Agree and yes dev joe do what you like to do it's your passion on code. And yes magi is the only one coin that have once great dev like you. And by the time, The other great people will come to this coin too. And also he/she or it will help Magi Rise. Always wish you luck dev and thanks for your effort. Also sorry cannot help anything since the beginning. And keep good work dev, we don't know how close you're with every thing you want to reach.

I think we need to make it very very easy to mine - i'm thinking one-click mining, or have the wallet set to mine on one thread automatically as a default. You can have the wallet connect to a pool (if solo-mining is not an option). I'm not sure how to get auto-payments to the wallet, maybe the wallet could create an address just for receiving mining payments.
If that won't work, how about an "anonymous" pool, which requires only a magi address, and some simplified mining software to go with it. Getting past antivirus without triggering it is also an issue. We should make it so anyone, even without technical skills, can mine.
Thanks for the suggestions, Coins-R-Us; I got the point, easy mining. I thought about a plan of wallet improvement and integrating mining into the wallet; by simple clicking enables both PoW and PoS. One of the options and what I wanted to do all along is the P2Pool, which will enable mining to address. Kindly some one would offer such a pool, or I'd do any ways. I also like to see any other opinions coming up.
... ..., maybe magi will be one of the few that really is for anybody.
I hope this is the scene of magi in the near future. there is lot IF because we dont know exact what changes joe wana implement
I'd avoid talking much before delivery, and to avoid frustrating community, the same reason for "No ETA"; but a simple route for the current release, a speeding wallet seems running well; I got sync done in the past few days, everything seems running okay, wallet comes up in a minute or so. I'll get another improvement done plus few minor fixes, then release candidates. but he said he did listen to lot of my suggestions and i did suggest less POW rewards move coinrollout more towards POS and make POS easyer manageable by user (zero micromanagement needed via coin control) if that stuff happens i expect a lower inflation more importance of POS and a rapid raise of coin value (les POW inflation and buy coins to be able produce coins positive market effect on more powerfull POS) i would love a coinsetup where POW create not more than 2% yearly inflation and POS not more than 3% then we have a max 5% inflation and can be considered as a very stable coin setup
Yea bud, you have some good points. I'd take the route of revising the monetary system to make magi healthy; however, I'd resist to make changes for the sake of coin value, very much a scene of pure PoS coins and the like, which, I believe not helping coin value in the long run but a possibility of leading to centralization, let alone fail to catch the interests of miners. In general, the majority of the coins should be distributed through a de-centralized way in a significant long period, over which sufficient miners join the party and get a share. One of the conclusions that the total coins generated, e.g., through PoW, should be much greater than PoS, can thus be drawn; same for why mining should stay low. For this reason, I would not think 2% PoW over 3% PoS is a good combination. Though I tend to stick to PoW, a "smart" bridge of PoW and PoS can be a go, for example, when mining goes misbehaving. I do have to re-evaluate the number of coins being distributed, but most likely I suggest to make no changes for consistency throughout.
So I talked about a coin, but not that closely relevant to what business may care about (appears); however, imho the basics will change the way it goes, significantly.
fwiw i agree a long PoW is a good thing, especially where phones and laptops (refrigerators? light bulbs?) may soon be seen as mobile/family mining rigs, KUTGW dev, lets get this stuf into the hands of the people

i've got +100k sprouts, never staked a block super difficult ... i messed up the blocksize ... best to stake big chunks ... mine is split up. so i seldom even try to stake, but keep the sync ... despite that the network always seems strong (lots of connections). ya i used ~2k-4k chunks. why not fix it with coin control? you can use the arrows and space bar to avoid excessive ninja clicking ...

Any reason new wallet 2.1.0.0 quit working last night? Something about C++ library. Tried restarted wallet was last block from Sunday May 29th. Though had blocks up to May 31st. If I start wallet from scratch, seems to sync up without wallet.dat. Put original wallet.dat back in roaming crashes. Freaking WEIRD! Right now wallet sync stuck at Oct. 6th
Peace, Dennis
try resyncing the wallet again but use a fresh backup copy of wallet.dat instead, usually solves that one for me

Is your project proceeding? It would be interesting to hear what your plans are.
Well I will be getting a good enough grade this year, and this project may take more time then I thought. However I will be taking Level 2 next year, we only have one Technology teacher and he has told me, I can submit this project next year as long as its well done in his eyes. So I will take the summer to do my research and come up with my plan. good to hear! good luck with your project

so why not bleutrade?
Ok Submitting our listing to Bleu-Trade. I hope they list us. Vegas Awesome i looked around for the 'add coin' thing too (they used to have a page w/instructions for a dev) didn't find it either, but did come across this, about coins they de-list Understand the reason for the coins removed below: - More than 15 days with dead blockchain (no blocks, abandonment). - Volume less than 1BTC/month. - Updates incompatible with previous versions that can harm the user or exchange. - Another exceptional reason which forces us to remove.

Does anyone knows how to restore broken wallet? I had power failure on the only copy of the wallet and now it's corrupted. Is there any way to pull out private key from it?
afaik it's possible, though perhaps unlikely, if you know how to use cli try curl, if not there are bitcointalk members that will provide the srevice, for a percentage, use the search button ... if you can get the wallet to start at all you can try adding -salvagewallet to the startup command

Can anyone help me how to know if the bitcoin price will decrease? and how to trade bitcoins and earn? Because i invest bitcoins in yobit.net but i didn't know how to properly trade bitcoins. No one knows when it will increase or decrease, it depends on the market. If u want to earn with trading, it has no point when u trade with 0.1 btc or something. I advise u to buy and sell btc with a margin of 5€ per bitcoin. So each btc u sell u get 5€ above the btc price and then u buy 5€ below the price, so u make around 10€ per traded bitcoin, which is not bad. Don't buy and sell worthless altcoins, because yobit supports many shitcoins and doesn't care about it's users. what is the good currency to use for trade? now i use btc to usd, it is okay if i started with 0.004btc? and what is the Ch. and Vol. , 24High and 24Low in yobit.net? what is the meaning of that? why not have a look around Cryptopia, (<---= clicky) where you can trade against btc and 6 other alt. currencies. you'll soon see ...

Thank you Groggin for a great suggestion!!! I have suggested POSP to Griffith, and he glanced it over and said it wouldnt be too difficult to do. So , I certainly like your idea, and I want to move us in that direction. Thank you Groggin, you have always been with me in the good times and the bad.
Vegas
What is POSP? I have never heard this term before? PoSP gives an advantage to someone who supports the network by staking. if say the target annual inflation is 5%, but there are only a few ppl staling, then they will earn rewards equal to the currency's overall rate divided by the number of ppl staking. for example the CBX annual rate is 2%, but active stakers are currently getting 6-8% returns. On the down side, to be competitive, you may need to be online more often I want to find technology that has been proven and implement it into the fly wallet Vcash and Decred. both have amazing dev teams working towards autonomous decentralized self-governance. both are PoW/PoS, very experimental, leaders of the pack, imho vcash fundamental firsts: zerotime = instant tx respndable within one second chainblender - anon txes, fungable currency zeroledger = pruneable blockchain, scalable to millions of users staking with almost no battery drain on android/ios devices multi tier network with incentivized nodes very lightweight easy to use wallet, small blockchain size
