621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] CoinPoker: Poker future is today! on: April 05, 2018, 07:21:09 PM
so far the only losers are the people who trusted coinpoker and participated in the ICO , it seems that coinpoker cares more about freerollers and shills than the original investors
can't see this site going anywhere big in the future , still the same freerolls and the same added tournies with no rake being generated at all and freerollers dumping what they make on the exchanges

Do you even play poker ? Who cares about freerollers that dump 5% of total supplies ? Let's see when all dumpers will be gone.
Only losers are people who bought BTC in late december, noobs who "boguth the dip" those month following shitty "this is not a financial advice" crap from twitter .
I accumilating CHP, and playing as I would play on a fiat room . No lose here . You think your rank on a dying unmoderated forum makes you trustable ?  X doubt .

lol keep shilling that site , they didn't take bitcoins or fiat they took ethereum and now it's less than half what it was
no development at all in the last month except adding the skinz , so you can keep talking BS as much as you want but you can't hide the truth
chp will never success and you can mark my words , it doesn't make sense to buy a coin to play poker with when you can directly play with your btc or eth in other sites

only loosers are the investors who dumped their ETH in that scam project , and since you consider the forums here dying then stop browsing it and wasting your time

Other "sites" you talk about are scams, noone known in their team, no transparent rng ... If you would even have make some research you would have seen that room is still in beta with final software coming soon, also mobile app this month. Known poker players part of the team (Isabelle Mercier and Tony G) and it makes perfect sense to take ETH during ICO for an ERC 20 token .
But like other haters, you can just spit on it without even look at the withepaper because "you know better than everyone" . Go play on your obscur bitcoins room and don't come pollute our community with your hate speach of loser .

Sorry but if you have done your research you will see that most attempts at a crypto related poker room have failed or are continuing to fail. Betcoin, SWC, SatoshiBet, betbit365 to name a few.

Go look at breakout gaming, they were endorsed by johhny chan, huck seed and many others, those guys were wsop champs dude.....why would you get all worked up over Tony G and Jason Mercier's sister? What kind of pull do they actually have in poker world?

And even Breakout has reallly struggled to get things going and they have been going at it for 1.5 years, check the thread yourself https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1509819.4440.

At the moment this room is following the same path as rooms that failed before, just consistent freerolls (with bots  Roll Eyes) and no real volume. Not every industry needs a blockchain solution and i hate to say it but a decentralized poker room is one of them. If your only real selling point is that its transparent and provably fair by the blockchain then you will never really attract anyone, the only players who think that the sites are rigged are fish anyways.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: margin - Bitcoin Trading Bot: Binance, Bittrex, HitBTC, Poloniex, Bitfinex... on: April 05, 2018, 07:00:05 PM
Anyone interested in setting up a better alternative that actually keeps it's promise of a lifetime license? We should be able to find enough capable users in this community. Just leave a reply and send me a DM.

sure im interested in your alternative. As a newbie i cannot PM you.

If you were an early supporter of leonardo than I dont know how you can be upset with what they are doing.

If you bought before than you get month free and big discount on future subscriptions. They had to switch to a subscription model it makes sense, every other bot besides gunbot is subscription based. Gunbot is reaallly expensive though and wouldn't surprise me if they move to subscriptions in the future.

Margin is so much nicer than leonardo, very impressed and pleased as an early supporter
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: April 05, 2018, 06:54:57 PM
The number of commits on GitHub made by developers working on the project defines everything without need of looking at other aspects. It looks market's bad conditions are being used bu consuming all energies on development and spreading word away. Just a single developer pushed 200 commits this is huge huge to understand what's next.

Yes it's one of the top most developed projects in crypto and is one of the few that have a working piece of software that provides a service to it's users, although it's not the most impressive streaming service out there it is by far the best in the crypto currency industry and is the first to integrate a native coin.

Over time I think that work shows and hype dies...hopefully this will come to fruition one day for lbry.....boggles my mind that this coin isn't even in the top 200 in market cap!!!!

624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: April 05, 2018, 06:50:23 PM
Looks like a good longterm hold for me, and I am really excited about the possibilities of ecommerce cryptoprocessing.
Can US citizen participate?

That's really interesting because ecommerce cryptoprocessing has literally nothing to do with LBRY, and as a US citizen yes you can participate because there is no ICO....oh wait im literally commenting back to a bot.

Nice abuse of safekeets signature campaign, amazing the extent some will go to exploit bounty programs  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next x10 coins for 2018 on: April 04, 2018, 05:04:08 PM
Ethereum is a easy x10 from here guys! Cheesy It will be a good year for Ethereum and I guess that it will start growing alone without Bitcoin in 2018!! Maybe it wil take some months but I am very sure the we will see this!

Everyone keeps saying things like this and being super bullish on ETH, I get it that maybe its hit a bottom and there is alot more upside potential then downside.

But we have in the works ICX, EOS, Rchain, DRGN chain, QTUM, VeChain, ADA and then also established projects like Neo, Waves and ETC....

It won't be like 2017 where people's only real option to build a blockchain related smart contract project was Ethereum, in 2018 companies will have WAY more options and versatility.

There are even companies now starting to build cross chain compatible projects ontop of XLM and XRP.

Sure ETH will do well but im not so sure it will have so much demand in the future, the uncertainty with scaling and switching to POS could also be a deterrent.

Last point is that I think up and coming platform token economy coins have way more upside than ETH.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: April 04, 2018, 04:28:25 PM

Explain   such a question. What do you plan to do with unsold tokens after the ICO?

all this accounts are bots farming activity
and i dont know why because since merit system they cant get higher membership rank just with postings
and do they really expect someone reward this bullshit postings with merit?

maybe its all about get their signatur spamed into threads
but this guy dont even have a signatur

maybe its a bot system that was started before merit system
creating new accounts and farming activity

and the bot owner just didnt turn of the scripts

i call such stuff bot zombies
started scripts running and running and running even if their initial usecase is long gone

we need bot zombie hunters in the internet

It has become pretty bad on bitcointalk, some threads are just page after page of meaningless post that have literally nothing to do with the topic at hand, it gets pretty annoying if you're actually trying to get a question answered and anytime the thread comes up as "unread" it ends up being some meaningless post. I don't understand how the operators of the signature campaigns let it go unnoticed?! LOL all that 2017 ICO money going to waste there...

You mention that the merit system was put in place to try and stop this. But how does the merit system really work? Does your rank have to have a certain amount of merit to reach higher levels?
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAG] X11 POS/POW+Masternodes MAGNET / magnetwork.io on: April 04, 2018, 03:30:44 PM
Cryptopia took about 4 months to list the coin, not bad I guess, wonder if most of the volume will stay over at coinexchange though?

Thank goodness for cryptobridge and very small exchanges like coinexchange though right?
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: April 04, 2018, 03:00:56 PM
how much do you think this coin should cost? what is its real price? and what future awaits him and the market as a whole? it would be interesting to read opinions

The price in USD is heavily dependent on the price of bitcoin and is somewhat irrelevant until ETC gets many more ETC/USD pairs, right now if you want to buy ETC in most cases you have to buy BTC first. ETC was around $45 when BTC was at an all time high.

What matters is price in bitcoin, and if you look at the chart its consolidated and gone sideways since the big pump back in the summer of 2017 (just like alot of other altcoins), so its fair to assume that ETC will follow suit of an altcoin pump in the future.

Like many others have said....it could potentially be a good buy at this price in btc. good luck, not financial advice. dyor
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: April 03, 2018, 09:56:12 PM
weifa, will geocoin have ability in future to feel the height of dropping? I mean, for instance, in a trading mall on the 5 floor. is it possible? or only GPS coordinates without geodesic lift?
Currently the dropped geocoins are spatially located with x,y coordinates.  We do offer the ability to toggle 3D buildings on/off but I believe your GPS position would still show you at the base of the mall in your example.  However, over time we could try and include a spatial z value for a more 3D style.

Do you guys have a discord channel or a slack?
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Binary-Chain - VeriCoin and Verium - The First Dual-Blockchain Protocol on: April 03, 2018, 07:53:00 PM
A team member really should post updates here from time to time. Really not much usefull coming in this thread, and bitcointalk is the main source for information for alot of us Smiley

True, if slack can redirect converations over bitcointalk posts we should be already near to 7-800 pages for this topic  Grin

Really need a discord channel, most communities have moved there since late last year, I quit slack after the phishing emails got out of control.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOBYTE [GBX] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance, & Decentralized on: April 03, 2018, 07:44:14 PM
Is it possible to run the master on windows 10 at home? Masternode)
You can use a VPS to host your MN, and you can use your personal PC as a remote via the GoByte core wallet.

VPS costs money. I wonder too why it was not possible to host node at local PC, may be some linux even

The VPS you need will cost like $5/month, you will make that in a day with a GBX masternode, most vps services accept bitcoin
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: April 03, 2018, 07:38:14 PM
there seems to be suppression of a certain 'other' smart contract scheme going around that has to do with...not fingers butttt ??

ya they deleting any comments or post about it, wonder why?

Because it's offtopic here. This is for discussion of the BitConnect Ponzi not other Ponzis.

Ah i see, more integrity for ponzi threads than there are for actual legit project threads  Cheesy
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: April 03, 2018, 04:51:57 PM
but can you explain to me what is the purpose of the project? what is the finished product and what is it for? I apologize, but I just saw this project and it became very interesting to me
The GeoCoin project was designed to bring GIS & GeoTechnologies to the blockchain.  We're developing a GPS based geocashing game which allows users to drag and drop crypto right on the map for others to collect through Proof of Location (PoL).  The number of applications is up to the community, whether that be advertising for a company or event, creating a scavenger hunt, or even trying to pick up coins while snowboarding.

This project is REALLY interesting and the implications for advertising are through the roof, you could promote any kind of event by offering an incentive to collect geo coins by attending.

This concept was attempted back in 2014 by checkcoin and they funded an ico but unfortunately later just abandoned the project, but i still think the concept would work.

Think of games like engres and how popular it has become, you throw a real world crypto currency worth real money and the concept takes on another meaning.

I have asked before but not sure if an answer was received but how much real GIS tech is used in this project, i work in GIS and would be interested to support this coin
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: April 03, 2018, 03:54:15 PM

ETC surprisingly made 34% of that vote between 14 other top coins, only behind BTC, ETH and then tied with monero, shows people have alot of confidence in etc
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: April 03, 2018, 03:36:27 PM
Coins that outlived Mt Gox, Silkroad, Silkroad2, NewYork License, Cryptsy, Mint, Paycoin, ERC20 explosion MtGox2 and forked during the height of Bitcoin are not ICOs - they are proven coins.

Now toss in 120+ Masternodes with 10,000 each to create scarcity.

This coin is neither a buy or sell... it’s a true hoarding coin. There are so few coins that have a road map and so few that have a deep history of following it.

Hint - Magic minting coinsize is 350.

For anyone lurking around thinking about a masternode coin to buy or a coin to stake this comment should sound some alarms. If your looking at all the coins on masternodes.online remember that sooo many of them are so new and not time tested at all. Masternode coins are very inflated right now, late last year there was only around 30 coins on masternode sites, now there is 200+.....most of these will just not last and are mere clones.

Time test coins like DMD with rock solid support/development will obviously survive and be a good long term investment, trust me been holding for 4+ years and always been satisfied.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOBYTE [GBX] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance, & Decentralized on: April 03, 2018, 03:31:00 PM
There just must be alot that goes on behind the scenes for exchanges when adding new coins that we are not aware of, must be alot more than simply downloading the wallet and syncing up the chain.

Who knows what the work is like to integrate a market into an exchanges trading engine, its not just hitbtc thats had delays, dont even get me started with cryptopia. Some other coins i am holding have been waiting for 6+ months after paying the DOT fee to get added.

2018 HW Tech100 Winner: Factom
A collaborative blockchain platform works to create an unalterable record for loan documents

Quote
Lending, Servicing, Real Estate

Factom’s Harmony is a collaborative blockchain platform that works with existing document management solutions to create an unalterable record for loan documents.

Its API integrates directly with existing software, allowing companies to share, audit and exchange sensitive documents using blockchain technology without needing a specialized blockchain developer. This technology, because it is immutable and creates a permanent record, reduces the liability for lost documents and cuts audit time, preventing costly disputes.

Not surprising at all, I could shill factom all day and not be ashamed one bit, its astonishing how much real market penetration they have already accomplished while other projects have multi billion dollar caps and really only provide a transfer of value and nothing else.....crypto sometimes Roll Eyes
