701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: October 16, 2022, 11:40:22 AM
KYC is not enough for crypto casinos? Crypto casinos should check all its players source of funds?
I disagree about checking the source of funds. It is a private area. How can a crypto casino evaluate and learn someone's source of funds? It violates people's rights. I simply avoid joining the casino if they force me to show my source of funds. It is too much!!!

Are we going to ignore that land based casinos are not even asking for its gamblers KYC? There are some casinos that need an ID before people can enter. But that's it, they don't photocopy the ID for for their copy. Most casinos I entered do not require ID. You can easily enter as long as you don't look like a criminal or beggar.
What casinos you are talking about? Online casinos or physical casinos?
If land-based casinos don't require visitors for KYC, do you think it should be applied to online-based casinos as well?
In my opinion, each casino may have different regulations, we can't expect them to have the same rules about KYC.

In your own experiences in a physical casino, did they asked for a KYC? Asking for an ID without taking a copy of it is not KYC. It appears that international money laundering is a very big issue but local money laundering is not that kind of a big deal. It varies from places to places but I just shared my opinion that it is not strict on physical casinos.
I have no experienced in physical casinos, but i heard from my a few friends who's played physical casinos, where if you want to bet with big amount of money then casino teams will ask KYC & others documents. So, it’s depend on the countries, local physical casinos is also strict in my country.
Country to country the regulations will vary. According to gambling money laundering regulation from the gambling commission, anything above €2000 needs to have manual verification. This is the rule, but countries make changes according to their need. Maybe with cryptocurrency accepted platforms too this is applicable, but users won't show interest to use the respective platform if something likewise is made mandatory.
702  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: October 16, 2022, 10:56:42 AM
The severity of the protests were seen on few countries. This is all because of the high inflation caused due to the poor governance. In some countries there is lack of employment, and in some countries there is employment opportunities available but lacks manpower. The seriousness of the inflation over different countries were of different reasons. Every government tries hard to find a solution to lower the inflation.

703  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 16, 2022, 06:51:54 AM
Lol, I really don't know if you have been inside a casinos, because that is obvious that you can't find any clock inside so that you won't have a sense of time.

Been to Vegas, the strip and I would say the experience is priceless to me as I'm not American so I'm awe with it. But I guess it's just the same, just like casinos here in country, but then again, if you are out in the US, I would say it's a must for tourist.

No, I have never been to a casino. Because gambling is not allowed in my country. Some casinos run them secretly. But, only people with huge money can go there and enjoy. I don't have huge money, and I believe I still wouldn't try casinos if I had. I would love to gamble from home and enjoy. All I know about physical casinos is from some youtube videos. Those bloggers visit casinos and share their experiences.
In my country too it isn't available all around. Casinos are much popular in specific location and that too available in cruise ships. I have never been to those caisnos and going to Casinos is like visiting a tourist place. Because, most of the people just go to watch what is happening and very few participate in different games.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Prophecy on: October 15, 2022, 11:59:19 PM
Religion has not only become a tool for control; it has now become a cash cow for clerics
The preacher you were listening to is either being misleading on purpose or he’s a sham. Most likely, he’s both and he’s fishing for new sheep for his flock.
Lying and defrauding in the name of the lord. Just great.

People easily fall for these kind of talks when connected to God. The preacher have done it in the right way knowing what is happening around and what people are expecting. We people need to be careful handling such situations. Because, loss and profiting out of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies happens out of the volatility. We need to learn and try the best, praying to God for the betterment of the market is good. But, the same doesn't have anything to do with these kind of preachers.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next meme coin to buy in 2022 on: October 15, 2022, 11:57:33 PM
I don't think meme coins are worth buying despite their previous pump because, to be honest, most of them only pump due to manipulations and hype just like Doge. It's risky to invest in them especially if it's a long-term investment. there are other better utility coins with good purposes that are worth trusting and could possibly give a promising profit in the future. Some meme coins are just worth investing in for a short-term period.
Every form of investment have got its pro and con. We need to analyse what suits us and go according to it. When we talk of memecoins, the investment needs to be done as a gamble. Because, we don't know on what basis the market progress happen with the particular token. As suggested utility tokens and projects that have got minimum viable product could be better in all means.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 15, 2022, 11:54:02 PM
Gambling is just to have entertainment. In reality we don't use it in that way and that is where our losing begins. This is common for everyone. Only the richest who have got everything financially fulfilled prefer gambling as an entertainment. I don't know whether I'll continue or take a stand to limit, because within few turn I used to end my wager as there won't be funds. Even the last week payment got over in less than 10 turn, and my focus was just to have an additional $5.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 15, 2022, 11:50:15 PM
India Women vs Sri Lanka Women, Final The game has started. Batting first, Sri Lanka Women scored 65 runs in 20 overs and lost 9 wickets.  Couldn't score too many runs. Now batting India Women scored 25 runs in 3 overs. I think India Women will win this match very easily.

Indian women's team is far more superior than the Srilankan team and we have witnessed this today. The Indian team chased the target in only under 9 overs and proved that they are the best women cricket team in Asia. No other cricket team is even close to the class of the Indian team.
Smriti Mandhana alone scores 51 runs in the total of 71 runs. She scored this half century in just 25 balls and Srilankan bowlers were helpless against her batting.
There can be good or bad performance in cricket. However, no one expected Sri Lanka's poor performance as the final match. Many thought that India Women's team will win the match but Sri Lanka will be able to put up a good defense here. But that didn't happen anymore. They had to end their innings with just 65 runs. India women's team won the match without any pressure.

I do agree that good and bad performances may happen on any day in a cricket match but still, it is not acceptable that one team plays so badly on the final day. Common on, how can you score just 65 runs on the final of the biggest tournament?

This is not only bad for the team but also it is bad for the spectators who were watching the match in the ground and on the televisions. When one team scores nothing, it just become a one sided match while people are expecting a tough match as both teams are strong to reach the finals.
This happens and we can't be judgemental. It is their performance and surely they might have got pressure on playing the finals. Further the early wickets might've kept the players under more pressure as they need to be more responsible. According to me, Sri Lanka players weren't able to give their natural game.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 15, 2022, 11:47:08 PM
@Sithara007, you are quite a knowledgeable person on this forum. Your deep knowledge reveals that. I would like know your opinion on a topic. That is, What do you think about Roger Binny? how qualified he is replacing Ganguly in the Indian cricket board? and will Indian cricket get better or worse from Ganguly's departure?

Honestly I don't know much about Roger Binny. He has quite a lot of experience with cricket administration, as he worked as president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). The idea of Karnataka Premier League (KPL) can be partly attributed to him. Apart from that he was also a part of selection panel for the BCCI. He has also worked as a commentator and as a cricket expert for some of the news channels. However I have my reservations in replacing someone young such as Ganguly with an old horse like Binny.
Whether it is Binny, Ganguly or a much younger person, things will happen same as what has happened before. There won't be much of changes as the prime focus is over revenue and not much on cricket. If they start building up the cricket we can talk of young one into administration. Here everything is based on money and not on the cricketing development.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 14, 2022, 06:50:00 AM
In bear, coins keep decreasing no matter how good the circumstance may be, and in bull even an ama news would shoot coin up through sky   Tongue

Being speculative, this is how the market used to move. The market sentiment for ethereum over the last thirty days seems to be on the declining side. There is small bounce in the market over the last 24 hrs and this has made ethereum go $1300+ in price. Parallel to the same there is more bearish moves incoming over the next five days based on prediction from experts. This will set the price between $1050-$1100. Everything is based on the ongoing market trend.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: Court win for worker fired for not keeping webcam on on: October 14, 2022, 06:01:35 AM
Very few countries have got courts that stand for the rights of employee. It is great that the court have the right judgement stating that there is no justification on getting into employees private life. The employee too cleared his decision to off the webcam. His emails, web, screen, everything is shared. Beyond that he doesn't want him monitored 9hours a day.

The court have provided compensation for the employee who hadn't agreed to switch on the webcam, more employees will be experiencing the same suffering. Some monitoring authorities should make inspections to keep work life away from private life.
711  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Market, Is it going to come soon or Will People have to Wait More.. on: October 14, 2022, 05:42:06 AM
  • The market have been moving in connection to the CPI index. There is not much of downward movement in the CPI index. The inflation is quite high and this causes downturn in the market and now slight sideway movement is happening.
  • I don't think the bitcoin market along with the top altcoins go near to death
  • Not really, but the adoption as a country will give more realistic usage as we use traditional fiat in daily life, which is a big success and the growth happens following the same.
  • I'm not sure of it. I find cryptomarket to be independent in some means.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 14, 2022, 05:27:15 AM
In the tri-final match, New Zealand gave Pakistan a very small target. I don't think Pakistan can be stopped in such a small target. I think if New Zealand could have stayed within 190 to 210 runs, it would have been possible to stop Pakistan. will be able to, still until the end of the game it cannot be said for sure which team will win and which team will lose
At last tri-series trophy lifted by Pakistan team. Throughout the series it played better than New Zealand and Bangladesh. In today's match every player had their contribution. New Zealand wasn't able to stop Pakistan players from scoring 164 runs. Sodhi was so expensive that he had an economy of 14.50 runs per over. Bracewell did the best conceding 14 runs and taking 2 wickets.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 14, 2022, 04:19:46 AM
Is anyone following any of the tournaments currently running?

ATP - Firenze Open
WTA - San Diego

I am watching the match between Swiatek and Zheng at San Diego and have a -4.5 handicap
on Swiatek. It's getting close to not being met if Swiatek wins in 2 sets....
Lucky, the match moved to the third set. Iga Swiatek won against Zheng at the third set, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1. As you've mentioned the match moving to the third set have got this match to be a winning handicap. In the Quarter final Swiatek to play against Coco Gauff.

New Zealand vs Pakistan, Final match Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl. Now New Zealand is batting. New Zealand scored 46 runs in 5 overs. And New Zealand lost 1 wicket. Finn Allen was first out for 12 off 6 balls.  It is not yet known which team will win this match.
In the last five overs New Zealand wasn't able to score good. They made just 33 runs in the last five overs and ended the innings 163/7 which is a target that can be chased by Pakistan. New Zealand could've managed to score atleast 180+ runs. It is the performance from Williamson that made this score. On the bowling end it is Haris Rauf who bowled well with an economy of 5.50 runs and took two wickets (Convoy & Sodhi).
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 14, 2022, 03:28:15 AM
Being lucky to choose the number close to the winning number itself a big thing. For this reason I won't think of anything more, just split and get the winning. Will there arises such situation, because it is unfair to conduct a draw placing the numbers that weren't chosen by any of the participants.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bangladesh has blocked 331 online casinos on: October 14, 2022, 03:24:28 AM
Earlier it is the country that arrested people for having bitcoin. The citizens were also warned with the incident, but people from Bangladesh continue using bitcoin through one way or the other. This is all because of the value they've got. So, decisions from the governments were just a way to trigger people find an alternate path. If not the authority is in need of money from the mentioned list of 331 online casinos.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 14, 2022, 03:09:43 AM
Behind the failure of Gli Azzurri to qualify for the world cup. twice in a row the Italian national team failed to qualify for the world cup, is this just bad luck or the Italian national team is facing serious problems.
what do you think is the cause. the coach factor, or the players underperforming.
It is a combination of both and I will even add overconfidence to the mix, the Italian soccer squad has always been a contender, but I think this generation of players is just taking this reputation for granted, we know that distances between the great teams and the rest are becoming shorter as time has passed and raw talent can be countered with discipline, physicality and good defense, and Italy has been unable to deal with this effectively which is why they are missing the world cup twice in a row.
Italy is overconfident in its performance. It was big disappointment not being into the 2018 world cup. Nowhere it looks like they lack performance. Once again there is good play and it made them win the Euro Cup during the year 2020. If I'm not wrong, this winning kept them on the top and boosted the confidence. Finally the same didn't let them perform the best, and failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 14, 2022, 02:57:53 AM
At times arises some thoughts about usage of AI into the development, because we will be in complete winning streak and suddenly our losing streak opens up. This means whether we go with under, over or set a limit, our roll ends with loss. Everywhere the provably fair functioning is perfect, yet our losing makes us think more things. So, strategies would help but it won't be successful everytime.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 12, 2022, 11:59:34 PM
The South African squad had plenty of experienced batsmen. Even then they could not collect even 100 runs. I would say such a defeat to a second tier team in India is very embarrassing for South Africa. They should have performed more carefully. Players like de Kock and Miller should have batted more responsibly. Since the team players are not in good form, the experienced players should have tried to stay at the crease for a long time. After winning the first match, South Africa lost badly in the last two matches. If the performance of the batsmen is not better, they may be eliminated in the first round in the next World Cup.
Do you know the funny part?

The very same team beat the Indian main team in the previous bilateral series (test and ODI) and exact same proteas team, which is full strength got humbled by the 2nd string Indian team.

I'm starting to think that Indian selectors should start playing with the 2nd string team everywhere, they can't do that bad considering the main Indian team gets a bloody nose in every ICC tournament.
This is happening with most of the teams where the main team performance stands questionable based on the performance from the second tier team.

Very few players have got consistent performance. If a player who had previous match hadn't performed good, the upcoming players should take responsibility and perform. In the third ODI of South Africa vs India, it was Heinrich to score 34 to reach 99. If not this could've gone even worse.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone who buys Coins from the Top50 will stay poor on: October 12, 2022, 11:54:29 PM
When you expect big return you're supposed to take big fan risk. On this, you need to research low priced low cap coins. If lucky it might pump as expected within a week. During the same time period it can reach the bottom. The top 50 will having good liquidity and there'll be assured growth, and this won't be something as 1000x and so on. Such level of growth will take place, but we can't expect such growth and invest
