681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 20, 2018, 08:24:45 AM
It all depends on the currency, for example it was obvious that Quarkchain will pump and dump, and so it did. Obviously nothing bad for the future of it.
Well, that is one way. Identify resistances; since in this case we are talking about selling and then most times see the price action on those resistances and make decision based on that, However, this is easier on longer time frames and reading of candles to be able to make such decision. Nevertheless, trend following pattern is another way to know when it is time to leave the market as the case may be, so in my opinion, anyone who knows how to trade, will find a strategy and know how to stick with it.
682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experts Reduce End of Year Forecast for Bitcoin. on: June 20, 2018, 07:37:05 AM
They are not experts, I think they assume the trend will keep going and make predictions considering it but the trend change hard to be predicted.
If they are experts, they will know better than predicting the long term value of the market in the first place, knowing that they cannot see the future and all they are just busy doing is speculating. It is an opinion anyway, but what I just do not like is adding word expert to it, when indeed they are even the clowns in the picture. Very hard to predict the market in its short term trend, let alone, long term Cheesy.

This year-end may not resemble what we had in last year but the projections are usually works based on how good market is doing. When bitcoin prices bounce back in coming weeks, we can be sure those experts will alter their words again. Even pivot point mechanism and calculations are working this way only.
683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get rid of emotions when trading on: June 20, 2018, 06:20:31 AM
Most newbies may actually find it pretty hard to comprehend all the things you have said, but they are sure good points. The best way for me is just to learn and practice with nothing much or no real life money involved. Trading is not something that can be rushed into as you keep learning every day and if you make any silly mistake not knowing what to do, emotion starts kicking in but learning and practicing will give you that confidence in the long time.

Emotions are always known for misguiding us to deviate from our actual plans and decisions, when we will be having strong will and strictly following what we had planned up in non-market hours or when not trading then we can easily get rid off emotional failures. It might sound hard for beginners but easily achievable over experience.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Investment for 1 year on: June 19, 2018, 07:46:04 PM
I think with present situation in the cryptocurrency market, the best investment option will be a long-term investment but one must be selective as not all of them can survive the test of time.
Obviously, and now that most altcoins are currently down without much movement, that would be the best way to go. However, like you have mentioned, there is a huge need to know which coin to pick and with the sentiments going around in the market, no one will want to be choosing a coin that may get fully dumped and end up shitty if there tends to be a market crash which there could be a possibility and will be affecting a lot of markets in the event where that happens.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling? on: June 19, 2018, 07:15:41 PM
not all coins that fall below the ico price will rise again even some of them will not compete in the market (die) it all depends on how developers develop the project, if they have many strategies then the coins will rise above ico price and can give you many benefits. to hold or sell it all depends on you in researching the coin
Obviously as there would be some coins that would end up shitty anyway and that makes it possible for some coins to either end up just as a pump and dump coin or simply as a shit dead coin with no hope of rising anytime in the future.

However, just as you have said, everything depends on the coin and the project as well as the product backing up the demand for the coin, but we know this is so far a speculative market, so even coins or tokens with no product can still have hope of getting pumped.
686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will explode! on: June 19, 2018, 06:43:04 PM
Sudden price decrease keeps happening these past few days and the same scenario happens last year before the hard fork in August.
I feel something will happen few months for now, and I think a great pump which will mark another history will have to explode soon.
I want to be positive on this and keep my investment growing. How bout you guys?

Yes, bitcoin will not fall like this for good, we who believe and be patient in holding bitcoin will definitely have the opportunity to benefit from bitcoin again.
Most of the times, there is simply no market that can keep falling or being in a downtrend forever as long as it is not a dead market, so it is normal to get to see some move upward later on. Nevertheless, no one can definitely know how this is going to be playing out in the end or when it is going to be playing out but those who believe in the long term will care less of the present movement in the market and concentrate on the possibilities of what the future holds.
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 bitcoin amendment price be similar to 2014? on: June 19, 2018, 06:24:25 PM
So many people focus on the momentum of short-term bitcoin, so they tend to forget the overall situation. Over the years, bitcoins have seen numerous peaks and lows. I don't think this year will be a repeat of 2014.
It is normal since we have so many people who have invested in the peak and you would not actually expect them not to complain until they also enter the league of those who would not have to get worried about their investment going lower.
This year may repeat the same incident with 2014 and it may not, as no one knows for real, the only thing we can expect is that this year will get to do its own thing, but if we are to be realistic technically, i do not think the market is done yet with the downward move.
688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell now and save some little of your money. on: June 19, 2018, 05:14:02 PM
I guess do not sell it now, just for the sake of saving a little money. the old investors have made transactions on a large scale, to cause prices to fall as it is now, if we follow-sell it, then the price will fall further, dude. we'd better keep hold of the coins we have until the other users start buying bitcoin back and that will cause the price to go up again.
Anyone who is selling now without some trading knowledge is obviously going to be taking a very huge risk and makes it a very emotional state driven time to start selling in the market. The best time to sell is when there is a little bit of an uptrend with the possibility of the market not being able to move further and maybe selling at the point and buying back lower than just holding, but that still will be possible for anyone with trading knowledge, otherwise, the best is just to hold.
689  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculation on BTC on: June 19, 2018, 12:29:35 PM
I believe there are plenty of powers fighting for the dominance over bitcoin some of which are trying to suppress the price and some drive it up. Moreover, bitcoin's rate is pretty dependent on news. With all that in mind, I would dare making any predictions as there always is a chance of a black swan.
And more than thay is the countries that dont want bitcoin or crypto interfered their economy thats why they are putting lots of regulations and some are banning but this is not enough to deeper the burden

In future years(not specifically this year)bitcoin will will and all alternative coins will bloom together with it,expect no good speculation but expect good future for us here
Any country that is trying to limit the growth of bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large in the country, is definitely going to be losing out in the long run and will possibly end up coming late to the game and there is no doubt about that.

There is so much to gain for each and every country if they even come up with light and lenient regulation policies, which I believe will advance the growth of the community and as well as the economic growth of the country itself. Some countries already know that and are so fast to embrace it.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price "drop" on: June 18, 2018, 03:32:14 PM
Bitcoin price drop, for me that's normal, because every day the price up and down, so do not worry too much about it, Be patient in holding your money because the bitcoin price will surely soar again
but bitcoin price now drop sharply and abnormal movement.in a day it down more than ten percents. and it off course make much people being panic and sell their asset.
it does make these people feel worried, but I must be optimistic that the btc will go back up again, and do not break up to wait for the days to come.
If they are worried, then they are simply worried for the wrong reasons. This is not the first time bitcoin price is going to be dropping hugely and the reason they get worried easily is because almost every new investors do not have investment experience and all they do is buy at the top and sell at the bottom out of panic and most times because of their mentality of getting quick fast, they just keep repeating the same process over and over.

Anyone who is ready to invest even after buying at the top can make amends by adding to the folio at the bottom and having some level of patience.
691  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: June 18, 2018, 02:14:19 PM
That is tough to call.
Always a tough call to predict the future. The market is generally not predictable and we have always known how things usually play out most of the time in cases like this when there is a likelihood of a huge bearish pattern forming on the chart. Even if we are bullish in the short term, I am not sure how the next few months are going to end up playing out. There is a huge uncertainty in the market right now, and as it is, the best thing is to see the way the whole trend turns out.
692  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bloodbath to End on: June 17, 2018, 09:30:57 AM
We've been waiting for bitcoin to get back to $10,000 but it seems tired and can't move forward as of now.
People expect too much from the market, which is the main obstacle, not the demand. If everyone just accepts that the pump to $20,000 was an artificial increase, people will start to appreciate current levels more.

We aren't even all that far away from the fake pump of last year. Bitcoin 'only' needs to jump up with 160% from current levels to reach an extremely hyped and overbought market peak.

If you think about that, you'll realize that $7600 might still be somewhat on the higher side, and not low as some people here think it is. If anyone here thinks $7600 is low then use that as an opportunity to buy some coins.
Bitter truth. One reason why this market to keep being like this most especially until we start seeing virtually most of the people all around the world seeing bitcoin as a proper means of currency for transactions purposes and easy one most especially when making international transactions than how they see it now as a speculative asset.

That mindset that a lot of people have with bitcoin getting them rich overnight is just way absurd and that would keep bringing about the issue we have with a lot of panic fingers in the market.
693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy in or opt out? on: June 14, 2018, 06:10:01 PM
With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?

market is crashing but not to worry because it is not the final fall that will happen and never get recovered. It will soon be recovering and rising above 10k. So an time to invest in the down market to get the good gains in coming months only. Do not do panic selling as it can worsen the market situation.
Nothing to worry at all and I have not even considered this as a crash yet until I start seeing some pretty crazy volume to the downside going as low as it can get towards $3000. However, what is necessary is to keep believing in the recovery, because no matter what, the recovery of this market is always going to come in an astonishing way that a lot of things are changing, institutions are looking for the best price, and I am looking forward to that huge volume that would be kicking into this market when that time comes.
694  Economy / Speculation / Re: PREDICTION OF BITCOIN PRICE on: June 14, 2018, 11:00:59 AM
Yes, the prediction is quite plausible because now the bitcoin position is slightly disturbed, a lot of factors affect the reputation of bitcoin, so many people are starting to throw their confidence in bitcoin. It will take a long time to get people back to believe in bitcoin.
I always laugh when I see series of predictions like this and what comes to mind is the question, how on earth can anyone know what the future is going to be holding ?

Obviously, they do it to gain attention. No one will ever have an idea what the value of bitcoin is going to be at the end of this year, next year and the next ones to come. Nothing is predictable, it is a volatile market, and we can get to see any surprises at any point in time. Predictions will either set you up for a very high expectation or a low one but just follow what you see and stick with it.
695  Economy / Speculation / Re: No change in bitcoin price for 24 hours on: June 14, 2018, 07:55:09 AM
Today Bitcoin fell from $7500 to $6,700 and the price has not changed in the past 24 hours. It is at $6750 all the time.

Did something go very wrong with Bitcoin ?? -12% fall in one hour and then no trading till now..
It is normal for a market to be quiet most especially in the phase of uncertainty. The bear market is still very strong, no one knows what is next, TA is not aligning with the position of the market and the only thing we can rely on simply now is price action at certain support and that alone is still something one would really need to be very careful with as well. However, we are still going to end up getting the best from the market once it recovers anyway which as far as I am concerned is expected.

No change in any market usually indicates the uncertainly among traders. It means everyone is waiting for the further trend. It takes place usually at strong support and resistance levels. Because breaking those levels may lead to continuation of current trend and reverse back will bring new trend. As of now, we all also must wait for confirmation of trend.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: June 13, 2018, 03:38:48 PM
do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy

This is actually normal if you are addicted to gambling, you would still do it even though you know that you have lost so much money but you still play over and over again thinking that you will still win a jackpot. Event if you still win you will still come back and play more because you're too greedy and want more money and you go back to gambling and will lose everything instead. This is commonly how people will be doing if they are addicted to gambling. If you really want to quit gambling you need to control yourself or go ask for someone's help.
The problem actually with most addicts is that they know they are addicted but they always find a reason to just keep coming back and a reason why they can just make it their last time and every other day afterwards keep being the last time.

The whole thing with addiction comes with the problem of not agreeing with losses and starts with the idea of trying to recover them or finding if there is a possibility of doing so until they keep losing more and the cycle keeps revolving like that. When we are not losing hope with gambling, quitting it seems highly impossible. Taking time and recalling how dangerous that gambling is, definite will bring the options to quit forever.
697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: June 13, 2018, 02:31:07 PM
I am not an addicted gambler anymore, actually not even close even if i do gamble once in awhile. So, i can proudly say that i can live with or without gambling and i mean it. Gambling only excites me at first but later on i became careless with my strategy, i mean it happens all the time most especially when we are just playing inside our home and with family members like my bro, relatives and friends.

Really? Thats cool but anyways we are actually on the same boat because me myself isnt also addicted on gambling but to be honest i am verry addicted on gambling before when i was still a child. I play any kinds of gambling on the street but as i grow older i now know how to value money because i now already know that money is not verry easy to find, we need to work hard in order to obtain it thats why my views in gambling had also change drastically.
I have been reading for a while and it just seems everyone find it so easy to stay away from gambling for a very long time, and I tend to wonder how many people stay off gambling outside real casinos, and let us take it down to the online ones because let's face it, a lot of people gamble every day and it seems they cannot just stay away for a very long time for whatever reasons.

I said that because there are just some consistent gamblers for instance on cryptogames. However, staying away for a long time in gambling is a choice, but the fact that you make it often is a problem and good for people like you that can at least stay away for a very long time.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: June 13, 2018, 01:28:45 PM
Benefits is that you can easily while your time, you can get many beverages to eat in casinos, if you win then it is bonus as you everything else you are getting is free and do not have to spend and above that if you win is like you are the luckiest of them all as mostly people will lose money. Also you can make some good buddies as well.
Well, regarding gaining new friends, that is possible but the caliber of friends you are gaining depends on the casino you are going to as you would not really be making ,much of reasonable friends from a local casino anyway except may be for that period you will always be going to gamble.

With respect to getting everything for free, I have never experienced that though, even though I usually do not gamble much or ask for anything but I doubt if that is the case. A true benefit from gambling is stress bursting. But most gamblers do get stress due to gambling. Instead of finding some benefits from gambling, those people do lose more to gambling.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: June 12, 2018, 07:37:47 PM
Nice thread with some real experiences. Mine will not be that interesting as I have already overcome addiction.

This story is of two brothers who introduced me to gambling. Their current age will be about 40 and 32. Both were addicted to gambling. The older brother started with offline gambling and was also involved in various other illegal activities. The younger one was having some part time job t pay for bills and the money he used to loose on gambling online. Their parents knew about this but they perhaps gave up on them. Lat time I checked  about them, all 4 were living in a rented room of 100 sq feet.
Yeah, experiences that are worth reading and nice one for the OP to come up with this and pretty sure it is a thread that will keep going on and on. I have never been addicted to gambling anyway simply because I have always known gambling to never come with a good story at the end of the day and that makes me to keep it simple or try to avoid it.

I once started gambling but as time goes on, I started feeling uncomfortable based on the fact that I just felt immediately that I am gradually losing it, which made me to drop it. It is not something hard to do, because I know once addicted, it is always like you are trapped in a very deep hole and it would only take some luck and inner strength to get out from.
700  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: June 12, 2018, 06:34:55 PM
Low price of Bitcoins will attract new people to join the rally, now that a lot more people can afford to buy a ''Full Bitcoin''
I agree!..current low bitcoin price in the market, will also giving a great opportunity to the others to buy more now,and gain more profits on the right time of selling.
Yeah, that is basically the idea and the reason why anyone should not even be missing such a mouthwatering chance. So far so good, bitcoin has shown some strength even at the current downtrend and we are not where we used to be anyway, which is more like something to really be looking forward to the future for. The chances of not even getting this value later on is there and for those who may end up missing all these dips, they would wish they never did when the time comes, so for buying and accumulation reasons, this is the good for not just bitcoin but for investors.
