661  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 24, 2022, 06:08:57 AM
What does government jobs have to do with crypto projects? Not all government jobs are tech related. Not everyone has skills related to those crypto projects. How and why do people come up with such questions? No matter how many blockchain related jobs are available, people will prefer government related jobs because they will very likely get paid higher and receive more benefits that those private projects can't/can never offer.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Few crypto thoughts of the day on: September 24, 2022, 05:54:49 AM
1. The minimum deep that BTC dived to was 17,500$ do you still think we are going below 13,000$? If yes please explain.
2. Does it matter if you build a crypto portfolio at 15k per BTC or 10k per BTC.
3. In 2020 covid was the reason why BTC crumbled to 3,500$ what will happen in 2023 that will bring the same deep dive to crypto market.
4. Crypto keeps looking stronger every year, it's getting more recognised and big players of the world are saying BTC is a better store of value than the dollar for long term, are they right.
1. There were people that were saying the price will go above $25,000 soon and then there were people saying that the price will go below $18,000 soon. Both groups had their reasons. And now there are people that are saying that price will go below $15,000 and then there are people saying the price will skyrocket soon. In this case, both groups have their own reasons. What I am trying to say is that the market can never be predicted accurately. So no one actually knows if the price is going to go below $13,000 or not.

2. Doesn't matter. Invest what you can afford to lose no matter what the price of the coin is. Just keep holding and never sell when you are at loss.

3. You are asking what is going to  happen in the future. I am sure you know no one knows that. Did anyone tell you about the pandemic before 2020?

4. Yes, they are right. Look at the charts. The price has always gone up in the long run.
663  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 24, 2022, 05:47:29 AM
Looks like others pointed out from your terms of service that KYC is "required" (not even optional), but you still stating that it's a NO KYC crypto based casino. That's not how you build trusts. Stop luring people into your casino giving false information. Doesn't look good at all. You will only be accused of scamming users once their funds get stuck and they will have to pass KYC. If you want players, edit your post, be more transparent and people will register. There are people that are looking for good casinos and they don't really care about KYC.
664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need some advice on: September 24, 2022, 05:28:18 AM
I need some thoughts about this group I've joined a week a go. They are giving free signals for trading and I actually start earning since day 1. Are there really group like this? or Am I on the right trading group. We trade in Batex anf U-koala.
Don't join any paid groups. Those signals they are giving are random or can be found everywhere. Very highly likely you got lucky or they just made you invest in coins that have very small market cap and they were pumping the price so you start trusting them. I bet after few trades they will ask you to join their "paid groups". You will only get scammed by them. They will pump the coins, make all the group members invest and then they will dump and take their profits. Those who are late will end up losing everything.
Avoid such paid signal groups.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I feel about play to earn games on: September 24, 2022, 05:01:54 AM
I feel like most of the games are boring and repetitive though I haven't played any of them. People should be playing those games for fun and the rewards should be considered something extra. But it looks like more people are in for the rewards than the games itself, hence the developers aren't focusing much on the games.

It used to be profitable back when it was considered new and was hyped a lot. More during the early covid days. Even heard people from least developed and developing countries were able to making living out of it. But right now too many people are trying to do the same and hence the reward value isn't the same anymore.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: September 24, 2022, 04:44:19 AM
I doubt it can be the next Ethereum. Why do we actually need "another" Ethereum? We already have one. Why not focus on something else. Why not make something better than Ethereum instead of the next Ethereum? Ethereum seems to be doing fine right now. When the next phase of the Ethereum merge takes place (sharding and the rests), it will have solved most of it's problem.
Solana network has a lot of issue filled with congestions and outages. A network that can't run smoothly has no chance of taking over Ethereum. It will be "just another coin" trying to be Ethereum.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: Iranian launching Crypto Rial on: September 24, 2022, 04:12:57 AM
Iran is planning to aunch Crypto Rial for across boarder transaction

The central bank of Iran sponsor a bill that, they are to launch crypto rial pilot in the country to test run their economy. But they are using stablecoin.

The Central Bank of Iran
-snip-

That will be nice. That is cryptocurrency mostly bitcoin is gaining ground in the space.

So a digital currency that is almost the same as CBDC. Well that would just be another stable coin that uses blockchain to facilitate transactions. Nothing new here. Just another centralized currency that the government will use to control the funds and money of their citizens.

That will be nice. That is cryptocurrency mostly bitcoin is gaining ground in the space.
In what sense is that going to be nice? We already have stable coins. I doubt it will cause any effect on the price of bitcoin.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) goes up, Bitcoin stays flat or even lose value on: September 23, 2022, 06:06:10 AM
Ripple has success in court and that is why the currency is flying high.
Take into consideration the 3rd and 4th largest Cryptos as of today are USDT and USDC and Ripple can soon go to the moon.

Would you consider investing now in Ripple instead of Bitcoin?!

 Huh
Now? Nope. It would be too risky. This is how most people loses their money. They FOMO everything have into coins that are trending and then they end up losing everything because they invest at the wrong moment. Never buy the news. If it is already trending, then high chance you are already very late.

The price of XRP already went up 70% within the last few days. Too risky to be investing now since there are lot of long term holders who have been waiting for this moment to pass on their bag and exit with their profits.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 23, 2022, 06:05:03 AM
I think this step was taken after a streamer scammed around $300,000 from their followers to gamble online. Anyway, I would say it's a good step taken by twitch. Most of those streamers gamble with free money and they don't care if they lose the money since it is not their own money. This makes the followers feel like "winning is easy with no risks involved". Hence the followers gets curious and ends up gambling a lot of money. And I guess there are lots of underage twitch users that could be affected by those gambling contents.
670  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 23, 2022, 04:47:41 AM
It can be the same if the person who is trading has no clue what he is doing and executing random trades. Gambling depends completely on luck and requires little to no skill at all. On other hand, trading might help you if you have little luck, but depends more on your skill and how much better you know the market. You don't have any control over the losses/bets that you place when you are gambling and you might lose everything. But with trading, you have full control over your investment and trades. The more you know and learn/do researches about the market, the better you will be at trading. But the more you keep on gambling, the more you will be losing because in the long run, it is the casino that will always win.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: regulating cryptocurrency on: September 23, 2022, 03:33:35 AM
Why are many governments not regulating cryptocurrency?
Because it is not very easy to regulate something that isn't centralized. But still most government has already found some way to regulate crypto currencies. Even if they can't directly control the network, they do have some way to indirectly control crypto currencies due to most people using centralized financial institutions like exchanges and wallets to do most of their transactions.

Other countries that has no regulation what so ever don't know how crypto currencies work or they don't actually care.
672  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: September 23, 2022, 03:19:26 AM
You can never go "full time crypto". That would be a huge risk. The volatility might take you down anytime. Cryptocurrencies can never guarantee you profits at the short run. But there are people who thinks that they can make quick profit and become rich over night. Hence they tend to go "full time crypto" instead of focusing on their skills which they can use to earn money and invest in crypto currencies.
Unfortunately, for many things don't go as they expect. They loose a lot. They cry and call crypto currencies scam.
673  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this Gambling Bot real or fake? on: September 23, 2022, 03:02:26 AM
Hello,

I was looking for a dice gambling bot and found one. Its called ncttechnology. But arent sure if I can trust this. Found nothing about it on google.
Does anyone of you know this script/bot. Is it real or scam?

Greetings, Getschilm
If you can't find anything about the bot, then most likely it is a shit bot or something. Others saying it existed for more than 2 years, then how come no one used it and left a review?

If it is an open source script, then likely it is safe to use, but make sure you know how to read scripts and look for any malicious/suspicious codes. If it is a closed source, better you don't use it. Make sure you know what you are doing. Bots might be able to highjack your account and your funds.
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now cryptocurrency integrated into opera. on: September 23, 2022, 02:51:26 AM
Opera browser integrates Elrond blockchain services to bolster Web3 adoption.

This means that more and more people who use opera will come to know about crypto. This mean a crypto promotion by the browser. -snip-
I don't think Opera is a very popular browser but still better than nothing. At least people will be curious about what Elrond is which might in the end make them curious about crypto currencies.
-snip-
This mean a crypto promotion by the browser.  A lot of people keep asking for good projects, i think in future elrond will be one..
Maybe you should let us know why you Elrond is a good project. Is it because of browser integrated the blockchain service? Or is it because you think it is going to be hyped? If it is anyone of those reasons, then I doubt it is a good project.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 10:57:49 PM
No matter how many coins it is, you shouldn't leave anything in the casino if you aren't playing. If you are done playing and won't play for days, then withdraw whatever you have stored. There are chances of casinos getting hacked or "going rouge". There might be a chance that the casino changed their terms of service while you were away and this might cause your funds to get frozen and you will have to spend a lot of time trying to withdraw your coins. And then there is a chance of your own account getting hacked.

Most of the casino discourages users to store their fund in their casino!
676  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will duelbits pay 20k bet? on: September 22, 2022, 01:48:14 AM
If someone bet high amount (20k)+ on this casino and win  like 2-5x time more his money.

would the casiino pay him or find excuse not to pay and ban his account?
If it was a legit casino, then they are going to pay the winner. Why wouldn't they? They are likely to make more profit than $20,000 if they stay legit. If they can afford to pay that much due to low bankroll issue, then they shouldn't allows users to place such high bets.

As long as the player wasn't cheating or breaking any terms of service of the casino, they should him.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: September 22, 2022, 01:43:11 AM
It is not going to be any threat to bitcoin. Digital dollars won't be decentralized. So people looking for decentralized currency, currency that isn't controlled by the government, currency that they own and no one else has control of will still be using bitcoin.

There are already "digital wallet dollars" and they were never a threat. And then lets be honest, most people invest in bitcoin to make profits. You won't be able to make any profit holding stable digital dollars.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things to keep in mind before accumulation of Bitcoin on: September 22, 2022, 01:17:40 AM
You say the accumulation phase is when the price of bitcoin is at the lowest. But how would you know that it is the lowest? The price went down as low as $35k and people thought it was the lowest. It kept on going low. So do you keep on waiting for the low?

And also, DCA investing and other stuffs would seem very complicated for new traders/investors. You don't have to do DCA or other stuffs if you are planning to invest and hold long term. Only invest what you can afford to lose. You have money lying around that you don't need. Invest and keep holding till you reach your profit goal.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake Bitcoin. on: September 21, 2022, 06:39:05 AM
Yeah, anyone can create a "token" call "bitcoin" and start scamming people. But people will have to be really stupid or naïve to fall for this scam. I am sure anyone would do their own research before investing in bitcoin, right? They would instantly realize they are investing in the wrong bitcoin since they will have to invest in the fake bitcoin through using DEX and that would just raise a red flag for them. And most of the newbies would just google "how to buy bitcoin easily" and I am sure they will end up in a centralized exchange with good reputation.

And what you said about exchanges might create "fake bitcoin" isn't actually creating "fake bitcoin". Probably "fake balance" that shows users have certain amount of bitcoins in their balance (only numbers no real coins) but the exchanges don't actually have those bitcoins.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 21, 2022, 06:28:02 AM
Famz is there anyway someone can early month staking a altcoin? I don't want the yearly ones APY right? I want monthly and also I will like or prefer to stake BTC or USDT or any top altcoins like XRP or BNB just to be on the safer side, the year we are in a bear market but I am in for the long term so I really don't care about market situation.
You can't stake BTC because bitcoin using proof of work, not other consensus that allows you to stake your coins. And you can't also stake USDT because you can't generate or mint your own coins.

Exchange allows you to "stake" btc or usdt, but you aren't staking anything. You are only giving them your coins so they can use it to make profit and share the profits with you. And I don't think you understand what "APY" means. Google it and try to learn things.
