581  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Medically assisted deaths could save millions in health care spending: Report on: December 08, 2022, 03:04:42 PM
Is there a place in the World where euthanasia is done without the consent of the patient? If yes, imagine how wrong that is like abortion. Abortion is done without the consent of the child hence is considered murder. By the way, the consent is taken away from those who deserve to die due to crime they committed. They are killed whether the consent is given or not. Euthanasia is a delicate matter that should be treated with care. I do not think it's moral to do that for economic reasons. Life must be preserved by all means. Do not attempt to put pressure on people (who probably have chance of surviving) due to economic reasons
582  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Transfer bitcoins without internet on: December 08, 2022, 10:33:22 AM
Hello everyone, greetings and respect, I have just implemented a bitcoin BTC payment system in my small community with cold wallets but not all of them are young with internet access. Many of them have expressed their concern to me. It all comes down to how can I transfer bitcoin payments to you without internet?

I do not know if this possibility had been discussed before in this wonderful forum. But I need your help to see if all together we can achieve this.

One of the ways to handle this is to have a trustworthy Bitcoin/crypto business that prints many private keys loaded with small amount of Bitcoin on multiple cards and sell them to people.

It could be done this way:
On the back of the cards, print multiple Bitcoin private keys that contain small amount of bitcoins and seal the keys with tough scratchable materials - > then write for example 6 digit codes on the tough seal and seal with another seal that's less tough . The card buyers will first of all scratch off the top seal to reveal the codes then verify that the card is genuine by sending the codes to the verifying company via sms. Once the codes have been unsealed the card may no longer be transferable.
The final owner of the card can go ahead and unseal the second layer to claim the private keys.

This should be done securely with a reputable company to keep the private keys safe especially during printing & sealing. I prefer private keys loaded with small amount of bitcoins to lessen the risk of losing a card with private keys that contain huge amounts of bitcoins. Your customers could buy many cards when they want to pay for goods/services that cost a lot of money.
583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin no longer be Bitcoin if it were adopted by everyone in the world ? on: December 07, 2022, 09:44:30 AM
Assume one day, Bitcoin would be the only survivor as cryptocurrency in the world and each individual, company, organization and goverment would abandon all fiats/currencies and take Bitcoin as the only payment. When all obstacles were gone, Bitcoin would actually become a combination of both fiat and investment asset. However, as demand and supply were not to fluctuate much, the price of Bitcoin would be really stable and the value of investment would deteriorate.
The two factors/purposes (fiat vs investment asset) will be contradicting each other all the time. If that happened, what's the point of making Bitcoin worldwide acceptable while losing its value and nature of Bitcoin ?  Metaphorically speaking, the hunting dog may be killed when all prey animals are gone.

What is your opinion ? Please let me know. Thanks.

In regards to the underlined parts of your post,  Bitcoin is more suitable for investment or for storing value long-term (Store of Value) than as a Medium of exchange. Both (MoE/Fiat  & SoV/Investment) don't really contradict each other as a lot of people don't  hold Bitcoin for too long. They exchange it for goods/fiats and services while others hold long-term.
If you take away the Store of Value feature, you may nolonger be able to use it to preserve value longterm which is a very important feature of Bitcoin.
You can only keep the price volatility moderate for most of the time and only allow the extreme price movement, mostly upward, once in a while. This will help ensure that it maintains its SoV or deflationary feature rather than being inflationary like fiat currencies.

Converting it into fiat currency will require hijacking it and having it massively altered in such a way that it becomes centralized and loses it important ideals that make it decentralized and safe. It will become inflationary, less transparent, opaque, mutable, non censorship-resistance . But it will be almost impossible to altered by normal people unless they just create contrary systems such as centralized platforms and get much of the world to use fake bitcoins, probably with the aim of manipulating the price or to prevent people from using Bitcoin properly and benefit from its features.

584  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: Lagarde says Euro CBDC seeks to 'ensure high standars of privacy'. on: December 06, 2022, 03:18:34 PM
Well, right to be Private/Anonymous has to be guaranteed to the free/innocent citizens... the Public Policy objectives should be based on them rather than the rights depending on the objectives. Large chunk of the rights could only be taken away from criminals or people who deserve to be in jail.

This is why decentralized cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is better alternative and should be further developed to automatically or via consensus unmask the identity of dangerous criminals on its system. If it's impossible to do so, you can simply blacklist or tag crime money with proper proof-based labelling of the crime it's involved in. This can be easily implemented in the current Bitcoin system and it's one of the best ways to tackle the issue of crime money without violating the privacy rights of the innocent.
585  Other / Off-topic / Re: what things you do for release mental pressure on: December 06, 2022, 09:18:24 AM
Dear allBTC

AS we know, life not everyday same. It sometimes up and downs. Now a days most countries undergoing big inflations, recessions. So Everyone is mentally depressed. Apart from that, when Futures , Spot trading also do the same for us. For me when i am depressed, I do undermentioned things

-Bath
-Listen Songs
-Travel with bicycle
-Watch travel videos
-Listen Spiritual religious things
-Eat at outside(Food also a meditation)

what you do to overcome these temporary depression situations?

Simply feed your body or yourself with good things, such as Good information(audio, videos, etc), Good foods, Good drinks, etc. Spend time alone or with people who do similar/same things you do, while feeding yourselves with good things. Believe and enjoy the good things you feed on

Always remember that Good things are things that can solve your problems and increase your quality of life/existence, without creating more problems for you. Avoid feeding on things that are harmful to you. Feed more on undefiled natural things made directly by our CREATOR. Whatever you feed on must be safe... if it's safe it's good.
The only way to know what is good is to know things that are not against the Commandment of our CREATOR or things that are according to HIS Words. You can find the commandments and HIS Words In Holy Bible. His Word teaches us what to consume and what not to consume. And HIS Commandments is simple: Love the CREATOR and your neighbors. Those who truly love the CREATOR, will not misuse or abuse things HE created for us, including our own bodies.

Feeding/focusing on worldly things can make people depressed, hopeless, defeated, dumb, confused, etc. So feed more on the good and avoid the bad totally, if possible. . If you can't avoid them totally then don't believe them as long as they are not according to the holy Words or Commandments.
The more you feed only on good things, the more your unseen shield becomes stronger. And it will become harder for things from the World to sip into your life or shield.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't a religion. on: December 05, 2022, 10:26:32 AM
I got this very topic phrase"Not A Religion from one of my favourites in the community (Bitcointalk forum).
This very topic rang a bell in my heart because I had to read her response on a topic over and over again and I really do agree with her that Bitcoin isn't a religion
Most people see Bitcoin as a religion and a must to believe in it and and feel left out if they aren't.
One of the reasons people who believe so much in Bitcoin is the possibility of making money with minimal effort.
Do you really see Bitcoin as a religion?

It definitely is not, if you consider this simple meaning of the word Religion:
"True Religion is serving our CREATOR in purity and staying away from the corruption of the world ."

But Bitcoin can be a medium/means to serve the CREATOR just as HE is served from different Nations of the world. Serving HIM from where you live doesn't mean that place is a Religion.

When serving the CREATOR via different media, be careful not to get entangled in the bad knowledge and activities of the media. Do not love money. Loving it will make you do different kinds of evil to have more.
If you do right consistently without minding how much bitcoin you earn, Bitcoin will serve you once you are noticed. When it begins to serve you, it will obey/respond to your commands and work against things that try to hurt you.
587  Other / Off-topic / Re: I've been on chatGPT OpenAI's Newest Assistant on: December 05, 2022, 08:32:43 AM
I was researching an OpenAI machine learning software called Codex yesterday, to see how well it does things. It was quite interesting and I decided to save for another day. I guess that's what this ChatGPT is based on. Wish it is doesn't require phone number to use... and this actually depends on whether the phone number will be kept very safe with some sort of guarantee.

I'm a little impressed by the replies it gives, but I will be quite careful with it considering how it goes about dishing out information that should be private. That kind of information maybe obtained by those who will never abuse/misuse it.

588  Economy / Speculation / Re: December Has always Proved to Be a Good Month For Cryptocurrency industry on: December 02, 2022, 01:39:59 PM
I know I am not pro or old here but I know little bit. I was saying that Bitcoin is just had always proven good start in December month and in first Quarter of New year and If history repeats than this will also be like good start of crypto Rally and I hope in this timeframe btc might go Upto 36k dollars before May crash.
We know that we cannot speculate Bitcoin price But I can say that as history repeats we can get chance and also a better judgement and it can be very risky.
That's Why Do your own research before putting money.

Hope this is not an attempt to divert attention away from the fact that Oct 2022 to the end of this year was chosen to be a period of massive bull run for Bitcoin in contrary to the pessimistic atmosphere in cryptospace and their expected bearish market for thesame period (Oct to Dec 2022) .
In regards to the expectation of a cr*ash in May next year, I think the month would be chosen for the massive rally to somewhere between 50,000, to 60,000. This should prove the historic charts unreliable.

We may consider making this month(Dec) rally an ordinary one not greater than a previous rally we had few months ago. This will mean that the "good start" was some month ago rather than this month (Dec).

Meanwhile, the bull will continue head butting the bear and moving against the bearish tide. We will still have a strong price movement just as it was couple of months ago.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's freedom is Absolute! on: December 01, 2022, 04:44:51 PM
Of course, you are free to do whatever you want with your bitcoin, as long as you not creating problems for others and probably for your self with the freedom.  By the way, Satoshi created Bitcoin for people who want to escape the fiat currency and banking systems ruin/corrupted by people who misused their freedom . He didn't create Bitcoin to be misused or abused too... He likely anticipated such abusers/misusers and made sure they do not somehow hijack Bitcoin system and corrupt it for others like fiat currency systems are being corrupted. You can rightly say he created bitcoin to be fool-proof system based on pretty solid principles like privacy/anonymity, transparency, immutability, decentralization, fair-rules, etc.
There will definitely be punishment for those use their freedom in Bitcoin space to harm others . They could be jailed, be fined, sent to mental hospital, even be enslaved, etc. Beside, Bitcoin is more suitable for the Free not slaves, because it's a expected they will be responsible enough to use Bitcoin right without misusing or abusing it and creating problems for society.

More on the Bitcoin and freedom, I believe it's better to restrict this freedom to individuals rather than companies or businesses who could use it to encourage Bitcoin users to be irresponsible and reckless due to greed or foolishness by encouraging more them to use Bitcoin wrongly thereby creating massive problems for the Bitcoin/crypto space.  This is why it's important to emphasize more on decentralized and non-custodial companies/businesses, to prevent fools that could use their "freedom" and ruin it all for thousands/millions of people who probably don't know what they are doing
590  Other / Off-topic / Re: Increase in cost of running the family on: December 01, 2022, 10:26:54 AM
I see that this is reality that the cost of running the family house hold daily, weekly, monthly and yearly has increased. From different people that have complained and including friends, it is getting so much of frustration to taking good care of the family to live fine because inflation and no job. To buy basic need in the house not easy. A friend that have add a new born to his home complaining of buying diaper, provisions for the new child as expensive in addition to the expenses to take care of the other children. The situation of bringing up the family is not easy and I think one way to helping ourselves not to add more financial burden is by reducing the number of children we give birth to. This can help.

This friend of mine now complain so much because of the new child adding to his family. If we reduce the child bearing to the amount we can take care , it will reduce the heat we are feeling from the bad economy experience.

The issue is not really having large family. The issue is having children or family members that are not fruitful or sufficiently beneficial to the family.
If humans are happy to have their domestic animals multiply or increase in number why not be happy with increasing family size? Typically, animals may be sold for profit, produce milks/eggs that could be used/sold, or use for food thereby bringing in more income or saving more money that would have gone into buying milk/egg/meat for the family's protein needs. In this case the animals is profitable, fruitful or beneficial to the family... depending on how much they consume. Human members of family should be groomed and nurtured to be profitable to the family in similar manner. If you want to know those that are actually profitable to your family, note how much they cost you to maintain(like feeding, education, clothing etc) and how much they contribute to the family. Simple formula for this is, how much a family member contributes/produces minus (—) how much the family member consumes = profitability. Production greater than (>) Consumption = Profit. Consumption > than production = loss . The contributions can either be financial or direct problem solving(without creating more problems). The consumption can either be be financial or direct usage of things produced by our CREATOR or others

Try and run your family like a country. Train your children to be more productive and useful for the family. Identify the talents or roles each member is better at serving. Put them where they belong and use that to run the family profitably. The family could eventually multiply to become a village, from village to town then to a country. If your family isn't well trained they will definitely not be sustainable to run.
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Is a ban on Retirees Cypto Account a fair deal? on: November 30, 2022, 01:24:22 PM
What else should they entrust their retirement funds to, inflation ridden fiat currencies, or assets they absolutely have no idea what direction they will move to in the future?
Bitcoin remains a better alternative for long-term investment. If you want an investment that is fairly inflation-proof for your retirement fund then buy and hold Bitcoin for a minimum of 3 year. It's better than most fiat currencies people rely on for retirements.

In regards to heartattacks in relation to investments risk, I would advice investors to only invest what they can afford to risk so they wouldn't be too attached to their Bitcoin investment, or the price of Bitcoin. Price fluctuations are normal in fiats too but people aren't too bothered, probably because they have no idea what it's all about or aren't paying attention...but  they feel the effects in the price of goods and services.    So, it's not just Bitcoin... The short-term investors probably should stop bothering the long-term ones. They should consider their hearts
592  Economy / Economics / Re: Effect of Fake Bitcoins demand for the real One on: November 29, 2022, 02:01:41 PM
If you follow what is happening in cryptocurrency market, you will notice that many platforms are now buying bitcoins from users and selling them altcoins or FAKE bitcoins that have no value, they lending this money, squandering it in advertising campaigns or for personal purposes, but what is the effect of such dispositions?

I began to believe that the recent extinction of Bitcoin ATH was due to these Fake coins that were printing non-existent coins and selling them, so I hope that this topic covers all of these points or one of them:

  • People's laziness in withdrawing their money from platforms makes real Bitcoin less valuable?
  • What would happen if everyone decided to withdraw their coins? And how will it affect real bitcoins.
  • If these actions continue, can these platforms influence the price of bitcoin and reduce it by arbitrage or shorting between them?

They are actually part of a sophisticated attack on Bitcoin (but this has been taken care of). I call it an attack because it's an attempt to manipulate the price of Bitcoin with control/centralized platforms especially via price suppression/control... it's more like how they control the price of gold. But they are not clever enough as that will be in violation of Bitcoin deflationary/anti-inflation principle. Anyone who is principled enough can always use that to punish the violators. They are violating a just rule and you can always punish any violator of just rules if you are qualified.

There is also the possibility of nations/people buying loads of bitcoins that can only be used or exchanged within specific platforms. And the bitcoins could be sold way below their real market price. They could do this mainly to prevent people from buying bitcoins at their real market price to increase demand/price. I wouldn't be surprised if they tag the real market price "Black market" price, whereas the actual black market price is the suppressed price.

593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is permissable in Islam. on: November 28, 2022, 10:05:01 AM
It's interesting to note that Bitcoin ideals actually do not violate any moral codes hence should be permitted by the national laws, as laws are not suppose to prevent people from using or doing what is right or good for them as long as the right/good things are not abused. .
List of Bitcoin Ideals: Decentralization, Transparency, Immutability, Privacy/anonymity, , Public Consensus, Proof of Work(don't trust but verify work done before rewarding the worker in trustless condition),  fair-rules, Trustlessness/Permissionless (just like in nature, Bitcoin require little to no Trust/Permission from people before it can be used), Deflation rather than debasing people's currency value via inflation, etc.

Unfortunately, altcoins like ethereum which has adopted a very corrupt consensus mechanism like proof of stake has become immoral hence should not be legalized or permitted. Anyone who does it is on its own.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: UAE further collaboration with India for Local Currency Trade on: November 28, 2022, 08:59:42 AM

source

Certainly there's going to be a great economic impact as the Bank of India (BOI) partner deals to collaborate with United Arab Emirates (UAE) in creating an friendly synergy that could bring them both on achieving a common economical trade between the regions using their local currencies altogether in achieving a common goal, just as it could be recalled that recently, the two parties have been engaging on a mutual trade base on the MoU signed together sometimes earlier n the beginning of this year https://twitter.com/GoldTelegraph_/status/1597060306470985730?t=sJuiWnNHIyzeFe9tVsQAJw&s=19 this free economic trade has ever been the cause to thier cordial relationship that further births to what we are seing today as they both have also agreed in trading together using their own local currencies, it is also notably that India and UAE are part of the fastest growing economics in the world including their involvements in the digital era of cryptocurrency and bitcoin, which will further create an expansion opportunity for the growth of their economy both, could other countries learn something from this, and is the collaboration a lifetime advantage to both countries.

Ofcourse, it's partly due to increasing price of dollar and its volatility. I read Ghana is trying similar thing but with gold. I wish the country takes my advice and do the local currency trading.
It's nice to see India so obedient to order even though it isn't really a Christian nation. It's quite hard dealing with people you think will understand. I hope the country is greatly favored.
595  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree that an employer should hire employees who are smarter than him? on: November 28, 2022, 08:27:47 AM
I was listening to a YouTube video by a famous business man and he was saying that he prefers to hire employees who are smarter than him. Do you agree with this style of working? What are the possible intentions behind doing this? Isn't their fear that these smart employees can steal ideas from office or get client details and then start their own companies? What is your view regarding this?

Assuming the employer = company's head,
I think he may be lucky if the employees are trustworthy people otherwise they could outsmart him, cheat and take advantage of the company.
Companies heads need to be ahead of their employees to be able to guide and use them to run the companies properly. The problem is that a lot of people don't really deserve to be companies heads so they look for people who are ahead of them to manage, which should not be so as such employees will become the actual heads and control/use the employer. The head needs to understand the business well and be fully in charge of his company.
596  Other / Off-topic / Re: Project NDALA: The CONGOLESE coup d'etat. on: November 26, 2022, 03:00:00 PM
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (Known as Zaire between the early 70's up until the late 90's) is a central african state that is known for its political instability, corrupt government officials and inability to protect its territory.

Its territory is worthy of being called the biblical garden of Eden though. With its lush forests, amazing wildlife, great agricultural potential and immense mineral resources, it has the potential to be a new age african eldorado and economic hub. Despite its great potential, its inhabitants are one of the poorest in the world. Congo also has one of the largest diaspora in the world and this is due to the instabilty that is found in the country.

Poor leadership from the Congolese ruling class as well as policies from multinational backed States mean that mineral plundering done under the guise of miniature rebellions have become a part of the country's daily bread.

Project NDALA is a project that aims to overthrow the current corrupt and visionless Congolese kakistocracy and to restore the dignity of the central africans inhabiting this territory. In the honour of Mamadou Ndala, a Congolese militant that fought against the injustices and mediocrity faced by the Congolese, we would like to get into power and build the Congo that Mamadou envisioned.

If you know somebody that knows somebody that knows someone who can help us realize this project in any way, kindly inbox. If you are that somebody, kindly inbox as well Wink. Its for a good cause. In the event that the project succeeds, tokens of appreciatoions will certainly and rightfully be arranged.

The bolded parts make me think the interest is more on the resources than the people, and you don't need to arrange anything for your helpers if this is a good and selfless cause. They will be happy to offer free assistance unless they think you are mostly doing it for your own benefits.
Well, wish we have people who don't know or care about the wonderful natural resources of the countries they seek to help but are very focused on making the people healthier, happier, better, independent, etc.

597  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk want to buy bitcointalk on: November 25, 2022, 10:01:24 AM
No such thing as unlimited money in this world. His riches is as valuable as how much contribution he has made in the lives of billions of people around world (I'm only for very useful and faultless contributions) otherwise its deceitful riches.

In regards to buying this forum, It's Not For Sale. It's more like a National asset which represents the Bitcoin Cyber Nation, an opensource community. Imagine USA government selling www.state.gov or something like that to Trump or Billgate. Or even your national government selling national sites to the rich ones in your country. The forum is as important as government sites because Bitcoin founders who are more like National founding "fathers" will be very displeased to see something they built for the good of Bitcoin getting sold to someone who likely does not share in the Bitcoin values/ideals and will likely be heavily abused by him with privacy invasive, mind control, parasitic technology for example.

By the way, the Bitcoin system which the bitcointalk forum represents is a shared Public Network owned together by its Citizens who believe in its good values, help in preserving them and making Bitcoin better. The forum also belongs to them and they represent Satoshi who consent will be needed in order to determine whether its right to sell Bitcoin asset to "private individual". Only a dumb person/people will sell or buy the forum
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: November 24, 2022, 12:54:50 PM
Bitcoin actually reached $69,000 last year. I remember it miraculously reached that price when it was claimed that our chance of getting paid for doing some work depends on price reaching $69,000—70,000. The price eventually got to the level soon and people were happy even though the price increase was attributed to someone else instead of the ONE who made it possible.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Government use the Blockchain as a tool for control? on: November 24, 2022, 11:35:34 AM
10 years ago, blockchain was just the technology behind Bitcoin, a currency used by the Drug lords in illegal markets on the Dark Web.
Today, the blockchain is seen as one of the technological wonders of our time. The way blockchain technology has been seen by society has been growing along the years. From the slums of the dark web to the hypothetical implementation of CBDCs, blockchain technology has been highly regarded as a technology that can be used by the government to help them with financial policies and a lot more.

In a few years, we will probably see the entry of CBDCs as state digital currencies supported by the blockchain technology, but this will not be something good. Rather than that, they will use it as a tool for control and monetary policy, so I do not think that what they want to do with it will benefit society. Much to the contrary, they already know what the potential of this technology actually is, and they will use it for something nefarious.

How do you see governments making use of the blockchain technology in a few years?

First of all, Bitcoin, like any National currency can be used immorally by people... that doesn't make the cryotocurrency bad. It's people abusing/misusing it, like they would abuse/misuse any good thing for evil. And it's important to note that Bitcoin underlining technology makes exposing bad users easy compared to fiats/national currencies which are quite opaque and are heavily used by drug lords and for other immoral purposes. You could call them dark currencies without being wrong due to their lack of Transparency which is part of the fundamental feature of True Blockchain.

In regards to whether governments will use Blockchain as tool for control... that really depends on whether they weaken or completely discard the features that makes Blockchain harder to use a tool for control. By the way, it can nolonger be a True Blockchain if the features are weaken or discarded... it will become a false Blockchain. So, you will have to make sure bad people in governments do not tamper with Blockchains Features/Ideals/Standards like its Transparency, Decentralization, Fair rule-based protocol, Participatory governance/consensus, Censorship-resistance, Immutability, Permissionlessness/Trustlessness, , Immutability, Pow, etc.

Bitcoin or The Bitcoin System is analogous to a decentralized and interconnected Android Operating system, while alternative Blockchains are like modified Android operating system. All of them most likely won't be in existence if Bitcoin wasn't invented. They owe Bitcoin a lot of respect and should be built to be better/safer Blockchains rather than lowering their standards.

b]BTC may increase by the end of winter[/b].  He also asked everyone to be patient.  It means that the future of BTCL is very bright and its price will increase.  We are all waiting for this winter to end and the market to return to its previous form.  InshaAllah the price of BTC and digital currency will return to the previous room thanks

... may increase to how much exactly, and when precisely? The price already increased in the last 24hrs and will continue to increase. That kind of make his prediction unreliable and weak.
Bitcoin always rises and falls as long as it's alive... when will this happen precisely, he clearly doesnt know. That kind of prediction is reserved for those who are very consistent, precised, powerful and way richer.

What a childish way of "predicting" things anyway.
