Problem sort of solved itself after a couple of hours, so i guess it had something to do with bittrex API.

If I have $ 300, in a pair of BTС/USDT I can make 3 orders!!! This is extremely small! I would like to be able to set an order for ~ $ 10. Please correct this! In a couple of LTC/BTC with $ 300 I can make - 60 orders. NEO/BTC - 7442 orders. Im not sure I understand this. Can you explain whats wrong? Is there more detailed documentation available? While I have had some success and have made a profit over all, Margin Maker today was buying and selling at the same price and obviously the fees took a chunk out of my profits. I would really like to have something a bit more in-depth to work with other than the tutorial videos and whatever I can fine on YouTube.

You can insist on a min gain by setting the Min Effective Gain setting. So for example, setting it to +1% ensures that each cycle it makes at least 1% after trading fees have been subtracted. Best wishes, Jonathan |

Hello Jonathan,
I'm enquiring as to the whereabouts of the new auto trading bots that were to be implemented in summer 2017. You did mention that you have some big plans for the summer but it's now fast approaching the new year of 2018 and no additional bots in sight.
I will take this opportunity to bring your attention to a long standing problem. Maybe you're fully aware of it but I will reiterate anyway as this is an issue that requires resolve ASAP. Leonardo appears to be fundamentally flawed where memory management is concerned. I see Leonardo starting at around 500MB of memory usage when it's first run and synchronised fully with 3 markets and 60 pairs spread across them. After a few hours this memory usage doubles to above 1GB and then crashes Leonardo completely, leaving hanging trades on exchanges and not completing cycles. On a restart and resynchronisation this memory usage falls back to around 500MB but soon reaches 1+GB and crashes again and again. How are we supposed to use this either on our workstations or on a VM unattended if this memory issue keeps killing it? This desperately needs attention as bloated memory use and poor management causing this software to fail is unacceptable.
Another issue that may be related to flawed memory management is the issue with huge page support. As you may know, many crypto traders also mine for crypto on their workstations and other machines. CryptoNight in particular requires that huge page support be enabled in the Windows policy editor so that the CryptoNight algorithm with CPU mining can perform at 100%, without huge page support mining is crippled to just over 60%. Leonardo appears completely broken for this and sometimes runs and then crashes soon after or often time just refuses to run altogether. This is another issue that requires urgent attention. Please respond to the community here as to your fix for these issues.

I'm currently trying to use it on my mac and the version is 3.6.0-beta build: 11567340 but when I click the login, it does not do anything but just sits there. Poloniex is the exchange.

O.k. i did not test the new update all in depth .. but i can confirm, it's working like a charm on bitfinex again ..... I will write updates on anything else i find on the new version. But re-starting 3 separated leonArdo instances on my win7 laptop worked like a charm (8 Pairs with 6 marginmaker bots on bittrex, 5 Pairs with 4 marginmaker bots on Poloniex and 2 pairs with one marginmaker bot on bitfinex), within some _very few seconds_. I like this update! I hope it works like it started .. but it looks very good and resuming the bots was just a simple game of point and click. Very cool! (I did not stop the bots before shutting down the instance and installed the update to just re-start the separated instances for every exchange.) I'm again a very happy customer. Greetings Hacky. I do not have a computer which is always on (7x24) and good internet connection. So I thought that I can use my Linux VPS server. But it does not have a GUI, If I install to it should I use it by web interface? Or how?
Alternatively, I can get a Windows VPS to use GUI. How much RAM needed in this configuration?
In summary I need help to use Leanordo in VPS configurations, please advice.

You may use this as a point of reference or starting point. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1467939.msg23951513#msg23951513I prefer XFCE4 for the desktop. 2G will host a dozen pair on LInux. leo is multi-core aware so it will definitely take advantage of multiple cpus. -Also, do not surf, especially porn or torrent sites from your vps where leonArdo is hosted. As for windows, if you are Linux literate do not do it. Just two days ago a guy setup a Win10 VPS and was pwned almost immediately, they used leonArdo to purchase some shitcoin and locked him out of the system. There is speculation where and how or if the system came with a Trojan. Obviously his keys are forfeit and he has some cleanup to do. You can use leonArdo's encryption to protect your keys. Early this morning I left my computer unattended for about 12 hours. All power settings were set to sleep never except the monitor which could turn off after 10 mins When I returned I noticed that some threads had continued updating throughout the intervening 12 hours, some had the red dash similar to the photo for that interval and others just had the 12 hour chunk missing. This was for two servers. Bittrex and Bitfinex I have done the following. Checked my power settings. OK Shut Down Leo. All missing data for Bitfinex has been restored. However all Bittrex data from all threads prior to when I returned to the PC about an hour ago is now missing even Data that was there prior to restarting Leo Thanks Data collection was down on bittrex! Is this usecase scenario possible with leonArdo?
1) I manually place a limit sell order of BTC/USD for 8000USD
2) I want leonArdo to check if the order executed and if yes, to place a buy order for BTC/USD for 7600USD price
Is this something leonArdo can do? Are you guys aware of some other tool capable of this?
You can use the static ping pong bot to buy and sell between two prices like that. The only thing you cannot do is automatically have it stop after a single cycle. It would continue to sell and buy indefinitely. Note the bot can only be in one mode at a time. So if you start it in sell mode it would sell at 8000 and then only switch to buy mode after it had sold. Best wishes, Jonathan |

I was hoping for Kraken support in this new release. I also regret that the demo-Kraken exchange is removed from the app.
I gave the reason for this in a post yesterday. Please see below. We so wanted to release Kraken today, but we just couldn't do it. Their API is just so unreliable at present, it feels like their website. It's horrible and today I couldn't place or cancel a single f*$king order over a two hour period?? We are really sorry about this. Hopefully, Kraken can start to improve things on their end. As for us, we have spent hundreds of hours trying to work with their API and are now in a fix. One thing we are considering is having a closed beta round with a slack channel for feedback to get it out to some testers. Would that be something you would be interested in?
