have a lot of research, technology, buildings, goods, or prosperity.

Debt creates opportunity, which is good. But it makes people slaves and controls lives, which is bad.

We can't cure all the financial problems in the world but we can influence them from the ground up. Don't borrow so much money. Don't let debt exist on your personal balance sheet for full term. If we all borrowed less we would change a lot of the financial problems in the world.
567  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Al Qaeda Leader Declares War on ISIS on: September 14, 2015, 04:22:39 AM
ISIS began as the Iraqi branch of Al-Qaeda, but two years ago they split from the group.
Who will win the fight between this two deadly extremist groups ?

Source : http://abcnews.go.com/International/al-qaeda-leader-al-zawahiri-declares-war-isis/story?id=33656684

This would be great.

I have read the opposite news. Al Qaeda declares loyalty to ISIS. I don't remember the source and I am not finding it now but I'm sure about this. But my question is: How is possible that these two twins declare war each others?

This would be bad.

Would the mainstream media report what the population wants to hear or what the population thinks is be the truth...tough call.
568  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Vote] Who did 911? on: September 14, 2015, 04:18:25 AM
Don't believe the hype. And never forget that Osama Bin Laden did this shit...

P.S. Why aren't you all talking about how the Bin Laden family owned the crane that crashed the mosque and killed 107 worshippers...on Sept. 11, 2015...of all days. This is something worthy of all your attention and chatter...http://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/world/bin-laden-family-from-911-attacks-to-makkah-crane-crash/

Nice insertion of USA propaganda....never forget!!11

And what does a billionaire's family owning a crane that crashed have to do with 9/11?

Really? You're believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy but won't comment on the bin laden families role in the death of over 100 muslims on 9/11 this year? At least be consistent! It's quite interesting...fate maybe...that the family that produced one of the greatest terrorists in the history of the world was involved in killing their own people and that lightning struck (essentially an act of God) on the anniversary of that families worst contribution to the world (to cause said killing by that family's asset).
569  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: September 14, 2015, 04:14:03 AM
No. Not even I have had 0.01 BTC. I think I can't enter to signature campaign. This account have very little post.
I even not can talk or write English fluently. This would be sucks when the price go to the moon Sad
I just have DOGE.

This post is decent enough to apply for a signature campaign, and being involved would help you with your English. Give it a shot...earn some coin...join us!

571  Economy / Economics / Re: New Reserve Currency of The World on: September 13, 2015, 04:20:36 PM

Will the  Yuan become a reserve currency? Yes I think it will. If not now with this meeting then most definitely with the next.

Will it give bitcoin a boost? Yes.

If the Yuan becomes the reserve currency, why would it give bitcoin a boost? It won't, it'll give the Yuan a boost (because Yuan will have become the reserve currency).

The impact of the Dollar not being the reserve currency will have relatively low impact on the US. It'll impact inflation and the value of US bonds, but that's it. The businesses that exist in the country are largely going to stay functioning - revenue might drop a but due to the inflation (and consumers not being able to afford as much as the once could) but it's not like demand for goods and services is going to disappear completely.

People have been saying "the US is in for tough times" for at least 15 years (if not more). In fact the US had crazy inflation in the late 1970s to 1980s and they pulled out of it just fine!
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition to pass the Bitcoin Alert Keys to Andreas M. Antonopoulos (w/POLL) on: September 13, 2015, 05:59:38 AM
Andreas for President! (after McAfee)

That's fine the President (for any country) doesn't have access to the Bitcoin Alert Keys...
573  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Vote] Who did 911? on: September 13, 2015, 05:53:22 AM
It's so much harder for truthers to create and defend "their truth" than to just believe the most logical and obvious answer. But I get it, I get it, "that's what they want yo to believe" so it's easier to believe their lies and deception, right?

Or...maybe, just maybe...the most logical and obvious answer could be the right answer. Maybe the idea of conpsiracy is only serving the imagination of those that cannot settle for an obvious view of reality.

If you need some encouragement, err education, here's a few reasons why the "truthers" are living a lie:

Don't believe the hype. And never forget that Osama Bin Laden did this shit...

P.S. Why aren't you all talking about how the Bin Laden family owned the crane that crashed the mosque and killed 107 worshippers...on Sept. 11, 2015...of all days. 574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition to pass the Bitcoin Alert Keys to Andreas M. Antonopoulos (w/POLL) on: September 13, 2015, 05:43:30 AM
The bitcoin alert key should be taken from Gavin for his attempt to go his own way without, he's abused the privilege. Let it be a lesson that significant changes need to be socialized and shopped and come with significant support from the community (not just the developers). The community can leave bitcoin for another option just as eagerly as we all want to stay...it would be troublesome but it could happen.

Satoshi and Theymos are the only two who've shown genuine interest for the community...this it the test that needs to be passed.
575  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Earn Free Bitcoins? on: September 13, 2015, 05:14:17 AM
Earn does not equal free. Earn means you've given something for the payment.

There is NO way to earn free bitcoin.

You must spend time, money, or effort to get your bitcoin...

well gift or giveaway are considered real free earning, in any sense, no time or money are involved to acquire those amount

everything else that require very little and give you big amount of coins can be considered free too

Pretty much - Possum577's point seemed somewhat of a meaningless distinction to make here, when any way to acquire BTC (or just about anything else, really) will require users to spend a minimum amount of time and effort (even if just to provide a Bitcoin address for a giveaway, as you suggested), and whether or not someone considers them free may depend only on how much time/effort/whatever they are willing to spend for it - some consider faucet rewards free and worthwhile; some many others consider them a waste of time and money (money that could more easily be acquired elsewhere).

Meaningless? You're agreeing with me! My point is that this thread is pointless because there's no such thing as earning something for free unless you're literally winning the lotto...and that doesn't exist in Bitcoin. People talk about "giveaways" but there's nothing like that here. If someone knows of one, please share it with me so I can join.
576  Other / Off-topic / Re: Law and Order SVU...? on: September 13, 2015, 05:08:32 AM
How big was the framing of bitcoin as the "currency of child molesters"? Was it really direct or is it possible you're trying to associate the criminal topic with the fact that bitcoin was the currency? Did the script ever say something as bold as "bitcoin is the currency of child molesters"?

Writers are going to use whatever information they think is generally realistic and could resonate with the public (even if the public's perception or understanding is completely false).

Maybe you should write Law & Order and ask them to write an episode that puts bitcoin in a more favorable light...
577  Other / Politics & Society / Re: University of California: The Right Not To Be Upset By The Speech Of Others. on: September 13, 2015, 04:49:56 AM
Can we get a TL:DR?

Universities, like businesses, are entitled to define the attitudes that are expressed and the discussions that are had as long as it doesn't discriminate against protected classes (i.e., race, age, etc.) If their students or customers don't like those attitudes or discussions they can go to a different university or business. University of California is not limiting people's rights, they're defining their culture.

No. 140 characters or less are for people who can't read or think. Everyone in this this forum can. Of course if one likes to form an opinion without reading anything... That's OK too...

 Smiley

Don't be an ass.

In the business world if you can't give someone the answer first they don't have the time to wait for the end of your story to find out. The reason most people on this forum don't respond to your rants is not because they're rants but because they're too damn long! This isn't novel writing, it's a forum thread - get to the point!

Ok...allow me 20 minutes to ready your position paper...

So your point, or question, is the bolded underlined section below?

When these students and faculty members are told that certain views about disabilities, about race or ethnicity, or (by obvious extension) about sexual orientation, sex, or religion have “no place at the University” — and violate others’ rights to be “free from” such “expressions” — will they feel free to openly discuss these topics? Or will they realize that they had best follow the orthodoxy?

My answer: Yes, they'll feel free to speak openly about these topics as long as their purpose of discussion is related to...

"...the course content, teaching methods, scholarship, or public commentary of an individual faculty member or the educational, political, artistic, or literary expression of students in classrooms and public forums that is protected by academic freedom or free speech principles.”

If students don't like these rules, or see them as stifling the education process, they can apply to and attend one of the other public or private schools in the country.

You say you're tenured faculty member - not at UC I presume otherwise you'd be sharing your concern with an audience that actually has a vested interest in the University of California policies (rather than a Bitcoin forum that has an audience that is largely international.) What's your faculty role?

I think a better question for you to ask yourself - if you hold so much contempt for these policies - is what are you doing to change what you think is an injustice or bad course of direction? What are you doing to affect change? What are you doing to cure "this cancer" as you call it?

I look forward to your thoughts, try to be concise.
578  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muhammed in the Blockchain on: September 11, 2015, 08:51:31 PM
This is interesting, why didn't you tell us you were doing this back in January when you did it?

One thing that has left me questioning how the Islam religion operates globally is why no one from Islam (especially some well known Amam or lslamic leader) has never stood up to speak out agains terrorism conducted in the name of the religion. Plenty people say "Islam isn't violent" but no one takes a public stance or stands united with the rest of the world to fight these people who pervert this religion.
579  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Bitcoin Debit card on: September 11, 2015, 05:27:33 PM
I'm looking to for a credit card that can be recharged with BTC

IYO, What are the best options ?(NO SCAMS PLS)

There is a lot of possibilies here , I can't speak about Xapo and E-coin cannot be shiped to U.S if you are there unless you ship to a friend elsewhere the nhe ship it back to you .
Bit-x.com seems to be good and also they removed the monthly fees as far as I know , same goes for Advcash they have low fees and also low cost (if they didn't change the prices then it's 1$ for Virtual carda nd 5$ for Physical card)

This guy doesn't seem to have any idea!

I haven't used a Bitcoin debit card but I know several companies are offering theirs for free - personal use is more valuable than any recommendation so why don't you test a few out and see what YOU think. It's easy to set up a wallet, fees are minimal, transactions don't have to be high. Just get a few of these cards and then use them to buy a coffee.

Let the rest of us know what you think because it would be very valuable to the community here.
580  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many BitCoins, LiteCoin, USD can I get for Logo design, model design? on: September 11, 2015, 06:56:01 AM
Do you design the logo or do you design the color and graphics that go into a logo?

If I tell you about my business, mission statement, goals, target customers, etc, can you think of what my logo should be? Provide me with several varieties? Take the creative process from start to finish?

I'm trying to gauge where you fit into what people may need.
