5701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: August 01, 2016, 07:31:12 AM
sell bitcoin without going through the exchanger services, i think that's a good idea.
in Bali is already available, now u can buy and sell Bitcoin directly. yes i know bali it's not big city like paris and others.

-snip-

Well the gold stores had sucess and opened several in several places, i believe with bitcoin being the buy and sell the only service you will need to profit, but sure would be great to go to a store and sell my bitcoins and get the cash in hands, i believe it may work is you dont have to rent a space.
yeah it is a very good thing for the development of bitcoin. exchange that is in offline and physically will give interest to new users until she wants to join with bitcoin. and also the physical exchange will help the bitcoin users, especially in the city. I would be very happy if this offline exchange can exist in every city across the country? is it possible
This would have the need of government approval, wouldn't it?
If you do not have any problems with that then you are absolutely good to go! Not only that this is a good publicity for bitcoins but also an opportunity for nearby bitcoin users to buy bitcoins without having to worry about online scam transactions.
5702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: July 30, 2016, 12:00:38 AM
first bitcoin will not disappear. because it has no become a permanent currency and people are using it as a fiat currency in different areas. but if still bitcion disappear then people will really be in panic.
of course bitcoin cannot just disappear though theoretically its price might drop to a very low number then a lot of people would quit using bitcoins and bitcoin would kinda disappear
But as long as people are having some faith with the bitcoin ecosystem, they will keep on buying when bitcoin prices available for lower prices. So, the price drop will not that much impact to make bitcoin to disappear as long as people are believing with bitcoin ecosystem.
Yes, the price of bitcoin comparatively less significant for the survival of entire system. Because people will keep on using bitcoin for whatever price it will be available. When some people join in the seller side in bitcoin trading for their own specific reasons, at the same time some other people will come forward to buy. As long as this keeps on happening, bitcoin will not disappear.
5703  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2016, 07:41:47 PM
I have a large portion of my assets in Bitcoin right now, as that is one of the things I choose to invest in and work for on this forum and through other job systems. The other portion of my assets is in cash, and it typically gets passed through my hands fairy quickly because of utility fees, taxes, everything else that I have to deal with. Anything that I don't have to move quickly typically goes into Bitcoin.
I don't have a large asset to be honest, but I too have most of my asset in bitcoin. The salary I get from my job is only enough to pay for my necessities and to help my family aswell and I have quite a lot of time with me after my job everyday so I do signature campaigns, sometimes do minor services for bitcoins as well.
5704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whwn you do not get confirmations on a transcation... on: July 28, 2016, 07:23:29 PM
I've had this experience as well. I have multiple wallets and as I was transferring funds from my online wallet from Coinbase to my desktop wallet which is Electrum, I was kind of monitoring it and after about 15 minutes, I was certain that it should have at least one confirmation and I checked, there wasn't any. The first confirmation was done in around 30 minutes or something and that was probably one of my most anxious 30 minutes.
5705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 21, 2016, 03:36:53 PM
Gambling can wreck your life when you put everything at stake and all is busted otherwise loosing some bucks can make you frustrate but can not have huge effect on your life. Gambling fixes life I don't believe this can happen as it is just disastrous soon you are going to give all winnings back if you win some jackpot too.

It is very true and a lot of people who already feel over it, but I see that everyone be like that because it is not a good self control in the face of all the chances of that happening in gambling
Maybe self-control save your life with gambling. As gambling means a lot of things beyond our control, only very few things (like low bet amount) we can apply our thoughts and skill to make them to be under our control. If we use those things properly, we can make our life gets fixed from gambling profits.
Don't get overestimate about making gambling profits. You will never able to make profits from gambling even you control many things including yourself. Because, beyond those things and your self control there is a major factor which decides the profits of gambling which is luck. Luck is always out of our control so your life will get wrecked over time with gambling.
5706  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: July 20, 2016, 05:19:12 PM
The best thing in bitcoin that i like is I can earn it in various ways.  And when I need money I can convert it to real money, so I can buy things I want.
I like all about bitcoin because it can help me to get extra income.
Well you can real money (cash) in various ways as well so that's not really that reason is not really superior to fiat.
What is superior however is the speed of sending money from the two ends of the world. Surely, cash can not match the speed of that transaction.
5707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: July 20, 2016, 05:07:36 PM
IS there any Bitcoin Bank that really works like bank that provide interest for customer that available in this world?

At this point of time no. Maybe in the future. At this point of time only site that lends bitcoin are existing. You deposit your bitcoins to them and they will give you a share in the interest or profit from the lending they made. It's like a time deposit in banks but only it has high returns compared to banks. But we do hope bank will not hold bitcoins in the future otherwise we can no longer enjoy the high interests that we enjoy today using bitcoins

True, that if for the time being there is such a thing. Then the flower that is given is very little compared to the interest given by banks. So we don't have to think something is still unclear. Think of ways to get even more so bitcoin if indeed in the future becomes the most expensive currency bitcoin we benefit are doubled and began an extraordinary life
There are some banks that are already eye-ing out for the integration of bitcoin into their banks. I believe there are articles about that, especially the one that is about a bank that's based on London(? not sure). They are researching and developing a system that will enable them to make a bitcoin bank so the "future" that we're talking about is probably a lot sooner than what we expect.
5708  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: July 14, 2016, 02:23:21 PM

5709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: July 13, 2016, 01:29:49 PM
i think no one will suggest you and will answer you in yes that gambling make for kids. kids should continue their study. Gambling is also not good for elders. they should minimize their such activities.
Yes if we teach this to our kids, We only spoil our kid's life with our hands. So better don't teach them and also don't do any gambling activities in front of them. The elders are only suffering a lot to come out from this gambling. In this situation, kids learn this means their entire life will be gone.
Indeed true, if you teach them gambling while it is a peak time for them to study then you actually are asking them to become hardcore gamblers. I sometimes wonder how many of us gamblers are kids or students and not really matured people.
5710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: July 13, 2016, 01:01:52 PM
Yes I have planned for making my income from bitcoin, I will create a forum with a good category and there I will invite my friends to paricipate in the discussions and there I will ad some banners from a ads ad network with which I will earn a better amount for less efforts.
I think that earnings will not be from less efforts , you will have to do hard struggle for it to invite people to that forum, and after that you will be able to earn money from the ad networks, and the better is that you add banner from a number of ad networks, with that you will multiply your earnings.
5711  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: July 13, 2016, 11:51:15 AM
I do still believe in BTC, but I am still unsure about the future of it. I do have questions in my mind like: what happens when the max amount of BTC will be mined, will it rise/fall? What if the USD collapses? What if the Bitcoin will be used as a global currency? How much would it be worth?

There are a lot of questions I've got. For a short term, I am going to believe in it. But we never know what the future can bring us.
If we do not throw all of our coins to the market and will continue to adopt it and will invite more people to this currency and will prefer to use this currency for our normal use then this currency will establish and it will have a very better future and will have a very good value.
5712  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: July 13, 2016, 11:44:23 AM
As of now Bitcoin is very useful the way It gives additional convenience to us ex. Buying online, paying bills, purchasing game cards etc. By the use of Bitcoin. Time comes that this coin have the potential to last longer and in future it would be an ordinary currency that everyone would use on everyday living.
I agree with you, bitcoin is a currency which is much interesting currency for the people and we are seeing everywhere a lot of new and innovative services has been introduced with the payment of bitcoin within a shortest time period, which is the sign of bitcoin's success.
5713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 13, 2016, 10:51:55 AM
No. It would be better if i give my money to other to help them.
That is a completely different topic mate, whether you want to donate your money or you want to keep it to yourself. The question basically is suppose you are rich then would you still gamble ? if yes then you are doing it for fun and if no then you are addicted and gambling just for money.
5714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: July 11, 2016, 07:44:29 PM
Well, i think internet is never goes down. If internet goes down, bitcoin will dead because no one can't using bitcoin on online, but maybe some people can use bitcoin with their offline wallet.
The internet will never go down globally. It might happen in some countries, but that's all.

The great thing is that mining farms and nodes are hosted in different places around the world.

If the internet in one country goes down, then there will always be the other countries left to keep Bitcoin up and running.

That's why it is very important also for the future that nodes and mining farms get spreaded around the globe wisely.
It's not possible globally but there can be internet downtime for many and especially when we need to make transactions urgently, we would need to connect to the internet else the transactions would be held up. In any case, bitcoins would never end with the end of the internet as it will never happen but we need to have phsyical bitcoins to avoid this possibility.
5715  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Spending my Bitcoin on GOLD / SILVER?... Do I have to pay tax? on: July 11, 2016, 07:26:05 PM
but i think i have never seen such an exchange where the exchange of bitcoin in gold or Silver is done. so my personal view is that if there are such exchange who can convert your bitcoin into gold or silver then you must have to pay tax to them.
There are many websites that accept bitcoins as payment mode to buy gold/silver:
bitgild.com
amagimetals.com
veldtgold.com
coaex.com

And many more websites are planning to implement bitcoins as a payment mode. It's only when we convert bitcoins to fiat that we need to care about taxes else it's nothing to fear about.
5716  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: July 11, 2016, 07:06:13 PM
I agree that Bitcointalk is one of the best source of information about Bitcoins.  If you observe carefully, Bitcoin have organized this thread to be new user friendly.  Each Section have its function.  For example, if you want to know about Bitcoin Mining, just jump in the mining section, which is further more sub sect to ea specific thread.  Pretty much this is a must to visit for new people  wanting to learn about Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency.
The mining section doesn't explain much about mining and I had to read the older thread to learn how to mine and what equipments are necessary. Also, there is no sticky post that can help newbies. Same goes for the other sections and the Beginners section has way too any posts explaining what bitcoins are.

These posts should be limited to make the forum more meaningful rather than a bunch of redundant topics.
5717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's Halving Day! What Can You Say? on: July 10, 2016, 09:33:25 AM
The moment we all have been waiting for (well, to most of us but not all!) has come. Does your excitement or expectations about halving are happening at the moment or nothing has changed?

How and what do you feel now that halving is already here? Are you happy or frustrated at this very moment?
Welp, I've already expected that nothing's really going to happen at the very day of the halving. In fact, that's actually what's supposed to be expected. It's not like the price would one day surge to whatever price you guys are expecting. It'll take days, weeks, months even, for the value to rise. Hopefully.
5718  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 10, 2016, 07:50:29 AM
Gold is solid, stable. That's an advantage sure, but the real advantage is that it's a recognized asset ^^

You can't do much with btc... And it's still risky as hell.
You do not have any risk with gold ?
Did gold bring you 300% profits in last 10 months of holding ?
Will you able to transfer your gold to your friend who is thousand miles far away from you ?
Are you using any online services which is accepting gold as a payment ?

Yes gold is solid and just within your pocket. You completely ignored the advantages of modern thing, sticking with old one.
5719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: July 10, 2016, 07:25:15 AM
The newly elected President Rodrigo Duterte wants to stop the online gambling here in the Philippines. Its because they cannot collect tax from it and they don't want people to become addicted to it. What is your side ?
They do not get tax is the actual reason and saying that we are stopping this because we do not want people to get addicted to it is stupid. They are not getting profits with gambling and they seek profit in everything, so maybe they want some profit from this.
5720  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: July 09, 2016, 08:26:27 PM
The bitcoin is safe in my eyes and maybe even safer than any other currency in the online world.
It has a great future its growing very fast and is also self controllable so you can a sort of protect it yourself...
I would have to agree. Since bitcoin is a currency, I think bitcoin is probably the safest crypto currency there is as of now.
As an investment however, I don't exactly know the definition of 'safe' since the value of bitcoin is highly volatile and there is no 'safe' way of getting profits from it.
