One thing you can check is any phones connected to your wifi. Not sure how they interfere, but a few users of V1 blades found phones [android?] were preventing it working correctly.

That is good to know! I got two phones and a iPad on my wifi

Reserved. (Always wanted to do that)

Sorry if it's in the wrong topic.  It's not actually a group buy at this moment, so I didn't want to put it in that sub-forum.

It is not a great idea to go cheap on PSUs.

No... REALLY!

IT'S NOT!

Holy cow!

It seems every decent AMD card is sold out EVERYWHERE. I could not find a 7950, 290, 290x or anything else remotely similar anywhere. Prices on ebay are absurd.

After mining for a little bit with my measily 5870 in a desktop, I decided today it was time to build a proper 4-5 GPU rig. Looks like that is not happening. It looks that I could also sell the 5870 on ebay for more than I paid 2 years ago, but it's too profitable to let go.

Yeah, GPUs are selling like crazy.

I need to buy some stock in AMD.

i suggest to add some powered riser cables. would have had add them to my order but now i must look somewhere else for them.  Undecided

I just bulk ordered a bunch of cables.  Will be selling them as soon as they arrive Cheesy

Couldn't find any reasonably priced so I bought 20 of each, only need 3.

Pool has a very simple address, any fathomable reason I can't connect?

I have the same issue.  I was running it fine for a few weeks and then I can no longer connect.  Going to troubleshoot it some more after Christmas when I get my new toys Cheesy

Until then, just mining LTC
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: *******CROWDCAPPER.COM*******Sports betting Picks - ( RECORD 421-114-30) on: December 06, 2013, 06:02:20 PM
Speaking of Soccer, I have a quick pick today:

Soccer - Serie A
Juventus v Bologna
Juventus ML -209

Risking .3btc to win .4435btc

if you have some NBA or USA based picks then please send in next 2 hours we have nearly 10 to 12 hours different so cannot take too much time  Grin

Don't really like a lot of the NBA lines today for a big bet, but I will probably be putting small bets (5-15mBTC) on these two:

Orlando Magic ML +180
Golden State Warriors ML +173

And might drop 50-100mBTC on this one:
Atlanta Hawks -242

But I'm not making them official picks... I think I am going to start a new thread this weekend to just post my official picks in.  I keep going back and forth on whether I want to do it, but I might as well since I am up over the past 8 months and have done rather well in that same timeframe.

I've had luck with running two cubes on one Corsair TX850 and three Cubes on two CX750's.  Of course a single Cube will run on either of these PSUs.

This should be more than enough to run one, yes?  Just trying to make sure I have everything ready to go so I can start mining as soon as the Cube arrives...

On paper yes, but in reality it probably won't last long. Cheap branded PSUs are just that unfortunately, cheap and ready to break. They have to save money building them somehow, right?

Well if it decides to crap out then I will pull the 850W Antec from my mining rig and then go get a new one for it Cheesy

For my suggestions I have the 4 GPU Vitalia in mind. https://openrigs.com/image/cache/data/IMG_3078CFLATFS-1200x900.jpg

Just a thought, but you should probably get a different color background for the pictures.  The aluminum on white background makes it very hard to see the details of the rig itself.  If you use a color background then it should bring out the rig a little bit more.  If you use a black background, the PSU and the cards will be much less of a focus of the picture, but the aluminum rig will stand out really well.

675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: *******CROWDCAPPER.COM*******Sports betting Picks - ( RECORD 421-114-30) on: December 06, 2013, 02:20:53 AM
I scattered 4 bets on the Jags ML, Jags +3, 1st quarter over, and first half under. Those last two bets contradicted each other, but at +107 and +101 those were good values. Chances are they go 1-1. There's a smaller chance I could lose both or hit both.

Looking good for ya bro Smiley

I should have put more on the Jags... had a good feeling about it tonight, but I completely forgot until about 30 minutes before kickoff... had a long day at the office and was still high off my Mavs win last night that won me over .5btc

Eagerly awaiting a certain NBA game as well... someone has very very big money on it tonight!

GO HEAT! (as a Mavs fan it hurts me a little to say this) Cheesy

How long will the old site be up?

My work computer doesn't like the new website.  Not a big deal since I usually just look for bets during work and then place them at home, but it's a minor inconvenience if I have to work late.

680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i add a 150Watt Graphic Card to my PC? on: December 05, 2013, 10:29:19 PM
You really should stop mining w/ your graphics card.  you're using more energy than your'e mining.  Get an ASIC

You should really stop asuming you know what you are talking about... unless OP is mining Bitcoin, in which case, carry on.

Scrypt mining with GPUs = profitable unless you pay $0.75/kwh
