621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Blockchain Supply Chain, how does it work? on: July 08, 2019, 10:27:57 PM
Are there actual projects that work, that can control the supply chain line through blockchain?

I want to implement this into a company but I am not 100% of a project that would actually work this sort of business.

Lets say for example I own a business where an employee might take a piece of equipment from a warehouse. How can blockchain technology be used to verify that the user actually took the item, and can this system track where the item is going?

How could someone take a piece of equipment out of storage, and have that system GPS track it via the blockchain.

I need a system that would verify the user, so that way if an item is stolen I will know who actually took the item out. I was thinking I could have a lockbox with the key to the piece of equipment and a unique RFID code for the employee to open the box, that way I know who has the key.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin related cartoon on: July 01, 2019, 12:17:22 AM
This is worth watching. Instead of watching cartoons without education, let us try to cater also cartoons with knowledge to be gained. This is just a simple presentation of bitcoin related cartoons. That is really useful for future generations. I hope that you can share also some of the stuffs to your vlog which talks about cryptocurrency. The OP is vlogger and he really utilized his talent to earn money and share facts.

Thanks man I appreciate the kind comment Smiley I am always looking to make my content better. I also have a lot of content that news sites publish themselves. So I am constantly working at making engaging content.

If you are planning to make a bet on an MLB game you can now purchase player insurance. If player insurance is purchased and the player gets injured and the game is lost, then the insurance policy will kick in.

For example: If a player is betting on the NY Yankees, you might want to buy a policy on Aaron Judge. So you will purchase a $100 policy for $1. Now if Aaron Judge gets injured and the NYY lose the game, you will lose their $100 bet from the gambling bet. However since you purchased a $100 policy, you will receive a $100 back.

The policies costs will be based on liquidity. Popular players on both teams will be listed. Private inquiries can occur for certain players if PM'd. Policies are paid out within 24 hours of the end of the contest. The policies will be paid out with the currency that was used to purchase it.

Disclaimer: An injury is counted when the player is noted as being injured per the press release and taken out of the game. Players who get hurt but play out the game and then later diagnosed as injured will not be supported. Players must leave the game because of an injury and not return to it. Players who are benched due to performance will not be paid out. The player's team must lose the game in order to be paid out. (A tie constitutes a push) If the player doesn't show up to a game or does not play in the game will not be supported. (An injury needs to come from the game. )

627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitmain Bitcoin mining equipment is expensive on: June 29, 2019, 05:24:42 PM
I also think is expensive but people can try to buy it if they make calculation before to see if they can make a profit every month after they pay electricity, because maybe can take a lot of time to get ROI and also difficulty of mining grow.

This is true, some other solutions are coming to light now though so it will be interesting to see where Bitmain is in 5 years.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: June 23, 2019, 03:14:43 PM
I still do on a high level though. Back in the old days, it was cool to convert people on a personal level. Now there are so many people in crypto that individuals don't really make a huge difference. It is better to try and engage a large group of people.

Where do you get information about Bitcoin? Do you watch Youtube video's or just read the daily news?

Wow, what you do is very innovative. I used to get information about bitcoin from various sources, namely online news, videos on youtube, or ads on social media that appeared suddenly. Cartoon videos related to bitcoin certainly have a positive influence on bitcoin. Bitcoin will be increasingly recognized by the public and public trust in bitcoin will increase. Through cartoons, bitcoin will be easier to accept and understand. This makes the benefits of bitcoin spread more widely.

Thanks, man Smiley I am glad that you enjoyed it. If you subscribe you will get a notification of other videos. I also have a lot of helpful videos that aren't cartoons on the channel.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between the Facebook platform "LIBRA" and Bitcoin on: June 23, 2019, 12:53:18 PM
There is no way it will be like Bitcoin. Bitcoin cannot be seized, Libra will be monitored and your funds can almost certainly be seized.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but what your saying is you want someone to take there own.011 BTC and transact it with you to test your extension. However, they are not getting paid the $200 until June 20th? You could just take the .011btc and run.

How do I compare data that has different totals and create a benchmark? For example, look at the below problem.

2019 data

Problem X: Preventable times it occurs: | Non Preventable times it occurs |  % of Preventable times
                                10                                        5                                   66.67%

Problem Y: Preventable times it occurs: | Non Preventable times it occurs |  % of Preventable times
                                15                                        7                                   68.18%

Problem z: Preventable times it occurs: | Non Preventable times it occurs |  % of Preventable times
                                2                                          9                                  18.18%

2018 data:

Problem X: Preventable times it occurs: | Non Preventable times it occurs |  % of Preventable times
                                20                                        7                                   74.07%

Problem Y: Preventable times it occurs: | Non Preventable times it occurs |  % of Preventable times
                                49                                        150                                  24.62%

Problem z: Preventable times it occurs: | Non Preventable times it occurs |  % of Preventable times
                                18                                         49                                  26.87%

With this example, how could you create a benchmark with the different problem sets? Like for example, Problem X in 2019 was less preventable than in 2018. However, in 2019 there were more instances of problems so the data isn't 1:1 comparable. So what algorithm would I need to use in order to compare the data and create an appropriate benchmark that would accurately depict the different categories? Any help would be appreciated.

639  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sports Betting Insurance Algorithm 1BTC starting bid on: May 26, 2019, 06:09:07 PM
How can prior stats predict injury?

It looks at there previous injuries and bases it per position. (Some injuries are more likely to come back, some positions have a higher risk.)
Some people are also more injury prone. It also takes into account minutes played on average, and age of the player. Lots of statistics are used to figure out the rate at which a player would be injured.
