581  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 17, 2013, 02:12:05 AM
Well just swapped out PSUs, but apparently still can't get it to connect to BTC Guild.  It appears that it is restarting every couple of minutes.  It was shutting down completely with my 630W PSU, so I swapped it out to an 850W Antec and it is still clearly resetting every minute or two.   Tried Slush's pool but it kept timing out on me... mining can be so very exhausting...

Was hoping to have gotten it earlier in the day, but I am tired and ready to relax and watch some Football.

Here is what the proxy miner is showing:

Here is the settings on the Cube Miner page:

Thanks for all of the help so far, and hopefully I can get it working tomorrow Smiley
582  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 17, 2013, 01:35:20 AM
I think I got the cube set up, now working on getting a pool set up.

Had a hard time figuring out where the hell to change the Uverse Router's IP address but I got it squared away... now setting up DVC and NMC for some merged mining (hopefully)
583  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 17, 2013, 01:04:29 AM
Try to ping the cube.  It sounds like you might not have network or subnet set properly.  Possibly an ip conflict.

Yeah, I think i found the issue.  My stupid router's IP is 192.168.1.254... unfortunately I am not seeing any way to change the IP for a U-Verse router.

Guess I will just auction this thing off...
584  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: [Guide]How To Setup ASICMiner Blades/Cubes on: December 17, 2013, 01:03:17 AM
For people who cannot see the blade on network, for example plenty of home routers have IP 192.168.1.254 set as their default (e.g. BT home hub), so of course you cannot see the blade on that address on 192.168.1.254:8000, as there is conflict in the network. One of the solutions is to go into the advanced settings of the router and change the router ip on something not used e.g. 192.168.1.253 and change the blade setting on something in static range (as mentioned pre set BT hub has usually range 1-63 static and 64-253 set for DHCP) then change the router back on .254, or if you are connecting new blades regularly, consider to move your router address on 192.168.1.1. But all that should be done only by the person, which clearly understands networking, as some mistakes can make your home network non-functional!!!

I have been searching all over the settings for my router, but cannot find any way to change the IP from 192.168.1.254 to something else...

Guess I am just SOL and will not be able to access the Cube page?
585  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 17, 2013, 12:51:41 AM
Well I can't seem to access the Cube connection page.

Got the thing plugged in and powered up, but when I try to go to "http://192.168.1.254:8000/"

I get his error:

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.254:8000.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Sad

Well I got it, powered it up, but when I go to http://192.168.1.254:8000/ nothing happens.

Guess I'm not smart enough to figure this out... lol

The MNF line is fishy tonight.  I thought it would have been closer to -3 for the Lions but it's like -6.5.  I guess the books think the Lions roll but I wouldn't be surprised to see a Ravens outright win.  They need this game and have been getting bounces lately in the last 3 games.

Yeah, I don't like the line at all.  Had the Lions ML on a live parlay from Sunday though... so that would be nice Smiley

Alright, well, I know I went like 2-14 last week with the NFL, but I stand by that being one of the strangest weeks I've ever seen.

Anyways, here are my picks for the day.. not picking all of the games this time:

Pick / odds / five-word prediction
Washington Redskins ML / +201 / Kirk Cousins wants a raise
Seattle Seahawks ML / -370 / Russell Wilson dominates Eli Manning
Minnesota Vikings ML / +222 / Team rallies after losing Peterson
Oakland Raiders ML / +209 / Oakland not technically eliminated yet
Dallas Cowboys ML / -236 / Romo almost always bounces back

thanks for less games and please tell parlay is better or single games only currently have no enough fund so very little things going  Wink

If you want to parlay, I'd do a combination of Seahawks, Redskins, and Cowboys.

The Vikings and Raiders games are interesting to me, but I wouldn't want to include them in any parlays but if you really want to, then take the points instead of the ML.

600  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 16x to 16x PCIe Riser Cables - unpowered - 19cm length on: December 14, 2013, 05:23:06 PM
This is a pre-order.  However, I will not be asking for anyone to pay until I have a ship date from the manufacturer.

Info:
After searching for a long time on the internet and finding only ridiculously priced cables, I decided to go ahead and order my own.  Last night I ordered and paid for a very large quantity of PCIe 16x to 16x Riser Cables.  They are 19cm in length. These are not molex powered.  The estimated ship date is (very vaguely) next month - Jan 2014. I will be updating this section when I receive updates from the manufacturer in China.

Pricing:
1-3 pieces:  $14.95/ea or
4-9 pieces:  $12.95/ea or
10-19 pieces: $10.95/ea or
20+ pieces: $8.95/ea or

(If you are wanting 50 or more, then contact me for a price.)

Shipping:
Shipping information will be provided at a date closer to when I receive the product.  Shipping will be from the USA (76017) and will likely only be available for USA/Canda.  However, if you are ordering a large quantity and don't mind paying international shipping then I will be able to provide that for you as well.
