61  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: March 22, 2021, 02:58:45 PM
do not spend/invest with money that you can't afford to lose.
also, you know that bitcoin is against those banks.
you take a loan from a bank for bitcoin.
you are feeding those banks which will make it grow at. the same time, you want bitcoin to go up as well Grin

instead of taking loans from financial institutions, try to read or watch videos about flash loan.

62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade + study = great combination on: March 22, 2021, 01:45:43 PM
the first time I tried copy trading was about a few months ago.
I thought copy trading is an easy thing because the platform also presents the trader's stats (win rate, etc.)
however, I realized that those traders open many positions to get profits.
so, when you have $50 for copy trading, you can only copy 5 positions if the minimum amount of each copy trade is $10.
those traders can open a bunch of positions. they would do cut-loss some of their position too.
when you have bad luck, you could end up copying their positions that need to be closed due to cut-loss.

in a nutshell,

you only afford to have 5 positions. meanwhile, the trader has many.

trader:
1. profit 10%
2. loss 5%
3. win 20%
4. loss 5%
5. loss 50%
6. profit 70%

at this point, the traders can get profit because he successfully recovers their loss on that 6th position.
but, you can only copy him until the 5th position due to your capital is limited for 5 positions only.

63  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: March 22, 2021, 12:37:53 PM
What are the things differ from mindset of common man with investor, please share your thoughts.

IMO,investors never want to take loans for their consumption like home loan, car loan, etc then just save money and will buy the things for their needs but common man like you and me will buy the things immediately when we get the desire of it using loans but we are paying 20% of interest to those kind of loans.

I have a different perspective.
investors would take loans too if they see it more profitable.
for example, take a loan for an apartment at its initial price offering and rent it out to pay their loan.
that's why it's difficult to compete to get a property at its initial price. also, it's a sustainable investment.

investors will make their money works, not saving it and decrease in value.
investors are productive, meanwhile, the others are consumptive.

De Gea wouldn't have conceded that goal no matter what. I agree that Henderson is a good goal keeper as I stated earlier but he has to work hard. He has got big shoes to fill. De Gea was a legend for the red devils and his legacy will live on. Now is Henderson chance to make his mark.
-snip-

De Gea is a great goalkeeper. But as a goalkeeper, you need to lead your defenders. maybe De Gea has a problem communicating with the guys in front of him.
take a look at Sergio Romero's clean sheets stats at united in the past.

^I'm pleased to see the Red Devils crash out, but I'm pretty disappointed that the fans are calling for his head now. You guys are challenging for Europa honours and are the favourites after kicking out AC Milan. You did rest some players but still had a strong enough team and hey, you lost to a good side today. You're favs for 2nd place and mathematically could pip City... why kick OGS out now? Who do you think is good enough to replace him?

Anyway, very good outing for me tonight in EPL and all around. VERY pleased.

OGS already did it well. United can focus on UEL now. United under OG is still premature for multi-competition.
OGS still building the team. 2 days of rest is not good for players' fitness. however, it shouldn't be an excuse for a team like United.
OGS needs to equalize his first team and the backup team. the gap is too far by performance.

66  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take banks to phase out physical cash completely? on: March 21, 2021, 05:39:24 PM
there's news regarding my country that will develop CBDC recently. however, the current hype is not about CBDC, but it's about a local decacorn startup (Gojek) partnering with a local unicorn startup (Tokopedia) that has a plan to build its own digital bank. they already have many users since their apps are for our daily needs, like food, transportation, all in one. their users mostly smartphone users. they aim to be the local Ant Group (a big company from China) for my country. seems like my country will have its own "Alipay" soon.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did people buy bitcoin and other cryptos back in the old days? on: March 21, 2021, 04:53:17 PM
the first time I bought bitcoin, it was from a random local website. P2P transaction with the website owner  Grin.
a few years before that, I knew that people buying/selling bitcoin on a local forum where I hang around every day there.
some people I know also create their own website to buy and sell bitcoin P2P with Paypal back then.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC seems to be fading out and loosing popularity. on: March 21, 2021, 04:18:13 PM
yes, I agree with you, the transaction fees really become a big barrier for newcomers to join. mostly to people who don't have much money to invest.

however, let's take a look at this worldwide google trends data* for some specific keywords; cryptocurrency, bitcoin, ethereum, stocks. people's interest in bitcoin currently up and down, depending on the price. of course, it doesn't reflect the actual bitcoin or crypto users' growth.

69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rich people causes cryptocurrency ban on: March 21, 2021, 03:50:02 PM
If I may ask what is the major reason while some countries ruling class ban bitcoin transaction?
they can't track it properly, so they can't put taxes on it.

What is the negative effects using crypto as currency?
no rollback, once it leaving your wallet, it's gone, unless you have an agreement with the recipient.
volatility is not a problem anymore because we have stablecoin now.

what harm does bitcoin contributes a country that can lead to ban?
money laundering activity, massive illegal activity that involves bitcoin, etc.
(bitcoin mining power consumption issue soon).

Leicester's last match - 7 days ago.
Manchester United last match - 2 days ago  Grin

Leicester City 3.02

Manchester United 2.42

Let me guess: offers can be sent by PM yesterday?

Stephen Hawking tried that in 2009 (when Bitcoin was created - coincidence?). See mashable.com:
Quote
"I have experimental evidence that time travel is not possible," Hawking told reporters at the Seattle Science Festival in 2012. "I gave a party for time-travelers, but I didn't send out the invitations until after the party. I sat there a long time, but no one came."

I was about to summon you earlier, but come back here and you are already here  Grin

this is literally me a few minutes ago.

we need @Foxpup to join this thread.

I take this thread seriously and wondering the price for this kind of service (in the past or in the future).
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: March 20, 2021, 07:15:40 PM
trading or investing? it really depends on the coin you want to invest (hold) and trade. also, it will depend on the period of your investment and trading activity. but let say you are talking about bitcoin.

someone that buys the coin and then does buy-low-sell-high properly to accumulate more coin will be the winner in this situation. as long as you can guarantee that you can always accumulate your holding by trading, then trading might be a good choice. but if you can't guarantee it, then why waste your time and energy on trading? doing nothing is more profitable right now.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone bettor or a competitive one? on: March 20, 2021, 06:36:17 PM
I've never joined any prediction competition until I joined it for the first time on betnomi competition. I remember when betnomi has a bet competition on this forum where the prize is really huge, 1 BTC. nothing to lose for me because there's no requirement, just place your bets and wait until all matches finish. it was a free bet.

well, my analysis skill was at the same level as when I am doing a fun bet. there's no improvement in my luck or analysis skill even when I joined a competition with a huge prize. I just picked it blindly, just like a lottery. lol  Grin

however, it was more fun, sometimes you hope your opponent losing their bets too  Grin

but, I usually saw mu_enrico's threads about slots games on this forum.

75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 20, 2021, 05:38:21 PM
Roobet just started to accept litecoin a few times ago, since their main currency BTC and ETH takes expensive transaction fees.
meanwhile, Betnomi has more cryptocurrency options. also, I saw their native token BNI as one of the options now.

IMO, stablecoin is a must. despite the negative narratives about stablecoin, people still use it. it's become the main pair on every exchange.
I believe every trader or cryptocurrency holder has stablecoin too. with stablecoin, the coverage of those casinos can be wider. because people can easily send it from the exchange.
of course, those casinos need to support TRC20 and BEP20 too.

I bet for fun, fees make it not fun. when there's no fun, why gamble then?

seems like Justin Sun really wants it lol.

lmao. it seems he really wants to get involved on anything related to crypto that have potential of marking his name in the history book of crypto LOL. atleast if justin sun happens to really want it and bought it at higher price all the money goes to charity and not to waste.

it's actually good for Tron marketing and its brand awareness. at least the spotlight will be on the bidder who bid that tweet expensively.
people will search for more information, why these people are rich as f*ck so they can afford to buy/bid that tweet  Grin
personally, I will be happy to be on that list to bid with +$1 from that @sinaEstavi last bid, because I believe he doesn't want to lose from my +$1 bid. lol

Jack can use the money for his crypto companies.

78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power consumption propaganda? on: March 19, 2021, 05:34:36 PM
Would be interested to hear what the point of view is on a recent increase in press statements as follows: ‘Bitcoin may soon consume more power than Australia’— almost 10 times more than Google, Microsoft and Facebook combined.
Is there anything behind this or is it just another angle of attack against bitcoin prompted by remarks by Bill Gates?.....is it even possible to calculate consumption in this way?

Then it will push renewable energy adoption if those statements is true.
Also, how about social media and youtube. You can now check your screen time, battery consumption to run those apps. Multiply it to the average number of daily active users   Grin

Phase 1, declare it as a problem.
Phase 2, offers a solution.

Familiar with this? Covid  Grin

Elon Musk name once again used to fool people by hackers!
No, it will be used again and again, infinity and beyond Grin
even google adsense on youtube can promote a scam like this nowadays.

In the first place, I thought this kind of scam is not working anymore. but I was wrong.
it still works, but why that those who own that big amount of BTC can be scammed in this cheap way.

domain provider should limit some of the domain name usages. it should be double-checked first before it's online.
in this case, can I sue the domain name provider?

-snip-

1. Granada CF - Manchester United
2. Arsenal FC - SK Slavia Praha
3. AFC Ajax - AS Roma
4. GNK Dinamo - Villareal CF

The winner of the quarter-final 1 will face the winner of the quarter final 3 and the winner of the quarter final 4 will play against the winner of the quarter final 2.

well, a big match for ajax and roma.
I hope united can win at least 1 title this year, and hopefully in this competition.
so, if they win against granada, their next opponent will be ajax/roma.
united has good stats against ajax/roma.
I wish they can reach the final stage, and all-england in the final against Arsenal.
